Victoria Justice in Prabal Gurung for Target

Posted on April 04, 2013

You know how sometimes you can’t help blurting out when you see someone, “OHMIGOD! What a cute outfit!”

Victoria Justice makes an appearance on ‘Extra’ at The Grove in Los Angeles in a Prabal Gurung for Target top paired with DL1961 jeans and Sam Edelman shoes.

Ohmigod, what a cute outfit, right?

Not much else to add, really. It’s not fashion-forward or notable in any way except it’s cute, and real-world covetable. Kudos to whoever picked out that belt, because it’s probably not the first color most would pull out of that shirt. Cuffing the jeans and adding black pumps takes it from too-casual to day-time chic. In case we haven’t been clear, we love the look.

I just tried to buy it and it’s out of stock online and not in any stores in my area. 🙁

  • Ummm excuse me while I run to Target and make that shirt mine.

    • The belt is at Target too.

    • Jackie4g

Go online. That’s what i did with their Missoni, a while back.

    • Candigirl1968

I may knock you over trying to get there first.

    • MilaXX

I’m sure it’s long gone. That Prabal line was nearly a month ago.

    • Introspective

check ebay. that’s where target designer lines go to live long after theyve sold out in stores…

  • Pretty damned cute. And Target was verrrrry smart to get this designer to work with them

    • MilaXX

They didn’t do nearly as much promotion for it as they did Missoni or Jason Wu. A photo-op like this should have happened back in February when the line dropped.

      • Well, that’s disappointing to hear. Sounds like a pretty good screw up in promotions.

        • MilaXX

and it was a really cute collection

      • Zoe Saldana wore the sweatshirt a few days before the collection was available and people freaked the eff out for it.

    • Carly Warnock

I love this collection! I own half of it and I constantly get compliments and it was crazy affordable. Best collab ever. I hope they do a Target and Prabal Gurung round two.

    • JosephLamour

I was just thinking… i want that shirt. I’d look totally Fresh Prince in it. I wonder if there’s any left in stock.

  • stagmania

I have the pointy-toed flats in this print. Love that whole line.

    • MilaXX

I got the pumps and wore them with a navy peplum top and pencil skirt set from their online Labworks collection.

  • What TLo said… cute and real-world chic.

  • decormaven

Afraid to check price of those pants. But the top is cute, and the whole is a very accessible look.

    • Meg0GayGuys6

Haha I had the same thought- they’re $179.

    • Deac82

with the sale discount, they are under $150…very reasonable for designer jeans. Black skinnies are a staple–so if they fit like a glove, they are well worth the price!

  • Pretty hair and makeup as well! Buying that shirt for my daughter RIGHT NOW!

  • Sobaika

Someone needs to cast her and Nina Dobrev as sisters.

    Cute look!

    • musicandmochi

Yes! I have thee hardest time telling them apart sometimes.

    • Allyson Wells

I was JUST thinking that! She looks like her twin in that second picture.

    • siriuslover

I know, right? I was on a Harry Potter site the other day and there were Halloween pictures of Nina Dobrev dressed as Hermione and I swear she reminded me of Victoria Justice.

    • I’m thinking Vanessa Marcil.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

Pinning this for my nephew’s fiance…she wants to look fashionable, but she’s a poor college student.

  • eh… i’m not loving it. i mean, i think i’d like it more if she were in her 30s but it ages her a little bit. and i’m not a fan of the where the cuff hits her either.

  • Isabel

The lady in blue looks a bit jealous.

    • musicandmochi

I normally don’t default to presuming two women dislike one another, but Miss Justice totally looks like she’s saying, “WHAT BITCH WHAT.”

Also, Miss Justice. Totally sounds like a superheroine. Only question is: DC? …or Marvel?

      • fursa_saida

Suuuper late here, but the answer is DC. They’ve got the Justice League, and comics are nothing if not on-the-nose with their themes. Marvel has Ms. Marvel already (or did, until she became Captain Marvel, which is a DELIGHT but we don’t have to get into that here).

        • musicandmochi

Agreed. Owutttt. I hadn’t heard that until you told me. Thank you, m’dear! That made my day.

    • maretha2

I think she’s thinking, “You’re right, Victoria. I should have gone up a size in this dress.”

  • ok i want that shirt. im a dude but i think i can pull it off. i actually looked up whether we have target stores here in the region (i live in amsterdam) – turns out we dont. but still, well done, marketing team.

  • lobsterlen

    Very cute.
I wonder if the top is descent quality? I often like the designer Target clothes in print/web but in reality the clothes look cheap.

    • I’ve washed that top twice, didn’t put it in the dryer (but I usually don’t with newer clothes), and it’s good.

  • random_poster

The entire line is on the sales/clearance rack at my local store. I don’t know if this shirt, which is quite adorable, was there.

  • I bought that top! It is cute.

    • Vlasta Bubinka

I do love that top and the whole look on her, but the really low jeans???? When did they come back???? Pants that require a waxing… burn it twice and salt it over.

  • jilly_d

from the product shot, I Hate (with a capital H) that top. On her, it’s totally adorable and I want her whole outfit. Casual WERQ!

    • Same here. I also want her waistline and legs to wear with this outfit.

      • filmcricket

That was my feeling too. “Ohmigod, what a cute top, I want it! Oh wait, I’d look like a fat art teacher in it.”

    • Yes – very cute and very well styled to be adorable. It could have gone bad and matronly very easily.

  • marilyn

If she does not have a contractual relationship with Target, they should get right on it. She was wearing the right clothes in the right place.

  • RebeccaKW

This? Perfect. I love clothes like this, that can be easily styled to be casual or more dressy, like for work. And cute as hell, to boot.

  • Very cute, there’s going to be a run on that top.

    • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

Evidently there was. Just for fun, I checked and it is not available online and it is showing not available in any of the local stores here in Dallas.

  • Contralto

That is too cute! Daughter #1 would wear the hell out of that look.

  • Perfect!

  • LaSylphide

Great look, although the smile, the youth, the thin thighs — you know, all the things most of us don’t have — help.

  • siriuslover

She looks adorable and age appropriate, and a great role model for fashionable, but not wealthy teens and tweens who look up to her. Very well done Victoria Justice!

  • Imasewsure

She is a real cutie. Love this look

  • teensmom99

Can we give her extra points for long hair that is not too long?

  • librarygrrl64

  • Samantha Irene

She looks great, and it’s a great look – but – am I the only one who gets really annoyed when celebrities wear the ‘exclusive designer diffusion’ lines – where the quantities of the clothing are so limited, and they all either have the budget or the stylists to put them in real duds? IT drives me up a wall.

  • BrightsideSusan

Immediately clicked over to buy and, of course, sold out. I knew I didn’t see it in the store when I shopped the line with my daughter – oh well.

  • Frank Lithium

Love the hippy upper and the casual chic down portions.

  • How is Victoria Justice not a super heroine name?

  • Who? It is cute.
