Selena will be serving your drinks on the Aloha deck.

      • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Snorted my coffee.  Now I have to make a boat reference as well.  xoxo

    • Nicholas

This looks like a Disney princess from a movie I never saw.

    • HomeOfficeGirl

Ugh… all that’s missing is the twee sized bowl of fruit on her head.

      • Rand Ortega

         Very Chiquita Banana/Carmen Miranda.
Coming soon from Disney Studios–Chiquita Miranda!

      • Anathema_Device

Just had an instant “Men on Film” flashback. Two snaps up!

        • HomeOfficeGirl

Yes exactly!!  Haha!  You for the win!

      • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

oooops.  Wrote before I saw your post.

    • Annabelle Archer

Well Kitten, on this one, you’ve totally lost me.  I’ve been loving almost every look she’s served up lately, but when the lipstick matches the orange skirt, the proportions of the look that is being attempted are completely off, and there are nude shoes, I’m out.

    • In_Stitches

Is that orange lipstick?  Whatever it is, it’s a no.  Isn’t this all just a bit….’try hard’ for SxSW?   I suppose it’s the premiere of her movie at SxSW so she has to put some effort in.  Fine, I’ve talked myself into an IN, but better shoes next time dear.  It’s a fun look, don’t forget the feet.

    • VeryClaire

I think she looks really cute and spring-y. I don’t love the bare midriff look but it’s on the modest side and she’s young so I give it a pass. No pass on matching your lipstick to your skirt.

    • Lily

It’s totally in-line with her movie, so I appreciate it for what it is. However, it would be a lot better if it actually fit??

    • Ashleigh Morris

Why do stars insist on this pencil skirt/ cropped tank combo. Do they not realize that it doesn’t highlight a very flattering part of their body?

      • Amelia Logan

Right? This is the last place on my body I would wear a crop at. I am fairly thin but I have a bit of extra padding where my ribs poke out at the bottom here.

    • Missy Covington

Here’s a tip: If your outfit is giving your itty-bitty 0% body fat self a tiny muffin top? It’s probably not the outfit to go with. I mean–how is it even possible that it’s doing that?
      Take that, science!

      • Kristin McNamara

AND the bracelet/cuff is doing that too!

        • lrober03

I wouldn’t be surprised if her arm had 2 circular indentations for a couple days afterwards

      • Sadie-Ann

I’m with you. No matter what your size, if your clothing is putting parts of you in places they should not be then there is a problem.

    • Gabriella M

Selena, you’re making my semi-positive stance on midriff-baring (in the right context, with the right proportions) very difficult. Go to your room, you’re grounded until you put something on that doesn’t simultaneously bare your midriff and make your boobs droop down to your elbows. Kids today, I swear…

And put back your mother’s work pumps.

But you can keep your Push-Up Popsicle/sherbert colored lipstick, that’s adorable. Can I borrow it sometime?

    • siriuslover

LOVE the colors on the outfit, hate the bare midriff. However, given the movie, I think it’s appropriate.

    •!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

Surely that top could be fitted in a more flattering way?  Placed that low with a high-waisted skirt makes her look both droopy and constricted.  I’m not sure that silhouette works outside of 40’s musicals anyway.

    • alyce1213

It’s like something that Fran Fine would wear on ‘The Nanny,’ if she were doing a salute to Chiquita Banana.

    • Claudia Fernandes

Selena Gomez? Are you sure? Not only Selena?

    • Lori

The midriff/proportion issue is bad, but I almost couldn’t see it because I was so distracted by the fact that A) the color of the boob flaps totally doesn’t go with the rest of the outfit and B) she’s wearing orange lipstick. Bad.

Also, is it just me or is that backdrop really ugly? There is something about that shade of yellow that I find so distracting in every picture from this thing.

    • AuntJentie

      a bikini top??

    • jw_ny

All she needs to complete the look is a cornucopia of fruit for the top of her head…

    • girliecue

She must be really, really busy if she thought she was in Miami instead of Austin. For an Avon convention.

    • Stella Zawistowski

I too was stupid enough to wear orange lipstick when I was 20, so I’ll forgive her (but by “forgive” I emphatically do NOT mean “endorse this look”).

    • conniemd

I would hate the bikini top with the bare midriff less if the skirt didn’t have the ugly ultra-wide waistband.

