Is she cosplaying as the ace of spades?

      • PatRoadtrip

Same wavelength–I thought she was costumed as a playing card!

Cushnie et Ochs: Proving that it’s impossible to tastefully reveal or showcase side/underboob.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Lucía-Gavello/1253586868 Lucía Gavello

Amen. This was made for someone with no boobs, Eva’s are making a run for it.

      • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

I wish I could see pictures of the other side. The side-boob doesn’t look as bad as I thought it would when the camera gets her right side, but oh man, from the front, the left side looks like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.

      • 3boysful

Oy.  The left boob in the final photo–more than a cutlet.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Aldona-Dye/216300255 Aldona Dye

Oh my god, I would be absolutely terrified if I were her.  I would stand so awkwardly all night.

        • cooperalden

The odd thing about this woman is that for years, she almost gets it right…but never gets it right. I guess it is true that money can’t buy everything. (this outfit however is not even close to right).

    • imperfectlaura

      One word: Severe

      • Funkykatt

        Two words:  Very severe

    • hughman

“Table for four on Deep Space Nine? Follow me please…”

      • Rand Ortega

    • gabbilevy

I’m not sure the fit on that bust is salvageable for anyone who isn’t flat as a board, but I like the dress.

      • Kristin McNamara

It even makes the model’s left boob look like it’s pouring out / not fitting properly. Humans have no chance….

        • Airkisses

It’s too tight on the model as well. It’s pushing out the extra skin. Those aren’t her boobs, they’re dress-provoked armpit rolls.

          • http://twitter.com/KateKealey Kate Kealey

Yes! Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that someone would chose to design a dress to highlight the most dastardly of body issues, the dreaded armpit rolls. How did the designer not see how it looked on the model and think “well, it was an idea, but it doesn’t work”? That poor Eva tried to take on the challenge is just unfortunate.

            • oohsparkley!

I agree with you. That dress would be deadly unflattering on anyone. It’s a bust minimizer in that it make you look pear-shaped, yet everyone is busting out of it. Edited to add: I really hate this ugly dress!

    • Laurie Bergman

I really like the intent of this dress–and how it looks on the model–but it makes Eva look like Bomb Bird.

    • Rand Ortega

Love it. Striking, unusual, unexpected. It’s demure yet sexy– love the contrast. A couple of bracelets, more detail or color on the shoes & this would’ve been a WERQ for me.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=724916801 facebook-724916801

I would like it except for the fact that it obviously wasn’t designed for a woman’s anatomy. Sigh.

    • Sobaika

Too long on her – with some adjustments I see it working on her.

    • another_laura

I like it.  I like it a lot.  But then, I’m not obsessed with looking for the sides of women’s breasts.

    • http://twitter.com/janedonuts Jane Donuts

2013 interpretation of the evil queen from Alice in Wonderland. But far less fierce.

    • http://kingderella.tumblr.com/ kingderella

i didnt realize longoria did “interesting”.
      love it!

    • http://twitter.com/hashtagsteven Steven Elliott

Anyone else think it looks a bit phallic?

      • Evan Hart

Yes. The first thing I thought when I saw it was “penis.” Not exactly an unpleasant thought, but not something I necessarily want to associate with a woman’s dress….. and breasts.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I sort of like this dress BUT, there are some worrisome fit issues around the bust. And you know it’s bad when the same problem is there on the model/runway.

    • SugarSnap108

Queen of Spades.  And what is with these shoes with the platform toe?  They’re like the evening-wear version of Crocs.

    • Trisha26

Saw this look/design technique for the first time during NY fashion week last Fall – amazing but it’s hard to pull off – don’t like the poochy-boob effect on the sides. (Is the model related to Jodie Foster?)

    • MilaXX

Eh, it’s okay. Hate the platform pumps, but I think this is as good as that dress gets.

    • http://www.facebook.com/henry.maler Henry Maler

SIDEBOOB! That’s all I see with this outfit. Sorry ’bout it.

    • Annabelle Archer

      Crimes against arm pits.

    • Sara__B

It’s as though she changed her mind at the last minute. Hair, makeup, and shoes don’t really go with that unusual dress.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1401197785 Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

I’ll applaud her for going in a new direction. I’m just not sure this is the direction for her.

    • Zippypie

      Holy Sideboob, Batman!

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gabriella M

Something about this just makes me laugh. Maybe the breast desperately trying to escape to her armpit?
I just don’t think Eva Longoria has the slightest bit of edge to make this work.

    • Imasewsure

I like it… interesting and not overwhelmed by the styling

    • marilyn

She looks very good, but would have looked better if the skirt had been shorter or longer.  Either to the floor or the knee.  This length makes her look too matronly.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=790818401 Laurie Landry

      Stupid and unflattering side boobage.

    • yulaffin

It looks like a little bit of boobage overload on the top portion of that dress.

    • formerlyAnon

The horizontal wrinkling/pulling across the hip bothers me more than the side boob issue. (If you could get the side seepage even on the two sides I probably wouldn’t even notice it.)

