Ehhh – it’s like Chloe Moritz’s Denim Dress. It’s neither an IN nor an OUT – it’s fine, but it’s not great.

    It’s just – there…..

  • Bedazzled funeral frock.

    • Imasewsure

Yes…day time, minor Head of State funeral frock

  • I think it’s rather pretty. I do feel it could use some color somewhere.

    • mshesterp

Me too–just don’t care for the shoes. But the dress is tasteful and flattering.

      • H2olovngrl

How do celebs walk around in pumps that are clearly too large on them?

  • For a long moment I thought this was January Jones, and had to scroll back up when I realized it was just someone with an eerie ambience of JJ. Basically, I noticed when I noticed the lack of primo bitchface.
As for this one: boring, a little dowdy, and desperately in need of a pop of color and a little hair-zhuzhing.

    • I was thinking she could play Betty’s long-lost younger sister on Mad Men.

  • I like it, though some color in her shoes would have made a better impact. Man, her eyes are striking. I wish she’d go back to the Pitch Perfect red hair.

    • zenobar

“This ginger needs her jiggle juice!”

    • gracedarling

Yes! It suited her so well I did a bit of a double take here to make sure it was the same person.

  • Boring. Especially wth a black background.

  • Deb Oswald

How are her feet not falling out of those shoes?

  • CPK1

too long, wrong shoes, but I like it from the waist up

  • You’re not fierce enough for that dress (channeling Addison DeWitt).

  • Anybody else getting an “Office Party” vibe from this? its all so very,….proper looking.

    • Meg0GayGuys6

Yea, I thought the same thing. I usually love Naeem Kahn, but this looks pretty basic. A dress like this can be found at just about any dept store.

    • schadenfreudelicious

and let’s hope she doesn’t have one too many at the office party or she will be stumbling right out of those shoes!, another member of the “too large shoe club”…

      • She will just stumble to the closest chair, and in an inebriated ladylike way, sit down.

        • schadenfreudelicious

🙂 with one shoe dangling provocatively off her toe…

    • Funkykatt

Yeah, I don’t come here to see office wear, I can see that any time. No more!!

    • musicandmochi

Yes. For the most part I like it, save the black-on-black-on-black and the too-slick hair. But I’m thinking she was trying not to dress too “crazy,” for obvious reasons. 😛

  • Sobaika

Pretty. A little too ladylike, if you know what I mean – she could stand to have more fun with her clothes and the red carpet.

  • RuthGo

I love this whole look. To me its the epitome of ladylike.

  • PastryGoddess

Who is she? The name sounds familiar, but I can’t place her.

I agree with others that this looks like office party wear. It’s all just a bit too composed and neat. Maybe it’s because of her lack of personality in that outfit.

    • l v

She was in Pitch Perfect, Hairspray, John Tucker Must Die, and the show American Dreams (sadly canceled) to name a few things.

      • PastryGoddess

        Hairspray! ahem-New Hairspray

        • l v

Haha yes, New Hairspray… Actually found her to be one of the only improvements. Old-Hairspray Amber made my eye twitch.

  • sablehunter

Box this up and send it to Shelly-O

    • conniemd

That was my thought. She really wears Naeem Khan well and his clothes are appropriate for her venues. It’s not a movie premier dress, but lots of events that Shelly O could easily wear it to.

  • I will never like anything about her. I was her waitress once in 2009 and she was the rudest person I’ve ever met.

Also her feet look like they’re about to fall out of her shoes.

  • Nice dress but the shoes are to much boring thats all, compare her with the model and you’ll see that the shoes make the díference

  • I thought it was Naomi Watts at first.

  • Imasewsure

The length and the boring shoes ruin this for me. It’s fine but nothing beyond office party as noted already

  • It’s pretty enough, but a bit… boring.

  • SugarSnap108

Kind of prim, dontcha think? Her eyes are gorgeous, though.

  • CCAdams

Brittany Snow is certainly maturing with grace.

I think this is an interesting red carpet choice.

However, is there a reason her shoes appear to be at least a size too large?

Also, her feet and legs would have looked so much better had she worn hose.

  • Dam_Angel

Brittany Snow is 27 years old!! What did you guess-42?

    • MilaXX

Oy, then I change my mind, I hate no idea she was that young.

  • Kristy Evans

It’s like a reverse inkblot test.I see…too big shoes. But the dress is cute.

  • anotherkate

Naeem Khan seems like an unnecessarily mature designer for her. Also, I have just this second learned that I don’t like d’orsay heels with a round toe. Newly discovered opinions!

  • MilaXX

Nice look but I hate the shoes, especially since they are too big.

  • ccm800

She’s the Brittany that didn’t matter to me. She just never registered on my radar at all.

  • crash1212

Those bunion airing shoes are a big miss. Pretty dress…not sure she’s wearing it well though. Meh.

  • Boring. I am so bored with these overembellished dresses.

  • stubbornthoughts

Nice dress but far too aging on her.

  • nannypoo

It looks like a skeleton costume. She’s pretty but she always looks so prissy. Hate the shoes.

  • titaness25

“I’m grown up and serious and am on my way to pick up my 2.5 sprogs in my high-end mini-van.”

  • marilyn

Shoes way too big. I am surprised she is not falling all over the place. I think the dress is a little long for her. She looks like a 1960’s mom going out to dinner. She looks okay, just not special. I hate to think of how much that dress costs.

  • WTF is with the huge size shoe? Awful….get it together girl….don’t you own a black sandal????

  • Dress is very meh!

  • Really pretty dress but could have used more exciting shoes.

  • Nonmercisansfacon

Not going to lie, I didn’t read the caption and my brain has been addled by Game of Thrones. Until the second picture, I thought I was looking at a cleaned-up Brienne of Tarth.

  • TheAmericaness

I hate to say this, but this dress has that mature lady dress shop feel to it. You know, the ones you always find in seaside resorts and towns as you drive along on your vacation. Maybe not the color so much, but that design. I just don’t like the dress. It feels oddly inappropriate for anything, though I’m sure it’s appropriate for plenty of things. Shoes? They match. I almost said I liked the shoes on the model until I saw that they were platforms, so I dutifully snapped the rubberband I keep around my wrist for when I make mistakes like that. 😀

  • Betty Draper-Francis ?

  • jetpackdino

    Dang, I love it.

More and more I am betraying my roots around here… I like prim, proper, pilgrim-y, black-and-white. Yep, I was raised by religious zealots.

  • Alyssa

I really like her hair like this…

  • mhleta

This dress against the black backdrop has the weird effect of making her look like an assortment of disembodied limbs. Again, are they sent an image of the back drop before they dress for the event? Because it really matters. I’d also like to understand how one walks in shoes that are sizes too big without looking like a clown. It’s a pervasive practice that I’ve never understood.

  • kathrineb

I wont say what image I saw in the embellishments. The shoes are massive on her hehe
