    Peach Sorbet Chic…except not.

  • MsOlympia

She sure has been Hollywood-ized since her “Pieces of You” days.

  • Kenisha Hill Phillips

    Creamsickle Realness

  • Patricia Gillett

Pageanty. I wish she had worn the cape to diva it up a little and add interest.

    • i preferred it w/the cape too…

    • MoHub

The cape absolutely makes the look.

    • gabbilevy

Went from being a kind of cool dress to Hollywood drag standard.

      • drdarke

Yeah – nice from the side, but from the front? Ew-yuck! It doesn’t help that her idea of a straight-on pose makes me think she’s ready to take a swing at someone.

Is it me, or are most of these country women incapable of picking and wearing formalwear well? I saw better looking women at my high school prom – and that was in the mid-Seventies!

In this case, Edna Mode is wrong – Definitely a cape is needed here!

    • the cape was the most interesting bit.

  • Sara__B

Pretty, and very appropriate for the venue. Even so, I wish she’d done her hair differently.

  • MilaXX

Is it wrong that I miss her snaggle tooth? I liked the little imperfection.

    • Mismarker

I miss it, too. Though, can’t fault her for fixing something she has perhaps been self conscious about since childhood. Kind of like SJP and her mole?

    • She looks like a Real Housewife of Who Really Gives a Fuck now. She used to be so quirky and cute.

    • Kristy Evans

She still has it; she’s just bleached her teeth.

  • geans

Eight-year-old-me would have diiiiied over this dress. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.

  • Jessi03

Jewel stole one of Alaska’s rattier wigs.

  • Mismarker

Ain’t gonna lie…this is what I look like in my dreams. Work it, Jewel.

  • She looks a bit orange and generic. And I wish she’d kept the capey thing.

  • Not my favorite color for her — her bronzer makes her look peachier than the dress — but she looks really pretty. Not too overdone… just really nice for a gal who’s out of the spotlight and has been for some time now.

  • Tatiana Luján

    She became Hayden Panettiere.

  • AlisonS

It works for the venue and event but I am not sure that it works for the person wearing it. Although after “Intuition” she got all flashy didn’t she?

  • Do you think she yodeled for the talent portion of the pageant?

  • It just looks like someone went crazy with the cake icing.

  • shes wearing it well enough, but i just dont like this dress… or the whole look shes going for here.

if this was a movie featuring a scene on the red carpet, shed be one of the extras standing in the background.

  • jetpackdino

What I love about this dress is what it’s doing for her boobs. From that side photo it’s clear that she *has* serious WMD’s, but she also appears to be adequately–not perfectly, but close–supported and covered. I don’t worry that she’s spilling out, I don’t wanna yank the dress up. So from me, I say braVO. Those tits are great.

    • Sara L.

Did she always have those, or are they a recent acquisition? They are spectacular.

      • ballerinawithagun

She has always been busty for her frame. The support in this dress is fabulous!

      • urbanamish

she’s all plastic. had a few different versions, too.

  • Peaches & Cream Barbie. The stole would have pushed it over the line. Not sure if that would be good or bad (probably good).

  • Beverly Kozma

She looks fantastic despite the dress.

  • PastryGoddess

Well she’s certainly dressed right for the ACM’s.

  • Too monochromatic. Everything (except for her hair) is orange.

  • JasmineAM

At first glance, I thought she was Carmen Electra.

  • B_C_J

    Pageant dress

  • Diego!

Glamazon, but her skin make up is getting into Xtina Aguilera’s Orange color… O_O

  • crash1212

I think she looks great. It’s a pretty dress in a flattering color, it’s appropriate for the venue and event. Love the not-quite-country hair and her make-up is perfect. What’s not to like? It’s Jewel at the Country awards.

  • Carly Warnock

I feel like this really isn’t her style normally so it’s odd seeing her like this. She looks good though, country singer realness.

  • Trisha26

She looks very, very pretty, tastefully sexy and country all the way even in that gown.

  • The whole look is so BLAH…I mean, if she’d kept the cape/train thing and done something interesting with her hair, I’d have liked it. As it is, she looks like salmon dip.

  • ZnSD

Girl, you made that dress look CHEAP.

  • titaness25

Where’s the sweetie-wrapper cape??? EVERYTHING should have a sweetie-wrapper cape.

  • ccm800

kinda perfect – she dun age!

  • LaSylphide

Pretty dress, and she looks good in it, but where’s the floaty thingy?

  • Ticks all the right boxes but not very memorable.

  • Anniebet

Gorgeous dress! For some reason that color just hits my sweet spot, although she really didn’t need to try to match her skin tone to it.

The floaty cape thingy would probably be a bit too sophisticated for a country music award event. :p

  • mhleta

Standard “Real House Wives” wear and hair. She can do so much better.

  • carnush

She has not aged a day since 1995.

  • cleep1000

    She looks damn good.

  • Iroqhard

Awww, she had her spray tan to match the dress! How cute!
