Perry Ellis Spring 2013 Collection

This line seems right up your alley, boys! One of everything for the gents?
Very cute. Love the shoes.
I wish I were more of a spring/summer person. I need a new summer wardrobe since most of my summer clothes are too big now, and I cannot muster up any interest in buying anything short-sleeved. I look at this and all I want are the blazers and the chinos.
I have this problem too. I lost 35 lbs over the winter (and counting), and I am at a loss. I was told Tim Gunn thinks capri pants are the devil’s work, so my larger-lady go-to’s for the spring are no good to me now. If I was a dude, I’d be all over those burgundy pants, though. They rock.
I think it depends on the length of the capri. If it’s mid-calf or higher, it can be aging and unflattering in the “mom jeans” way, but if you get a pair that’s a bit longer (perhaps even buying in “long”) so they’re almost to the ankle, I think they’re a great summer option.
Aah, but you see, I’m short. So “capri” means highwater, really. Maybe I’m okay then? I just can’t stand the idea that when I meet Tim (as my fantasies assure me I will) I might not satisfy his sartorial tastes. Of course, I’d have fair warning in this fantasy, and be dressed to the nines.
Meh. Its not that special, really. Nothing particularly new, inspired or fresh seeming. Its a current issue take on prep wear, which is right up Perry Ellis’ alley.
I’ve always liked Perry Ellis…I say ‘liked’ as in: “I will always like a dependable classic style.”
Love is for edgier designs…but on other people – not me.
That said, if this particular model were in these particular clothes within arms reach of me…I wouldn’t be able to control myself. (And he’s not even a hairy bear.)
Yep, not my normal style either, but he shore is purdy.
I’m supposed to be looking at the clothes right?
That guy is super dorkycute. I am a bit miffed that a professional model apparently only has four or five poses in his arsenal, though.
i was thinking the same thing! he has like 3 go-to moves. change it up!
He’s got all the stereotypical fashion blogger poses down! Having said that, I would totally subscribe to this guy’s blog if he had one.
Eric Bana clone!
Earthshattering? No. Sharp and wearable? Yes!
I dunno, @gabbilevy:disqus – I’m thinking none of those outfits would look remotely good on a guy with a bit of gut…like I have….
Hooray! Saddle shoes! I’m digging that suit in picture #2.
Want the shorts in second to last pic!
Most of this is adorable, but I saw it all two months ago after the winter clearance sale ended in the Men’s department of Macy’s.
Nay to the rolled pant hems.
I like it. It’s got color, but it’s not screaming color at you. I really love that blue plaid blazer.
That blazer’s my favorite too.
I was told that Macy’s owned the label now, so I don’t expect anything innovative. Model is cute though.
Earth shattering? Hardly. But who cares. I love the use of color. Totally wearable stuff.
I find the white soles kinda focus pulling.
This is perfect. So many different people could wear this and look good and stylish.
The various items on the side table are cracking me up. The snake likes the pink pants!
I looooved this collection… and the model!
I love this! Too bad my bf wouldn’t wear any of the bolder colors… But he’d look terrific in the suits, and he’d definitely rock a few of those shirts/t’s.
Dustin Hoffman’s nephew goes to the Hamptons. Right?
The guy seems like an odd choice to model this. Did they just pick a young Hamm-alike? What this collection needs is that actor from Revenge who does the double popped collars.
What is this, 1964?
That’s some classic Perry Ellis, isn’t it?
And it was bad then, too. I have no love for the walking short at all. I am losing patience with the whole sixties revival more and more each season.
Marshall’s Spring 2008….
Right??!! I thought that it looked like Perry Ellis’ designers had visited Kohl’s for inspiration.
Excellent choice in model for this collection.
Love it, but the lamp cord made my eyes twitch!
WHAT THE HELL IS SO INTERESTING ON THE FLOOR STAGE LEFT???
You mean, there could have been an adorable puppy with the adorable man in the adorable clothes?
I kept wondering the same thing, only my mind thought someone had spilled something just past the lamp.
The model is cute. The clothes are nice. Rolled-up pants legs can’t go away fast enough to suit me.
super cute(the guy)
I’ll have one of each delivered to my room.
Golly, he’s a cutie-pie! I am in love — does anyone know his name?
If I were currently dressing a man who’d look good in these clothes, these aren’t the clothes I’d put him in.
I am sure that news will change the course of the Perry Ellis business enterprise not a whit.
All the faces!
I really really wish this no-sock trend would die a slow, painful death. But he’s a cute guy, in cute clothes that don’t really look like they belong on him.
Does he seem shorter than the typical model? I could put him in my pocket! He’s a hot pocket man!
They had me ’til the Bermuda shorts.
I love the plaid shirts and the bright colored pants. Not the bermudas.
Y’all can have the clothes, but I want the model, m’kay?
He’s luscious, clothes are good, love the pattern on that last pair of shorts. Have to say though, I found the styling changes of the table to his right to be more fun than the clothes. That lamp sucks.
what *was* that on the floor to his left?
I kept thinking “Blaine from Glee” “Blaine from Glee” “Blaine from Glee”… So, wardrobe people for Glee, stock ye up.
Wearable and a nice combination of fresh feel with classic pieces. Love.
I’m imagining him say “Hey” in different ways in each picture. “Hey.” “Heyyyyy.” “Hey!”
