It’s pretty, though I’m not really sure why she has a shelf mushroom growing out of her hip…

  • hughman

  • SassBunn

She looks gorgeous, but the color seems a little too on point for the event. She’s blending in to the step and repeat, and it seems a little uncreative to wear Tiffany Blue to a Tiffany event, no?

  • Lovely choice for a lady for her fourth or fifth wedding. Shame about the bodice.

  • janiemary

Bridesmaid moonlighting as a waitress… Or the other way around. Pretty color though.

  • It’s hanging off her nipples, and she perfectly matched the backdrop. Meh.
Where’s Goldie? Goldie is far more fabulous.

  • I can’t decide, prom or bridesmaid?

    • Mary229

      My first thought was bridesmaid.

    • VeryClaire

It’s pretty close to what my 17 yo is wearing to the prom next week (except my daughter’s doesn’t come down that low!)

  • Deedles

Ugh, I hate it when toilet paper gets stuck in my waistband.

  • Lori

If you take off the giant napkin tucked into the waistband for no obvious reason this dress is totally “been there, done that”, right down to the thigh-high slit and the fact that the bodice is sitting way too low.

The color is good on her though. It was way too on-the-nose for this event, but she looks pretty in it.

  • AndresB

Her finger nails look like they suffer from severe depression, perhaps because of that utter bore of a dress which defines ‘unimaginative’ perfectly.

  • unbornfawn

She’s one sneeze away from full nipple exposure. Good thing she has that napkin in her waistband to cover them up quickly when it happens.

  • SugarSnap108

She’ll be dining with Captain Stubing tonight.

  • Cynica

Those nails are completely ridiculous for anyone over the age of 16.

    • decormaven

      Amen and amen.

  • Very prom-y.

    • E. D.

Yes, hate hate HATE the nails.

    • Jennifer Coleman

      Vegas hooker nails.

  • carnush

The color’s too literal for the event. Hate the nails. Stunning jewelry, though.

  • charlotte

She definitely got the memo about the color of the background. Too bad she mistook it for the dress code.

  • Nimble27

Too on the nose with that color. up! up! up!

  • Trisha26

Beautiful but this is like wearing a red gown on the red carpet. Why wear Tiffany blue?

    • drdarke

      She loves being matchy-matchy, @Trisha26?

  • PROM.

  • KayEmWhy

I want attention too mother of the bride.

  • I love the fact that when given access to the Tiffany collection for this event, she obviously said “I’ll wear this ring and those earrings and, oh! this bracelet!” I wonder if they stopped her from wearing a tiara or a jeweled collar to complete the look…

  • Karen Tully

The manicure is absurd. Really very Walmart.

  • Sara__B

She looks so much better in sleek styles with clean lines (like the black gown she wore recently). This looks dated and trying-too-hard to me.

  • Beth513

She looks on the verge of Titastrophe.

  • Snailstsichr

I am resisting the urge to reach through the monitor and yank up her bodice.

  • PinkySlinky

Can’t go to a Tiffany & Co event wearing that color…nope. Never gonna work.

  • It’s a bit too bridesmaid-y for me.

  • VeryClaire

I’m not sure why women think it’s attractive to have their dress hanging that low and emphasizing how low their breasts are. When did high and perky go out of style?

  • hellkell

Tits OR legs, Kate. Not both.

  • kaycem

blends into the background, drag her boobs down way too much, hate the nail art. (that’s not to say that i hate nail art generally — the exact opposite of that, in fact — i just dislike this application of it.)

  • Just another tired old design that has been at every prom, wedding, whatever since the 50’s on!

  • Louise Bryan

She looks good in Tiffany blue. Shame about the actual dress, though, and those scary, hideous nails.

  • Bridesmaid.

  • RedRaven617

This how one should at a Tiffany Ball. Perfect color and lovely jewelry.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

I for one love nail art, but it must be appropriate with what you’re wearing. And that manicure is would be more appropriate with something edgy and dark. She looks lovely.

    • MilaXX

Exactly. She would have been better off with something pale.

  • drdarke

Wow – Daniel from this season’s PROJECT RUNWAY really struck while the iron was hot, didn’t he – ?

Wait – are you sure Daniel didn’t design that dress? It sure looks like something he’d do – “chic banal” is what Zachary Posen called it on the show, and he’s spot-on.

  • If it were any other event, I’d give it a pass, but between the gift-bow belt, dyed to match Tiffany blue color, and the heavy, grabby hand with the borrowed jewels: tacky!

  • MilaXX

Girl those nails do not go with that dress! You have to do a more subtle pinterest nail. I like the dress and the hair, hate the nails, bag & shoes.

