Fantastic! I totally want to draw shade from these hauty bitches in the South of France some day. Beautiful clothes as well….

  • Louise Bryan

Now, there’s an Easter dress! or even two or three.

  • l_c_ann

Hate, with a thousand hates, the lacey spats.

Love the silly flower jewelry, but it’s not the sort of thing that can be worn more than once without being remembered.

    • kimmeister

I echo your vehemence against the abominable footwear at the end!

    • They look like someone got really bored while being home sick from work, and they got out contact paper and wacky craft scissors and went to town.  I can’t picture anyone wearing them in “real life” as opposed to high fashion.

      • EveEve

Oh, but can’t you just see a cheap version of this showing up at discount shoe stores in malls all across America?

  • Hoh Lee Shit!   This is gorgeous stuff.  And beautifully presented.  Also a bravo to De La Renta for using an Asian model. Lord is she stunning.

    • rosie5215

Not to take away from Liu Wen (who is fierce as shit), but I think we will be seeing more Asian models in global luxury ad campaigns given how huge the China market is.  I go to Hong Kong regularly, and the number of mainland Chinese who queue up to get into Louis Vuitton, Prada, and the other gigantic luxury stores is unbelievable.

      • All I can say is, Its About Time!    Now, lets get more of other shades and gradations on the runway and in print more often as well!  So many beautiful people out there. Showcase em all!

      • SassieCassy

thats the shitty thing about it. its motivated by cash not representation so its not like we are going to see an african model or something any time soon.

  • hmariec19

That’s some primo face they’re giving.

  • All of the clothes and accessories are stunning, but the coneheads are a visceral no.

  • sablehunter

In theory I should hate the doily shoes, but I kinda love them.

    • MilaXX

Yeah, they’re working for me as well.  That opinion may change when a lady star attempts to deploy them on the RC.

      • lrhg

Yes, I should hate them but I think they work for this kind of sitting down and looking pretty shoot. The second they end up on the RC though…yeesh.

    • StellaZafella

       Antimacassar hooves.
(That doily thing on your Grandma’s couch and those four footy things on Clydesdales.)

  • Alyssa

I LOVE the b&w striped dress, as well as the pastel dresses! Beautiful clothes, and makes me jealous I’m not where they are!

    • kimmeister

The B&W gown and the outfit with the black blazer and red blouse are my favorite looks.

  • Flora O

Caption for the first shot: “What do you feel like? Indian? Ethiopian? Burgers?” “You choose.”

    •  Loving this!
      How about this one?
“Ya wanna go gorge on pizza and root beer after we get outta here?”

    • StellaZafella

       My turn!:
“Pink…they put me in angry titty PINK!”
“Don’t bitch, gurl, these stripes came from my bathroom!”

    • SewingSiren

      Pink  ” Was that you ! ? ”
      Stripes  ” Sorry….”

    • Pennymac

“God, I’m tired. Wearing these looks is soooo exhausting. And this table is digging into my bony ass.”  “Seriously? Get over yourself and focus on looking fab, like me.”

  • Really lovely. Everything is elegant and classic. I’ll take one of everything, please.

  • Jecca2244

Glad they changed up from using Karlie Kloss. nice to see new faces in the campaign.

  • MilaXX

This is lovely. I’d love to see Diana Argon try a few of these looks.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

I just can’t sign up for the lace shoes (are those supposed to be spats?).  But everything else is BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • Jackie4g

There will always be a place for elegance and classic silhouettes. Thank (insert diety of your choice).

  • alyce1213

Great beauty and elegance here — classic OdlR.  Those lace bootie things are so editorial, they must be deployed very carefully. Which means I can’t wait to see how many lady stars will abuse them.

  • ballerinawithagun

Ennui, angst, existential boredom in my fabulous garments.

  • AuntieAnonny

Are the photos not showing up for anyone else?

    • stellamaris73

I can’t see them, either. At least, not in Firefox with Adblocker on a Mac. I was able to view them using Safari with no adblocker.

  • SewingSiren

Very very pretty. I love the hair . And I especially love the pink dress with black lace appliqué  and the perforated leather anklets.

  • Drew Macaulay

Black graffiti-type markings over white lace is the rare lace look that I can get behind.  I have no idea why it works for me, but it does.

  • another_laura

I’m so happy to hear that it’s available for pre-order tomorrow!  I’ll take one of each (but I’ll pass on the shoes).

  • Annabelle Archer

Lovely.  But the styling is a little “Coneheads at a Parisian cafe” for my tastes.

  • Megan Sparks

Liu Wen is GIVING ME LIFE. I barely even notice the other model. SO FIERCE.

  • Snailstsichr

I love the big rose jewelry – especially the red one with the red blouse.

  • altermyego

I don’t like the spats either but I do appreciate that it is something new and different. Perhaps a version where they aren’t so wide would be better.
My question is…how do they get into those shoes?? At first I thought the spats were separate but towards the bottom I see they are attached to the heel.

  • Jessi03

For whatever reason, I can’t see the pictures.  🙁

    • Me neither 🙁 Are you using Chrome?

      • Jessi03

        Adblocker was the key! Thanks!

    • frederieke

Saaame. The page says it is loaded but BLANK WHITE SPACE!

  • Puck Thornton

Très chic, this is how I think I look until I get hit by reality when I see my reflection in a window.

Hatehatehate those shoes in the last couple of shots.

  • crash1212

There’s a lot to love here…not those leather doily shoes though. I’m so happy that striped gowns are having a moment – love Oscar’s take.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

The pictures aren’t loading for me, either.

  • kikisayshi

    OMG LOVE the striped dress.

  • MsBusy

    Can’t see em.

  • EEKstl

HATE HATE HATE the shoes but do covet that striped gown and pink and black sundress.

  • librarygrrl64

I love that yellow gown! LOVE!!!

  • Jill Morino

On principle, I take issue with the “I’m so bored” vibe when one is sporting thousands of dollars worth of product. It just seems so disrespectful to me for some reason. Blah!

  • quiltrx

I love the pastel/black lace looks, and of course the black/white stripe is to die for.

  • fursa_saida

I get that theoretically this is not a competition, but too much Top Model has lost me any perspective. As a result, I will say: both of these models came to fight, but when Liu Wen showed up it was a murder scene. Poor Caroline got steamrollered.

  • Holy shit; this is great fashion.  And the pictures are droolworthy.

  • One of the most darling photo shoot settings Ive ever seen. so simple. it makes an everyday thing (sitting around on bistro chairs) look so special.

  • Beautiful clothes but coneheads. All I see are coneheads.

  • I crave that striped dress.
