WERQ: Taylor Swift in Donna Karan Atelier

Posted on January 14, 2013

You heard us.

Taylor Swift attends the 2013 Golden Globe Awards in a plum taffeta Donna Karan Atelier gown.

We’re all about the positive reinforcement here at T Lo Cares About Celebrity Feelings, Inc. Since we’ve long railed against her “little virgin” schtick when it comes to her dressing, we can only sit up and applaud when she wears something grown-up, sexy, and womanly. Love this color on her, love the neckline, and love the double straps. It’s a tiny bit too wrinkled, but then again, we’re always amazed when ladystars get out of limos wearing 400 pounds of gown, wondering how they managed to fit it all in there in the first place. We once again want to throw out our idea to any budding entrepreneurs out there: Buy a bunch of those trailers they use to transport horses, fit them with some air conditioning, wallpaper, and maybe a little chandelier, and rent them out to starlets to transport them to the red carpet in style. They can stand the whole way, secure in the knowledge that their dresses remain unwrinkled. You’re welcome.

Anyway, you WERQ that grownup shit, girl. You keep this up and we may stop hating you.

The consensus in my office is that this was a decided miss. It’s too heavy and her makeup and hair look dull. There *is* room between “virgin” and “corpse bride,” Tay, there really is.

    • Agreed. I dislike her immensely  but I will give her props for a fantastic dress, but the hair, it looked ick to me. Especially on camera in the ballroom. Too pin head.

      • NC_Meg

I don’t like the hair either. I don’t think her face was made to have all her hair pulled back and severe (which is ok, my face wasn’t made for that either.) She looks better when her hair has a little volume.

    • She deserved the “WERQ” last week or whenever that was, but this one is a stretch for me.  Meh.

      • Jecca2244

Agree with all of the above. This did nothing for her!

    • KatieKissinger

Agreed!  This look was overall heavy and dull.  I think everyone is just happy she’s not wearing white, blush or cream for once.

    • EveEve

Another agreement here…sorry TLo.  Square necklines are not flattering too often – certainly not on this dress. Love the color and the earrings, but the rest doesn’t come close to WERQing IMO.

  • Finally she looks like the man-eater she is, WERQ!

    • littlemac8

      Ha Ha  Ha

  • I’ll go with the WERQ on this, especially for that color as it’s really flattering on her. The death glare that she gave Adele however?

    • I did see that.  However, I was disappointed that they did not pan to her face when Tina or Amy (don’t remember who) admonished Miss Tay Tay to stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son.  HAHAHA.  Can you IMAGINE what Taylor’s face looked like at that point?!  Priceless!

      • Wellworn

I loved that joke.  Me time indeed.  I so wanted to see her face too.

    • She is the ANTI Adele.  All ‘tude and no talent.  Adele is all talent and no ‘tude.  I love that she was so pissed.

      • Dot

I get the anti-Taylor Swift sentiment, as I find her annoying myself — but it seems a bit of a stretch to say that she has *no* talent.

        • Eh. It’s her own fault. She’s not talented, but she’s also not unskilled. Unfortunately, she masks that skill with autotune in the studio, so it’s no surprise that people hear that and just assume she’s 100% fake.

          • fursa_saida

Huh, it seems you and I have exactly opposing views. I think she’s a talented songwriter. I mostly dislike her songs, but I recognize that they’re well-written, catchy, lyrically specific (that last is a big deal to me. If you’re going to write a saccharine love song, at least don’t just rhyme “girl” with “world” and “baby” with “crazy” a hundred times) pop songs that I just choose not to listen to. Where she lacks skill, I think, is in singing. The autotune is necessary because she can’t pull off what she does in the studio live. Every single time I have seen her sing on an awards show or whatever, she is always flat, missing notes, unable to get the volume the chorus requires, etc. Studio wizardry and an unlimited number of takes can disguise many failings.