  • That’s some Enchantment Under the Sea realness right there.

  • filmcricket

Her figure’s amazing and that’s a good colour on her, but the dress itself is pretty blah, the bodice is sitting way too low, the shoes are heinous, and those nails are just… I cannot even.

  • MissusBee

Shooting for mermaid, wound up with shower curtain. Happens to us all, dear.

  • jetpackdino

Washroom attendant at Tiffany & Co.

  • notterriblybitter

What exactly is the purpose of a resort collection? Obviously it’s not for clothing you would wear to a resort.

    • According to TLo, it’s just summer clothes. If I remember correctly, “spring” means spring, “resort” means summer, “pre-fall” means fall, and “fall” means winter. Oh, fashion.

      • “Plus Size” mean regular size, “Vitamins” means Adderall, and “Energetic” means cokehead. Oh, fashion.

  • Oh good, she got the dress with the matching dinner napkin. That’s like the Hollywood lady version of the Hitchhiker’s Guide towel, right?

  • jmorino08

I would not be able to resist trying to yank that thing up for her if i was there in person. I want to reach through my computer and do it, as is.

  • A M A Z I N G G G G!!!!

  • Jacqueline Wessel

I think it’s nice that the color of the dress is so very Tiffany. But the shoes are awful and so are the nails. Pretty face though.

  • marilyn

Beautiful, even with the falling top. It was nice that she chose a lighter version of Tiffany blue for her dress. She can make anything look classy.

  • schadenfreudelicious

    Tiffany jewels and Pinterest nails….sacrilege!

  • I love a draped chiffon bodice and flowy skirt, but the slit here is dumb and unnecessary and the bodice would not look good on anyone, either with or without a big bust.

  • That is a horrible dress and she looks fantastic in it. Gal knows her color wheel.

  • AceOn6

Lose the slit and the glommed on chiffon at the waist and you’ve got a nice dress

  • copper

I want to like the jewelry but the rings and bracelet are just too heavy, especially with those atrocious nails. Something a little more delicate would look better. And blue dress photographed against almost the same shade of blue background — what was she thinking?!

  • She was California blonde beautiful… and then…those nails. Awful.

  • cowper

    Weird-ass bow.

  • BayTampaBay

Hate the nails but otherwise not bad!

  • myristica_fragrans

this is really pretty except for the nails and what i know is an ugly platform peeking out from under her gown.

    • Anniebet

Aren’t we all so effing tired of those nude platforms? God, they’re hideous and seem to be everywhere, after months and months of offending the universe with their hoof-like monstrosity.

  • Showing the leg is too much on this dress and makes it tacky.

  • demidaemon

She is blending into the backdrop.

    • My first thought! Why would you pick a Tiffany blue gown to wear to a Tiffany event, knowing the high probability that you’d disappear into the decor and especially the backdrop.

  • formerlyAnon

She’s gorgeous, but the slit combined with the fabric makes this look like boudoir attire from the waist down. And the trendy fingernails look tacky with real diamonds.

  • MartyBellerMask

I don’t think the dress really needs that slit.

  • mrspotts66

how about altering the bodice and getting a real manicure?
other than that, i really like it on her.

  • kathrineb

Why am I completely bored by this?

  • Qitkat

So Reem Acra matched the Tiffany blue while RL matched the Tiffany logo blue. Hmmm…
That’s an, uh, interesting nail polish treatment, but I just wanna reach through the screen and yank up that bodice!

  • ccm800

    Jane Seymour…is that you?

  • korilian

Wow! I don’t get the negative comments AT ALL. She’s glowing! This would have been a pretty bland color on a lot of people, but it really compliments her coloring and eyes. Even the backdrop is helping! Gorgeous hair, gorgeous make-up! A complete WERQ!

  • fursa_saida

There is nothing about this that doesn’t bore me.

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

I hate the nails but I think the color is really pretty on her. She’s in her mid thirties, right? (b 1979). Her hair is nice too. OK, the bodice needs a re-fit.

  • DebbieLovesShoes

    Pinterest nails. ’nuff said.

  • ankali

I find her boring, and the dress isn’t helping. I will, however, give her all the credit in the world for not Angelina-ing that leg.

  • hideously boring clutch and shoes. the only interest here is those diamonds!

  • AnotherJulie

She’s adorable, nails are hideous, dress is more expensive version of every bridesmaid dress I was forced to buy…….

  • Sad boobs, sadder shoes.

  • librarygrrl64

Pretty color and silhouette on her, but it sits too low in the bust, and I think the slit is too high. The shoes and manicure need to be burned.