    • Anathema_Device

it is kind of cute, for what it is. Not my cuppa, but I don’t hate it. I do hate the orange lipstick. Wish she had chosen more of a rose-coral, like on the boob floral of her outfit.

    • Tracy_Flick

Orange lipstick and nude shoes? There is no outfit for which that combo is appropriate.

    • Jeff Warhurst

Man, I hate this bra as shirt thing…  But she’s young and it’s in, and she looks gorgeous.  Just that odd band of flesh, with no belly button or anything.  Weird.

    • MilaXX

Cute. I’m liking her post Beiber looks

    • ceceliadid

No thanks.  That goes for the outfit and the movie.

    • gabbilevy

Whoever told her it was a good idea to keep wearing that blue-ish eyeshadow should be taken out and shot.

    • Jess5628

What is with her and her tummy?!

    • mary McCall

      In reply to Annabelle

I have a soft spot for Miss Gomez – but you are too right on every point.

    • Trisha26

She’s wearing a bra/bikini top with an office-style pencil skirt and pumps. What’s not to like?

    • ankali

I’m getting kind of a Vargas-y vibe! If the lipstick were more of an orange-red, I’d support this with very few reservations.

    • nannypoo

From now on I will follow the example seen here and match my lipstick to my skirt. How could I go wrong?

    • Jenna O

I don’t know if that quite qualifies as a ‘top’…..

    • KayEmWhy

From the expression on her face she looks like she knows this is all wrong.

    • Lily-Rygh

You don’t have to scroll down any further than her mouth to get to the fug.  Sad, sad, sad.

    • OrigamiRose

From the nose up, she’s gorgeous.  Her eyes are stunning.  It’s all downhill from there (especially that atrocious lip color – UGH).

    • Thathoodwink

And the arm bracelets are digging in. Oy vey!

    • unbornfawn

      This is awful. Poor child.

    • j_anson

    • PeaceBang

      What the….!? *sputter sputter*

    • PastryGoddess

She’s a baby starlet testing her fashion wings.
      It’s a meh for me

    • DesertDweller79

No. The top shouldn’t be short like that.  Her lip color matches her skirt.  And her bracelets are digging so far into the skin on her arm that it actually looks painful.

    • boweryboy

She always looks like she’s trying too hard.

    • Dagney

      oh dear.

    • Claudia

      Aww…and she’d been looking so cute lately…*tsk*

    • kathrineb

Well she really has a LOOK doesn’t she? Revealing yet kooky? It’s good she is having fun but I don’t dig her style at all.

    • Victor Beiramar Diniz

OMG it’s Gloria Estefan! (circa 1985…)

    • Tina

I love this! Adorable, cheeky, perfect!

    • marlie

Oh honey, NO. This makes her look like her torso is incredibly short. The shoes are making my eyes bleed. And the orange lipstick is awful.

    • August Galifi

She looks like an extra from “The Birdcage”

    • Alyssa

I just can’t with the high waisted skirts & bra tops.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

I said to myself “Ah, how cute.”  And then I scrolled down to Hoof Shoe Land.  Why not some cute sassy sandal, since she’s wearing what is essentially a 1940’s dress that should come with a Fruit Piled Hat (it must be laying down somewhere on C deck).

    • Susan Collier

I would have loved this outfit in 1985, but not the orange lipstick.

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

    • MoHub

She has blue eyelids on her boobs! And they’re blinking at me.

    • stubbornthoughts

That is a 70 year old woman’s bathing suit top and her saggy boobs.

    • Melizmatic

      Oh, girl; NO.

    • Rhonda Shore

i like it except for her lipstick color.  She’s cute and it’s SXSW.

    • librarygrrl64

Yikes. Head to toe, just, yikes.

    • libraangel

I keep staring at the orange lips – probably so I don’t have to see the rest of the mess

    • kikisayshi

      Lose the orange lips.

    • barbarienne

Either bare your damn midriff or don’t. Looking as if maybe your dress split across the middle annoys me.

    • Anniebet

Well, it’s young and appropriate for SXSW. But- even those nude pumps have an orange tinge to them. Maybe she’s expecting someone to need to find her in a dark crowded room, thus the neon orange glow-in-the-dark lips.
