I love ALL of this.
I would wear everything, except the cropped pants (*hate* them) and the tan jacket. The prints are fantastic, and I love the B/W/R color palette.
The more I look at them, the more I agree. Though the red and black dresses are giving me a serious duct-tape prom dress vibe.
Step back, everybody!! My new wardrobe has arrived.
Love, love, love it all! I’d love to see that first dress on the red carpet Sunday. That’s what the Oscars needs, more graffiti! Come on, JLaw.
I LOVE about half of these and hate about 1/4. My favorite is the dress on the left of row three, I think.
Too bad I am too old to look like anything in these but (at BEST) a once-cool, now merely esteemed professor in a fine arts program who’s purchased with her heart in the past and probably a couple of drinks under her belt.
I would still think you are cool if you wore one of these!
Rihanna and Gwen.
I was going to say “KStew, you’re up!” but RiRi and especially Gwen work too.
I’m sort of hoping KStew will just go away…
I hope like hell that KStew wears something from this collection. It would be in her wheelhouse and maybe she wouldn’t look so uncomfortable on the carpet, yet she would be fashionable.
It just occurred to me that it would be incredibly cool if the Powers That Be would gift me with one outfit of my choice from all these collections.
I sort of wished I had recorded my face while I was looking at the collection – it must have been entertaining. from the “what? confused… i feel like i shouldn’t like that! ooohhh… i love that… holy shit, this is brilliant!”
This edgier stuff is Not My Look (even if on second glance there are several very user-friendly pieces in the collection), but OMG, the leather jacket in the 6th row is so, so, soooo beautiful.
This just proves to me that a good idea can always be reiterated…but I wish I could word that sentence better!
Calligraphy used as camo is genius
This is one terrific collection!
Tilda on the red carpet? Yes. But Too Much Look for mere mortals.
this is my 4th….LOVE IT ALL. i know back in the day i would have rocked the black & white pants & jacket….sigh
I read 14 comments and am scared to say this: I don’t like this collection.
Me, neither. I get it, but I don’t like it.
I’m with you. and with the gal below. I also get it but I think it’s already been said. And black lips make me sad.
Love it! Even though it reminds me of A-Ha’s Take on Me video, I like this collection.
Are you saying you don’t like the Take on Me video??? Blasphemy!
no, quite the opposite, I love that video
Meh-this stuff looks like it wouldn’t be worn by anyone over 26.
I think I wore a lot of these outfits when I was 26 (20 some years ago)
Always loved her; there was a time you could get some of her stuff on sale at Macy’s. . . .
Love, love, love, love.
Not really loving a lot of the graphic elements. They just look like trying too hard to be edgy or something. The stuff in the later pictures is better than those first few looks.
You sure this isn’t Project Runway?
feels costumey. for the anime set. remember in the late 90s when she did that ladylike line that finally brought julia roberts down to earth?
Most of this isn’t my cup of tea, but. I do think the first gown at the very top is gorgeous.
The high-waisted pants in row 5 would look terrible on most people, but I adore the idea of them. Ditto the frankenskirt immediately below them.
It’s a very limited color palette, but there’s a lot of variety and oomph here. Awesome.
I love those pants, too, weirdly. I keep thinking how I could make them work for me, but I think it would have to involve losing 40 pounds, which ain’t happening.
I wouldn’t wear any of this, but I still love it! It’s really just eclectic and different!
So very cool and original. Love it.
I wish the color palette was a little more varied, but overall I LOVE this. Black and white is always my thing, and I love the graphic nature of the collection!
The Blue coat, bottom row right is wonderful. The rest of it? I liked the punk style the first time it came around…when I was the age those models are now. The clothes are edgy and different from the rest of the pack.
Some of my favorite uses of leather except for the leather shirt. Rachel Zoe did a leather shirt too. They seem so uncomfortable. With a leather heavy season, the accent strips are interesting.
Some striking outfits, but overall, not to my taste. Others can rock the hell out of it.
has anyone scanned the QR code or translated the Kanji characters on the fabric? I wonder what they say.
Did not notice that was a QR code until you mentioned it!
this collection makes me think of Mondo for some reason
Calling Helena Bonham Carter: run to this show, dear, and give that other Vivienne a wee break!
blech. black and red and asian lettering… isn’t that so overdone?
The hair. LOL.
Not really my cup of tea but some interesting and artful looks. They could be cool or they might go sloppy on the wear-er.
Trendy? yes Avant garde? yes Punk? yes Pop Art? yes Mondrian? yes Would I want to wear them? no and they are ugly as sin
The one jacket I really liked was the one with the two straps – one across the chest and the other nearer the waist. I liked it’s proportions, though I think you’d have to be very narrow-shouldered like that model to pull it off as well. Other than that I thought it was very cool, but very intense. I’d enjoy watching it but would then need to go watch “Enchanted April” or something along those lines to kind of shake it off.