I think it’s a bit gimmicky but I like it. On her. Wouldn’t want it to become a trendy neckline.

    • shnaggi

Drama in all the wrong spaces and shapes….Just plain unattractive to her form and figure….Oy vey let me count the ways…
      Hem to long
      Bust to tight
Neckline awkward and so on to the ridiculous attachments at the shoulder….

    • http://twitter.com/aidanboleyn Aidan B

It’s a little “Lady Dracula” in a good way. Sideboob aside, of course.

    • http://www.facebook.com/bert.keeter Bert Keeter

Dress makes her AND model look short!

    • Mexxoo

No, honey.  Your left boob is trying to escape.

    • In_Stitches

She keeps going for these body conscious (corseted) bombshell dresses that just don’t work for her shape.   She has a fairly straight body which can be dressed fantastically…if she can give up on the idea of looking like Sofia Vergarra.

    • pookiesmom

That has got to be the weirdest bustline I’ve ever seen on the dress. Even on the less-endowed model, it makes a woman’s breasts look like muffin top.

    • sweet_potato

It’s not without its problems, but I like the dress for what it was trying to do.  It doesn’t work with Eva’s straight figure though.

    • understateddiva

Ambitious look from both the designer and Ms. Longoria and I applaud them both.

    • http://twitter.com/watchinginkdry Krysta

I like the idea of the shoulder area. . .but wow, it’s unflattering.

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

I like the idea, but the fabric looks sooooo cheap.

    • barbarienne

This is the sort of dress that works better in theory than in practice. She’s spilling out the sides, and there’s nothing to be done about that except pull the dress higher, but that would kill the relationship of the center with the shoulders.

Sometimes you have to build a thing to see how it doesn’t work in reality. This is one of those times.

    • fursa_saida

I can’t even believe I’m bothering to worry about it, but: ARE YOU SERIOUS, PEEPTOE PLATFORMS WITH THIS DRESS? It is made of sharp angles. It needs angular shoes.

Like I said, not actually important because what it really needs is to be burned, but for some reason this is still making me hopping mad.

    • Pterodactyl111

Oh I like it. It really draws attention to her face.

    • kikisayshi

I just can’t with that neclkine – it’s giving some weird sideboob in addition to the fact that it’s just ugly.

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

This is one time I’ll say an updo doesn’t work. It takes her to matronly way too fast.

First, I have to say I find it so ironic that she, of all people is wearing this dress. In season 6 of Project Runway, she was a guest judge for the newspaper challenge where they had to make a dress out of newspaper. Johnny, who ended up being aufed this episode scrapped his original dress because Tim Gunn hated it and had to make a new dress in a rush. He basically made a tube dress, but it had this same triangular shape on the bust that points upward. Eva said she really hated the “pointy thing” and wouldn’t wear it, and now here it is. It is ridiculous that I remember this because I’m obsessed with this show, but that was my fist thought, lol.

I actually really like this, or would if it weren’t for the awkward side boob spillage. Overall, I like that its different and interesting and if the boob thing could be resolved I would completely love it. Love the shoes and makeup, but not so much on the hair and earrings. This dress needs some jewelry. Nothing to over the top, but some different earrings and a bracelt and a ring or a clutch, something to add a little sparkle. But, honestly really like this. I know I’m in the minority here. Sorry this ended up so long.

except for the escape-a-boobs, she looks hot!!

    • prettybigkitty

      It’s not a mermaid dress… .props, right!?

      Boob funnel

    • decormaven

The makeup and hair is so severe; coupled with the pointed neckline, it all hits at the face going “Look at me! Look at MEEEEE!” Not flattering in the least.

    • E. D.

No.  The top needs to be a bit bigger and the waist needs more shaping.

    • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

The Widow Longoria, this is not your dress!

    • jw_ny

Hair, makeup, earrings, and shoes are aging/mature.  I like the dress tho.

      • kschwarting

Also, I feel like she’s had the same hair/makeup for a long time.  It would be great to see her mix it up a little.  What is she doing in the post-“Desperate Housewives” era, anyway?

    • geans

To its credit, the dress gives us a new way to see too much weird boob.

    • B_C_J

Conceptually, I love this dress. It’s edgy and interesting. However,  given the problems with the bust, this was not a good choice. It needs adjustment.

    • http://twitter.com/lisledanielle Danielle Lisle

Her boobs are running for cover. Tactless dress.

    • Kathy_Marlow

The Widow Longoria…on the prowl again

    • jmorino08

There is no room for error in that dress. I’m quite sure Miss Eva doesn’t have arm pit fat like mere mortals, but dress sure makes her look like she does!

    • Valerie Jones

      Oooh, it matches her eyebrow.

    • http://www.facebook.com/darva.sutra Darva Sutra

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha – that bustline or whatever you want to call it is WRONG.

      Bad feng shui.

    • libraangel

Eva – I don’t know what to do with you lately – everything is just wrong

    • http://twitter.com/detemple patsy stone detemple

There’s no craftsmanship in this dress. It’s very badly tailored. Go and beg Ms. Westwood, if you may hold her pincushion, you might learn something.
