Here you go, ladies: Robert Downey Jr. being his Robert-Downey-Jr-est for GQ:
Robert Downey Jr. covers the May 2013 issue of GQ magazine photographed by Peggy Sirota.
On the movie industry: “You get a bit older and you start to see what’s going on backstage in the collective psyche of this ridiculous industry. Everybody is kind of the same. I’m sorry! We’re all just kind of the same. Nothing pleases me more than when somebody who was awe-inspired to be working with me realizes I’m just another schmuck that they’re bored of hanging out with on a set. I love that moment. I like it when that persistent illusion is smashed.”
On what he’s bad at as an actor: “Tons. Everything I avoid. I don’t like opening doors and looking surprised. I can do all that emo stuff, but I’m so over everyone who has to have a meltdown— everybody is emotional all the time. In movies people seem to be more emotional than they would ever be if that situation was actually happening to them.”
On winning an Oscar: “I couldn’t care less.”

Gotta love those sound bites. The pictures? Well… bless his heart. He’s not a fashion person, but at least he brings a ton of personality to them.
