Olivia Wilde in Hollywood

Posted on March 15, 2013

We don’t know what she’s in the process of shooting at the moment, but we will say we absolutely love how she’s been dressed.

L’Wren Scott Resort 2013 Collection

She is serving up a combination of Olive Oyl, Lois Lane, and Jessica Rabbit realness here. These kinds of cartoon looks aren’t always easy to pull off without looking like you’re trying too hard (Katy Perry, sometimes), but this has just the right amount of chic to counterbalance all the eye-popping color and simple lines. Love it. You know you’d turn your head if you saw a lady walking down the street in this.

  • I’m having an eighties flashback. Pretty sure I had that skirt at one time or another.

  • nannypoo

She doesn’t seem to like that dog very much. Fabulous outfit, though.

    • 3boysful

How can anyone not love a terrier? Love the outfit, too.

      • MoHub

Reference Best in Show and Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy recording “God Loves a Terrier.”

        • MilaXX

          2 left feet!

  • Introspective

so adorable. want every piece of this outfit.

  • CPK1

She looks fantastic. So chic. But her hair is frightful

  • In_Stitches

I was thinking more Hamburgler. It looks a wee bit tight on her, but it’s fabulous enough that I don’t care.

    • CT14

Yes, she is fab, but that yellow and red combo is very 70s McDonald’s.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

      Love that “Hamburgler.” Love it.

    • H3ff

Oh my God. That is uncanny. Mad props to you.

  • Janet B

Love the outfit, I don’t really like it on Olivia much.

  • Fabulous and fresh. Love her.

  • AmeliaEve

The thumbnail only showed me her midsection. I was so hoping the full picture would reveal her wearing a jaunty black beret. Nontheless, I love it.

  • I didn’t know primary colors could look this chic. Very cute look. Now I need to get me a yellow pencil skirt.

  • She wore this outfit when she was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson this week. It looked great on TV. The skirt was long enough when she sat down. I liked it very much.

  • Sobaika

Near perfect, except when you see her mid-stride in the last picture. It looks a scosh too tight?

    • ChiKat67

She wore it (minus the cardi) on Craig Ferguson and it didn’t seem tight. Good outfit for sitting in an interview.

  • Jacqueline Wessel

This is cute but the skirt is a bit too tight and her shoulders are hunched over.

  • super cute and great colors for spring! This was when she did an interview for the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson a couple of days ago promoting ‘The Incredible Burt Wonderstone’

  • Damien W

A yellow pencil skirt with a red waistband and a slit that’s screaming to be altered.

    This is fashion?

    • What? The slit is perfect.

    • k b

I feel shallow ‘butt’ it needs to be said, she’d be rocking this look a lot more if she had killer glutes and the accessories were darker red

      • ConnieBV

This. The skirt is cute, but it highlights a surprisingly not great area for her. She is gorgeous, witty and thin with a great rack but that rear end is not her best feature.

  • sweetlilvoice

Adorable. I’d wear it. The skirt just looks like spring!

  • crash1212

She should steal that look for her own closet.

  • Qitkat

    Fab look.

  • Imasewsure

Love her outfit but love most of what the model is wearing even more (move the bag and shoes over to another outfit please)

  • Gail

She wore this on Craig Ferguson the other night – good talk show outfit…

  • frannyprof

    stand up straight, young lady!

  • It’s the posture that sells it.

  • Roosevelt 85

Sorry, the original styling was PERFECT!! She ruined it

  • aeb1986

she looks great! love the colors in this outfit!

  • Adorbs. Eva Mendes: please look at these photos and DISCUSS with your stylist.

  • pookiesmom

Did anyone else see the clip of her on Leno talking about her Bieber tweet? I was utterly indifferent to her before, and now I AM OBSESSED WITH HER. My love for her knows no bounds.

Who knew she was so fucking hilarious?

  • Oh I would wear that any day – perfect!

  • subwaycars

Oh my god, I want it ):

  • MoHub

Very Audrey Hepburn-esque. And that’s not a bad thing.

  • EEKstl

Darling! Saw some “60 Seconds with Olivia Wilde!” on one of my cable channels and was absolutely charmed by her. She is funny, smart and quick in addition to her obvious beauty. Jason Sudekis is a lucky guy.

  • rumcg66

She wore this on Craig Ferguson Wednesday night. It looked great.

  • MilaXX

Love that look. I almost want to buy a skirt that color and imitate it.

  • carolie_king

Who is the shirt/sweater/blouse? Not that I could afford it, but I’m digging the graphics.

  • I didn’t know L’Wren Scott did fun.

  • kathrineb

    LOVE IT!

  • teensmom99

Love love love. Must show a certain teenager in my house who just bought her 1st pair of high heels–red puimps!

  • Very posh.

  • bd73

how could you not turn your head. it’s every hazard signal in nature. stripes, red, yellow. seriously, it’s very striking. marion cotillard would rock this.

  • Eclectic Mayhem

I really love anything with raglan sleeves.  I have no idea why!

  • NYCGlamourpuss

This is just so super cute! I love the whole look, both on her and on the model.

  • Anathema_Device

I absolutely love this look, and the lookbook version for that matter.

  • musicandmochi

I love it all save the HAIR! D:

  • lilazander

How totally cute! She looks awsome.

  • Pterodactyl111

I wish I had somewhere to wear a pencil skirt.

  • libraangel

I hate this new Discus system even more today! No one looks at my posts; I don’t look at too many either because this format is not only so small letters, but nervous-agitation-panic attack
