I’m assuming that skirt doesn’t photograph very well – it looks super cheap and shiny on Jennifer Hudson and not quite as much in the label’s photgraph.

    • It doesn’t wear well either.

    • e jerry powell

I’m nearing the point where I really dislike her wearing separates, because almost all the skirts just don’t work.

  • Introspective

the skirt shows off her curves, but beyond that does nothing much for me. the material is too wrinkly, and cheap looking. and I think I see the outline of spanx in the 2nd pic, which is utter damnation.

    nice shoes though.

    • 3boysful

I don’t like the shoes, yet somehow JHud is making them work. Even tho the skirt does not. She looks great.

  • skirt looks like a velvet holiday wine gift bag. no flattering at all

    • Vlasta Bubinka

I thought gold foil that baked potatoes come in.

    • charlotte

      I thought amphora.

  • gabbilevy

Love that bod, girl! (No comment on the not-comment-worthy clothes)

  • I have a hate on for those shoes. The outfit is an inoffensive and obtainable look.

  • PrunellaV

Great from the front, terrible from the side.

    • A shameful reminder of the fact that we are actually 3D creatures. Many an outfit have I loved, until I turned and checked all my angles.

      • mightbewrong

If I was wearing that skirt I would have to strategically keep my back to a wall all day.

  • jw_ny

oh…that skirt is not flattering at all in profile.

  • SHE looks great. That skirt should be burned.

  • What is that “foldover” detail on the skirt? A tight peplum? Some ideas should be discarded on the mannequin.

    • It’s like yoga pants, but on a fancy skirt. What the what??

  • StellaZafella

Looks good…and she’s proud of her body – though I love her at any size…just keep beltin’ for the BIG notes, gurl!

Oh, and don’t EVER blow kisses at the camera…NOT EVER!!!!

  • Janet B

    Jennifer looks beautiful.
The line at hip is awkward. That skirt doesn’t look good flat or on her body.

  • nannypoo

That is not a good skirt.

    • charlotte

      On anyone.

  • marilyn

    The skirt is too tight.

  • pattyw

Stop. Blowing. Kisses. That is all.

  • schadenfreudelicious

i would suggest that skirt be burned, though i imagine it might be flameproof….

    • capybara_cafe

It might melt, instead of catching fire.

  • Trisha26

Because nothing says “I have a pretty figure” better than cheap looking metallic fabric with folds in all the wrong places.

  • Zippypie

I’ve noticed that Jennifer likes to wear black on top and something very loud on her bottom that often is just too damn tight. She’s rockin her bod. She doesn’t need to pump herself into a cheap ass metallic stretch skirt.

  • capybara_cafe

I don’t understand the fold over skirt trend. Why do we want to add MORE fabric to our mid-sections?

    • poggi

Exactly! I need no help looking thicker.

  • jetpackdino

She looks adorable. And I love the golden curvy skirt, too! Lotta men would sign up for Weight Watchers if *she* was on the menu, I have no doubt!

  • MilaXX

She looks cute, not crazy about the shoe or the blue pedi.

  • alyce1213

Nothing against her personally, but she’s overexposed and I’m getting tired of her being everywhere. Someone should tell her to stop blowing kisses at the camera.

  • Rand Ortega

That’s a mean, vindictive skirt. I’m sure on the hangar it’s just beckoning curvy gals, “I’m going to look sooo good on you. I’m going to make your skin glow, your curves are going to sing.” Then you put it on & every disproportion you can possibly highlight from the waist down explodes.

  • understateddiva

no one has ever said “hey, nice metallic pencil skirt!”

  • Show off them curves, honey! She looks slick. Not something I would wear, but it suits her to a tee.

  • Anniebet

Not the greatest look for her, but she’s so adorable. So adorable that I could almost overlook those shoes and skirt. Any shoe that exposes the whole length of the toes always looks weird to me.

  • Pretty basic, and a little boring, but there’s no denying that her figure looks great in this. If she’d maybe worn a belt, or some interesting jewelry, this would be pretty chic. The shoes are pretty hot, though.

  • Imasewsure

She looks great. Love the simple styling (and yes I’m ignoring that fabric).

  • Indigo54

Oh Jennifer. Darling. Sweetheart! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This is what you wore to WW’s 50th Anniversary party? Don’t be surprised if your contract is not renewed.

  • plinkiedoodle

Hey, no blowing kisses on the carpet. TLo says it’s unprofessional. Cute outfit though.

  • formerlyAnon

She looks good. I am surprised that I kinda like the color of her skirt. But I think it crosses the line from highlighting her curves to making them look lumpier and bumpier than I am sure, in reality, they are. (Especially after undergarments.) It just seems counter-intuitive.

  • PeggyOC

Oh honey. Just because it fits doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to wear it. Well done on the weight loss and keeping it off and looking fabulous physically and all, but no. Put it back on the hanger and walk away.

  • julnyes

Hate the skirt, shoes, hair and makeup. The plain black top is boring but inoffensive.

  • That skirt is doing a Kim K thing…not good!

  • getouttadodge

The line reminds me of when I have a shirt tucked in a skirt….I HATE THAT.

  • melissaisasnob

    The shoes look cheap.

  • I’ve been a Weight Watchers lifetime member, attending monthly meetings & sometimes weekly, for over a decade. .

Having said that, I think, knowing WW perhaps a little better than some, that they maybe DICTATED what she had to wear. That would not surprise me at all. If so, it may have been their wish for her to appear like “EveryWoman” i.e. not too chic, rich, or fashion forward. More like Mall clothes, from a small town Mall (no Neiman’s or Bloomies). Also, they probably wanted the sexiness toned down but body conscious clothes to show her Obvious great results from WW.

Lastly, I am SO glad that they have Jennifer H as their spokesperson. She’s the by far the Best one they’ve ever had.

  • Town

    A glamourous Century 21 agent?

  • korilian

Man, they must really be cranking up the heat for these ladystars with their bare legs and arms.

  • I like gold. Side shot is not the business though, lol.
