From the ensembles featured here, this looks like it was quite a boring party.
Elegant and pretty. She has great eyebrows.
That is how you do revealing, sexy, sheer!
Very pretty. Would it kill GPaltrow to put her hair up like this once in a while?
Girl, I don’t know who you are but you are shutting it down. And killing it. And I want your eyebrows.
She’s a model, and i covet those eyebrows too
That is just perfection.
so this event was clearly this week’s snoozefest for fashion. and so somebody Ive never heard of came in and showed all these RC pros how its done.
Very pretty. How many women were loaned jewelry by Tiffany? How do I get in that line?
I like to think that it was like supermarket sweep and they let them all in at the beginning and they had to dash around and grab what they could. Which would account for the windswept hair and wrinkled frocks on most of them.
Oh, that is lovely. Well done, girl!
I’m gonna be cranky and wish her belly button weren’t visible. It would otherwise be such an elegant look.
Oh, now this, I like.
@hilaryhrhoda is slaying!
Why is this not a WERQ?
For those who don’t know who she is: Hilary Rhoda is one of the top models during the period mid 2000s. She was extremely in high demand during the times of Gemma Ward, Vivian Orth, Natasha Poly, Anja Rubik, Coco Rocha, Isabel Fontana, etc. One of the more memorable on high fashion runways was when Hilary modeled one of Versace’s sexy blue slit dresses, and she just walked the hell out of it.
And yes, this is a goddamn WERQ as far as I’m concerned.
Demonstrating that a professional model knows how to show off clothes the right way. Lots of actresses do a very good job much of the time, but they are clearly just talented amateurs next to a specialist. Ms. Rhoda is rocking this with every ounce of herself.
Also, I am inordinately charmed by the little sunspots on her chest (probably because I have them, too). Professional pretty people (models, actors) always look better for the bits that show they didn’t come out of a superhuman breeding program.
Thanks to Anna Wintour super models are now only known in the industry, but not as fashion icons anymore…Kate maybe the last one so to speak. Love Miss Rhoda’s look here and call it a professional WORK moment, not really a WERQ, well, because it is her job.
Too much train but not bad! One snap up!
I’m shouting “WERQ!!” at the screen.
Very close to a WERQ. She could have done more with the hair – still up but not so pulled-back-in-a-hurry looking.
But overall, it’s not her fault it’s not a WERQ, it’s the dress or the skill of whomever pressed and dressed her – I don’t like the seemingly rumpled way the fabric lies in those sweeps coming down from the neckline, or the very visible seam at the side of the dress between knees and floor. I suspect that in person those wouldn’t stand out so much and I might call a WERQ.
The dress is pretty and dramatic, but the hair and makeup are painfully underwhelming.
Serving Cersei Lannister face realness here.
This is a killer gown and she’s WERQ’ing it…but I’m so freaking distracted by those little peeps of lining I keep getting! And the big pile of it in the train makes me want to die.
Was everyone contractually required to wear blue to this??
She looks stunning. I love that dress and she looks like she loves it too.
She looks quite beautiful, but I am distracted by the white frou-frou on the train of the gown, which seems unnecessary.
But what I would kill for are those eyebrows. Perfection.
I agree, the gown was perfection until the extremely distracting white ruffles.
You would think a top model would know that giant white granny panties would show up under flash. Next time go for the nude color.
I had a bit of a double take at that picture too….but I think it’s just the white layer of fabric that is part of the dress (see the train)
gorgeous, but would someone explain to me why TIffany is hosting a party named after the thing you use to figure out the re-sale value of your car (Kelley’s Blue Book), which is also the name of something used by law students?
WERQ. This is perfection.
Wins the Tiffany poledance.
“Cover girl, put your face in that walk…”
i’d like to see models’ fashions here as often as other celebs; this post is a good example of why!
This is the first time in a long time I’ve looked at someone and just thought, UGH, I HATE HER FOR LOOKING THAT GOOD. I don’t even know.
Yes, love the eyebrows but did she miss her hair appointment? DYI?
Gorgeous. The bodice and the back are especially stunning. And thank you for a simple, elegant updo!
If they ever do a Caroline Kennedy biopic, Hilary should have the lead. Those are Kennedy teeth for sure!
She looks stunning, and she shows off the gown like the pro she is.
The eyebrows alone are DIVINE. Great look.
Posture to die for. That’s a professional model for ya!
I’m concerned about the sun damage spots on her chest.
