Tory Burch Fall 2013 Collection shoes adorned with golden dragonflies.

The 2 pairs with them up the back aren’t so bad. I imagine from the back, they are hiddy, though. The mermaid scales and the strappy pair are pretty…well, they are ugly, with or without the dragonflies.
Ooooh! I want them all!
Nay! They are interesting, but I would not wear them.
the bootie is hot. the rest sadly are not.
Pretty in one way, kind of adolescent in another.
Yay! & Yea! Probably the most artistically interesting design Tory has done since her signature tunics.
Louis XIV would have approved. Definitely his brother Philippe.
Nay. Not for me.
They are pretty, to be sure…but aren’t dragonflies as accessories overdone at this point? Like dolphins in the ’90s?
What would be the ’80s animal?
Unicorns (at least for the pre-teen/early teen set)
Oooh! That’s right!
And owls in the seventies…
Shit, owls right now are overdone…
It’s a revolving door at the zoo!
I remember koalas being cool.
Just trying too hard to “brand” some not so unique designs.
Nay. The first one could have been worn by Harvey Keitel in “Taxi Driver.” The last one is pretty, but the whole “Dragonfly” motif is sort of done, isn’t it?
They (the dragonflies) seem like an afterthought.
The one I thought most evoked “dragonfly” to me was the first pair. The colors and iridescence made me think of dragonflies. The little embellishments actually do not evoke dragonflies nearly as we’ll in spite of their literalness.
CLUNK. So heavy and gaudy.
I MUST HAVE THAT FIRST PAIR. I wants it, precious!
I like the dragonflies themselves, but the shoes are an abomination to eyes and feet everywhere.
These shoes are tired and derivative — the chunky-heeled loafer has been done by much better designers in recent years (YSL (pre-Slimane), Marc Jacobs, Celine), in more modern fabrics, and sans tacky dragonflies.
I’m really excited for the disappearance of the ‘stripper shoe’ but now I’m hating the prospect of going back to that mid-90′s chunky old lady heel.
Aw, I have fond memories of that heel. Of course, I worked on my feet back then, so I needed whatever support I could get. Of these, I like the strappy heel & the blue velvet, but not enough to make a BFD out of it.
Wow, without the dragon fly embellishments I’d want half of these, but they’re too literal as is.
YAY! I want every pair
I like the aesthetic, but my Achilles tendons would not thank me. The burgundy shoe is cute though – maybe for an event that required me to walk ten feet and then sit down for the rest of the time.
I think these are fun. Kind of love all of the bedazzled shoes/booties but the sandals are my favorites. Just need the right celebutant to rock these properly
I am – and I surprise myself here – giving these a “yea”!
Likey like like. These are unique but also look like something I could actually work into wearing in my day-to-day life. Not something I’d buy and never have the special occasion to wear.
While I’m happy to see less of the massive platform stripper shoes, I’m not sure this is an improvement.
Yea to the last pair, nay to the rest.
Get thee on my feet!
I like everything about them… but the dragonflies… semi-yea?
yea. I love them.
Bo-ring! Fits right in with all her other sorority girl crap.
I don’t like the clunky heel, but other than that I love the concept.
Teal booties for me, otherwise nay.
Are they part of the Great and Powerful Oz promotion? The jewel tones would fit right in!
I like the mid-late 90s proportions (good for those of us who don’t look well in a stiletto) but the dragonfly stuff is too trendy.
These look cheap and poorly thought out for a lower-range luxury brand. They also don’t look “Tory Burch” at all.
The dragonflies are too literal. But whack 1-2 inches off the heel, take me back 25 years to when I could actually wear a ladylike shoe (pre-foot surgery and arthritis), and then yes, I like the colors and shapes. Will someone ever, ever, do a media piece about how one is supposed to dress fashionably when one has to wear ‘supportive’ footwear just to be able to ambulate in even the most limited way?
Sorry…that mini-rant has been building for a while.