          • We totally do! I don’t think her voice is really that bad; when she sings live, she sounds like a person of moderate skill singing live. And that wouldn’t be a huge deal one way or the other(it’s a sound that has served pop music well into the 2000s), except she has herself glossed into a false perfection so when she stupidly sings live without autotune (which is now possible to pull off live, and not just in a T-Pain way), everyone freaks out and treats her real voice as a failure. It’s not a failure; it’s just what it sounds like when people sing live. There are imperfections and improvisations and that used to be part of what made it all so marvelous. Of course, it helps to have a distinct voice, both literal and metaphoric, to pull this off. Swift lacks that as well. There are plenty of artists of imperfect voice with strong cult followings whose less-than-perfect performances are part of what makes them so damn perfect (sup, Shirley Manson). If it were possible to link to youtube examples here, I would. But it isn’t, so the laziness wins again. 😀

And at the end of the day, does it even really matter? She has fans who adore this crap and throw huge cash-filled bags of cash her way.. That makes Taylor and Taylor’s people happy. So I guess she’s doing the “business” part of the music biz with aplomb. Good for her, CEO, Taylo. :

      • LOL, Adele actually has a lot of ‘tude. The kind everybody likes.

    • kimmeister

Aw man, I missed the death glare!

      • gabbilevy

        There are gifs!

        • FrayedMachine

ah! Where! Where! I’m bummed I couldn’t watch last night but I wish I could watch it without the actual awards part since I really did not care too much for that.

        • kimmeister

I went and found it, and found that it didn’t live up to my expectation.  It was more like a fake laugh than fiery darts of hatred.

          • fursa_saida

It was a delicious bitch-laugh in the moment, though. DELICIOUS.

      • EveEve

It’s more of a little snicker-sneer, but was quite entertaining in the moment.

  • siriuslover

Yes, she looked fantastic, but did you see her shooting lasers at Adele for having the audacity to win?!?

    • Jessi03

I laughed so hard at that moment.

      •  but Adele’s acceptance speach was so utterly charming! I really doubt Taylor’s smug-ish ‘I don’t deserve this, etc…’ would have been as delightful as Adele’s ‘we were getting pisses laughing’ speech- how refreshing!

    • VicksieDo

This picture gives the impression she’d just been told not to expect the win…HAHAHA

  • thecitysleeps

Apparently it had to be Harry Styles to wake her up.  I like the colour and the dress is gorgeous even though so wrinkled.  I dislike her hair and her in general though.  Her side eying Adele for winning was unintentionally hilarious.

    • ccinnc

I was reminded of the photo of Sophia Loren giving the side eye to Jayne Mansfield for having the audacity to show her generous decolletage.

      • the_valkyrie

Wasn’t it more for showing her generous nipples in public? Maybe I’m a prude, but I would probably give someone a side eye if they pop out their breasts on the table…

        • ccinnc

She was practically falling out of that dress, but I didn’t see nipples.

          • sweet_potato

            Oh, there were nips.

          • the_valkyrie

There were a number of other pictures, and as sweet_potato sweetly said, there were nips…
I think you can see them in the iconic picture as well.

    • WhiteOprah

Well, don’t T & Lo advise starlets to get new gays when they need a fashion intervention?  (Sorry- couldn’t resist)

      • siriuslover

    • ya to all you’ve said. i think this is a pretty emphatic “BAM, boys!  THIS is what you’re not having tonight,” to all those song subjects of hers.

  • What a pretty color on her!

  • I knew this would be a “Werq”. She looks incredible. That COLOR!

  • f_yeah_marie

I love that color on her.  I wish the camera had cut to her when Tina made that joke about Swifty and Michael J. Fox’s kid, though…

    • fursa_saida

Seriously. Who is in the control booth and why the hell do they think we’re watching? GIVE US THE DIRT.

  • Sobaika

She looks lovely but not a werq from me. It’s a bit too dull and heavy (due largely to the color, on TV it looked straight up brown but here it looks eggplant?) and I don’t like those panels on either side. Still, she’s been looking really great and very adult lately. Well done.

    • kschwarting

I was totally with the WERQ for this grown-up look (and the color, which I love), until I saw the sheer panels on the side.  Totally unnecessary and kind of ticky-tack, as my mother would say.

      • ecallaw1977

Are they sheer?  They just look like like a different color to me, but not sheer.  Am I wrong?

        • Corsetmaker

They can’t be, the colour blends into the aubergine as it goes down the skirt.

          • AnnaleighBelle

That’s what it looks like to me, too…

    • RebeccaKW

Agreed.  Not a WERQ IMO, but she does look nice.  Other than those side panels.  But I have no problem rewarding her for stepping out of her comfort zone of princess dresses and retro looks.

  • schadenfreudelicious

the dress is great no doubt, but i so enjoyed her losing to Adele…:)

  • Very nice. But seriously, how awesome would it be for ladystars to arrive on the red carpet in a chariot?

  • H3ff

Gorgeous colour and stunning fit. Debra Messing must be absolutely FURIOUS that she got the DK dud.

