      Sci-fi garden party.

    • Funkykatt

Is that dress see-through? How old is she??

      • calimon

        HolyWTF?! She’s only 15!!

        • Funkykatt

I am horrified. This is just plain wrong.

      • http://twitter.com/MindsMelding Anya&Paul

Not old enough! Makeup looks good though!

      • http://twitter.com/UnderTheDark Andrea B

The dress is definitely lined, y’all.. the contours in the skirt are of the lining material, not her bare legs.
I think she looks fantastic, and clearly she feels great about herself :)

        • calimon

          Lined with cellophane?

        • alyce1213

          I see legs.

        • Janet B

The skirt lining shows when she’s seated.
Weird how it appears we are seeing her legs.

          • Kristin McNamara

Static cling. In the standing shots, the lining is sticking to the outer fabric, so it looks like we’re just seeing her legs through the dress!

      • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

There’s a nude lining. But anytime you have to scrutinize whether or not you can see the underwear of a teen aged girl, someone has failed miserably as a parent/manager/stylist.

        • not_Bridget

Or is the failure in the eyes of the scrutinizer?

    • korilian

Woah! That’s Arya!?!? Little girls do grow up fast!

    • KateShouldBeWorking

I’ve decided to believe that the sheer was a Barbara Streisand moment. I don’t want to know otherwise.

    • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

      She’s too young for see-through.

      • capybara_cafe

        Same thing I was thinking.

    • schadenfreudelicious

      i see London, i see France….

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Alexandra-Glorioso/10025811 Alexandra Glorioso

it looks like she has nude slip?

        • schadenfreudelicious

i would agree that she does, the visual illusion that is occuring is still rather offputting though.

          • http://www.facebook.com/people/Alexandra-Glorioso/10025811 Alexandra Glorioso

Ah, yes. The dress is too old for sure. At least she’s got a stylist not looking to put her on the corner though. ;)

        • calimon

but, clearly (no pun intended) it’s a sheer nude slip

    • kaycem

arya is everything… god, i’m having MAJOR GoT withdrawals!

      • stardust462

        SOON…

        • luciaphile

          Winter is coming…

    • Funkykatt

      She has beautiful hair.

    • Chillmer

      That fabric looks highly flammable.

      • jmorino08

        Yes! So cheap looking!!

      • Vlasta Bubinka

Flammable, see through, and silly putty shade suede shoes– Zut alors!

      • DeborahJozayt

Nah. Her chest is conducting electricity.

    • http://www.facebook.com/hhiesterman Heather Hiesterman

Someones been taking lessons from Margaery Tyrell/Natalie Dormer.

    • Joey Melliza

      Ewwwwww girl that’s no one’s dress!!!!1

    • Breatheinthegood

The first thing that popped into my mind: she would be the perfect actress to play Pete and Peggy’s teenaged love child.

      • Imasewsure

        Mod Squad realness. Love it!

    • nannypoo

Wrong in every way. It’s not even a good color for her.

    • Sara__B

Not her dress. It belongs on someone with more defined shoulders and waist who’s fairly flat-chested. And OLDER!

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

The dress looks a little cheap, and definitely too mature for her. And let’s not speak of those shoes.

    • MilaXX

Eh’ I like the hair/makeup, but the dress is too old for her and the shoes are hiddy. The dress needs a better lining and should be knee length.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=675517274 Nora Halcyonov Lynnenko Naught

      She looks fantastic! Go her!

    • Indigo54

No Babycakes. This is not your dress. It just doesn’t go with that snookums face of yours. And it was very naughty of you to rip out the lining. Promise me you won’t ever do that again.

    • http://www.facebook.com/Cookie.Taz Aisa Ginger Jake Psenicnik

haven’t finished the books yet, but i would love to see her on the iron throne :)

    • http://twitter.com/SillyGrrlJen Silly Grrl

Yeah I can’t with that material. I wouldn’t mind it if it wasn’t so god damn shiny. Makes it looks cheap.

    • http://twitter.com/Mlle_D Donyelle

      child where is your slip?

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000905542323 Rhonda Shore

      Where’s her Easter bonnet?

    • PinkySlinky

      no…

    • Imasewsure

Actually that dress is perfect for sitting on a throne but it should stay there. HORRIBLE in every other shot (including the model). Cute girl though

    • AmeliaEve

Wrong dress for this girl. The standing collar does not flatter her round face at all, and the skirt is just too long. I don’t think 15 is too young to start dressing a little sexy, but the way this dress fits her is just kind of dowdy. It’s a nice color for her, at least, and I think the fabric suits the fantasy setting.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/37TPKASIMXVUPYK5BNQFOL43KU Carina

I don’t much care for the dress, but she’s a cutie pie!

    • LaSylphide

I like the dress, but the length on someone her age is dowdy. And the shoes are blah.

    • alyce1213

      A trifecta: Ugly, cheap-looking AND age-inappropriate!

    • jilly_d

I don’tt love that dress but she is adorable and it’s my dearest wish that Arya ends up on that iron throne when all’s said and done.

    • marilyn

This dress is much too old for her. I mean Joan Rivers old. Dennis Basso is on QVC selling fake fur coats to old ladies. I know, because I am an old lady and I bought a non-faux fur car coat from his line there. That would be great for a woman in her 50′s or older.

