Lovely, but why is she holding her head up like that?

      • Sobaika

        Ginnifer Goodwin School of Posing.

      • Watts

She sometimes has a tremendous overbite. Perhaps she’s trying to compensate?

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Damned near perfect, even with the white shoes.

      • editrixie

I think so too! There’s something fabulously early-mid ’70s about having white shoes with a graphic dress like that. It reminds me of stuff I saw that I wanted to emulate when I was a kid, but of course wasn’t grown up enough to do.

    • Patricia Gillett

      She needs new hair people.

      • gabbilevy

        It’s pretty bad.

      • disqussant

Yeah, I get that a more sleek hairdo would’ve made the overall look too hard, but they went too far in the other direction. The hair looks frizzly and frazzly, not soft.

    • http://twitter.com/AlexPalombo Alex Palombo

Roksanda seems to be hit or miss – I like this one (and the shoes with it) a LOT. Very springy.

    • teensmom99

Her hair is great in profile. I hate white shoes almost as much as I love her. Not the best look but she makes it work (but not WERQ).

    • http://twitter.com/ashleynalvarez Ashley Alvarez

I think she looks like sorbet, in a great way.

      • Guest

I don’t like sherbet! Tastes like perfume!

      • charlotte

My first thought was “Yay, ice cream!” so I guess I agree with you.

      • drdarke

Yes she does, @twitter-74301651:disqus – it’s a nice cool stylish but breezy look, and she’s rocking it. Even the white heels fit it perfectly….

    • jetpackdino

I am in love with that pink ring! Pretty.

    • oldbobbydraper

very lovely. i like the jewelry choices a lot.

    • http://profiles.google.com/adj.blair Adriana Blair

Is this going to be her thing? Cute outfit with awful hair?

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gaby

VERY cute. She looks like she should be an ad for a resort. Everything’s working for me here.

    • Sara__B

The dress? Striking, and perfectly fitted. The jewelry? Lovely. Hair and shoes? Not good. Her chin-pointed-up pose? Really strange.

      • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

Especially with the slouchy shoulders. She needs to learn how to pose.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=610791985 Aniela Marie Perry

This really makes me crave Brach’s jelly nougat.

      • MikeW_Vegas

I haven’t had that in YEARS!!! and you’re right that’s exactly what she looks like.. (just needs a spot of purple for the grape)

    • alyce1213

Very good dress for her, soft-looking and easy on the eyes.
I don’t like the hockey puck shoes.
      Nice rings and tasteful manicure.
I like the idea of her hair, but it looks ratty from the front, better from the back. It could be more polished.
She needs to work on her posture for the RC.

    • Catiline

I love that dress, but can’t help thinking that pink swoosh goes across her hips at a very unflattering place.

      • In_Stitches

It the dress that you see in the store and love and can’t wait to try on and then….oh? Well, that’s a disappointment.

    • http://www.facebook.com/darva.sutra Darva Sutra

Super-cute look, love the dress and really dig the jewelry (covet) hair and makeup. One quibble for me are the platforms on those pumps. Close to WERQ!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=14301272 Kate Gorton

She and Cobie Smulders should just share wardrobes. I thought this was her for a second!

    • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Quite nice. I love the rings, especially the pink, and for once, I don’t hate the white shoe. In fact I think this particular shoe is the perfect choice.

    • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

Fab earrings. I was hoping they were padparadscha but I reckon probably tourmaline. Bad hair, bad shoes, and the dress makes me want raspberry ripple ice cream, but that’s no crime.

      • Qitkat

You win the google search of the day :)

        • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

Padparadscha? I spent quite some time trying to persuade my husband to get me one for my engagement ring. Totally backfired, got a laptop instead.

          • Qitkat

Did you bookmark an image page of the gem? Because that would be so satisfying >>:((

            • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

              Just burnt into my retinas.

    • mshesterp

Hmm…I guess I’m alone in thinking this washes her out. I’m fair and pink-y, and I try to avoid creams and dusty rose, so maybe that’s my bias. It’s just a little blah to me.

      • MilaXX

I agree, on an olive skin tone or darker this would be great. On Jessica it’s just “meh”

      • Little_Olive

Especially because the shoes failed to punctuate the outfit, the eyes are too lined and the lip color is weak and terrible.

      • 3boysful

I agree with you. The only thing I like is the pink ring. Shoes are esp fug.

    • TSkot

Cute dress that loses its appeal on a curvier gal.

    • MilaXX

Hate the hair, hate the shoe, dress is okay

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I love this dress, and I even think the shoes are fine! She needs to stop slouching, though.

    • Lori

Holy crap, I hate those shoes. Platform pumps need to go away.

      • http://onionjam.tumblr.com SkipperJane

That was my first thought too – she’s tall already, those shoes are just unnecessary.