  • Zubair Ghumro

Encourage aside…the make up is odd..she seems she just got out of the hospital bed 30 min ago.

  • One of my friends relayed this to me regarding RuPaul’s appearance requirements: if you want Rupaul to arrive at your event in full drag, she prefers a turtle top van because with heels and the wig, she can be up to 9 feet tall. It seems like a similar situation should be in place for ladystars so they can show up without the waist-wrinkles.

  • AnnaleighBelle

TS needs to stop singing and just model – this is beautiful.

And the Fey/Pohler take on her was hysterical.

  • Alisa Rivera

Too wrinkled plus the fit is off around the middle. Lovely color, and everything above the neck is great.

But she’s nasty underneath the sugar, isn’t she? To quote the Sweet Smell of Success: “I’d hate to take a bite outta you. You’re a cookie full of arsenic.”

  • Annabelle Archer

Very pretty. Very sexy. Very look at my new boobs.
I miss the curly mane, that would have been more fun than the Heidi hair.

    • alyce1213

      “look at my new boobs”
On the other hand, I admire her restraint by NOT showing cleavage, a lot of side boob, or such.I think she looks pretty good.

  • Eh, I’ll pass.

  • Diego!

I agree with you guys! This is a WERQ! She looks stunning! 😀

  • MoHub

Don’t care for the squareness of the bodice. It looks like the bib of an apron to me.

    • AnnaleighBelle

The side panels are sheer?  I don’t see it.

      • MoHub

Maybe not, but that’s how it looks on my monitor.

        • kimmeister

          On mine too.

          • ralish

            Mine three!

      • Corsetmaker

Me neither. Looks like an ombre dye, going to the aubergine shade as it hits the flare of the skirt.

      • ecallaw1977

I had the same comment above.  I don;t think they’re sheer either.

  • Karen Maslowski

Definitely a personal best for her. I gasped when I saw her. Love the color, the shape, the hair, the makeup, and best of all, the attitude.

  • StillGary

You can stand up in the popemobile.

    • AnnaleighBelle

That would add a whole ‘nother dimension to the red carpet…

    • Wellworn

      And it’s bulletproof.

      • AnnaleighBelle

        ” And it’s bulletproff.”

Well, there’s always room for improvement…

  • kimmeister

Those earrings are gorgeous.  I could do without the sheer side panels.

  • meowing

Absolutely personal best.  Whomever dressed her deserves his/his own shiny award.

  • Kristina Toma

This would be a WERQ for me if it wasn’t wrinkled. It’s just distracting me from appreciating the look as a whole.

  • decormaven

That’s a heck of a gown, and I must say she is pulling it off. If there had been a stronger color polish on the nails, I’d be in for the WERQ. Gorgeous earrings for sure.

  • Zippypie

Looks more appropriate for Ms. Mankiller but misses being a WERQ, though I understand the positive reinforcement. A Pity-WERQ.  The fabric just looks too heavy, the racing stripes unnecessary and the wrinkling kills it for me.  But hair, makeup and earrings are fab.

My favorite moment was the camera catching that look of utter distain and repulsion as Adele was accepting her award.  Oh, Tay-tay!  That was your true self shining through right there!  Embrace it!

  • NO. NO. NO.

Taxi creases. Wonky bust and ill-fit in neckline. Looks like a wedding gown dyed for a second life as an evening gown.

  • Mismarker

This is a wrinkled mess.  Yes, I get it that people arrive in limos and are seated for long periods of time but how about picking fabrics that don’t wrinkle so easily? It can be done.  Several ladies looked fresh, elegant, and wrinkle free.  Makeup is too light and hair is a major snore.  Shooting eye lasers at Adele was the best moment of the show.  Way to show your true colors, Tay Tay!

  • halo323

I like the dress a lot (it’s a gorgeous color on her!), but her hair (usually so perfect and polished) basically looks like mine when I’m in a rush, headed to the gym and just need to keep it out of my face.  (And to be clear, my intent isn’t to compliment my own going-to-the-gym hair.) In other words, it just looks like an afterthought. Pretty makeup, though!

  • filmcricket

Everything from the waist up is fabulous. From the waist down it’s a wrinkly, fish-tailed, sad trombone, but I love the colour, the bodice, and the back (congratulations on your genes and/or work-out regimen, lady).

  • ThaliaMenninger

She was one of my best-dressed of the evening. I’m shocked, but it’s true.

