Is she a lot smaller than the model? I don’t understand why the proportions are so different on her.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

She’s shorter than the model (so the dress could have used a tiny bit of length taken off), though it also could be the angle from which the picture is taken that makes her proportions look a little off.

      • ballerinawithagun

It is a bad angle (if the photographers don’t back up it produces the lollipop effect, especially on short people) but if her hair were not covering the shoulders of the dress the proportions would look correct. Who is she and where did that hair come from???

  • ChiliP

If I were lucky enough to afford such opulence, I would wear all Naeem Khan, all the time. She’s wearing that dress better than the model.

Cute dress, but not loving the spaniel hair. And the pumps (are they Minnie Mouse pumps??) are boring. I appreciate that she has her “pop of color” in the clutch, but it seems like almost an afterthought.

  • Tatiana Luján

Love the dress, loathe the hair and makeup.

  • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

Too much Barbie at the Playboy Mansion Hair.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

Yeah, I HATE the color of that lipstick.

    • ceceliadid

Beautiful Crissy has beautiful hair that grows! (out of a hole on top of her head)

  • EverybodysStarling

I hate it, when they use a print and break it up. If you want to use that print, make it a full circle out of one piece. But apart from that, she looks amazing. .

  • http://remedialstitcher.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

I love the dress. I don’t like the shoes, her hair, or her lipstick. Did I miss anything? Wait, I did. Who is she and why do I care?

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

      Nope, that’s spot on.

    • pattyw

She’s on the show “Two Broke Girls.” I’m ashamed that I know that.

      • http://remedialstitcher.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

Thank you! I tried to watch it once.

      • Indigo54

You should be. I tried to watch, couldn’t take it.

        • Little_Olive

Same here. A leaking pipe has more rhythm.

          • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Spit out my coffee at that comment. Thank you for my morning smile today!

  • schadenfreudelicious

other than hair that looks like it was grabbed off a wig stand and plonked on her head, the dress is pretty on her

  • http://dontmakeitlikeimdumb.blogspot.com/ annabelle archer

Love the dress. Loath the hair and lip color.

  • joancarol

She looks like a blonde Lea Michele. Without the body part presentation.

    • rococodada

They both have expressions that are borderline schizo.

      • Kristin McNamara

To me, that expression (and for some reason, the way she holds her head, like it’s pointing slightly down, but I can’t tell if it really IS or not…) reminds me of Gilly from SNL. haha

        • rococodada

Just googled Gilly (that sounds weird) and you are SO right! lol

  • Sobaika

This is such a great dress. I do like how the color photographs on the runway a lot better though.

  • Nyltiak

I covet that dress. I am not a fan of the hair or makeup.

  • eowyn_of_rohan

What is the point on having an intricate design on your dress if the golden retriever hair hangs over it?

  • Apocalipstick Now Redux

That is totally a dress for FLOTUS. It even has a spot between the doily designs for a thin belt.

  • Lilyana_F

An up-do would improve it a lot. Not a fan of the satin purse. Cute dress.

  • formerlyAnon

I didn’t think I was in a particularly sour mood, but maybe I am. I want to slap whoever decided that hair was a good thing. It looks fake as well as not particularly attractive. Or flattering. And it covers too much of the dress.

    • MilaXX

yeah put it in the back so we can appreciate the dress.

      • l_c_ann

Exactly. ‘Cause the dress is more interesting than her hair.

  • MilaXX

Dress is okay. I realize the stylist was going for a pop of color, but I think that’s the wrong bag for this dress. That looks like a bag for a gown or more formal event, she needs a more causal clutch.

  • Indigo54

Pretty dress! Everything’s lovely from the neck down.

  • jmorino08

    cute dress. boring shoes.

  • Imasewsure

At least she might make the top 10 this year (if we are choosing the top 10 worst hair of the year awards, that is). Cute dress – actually prefer the extra length on her vs. the model.

  • Kathy_Marlow

Had she put the hair up in a sassy ponytail, different shoes and lipstick, we’d be in business.

  • librarygrrl64

Pretty and visually interesting dress, and it fits her well. I hate the hair and lipstick, though.

  • crash1212

LOVE the dress. Sad choice of shoes. Hate the hair.

  • http://twitter.com/urban_gypsy Tess Danesi

Love the dress and love the casual sandal look on the runway. Do not at all like the shoes whoever this person is paired with this dress. Also, why are her bangs a totally different color than the rest of her hair? The red clutch is too dressy for this look. Really love it dressed down.

  • Trisha26

Cocker spaniel hair, and booms, and a busy dress…no.

  • marilyn

Okay, they did match the print. But, they look like doilies tacked onto a dress. My late grandmother had doilies like that tacked at the headrest of chairs, and on the arms. Antimacassars? She really needs to wear something else.

  • BaddestMotherEver

Oh, the color in the runway version is so stunning that it made me gasp!

  • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

I really hope that’s a bad wig, for her sake.

  • http://www.facebook.com/D.D.D.Dino Dino Bonačić

LOVE her in 2 broke girls! <3

  • peachy

wow i have no idea where to begin… so i won’t.

  • nannypoo

Her makeup apparently has set and has frozen her expression into place. I bet it hurts.

  • Crystal

    Why is she SO blonde?

  • makeityourself

I had a Chrissy doll and I remember her as a redhead. But my little sister had a Velvet doll, who was a blonde. And I think Velvet was Chrissie’s little sister too.

Btw, those veneers are quite showy, so to speak.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

I also had a Chrissy but once you pulled her hair out, it was difficult to get it to go back in!

  • http://twitter.com/DarthJaeda Jaeda Laurez

Love the dress, hate the hair. What’s the point of having a gorgeous patterned dress if you’re going to throw crappy extensions on top?

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Did anyone else have a “Spirograph” as a child? That’s all I can see on this dress.

  • MoHub

She has a target on her chest!

  • Tashina Savage

What’s wrong with the hair? It looks healthy, shiny, and fixed. I sometimes feel like one person has a complaint with something and everyone jumps on board with it. I think her hair looks fine!

  • libraangel

You are getting dizzy – dizzy – I am already!

  • kathrineb

This is not stylish. I hate the hair.

  • Frank Lithium

    Yikes.