After, count them, 9 foot surgeries, and now a condition caused by my collapsed right arch that has resisted treatment since August, I both resemble and appreciate that remark.
Oh, 9! I’m sorry! I’m at 5 and hopefully holding it there, but my left mid-foot/lower ankle is fusing…
I bet between the two of us we have a junkyard’s worth of metal in our feet.
Only one piece of metal, but lots of shortened toes and scars.
I dread the approach of summer, when there are no good shoe choices, unless I dress like a demented person with a clog fetish…that’s bad enough that I have to attempt to make birkenstocks look fetching.
I’m jealous. I may never be able to wear a sandal again.
Thank you for the reminder to be grateful. Here’s to just being mobile, conscious, breathing, and able to enjoy TLo.
I’m not a Tory Burch fan, but these are Louis XIV fabulous! I especially love the second and last pairs.
For such a pretty (if gaudy) idea, they could stand to be a lot less clunky and ugly.
Some of these would work for me with pants…long pants. The heels would work because they’re not so tilty-stilty but not, for me, with anything but slacks.
Narrow the heal and take the dragonflies off and I’d be down, but I can’t sign off on such a chunky heal. They look heavy.
probably nay, but can never say for sure until I see the shoe on a foot and with an outfit….preferably the right outfit. They look kind of heavy and clunky, and a bit on the Victorian side.
If you must embellish with a dragonfly to signal your inspiration, then nay.
I love that first pair. I want to buy them just so I can put them on, click my heels together three times, and see where they’ll take me.
Dragonflies weren’t the inspiration for these heavy clunkers (for the most part). Pictures of dragon flies…may be….but the real thing are light and airy and (for lack of a word) gauzy. Not metallic, much less cast metal.
Oh, well, didn’t expect much.
The third and he last are beautiful… the rest? mmmmm….
YAY! I love the first and last pairs.
These are awesome because I love gaudy stuff, but I’m sadly aware they would just go heavy and over-the-top on me. Takes a particular person to wear stuff like this.
Nay. Her stuff always skews too much in favor of old lady fug to me.
I love the last one.
I feel like I ought to like them more than I do.
This is the same lady that said blue and orange don’t go together when she was a (awful) judge in season seven, right?
Holy crap! Shoes that I can actually walk in? And I want #1 and #4 in my collection now.
YEA. I’ll take 2, 3, & 4. Even though I’d last maybe 45 minutes unless walking and standing were optional.
Why do I seem to be the only one who thinks these things are FUGLY?
Right there with you!
NO NO NO.
I’m going to have to go with NO on these.
That last pair will be mine.
Love the first and the third. The rest are all right, but the skinny straps and chunky heel combo on the last one looks weird.
Nay. Don’t like the chunky monkey heels.
I would be drooling all over these if it weren’t for the actual, literal dragonflies on them. The textures and colors would have been enough (except the black ones. The dragonflies can stay there.)
LOVE! An enthusiastic Yea!
I adore what this show does to one’s gait. Makes us all look werk it. Yay.
Oh hell yeah, baby!
I want the blue ones. Just because.
You put a dragonfly on anything, and I go weak in the knees!!
Is it just me, or do all of these but the third one look a little cheap? In any case, satin covered chunky heels do nothing for me.
I’m not usually moved by shoes, and I love these. Yea.
I love dragonflies, but these all look very Etsy to me.
Big ol’ NAY. I only somewhat like the bootie. And take that damn dragonfly off the heel.
I’m having inappropriate thoughts about the first and third pairs.
omg i love YEA and i will take the 1st and 3rd pair please
I’m not wild about the dragonfly metal applique or whatever that is on the back of each heel, but other than that I think they’re very chic and interesting.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. So fashiony.
i want them i want them i want them
the dragonflies add NOTHING
There seems to be no point to the dragonflies. Way different than the bird shoes you posted about later.
yea! Pretty fab.
The dragonflies can go hang, I want the pair made out of dragon scales.
hi! can you guys pls help me locate these tory burch dragonfly shoes, must have!
Yea . I bought the black and blue