  • From the neck down it’s fantastic but her hair and makeup look like an afterthought. Especially the makeup.

  • I’m so proud of my Taylor! (^_^)

  • laurenoodle

    Her eyebrows sadden me

  • Chickadeep

She looks like a baby Charlize Theron in the face/hair department. The wine color is fab on her and the earrings are matchy in the best possible way.

  • BrooklynBomber

Great color on her, and great dress from the waist up. Waist down, eh.

  • jw_ny

I’m not feeling that she possesses a werq attitude…just the same stiff, dead eye, pouty mouthed, mannequin poses that she always does.

  • mhleta

We are terribly pleased with Taylor’s efforts lately. She is finally owning her grown-up womanhood and, my, but the view from the rear is impressive, so extra points for that. As far as your idea for wrinkle-free transporting, why not a hearse? How fabulous would it be to emerge perfectly pressed from a bedazzled coffin carried on the shoulders of six scantily clad bell hops? Lady Gaga and her egg pod can suck it!

  • I’m not convinced that raisin is her color, but that dress is genius enough to carry it.

  • lehen

i think she looks great, but i’m surprised you two gave a “werq” to a dress with ass-windows.

  • Janet B

    Taylor looks amazing.

  • marilyn

The flesh colored bands down the side take this to tackyland.  Too bad.  She was so close……

  • meebs

    Not werq worthy.

  • Sara__B

She’s posing to perfection, and the gown’s fit and color are extraordinarily flattering, but I’m still having trouble with her leap from virginal Disney Princess to sexy super model with no stops in between.

  • Judy_J

Gorgeous from the waist up.  I’m not crazy about the skirt.

  • homespunner

May I suggest the Popemobile for lady star arrivals?

  • VicksieDo

    Horse trailers!  Thigh slapper!  LMAO~~~
Loved that she lost though, it’s about time.

  • xmixiex

    her eyebrows need some WERQ.

  • xmixiex

also, is that a Knoxville photobomb?

    • kaycem

lmao oh man i didn’t even notice that guy until you said something!  i don’t know (but don’t think) it’s johnny knoxville, but whoever it is is DEFINITELY photobombing — all 3 pics he’s pulling the same face.  gotta love his commitment!

  • kelsita421

awful makeup and hate the hair. fine, grow up from the neck down, but you gotta get it right up top, too!

  • E. D.

I like it, but don’t love it.  Generally, I’m not a huge fan of mermaid gowns and the bottom of this just seems too heavy.

  • suzq

I’m sorry….Donna Karan has an atelier?  Really?

  • e jerry powell

Then she had to go ruin it all with that bitchface when Adele won.

  • Srw27

The bitchface she wore all night didn’t help her appearance either

    •  I agree – that face went on all night not just when Adele won.  She looked sullen, smirky and snotty.  Definitely a mean girl.

  • mmc2315

LOVE the color, love the straps.  I’m very MEH about that mermaid-ish hem.  All over, lovely.

  • Carla_Charlton

THe first photo of her that I saw in this I thought it was Anna Paquin.

  • Vanja

It doesn’t matter what she’s wearing, she always looks bland to me. I think it has something to do with her dead eyes.

    • kaycem

did you see her bitchface when adele beat her out?  i died laughing.  😀

      • MilaXX

tumblr has a zillion .gifs of it. I lol’d

        • kaycem

the only possible way it could’ve been better is if she’d accidentally started doing her “OMG LOOK HOW SURPRISED I AM” face first.  ^___^

(i missed this bit on tv, but saw gifs of will ferrell and kristin wiig onstage… were they explicitly making fun of taylor with their surprised faces or was that correlation just in my own head?)

          • MilaXX

It was a bit about how they had watched all the nominated movies and they really hadn’t but were faking talking about them . I didn’t find it as funny as most people, but I have a low Will Ferrel tolerance. He always goes 5 mins too long for my taste.

      • Dot

I saw it and her expression basically just looked like the regular squinty face she always makes, so I was unsure if I was looking at the right thing.

      • Vanja

YES I did. I liked her sour face more than her usual robot facial expression.

  • Lily-Rygh

This is hard to admit, since Swifty drives me absolutely batshit insane, but I think she looks lovely here!  I could do without the sheer panels, which just seem unnecessary and pointless, and yes, she’s a bit wrinkled.  But she really looks much prettier with her hair up than in her flat-ironed, boom-sportin’ go-go do.  And that subtle lipstick is doing her a world of favors.  Not as good as last week’s white dress, which was a personal best for her, but still a huge improvement!