    • sweet_potato

      Weird Easter dress.

    • j_anson

I never want to see Arya Stark doing the “I have to pee pose” again.

However, she looks amazing on the throne.

    • Jeanne Englebrecht

i keep reading “dennis basso” as “donnie brasco”.

also, to me, nothing about this outfit seems right for her.

    • Martha Jones

That skirt is a problem, but the sheerness is happening on the model as well so its hopefully a construction problem rather than a lack of a slip. On the other hand, Maisie’s hair looks fantastic, and she looks like she could give Daenerys a run for her money when she’s sitting on the Iron Throne.

All hail Queen Arya Stark, Cat of the Canals, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lady of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protectoress of the Realm!

      • http://twitter.com/crush_onyou crush on you

I actually like the dress, but the proportions are all wrong on her here. Don’t like the shoes or the pedi, but her face/hair are gorgeous as ever. Love her sitting on that throne. Get it Arya, that’s yours!

      • drdarke

Dress is too long for her and sheer may not have been the appropriate outfit for a fifteen year old girl on her first red carpet, shoes look like something she’s had in her closet for a couple years now – but dayum! Is she selling it anyway through sheer force of will, or what?

If she hangs onto that demon confidence for another few years, I’ll bet designers will be falling over themselves to get her to wear their designs – that is, if she is not Queen-Regnant on the Iron Throne, where she’ll be far above such petty concerns….

    • ankali

Holy shit, Arya’s hit puberty. They’re really going to have to rush production on the next few seasons of GoT before all of the kids end up looking 30 years old.

    • kmk05

Oh wow. No. That is one ugly fabric.

    • barbarienne

All other considerations aside, I’m kind of loving how the dress reflects and makes it look as if she’s dressed in lightning.

    • capybara_cafe

I can see the nude lining in the sitting picture, but we should not have to be wondering whether there is one or not on someone so young. It’s also a little granny for her, and those shoes are horrible. But she is super fierce, despite the wardrobe snafu. And she looks right at home on the throne. I can’t wait for Sunday, aarrgghghhhh!

    • http://aldonsusi.blogspot.com/ Susi R

I don’t like it grown-up dress on little Aria.

    • editrixie

Holy shit, I love that dress… I don’t know that it’s right for her, but I do love that dress, which kind of surprises me.

    • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

A shiny, cheap-looking dress AND she’s wearing suede hoof shoes? Oh Arya, you can do so much better!

    • http://remedialstitcher.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

Too shiny! And the shoes are horrific.

    • Laylalola

She really needs to be nominated for a best supporting actress Emmy. She rocks.

    • http://twitter.com/carelessriver Caterina Maria

Cheap ribbon “fabric” plus silly-putty shoes. Pass.

    • BrooklynBomber

That dress appears to be both lined and see-through. Whatever it is, it’s absolutely horrible.

    • formerlyAnon

The seated photo convinces me that in person, she transforms this silly and unattractive dress into a pretty, frilly wrapping for her adorably sexy persona. Kind of the opposite of how great gift wrapping can elevate a pedestrian present.

    • Trisha26

She’s 15. It’s too mature and too long for her.Hate the shoes.

    • Anniebet

Sigh, I do not want my Arya to plunge into teen vamp-hood quite so abruptly. Especially since the dress is appalling. I suggest that every nude platform pump on the planet should be burned pronto. The pyre would be miles high.

    • bd73

first pic looks like she has no slip on. and the shoes… well, she’s just a teenager..?

    • jetpackdino

I want to find the people responsible for this and have a little chat.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=505225633 Nicola Anna Molly Page

It probably looked more age appropriate and sweet in person, but the curse of the flash struck again. It doesn’t photograph AT ALL well. That being said, Arya for Queen!

    • DesertDweller79

No. The dress is too mature for her. Somehow it almost makes her look old? Maybe? It is ugly on her. And the shoes are awful.

Though, I do love seeing her sit on the throne. That is way cool.

    • Amenaneri

Who knew this little tomboy cleaned up and was so gorgeous? I think she looks great, and I love her smirking on the throne.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Maya-KC/537771651 Maya KC

All red carpets should come with a throne for posing.

    • guest2visits

Pretty fabric, terrible dress. Especially for her.

    • Jessi03

I hated it until I saw her on the throne. Arya Stark would not rule well, but Maisie? She could werq the iron throne.

    • librarygrrl64

      Cute enough dress, awful shoes.

    • MaryAtRealityTea

This is terrible. First of all she has a very short neck and a very full face so the mockneck makes her look squat – especially with the hair puddling around it like that. Second of all it’s seethru and she’s a minor. Third of all it’s too big and the length too long making it look even more stumpifying. lastly it is HIDEOUSLY ugly. And finally shoes/makeup are a nothing. Whoever put her in this needs to be fired. And possibly investigated for mental competence.

    • KayEmWhy

Looks better sitting down. Go away shoes yuk!

    • StephanieLovesTLo

Man is that a fugly flammable frock. Yech.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Pretty color. But she looks like an Easter Basket in colored Saran Wrap. And hoof shoes. Sigh.

    • Adrian Garcia

now if you excuse me im going to fap hard
