      Tacky.

      • Vlasta Bubinka

I don’t know who she is, but she looks older than 20.  And that dress is serving up pure slutty ice skater realness.

    • Introspective

“missguided”???? the jokes just write themselves dont they.

      • MikeW_Vegas

I was just coming to write the same thing!

    • Susan Collier

V is for Vagina. Y? Because I like you!

      • mjude

        to damn funny!

      • MoHub

And notice that the runway version has the point higher and not right at the good china.

        • H3ff

Is that Carmen Carrera modelling the “runway” version?

Unconventional materials challenge: Wrapping paper and electrical tape uniform for a spaceflight attendant.

    • http://twitter.com/judie_hairchik Judie Tallman

Such a sweet girl! I worked with her when she was younger and she really is a nice person. I wish her all the best.

    • Annabelle Archer

      Misguided, indeed.

    • homofascist

I would criticize but I am pretty sure I wore a silver sequined button up shirt on my 20th birthday…

      • homofascist

Which is still hanging in my closet almost 17 years later.

        • StellaZafella

           Your only 37 sweetie…you’re excused…

I had to burn most of my wardrobe from the 70′s and I was old enough to have known better then!

As for Victoria’s outfit here…well a clothing designed called “Misguided” should have been her first clue.

        • Janet B

I had a silver top when I was 20 too. Thankfully it’s long gone (I think).

        • formerlyAnon

You guys are making me feel MUCH better about the shiny (SHINY) electric blue mini dress I once regularly wore over black palazzo pants. Belted with a shiny black, blue & gold metallic bugle-beaded obi-style sash. With black platform sandals in some weird fuzzy faux suede.

    • http://twitter.com/janedonuts Jane Donuts

The Kardashians called. They want their dress back.

    • urbanamish

what a tasteful way to emphasize your genitalia.

    • Snailstsichr

You can see the stitching on the hem! My home ec teacher is rolling in her grave.

      • E. D.

Mine too – hello blind hem stitch!

        • MoHub

Even my cheapo Sears machine could blind stitch a hem if I was to lazy to do it by hand.

          • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ZBFH32YG44LIIZYLSQPMBXMYCU Sarah

She is a tiny person, so the dress was probably too long, and someone in her world used one of those handheld “sewing machines” with WHITE THREAD *gasp* to hem it to her height, thus blunting the chevron. If you have to alter a slutty dress to fit you, you should at least realize at that point that it isn’t worth it, methinks.

      • decormaven

Is Missguided a new label for KMart? You usually see such detailing there.

      • l_c_ann

Because nobody knows how to use a clear thread or at the very worst, a black thread, much less adjust the thread tension.

      • barbarienne

YES! More than the tacky/slutty factor, that visible stitching said to me that the dress is kinda cheap.

    • Indovina

Sometimes I think you two just find pictures of random people under 25, make up a fake name, and claim they’re famous.

Anyway, I’m not a fan of this look.

      • Kate4queen

if you had a 10 yr old daughter, you’d know all about Victoria :), she has a fair pair of lungs on her and belts out those Nickleodeon hits like a winner.

        • Indovina

Oh. Now that you mention it, I do know, vaguely, who she is. And, embarrassingly enough, not having children has not stopped me from being familiar with some children’s TV stars.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000393765005 Garcia Loca

She’s young, talented, and gorgeous. There’s no need to wear a dress with a huge arrow pointing to her hoo-ha.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1360913487 Amanda Herriott Welliver

That’s so Pretty Woman. (and not the red velvet ball gown, either.)

      • Alyssa

All she needed was a pair of hooker boots & the costume is complete!

    • Imasewsure

I don’t hate it because she is really young and it’s tacky-fun … a bit tighter and shorter on her than on the model but doesn’t even come close to Kardashian levels of tacky tacky so I’m fine with it … shoes are totally boring though. She’s a cutie

    • MilaXX

Standard. Move along, nothing to see here.

    • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

even your dress is downvoting your no-no.

    • Trisha26

I was going to say if she paid more than $50 for that (not that she’s paying) she got robbed – now I see it’s on sale for $35.00. At least she looks less like a working girl than the model!

      • lonepear

I was going to say this looks like something every twentysomething club girl picked up at Wet Seal or Express… close enough.

    • terpsichory

I don’t know. That actually looks like the perfect dress to go clubbing on New Year’s Eve ca. 1998. It’s kind of cute on her, even if it’s stripper-tastic.

    • kimmeister

This is the first time I’ve really noticed that the reflection off of sequins can make you look like you have a weird skin disease.

    • http://www.facebook.com/NadiyaOsmani Pudgy Possum

It’s not THAT bad… Not my taste, but somehow she is sorta, kinda making this work.

      • siriuslover

        I agree.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000060490093 Anita Freiler Palmer

The most expensive dress on the MissGuidedUs.com site costs $91.77

    • leave_Blake_alone

      1. “Miss Guided” is a great drag queen name but a TERRIBLE name for a product you would want people to buy.
      2. That dress is tacky as shit and she looks like a prostitute from the neck down.
      3. Which is a shame, because she’s normally so cute and looks fine here from the neck up.