  • MilaXX

Nah, I’ll always hate her, but I’d love to thank her for that face she made when Adele won instead of her.

  • EEKstl

If we think the “Adele stole my Golden Globe” face was classic, imagine what she must have looked like when Tina Fey warned her to stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son!

    • formerlyAnon

I prefer to think (till proven otherwise) that she got the joke and laughed – or pulled off a good pretense. I mean, she’s GOT to have a sense of humor – or some other considerably attractive qualities.  She keeps reeling in these boys and men, most of whom are well known enough that merely being a pretty girl doesn’t put one above the pack. And I guess guys can be impressed with success just as women are, but I just can’t see “but I’m *Taylor Swift*!!” having the power, ya know?

The male entertainers who hop from woman to woman are generally described at least as “charming” in addition to being well known, well-to-do and good looking.

  • I know they have to pose on the RC but honestly, were her hands super-glued to her hips?!

  • Imasewsure

Really like this….hair, makeup and jewelry look great with the dress. Love the cut as well as the gorgeous color (and yes I can’t stand her either but props is props)

  • I know where we can get a bunch of those trailers, but I’m sure we can use them for both horses and the celebs, many or in the horsey set these days too…

By the way, the shade she was just casting with her eyes when Adele won, oh my goodness… HI-larious.

  • RocknRollmom

Gorgeous from the neck down.  She doesn’t have the “face” for this look and the hair and make up here don’t help.  But I love Donna and this is a stunning gown.  This is what Heidi should have been wearing with a good lip color.

  • Drew Macaulay

She definitely has realized that her celebrity spirit-animal is Charlize.

  • frannyprof

So *not* a werq. The hair is too severe, makeup is awful, and the gown is so-so. But a good color on her. That’s all the positive reinforcement Tay’s getting from this bitter kitten on a cold monday morning.

  • stubbornthoughts

I don’t love it, but this is a fantastic improvement and the color is gorgeous on her.

That being said, I want to know where her boobs came from.

  • The horse trailer idea is perfect. And for the starlets’ comfort, they could add those stand-up chairs movie stars use to um, stand in between scenes in costume dramas.

  • I caught her on the red carpet pre-show and was very impressed. That dress was just perfect on her and her hair and make-up were perfect. Girls got style.

  • bluefish

    If you say so …

  • …no to mention that she is the only attendant who has the body to wear this..

    • Laylalola

You’re kidding, of course. And it makes her look weirdly top heavy.

  • she’s giving pretty good bitchface, too.

  • Or just have a trailer at the venue with a steamer in it for a quick stop off before hitting the rc. I think she looks great, love the color on her and her look at my grown up self attitude.

  • Super_Red

I’m having a hard time with this one. Granted, I respond really well to her typical style while you hate it. 😛

I really want to like this dress– I do like the neckline and double straps, but the mermaid skirt looks so utterly heavy and uncomfortable. Of course, I have an intense hatred of mermaid dresses. She doesn’t look terrible, but it doesn’t scream WERQ to me. Serious WERQ for Amy Poehler though- she looks amazing.

  • I just don’t think she has a natural idea of how to be sexy.  She is trying hard obviously with this gown but somehow she’s still not sexy.  And her expression, she is reaching for a smoky come-hitherness, but just comes off as royally ticked off.

    • AnnaleighBelle

Strangely enough, royally ticked off is my sexy expression.

  • I’ll stop hating her when she stops cycling through ‘romances’ long enough to get another vapid break-up song out of them.  Til then, her face is the bullseye on my personal mental dartboard.

  • Tatiana Luján

I hate the amount of heavi fabric this dress has at the bottom. I just want to grab some scissors and chop it.
But great color on her, great back, great fit, beautiful earings.

  • peachy

she really has learned how to strike a pose in her old age…

  • one word. spectacular!

  • LOVED how Tina warned her away from Michael J. Fox’s son.  HAha!

  • Brenna McClellan

This looks like bad David’s Bridal prom wear.

  • procrastinatrice

That is two times in a row now that she has looked hot as shit. Interesting.

  • I was legitimately shocked at this dress and at the fact that I love it on her. It’s a great saturated, rich color, and it’s not all frills and lace and sequins. She looks sexy, sleek and mature. Nice job Miss Taylor. Now, if we can only get her to start writing slightly more mature songs, we’ll be good.

  • warnerave

bottow is too heavy, it looks bad in front, but looks great from the back..not a WERQ tho..