      • patticake1601

Agreed! Kelly Rippa wears these almost everyday on her show. She has them in white, cream, black and red. I hate them so much!

    • Qitkat

What a sharp dress; I love the color elements and the way they are thoughtfully placed. Beautiful pink ring too.

    • MGMcD

Great jewelry but otherwise meh. The shape is ok but doesn’t do great things for her figure, and I think she looks better in more vibrant colors. This is just sort of blah.

    • decormaven

Something about the graphics and coloring in the dress remind me of a 1970s airlines logo. That’s one gorgeous pink ring.

    • TheAmericaness

On the WERQ scale of 1 – 11, you actually might start to hear the first little bars here and there in the 0-1 area. The white shoes actually look good and everything looks fresh and lovely. I like that she didn’t pull her hair tight or do some sort of long braid. Very nice.

    • http://twitter.com/omg_dora Dora K.

I’ll have some of that vanilla-strawberry-mango ice cream, please. Yum!

    • shanna bowie

      Want.It.All!!

    • http://dentsdelait.tumblr.com/ Nancy Marion

Love the dress—it reminds me of an old Marüschka print of a sailboat I had as a kid. But I HATE those damn shoes.

    • Melanie

I think she looks gorgeous. I especially love the profile shot and the jewelry.

    • MarissaLG

She’s one of those women who would have to work REALLY hard to make a dress look bad.

      Very pretty indeed!

    • http://twitter.com/lisledanielle Danielle Lisle

Props for not reaching for silly putty shoes, I guess.

    • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

I was about to say that I don’t mind this look as a whole (like the dress, hate the hair, the shoes would be fine if not for those stupid platforms). Then I saw the BODY GLITTER, which tipped the scales into “no” territory.

    • http://thishotoldbroad.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

I really like this dress. The texture is great, and I think she looks great. Meh on the shoes, but I really don’t like that kind of platform shoe.

    • Imasewsure

I officially hate white pumps of all kinds, even when they might be the right choice for an outfit!!

    • BrooklynBomber

Well, I like it better on the model (I like it a lot on the model). I think it needs to be a little loose and straight for the design to have the right impact. The pink ring is kind fab, though.

      • conniemd

It’s interesting how dresses with angled color blocking will hang the color blocks differently on women with boobs than on flat models. It’s a very rich looking dress, however.

        • BrooklynBomber

It’s funny, too, because she’s so slender, but the dress clings to her shape; it looks like a different dress the way it hangs on the model.

    • Kristy Evans

I can NOT with those shoes. But the dress is gorgeous.

    • http://www.lippsisters.com/ Deborah Lipp

I was there. She looked staggeringly good. I hate the shoes.

    • Beth513

Yes, OK, this will do nicely.

    • http://twitter.com/lolacestmoi Lola Channing

The ladies of “Mad Men” are experiencing afterjolts of the hideous shoe convention. And what’s with the donut hair? yesterday, helmet, today, donut. You are still fabulous Ms. Paré.

    • kikisayshi

This dress is doing her no favors and her hair looks like shit.

    • http://www.facebook.com/conysoledad Constanza Álvarez Espinoza

I love the whole look, except the plataform of the shoes.

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

I’m ready for the white shoe trend to be over.

    • LaSylphide

Did she gain 30 pounds in the past couple of hours? Very unflattering dress.

    • formerlyAnon

Borderline WERQ. If it was in a better-for-her color combination, it’d push it over. Or maybe even if the hair were more imipressive. In any case, think this is 500 million thousand percent better on her than that green-ish blue-ish turquoise dress with gold trim she was shown in yesterday. Love the matchy pink ring.

    • LambeeBaby

      LOVE! Except for the shoes

    • butterflysunita

She is selling that dress way better than the model.

    • http://twitter.com/amndad amanda lynn

Why…. why did she do that? No makeup? Awful hair? The posing with the head back?

      Oh for goodness sake. Hippy.

    • ankali

      Adorable!

    • Aurumgirl

I love the bare, buffed nails. I’m already very tired of the exploding, 3 dimensional, headache-inducing manicures that are taking over everything. I think she looks great here.

    • NiseiShonagon

The dress I can take or leave but I covet those rings.

Also, she has a lovely neck, but she shouldn’t work it that hard. It looks like something’s on the verge of getting irreversibly torqued.

    • poggi

I think her hair looks better in this messy pulled back style than it did the other day in the the super sleek one. Plus I just like when actresses look like they have texture to their hair instead of blowing and ironing out all the curl and wave.

    • lalahartma

I think it makes her look kinda thick.

    • http://www.facebook.com/abby.t.tucker Abby Turner Tucker

She needs a do over on the hair and shoes and the dress is just kind of….meh. Not her best look.

    • librarygrrl64

This is great on her, but I really wish the white pumps would go away and stay away.