      • meowing

At least “misguided” is truth in advertising.  However, she’s young, and she will regret this photo someday.

    • Apocalipstick Now Redux

Isn’t that a 10 year old photo of Vanessa Marcil?

      • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

I had the same thought. Dead ringer.

      • Indovina

I had the exact same thought, except it went “She looks exactly like… Oh, what was her name?”

        My apologies to Vanessa Marcil.

      • http://profile.yahoo.com/BJTY6KY7LOR7MDOD6QCZUC3VVI Donna Tabor

More like a 20-year old photo, but that was my thoughts, too.

    • jmorino08

Well, the label is aptly name. I’ll give them that much.

    • JasmineAM

I like this look a lot. Though I am 21, so that might be why. And it’s neat to see someone with “money” wear an $80 dress.

    • crash1212

      Aptly named. Pretty hair though.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1401197785 Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

Oh dear lord. Go home and change, young lady.

Sorry, my mother just took over my body.

    • ThaliaMenninger

Somewhere, Vanessa Marcil is weeping that there is someone out there who looks just like she looked 25 years ago.

    • http://profiles.google.com/scaponigro Sarah Caponigro

For a 20 yr old girl celebrating her birthday I think it is perfect.

    • marilyn

This type of dress is very difficult to wear, because the cut-outs at the waist usually  make the wearer look hipp-y.  This girl probably has no extra body fat, but the optical illusion created by those cut-outs makes her look bottom heavy.  this looks like a retro 60′s dress.  She is young, and this is not a careeer killer.  She will go on.

    • schadenfreudelicious

      Miss-Gyno….

    • http://heartprintandstyle.com/ Vivi N

I honestly thought this was Vanessa Marcil.

      • BrooklynBomber

I don’t know who she is, but I was thinking the same thing; well, Vanessa Marcil’s little sister. I was going to say someone should cast them as sisters, but I looked her up; it’s hard to believe but their age span is enough that they could play mother and daughter.

    • Toto Maya

I thought I’d seen this dress before. Then I realized I had, in the sims 3. In an expansion released years ago. And the sims creators are known for making hideous clothing that no one would want to wear.

    • turtleemily

It’s like the sleeves and neckline are from a different dress.

    • subwaycars

Missguided’s clothes are so cheaply made but a lot of it is really cute. This, however, is just really tacky.

    • http://twitter.com/Glam_Dixie Glam Dixie

She needs to give Kim Kardashian her dress back.

    • http://twitter.com/BigBearSpeaks Big Bear

      Barrel. Fish. Shot.

    • mhleta

At least she didn’t pay much for it. I just saw it on sale for 23 pounds on the web site.

    • MoHub

Heidi Klum called. She wants her dress back—but without the sleeves and crewneck.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/37TPKASIMXVUPYK5BNQFOL43KU Carina

She’s 20 and it’s her birthday. Let her wear the sparkly cutout dress.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_5UQHEKG5EDX4T6NMARUC565TPQ Amy

      Misguided is right…

    • lobsterlen

Not that I am knowledgeable about such things …

That dress looks like a leftover costume from a space porn movie.

Arrows on your privates are never a good clothing choice. Well unless you are staring in space porn. Then it works.

    • http://twitter.com/watchinginkdry Krysta

This, right after the Cat Deeley Ab Show?  Ab cutouts look good SO very rarely.  Can they stop being a thing now?

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

      It’s a little stripper-tastic, and I generally HATE cutouts, but she’s 20, so…

    • http://twitter.com/lisledanielle Danielle Lisle

Yes, we see you’re skinny. No, you don’t need to remind us with glaring cutouts.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/47S737MGWCAZEZ73QOAFKDFEKQ Jill

Awful dress on a pretty girl

    • lobsterlen

The dress is worse from behind. I don’t care if you are 20 no woman at any age should have an arrow pointing to their ass. Now that should be international law.

    • PeaceBang

Such a pretty girl. Such a horribly ugly dress.

    • formerlyAnon

It’s a difficult dress. It really only will look “good” on somebody who’s got curves busting out of it – and that will look cheap. On anyone with a more ordinary, good, figure (like this one) it’s just kind of mildly unflattering.

    • guest2visits

Even though I laughed at every single description of this; I think she’s kind of cute and appropriate to the occasion she’s wearing
it for.  It would be better without the extra 2 chevrons on the skirt.

    • libraangel

Follow the V’s and eventually you get to her V

    • lrhg

Eh, Young, hot and celebrating her 20th birthday? I say slut it up girl, this is the time to do it.

    • demidaemon

The label she is wearing is quite apt.

    • kathrineb

She  has the figure for it. I like the triangle insets but the sequins and the crotch triangles it make ugly-gaudy. If anyone one in the whole world is going to pull of this dress its her, but that doesn’t mean I like it.

    • Jadine Wilson

Truth be told this is pretty close to what early 20-somethings wear to the club on their birthdays. Or Thursday night.