  • I would love this if she were 40 years old.  Way too much dress!

  • Adore this look. Best she’s ever looked!

  • Snailstsichr

The earrings are to die for.

  • Trisha26

She looks more artificial than ever and her hair looks so drab.

  • slightlybitterkitten

    Foxnews hated it!

  • abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxqyz

those spaghetti straps on the front look incredibly cheap, whilst the back look way better..

  • Julia McLean

    Hideous!! So aging. Ugh.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

The color is spectacular, but I like the back of the dress much more than the front. Little Miss Tay is really growing into her bitch face, don’t you think?

  • Aurumgirl

The colour looks amazing, and it is a much more elegant and sophisticated look for Taylor.  But that neckline is one that really benefits from a very small chest.  Because she’s not tiny there and she’s curvy, the whole dress looks a bit matronly.

  • bd73

the only aspect i like is the figgy color. this would have been a cutting bridesmaid gown in the mid ’90s.

  • Lisa_Cop

I kind of gasped when Taylor came out last night. No princess dress? No curling ironed long hair? I loved this dress and totally agree with the WERQ.

  • Yay, I’ve been waiting for this post all day. I thought she looked utterly fantastic. The BF and I have decided with showing up on the red carpet twice in a row looking this good – Girlfriend Got New Gays.

  • Not a fan of the gown or the makeup.  I hope she finds the middle ground everyone has mentioned.  Tis not a WERQ from me, not even a baby werq.  It’s an “almost.”

  • And still, watching Adele defeat her for Best Song warmed the cockles of my heart.

  • All the ingredients are there for me to hate her. but somehow, I don’t.  She really looks good considering the dress is so heavy.  Great color too.

  • quiltrx

But the celebrity Popemobile was MY idea! 🙂

This dress is awesome.  Kudos to her for going with something so dramatic and flattering.

    • Anathema_Device

I had the idea of garden/nursery delivery trucks a while back, too. The popemobile is good b/c they can wave to the fans.

  • bertkeeter

I’m over these trains. Her gown is a mass of wrinkles…bad job on the designers side for choosing such a lousy fabric. She is too young for such an look. 🙁

  • girliecue

    When Mermaids Dress Up.

  • I can’t get on this werq train. I think the dress is totally wearing her, despite her valiant efforts to play All Growndy-Up. The hair doesn’t work at all, but I covet those earrings.

  • Frank Lithium

2 WERQs in a row, this look very promising. Keep it up girl!

Don’t adore this like her last WERQ, but it’s not undeserved. The hair could have been pulled back yet still have had more polish – a little volume – yes, polish AND volume. Liked the earrings.

who’s lady preggers in the last picture? she looks lovely!

  • Damien W

That dress is all about the booty.

But I still can’t focus on anything but her overbite.

She couldn’t hide her disappointment on camera though when Adele won for Skyfall…

I totally saw that too I loved how the camera guy cut to that

  • shelley514

Not WERQ-worthy.  Just too wrinkled for that which may be due to fact that the dress is a “skosh” (LOL) too tight across the widest part of her hip.  I see pulling there. Also think it’s too tight because in pic #1 you can see the outline of her lady bits. If it’s that apparent in photo then imagine in person.  That sheer paneling down the side is completely tacky looking.  The dress has a great cut, but the fabric looks cheap.

     Oh Dlisted… that is priceless!

  • neofashionista

UGGGHHHHT LO WHY are you being nice to HER
because she got rid of her bangs
besides the earrings being gorgeous this is a wrinkly mess and i DONT ever want to see taylor’s side boob again

  • Margaret Covert

    ew.  fhate it.

Much too aging for her. The color of the dress just makes that satin material so heavy and OLD. I don’t think the sheer panels
are even sexy; thats how aging this dress is for her body. And she’s practically a kid herself. If it was a lighter or happier color –
it would be a whole different look.

I’m glad that you gave her a WERQ on this look. Improvement deserves recognition.

  • Wendy Morissette

i love that her hair is pulled back. the heavy bangs scream at me, “i’m 15.”

  • Don Hackett

she’s on my irrational hate list, but i gotta admit this is a total werq.  talk about a wasp waist….

She deserves the WERQ, she looks amazing. The fit is great and I love the demure neckline. Who knew she had such a great bod?

She looks better without the bangs/fringe.
I am a girl with a large forehead and I love mine bangs but if you don’t need them and it detracts from your look/style why wear them?
