    Cheap and underwhelming.

    • captrenault

      And the dress too.

      • crankykaren

captrenault, you owe me a new monitor. I just spit tea all over my current one.

    • she’s trying so hard, again!

  • teensmom99

    Not her dress.

  • Annabelle Archer

I really want to like it, but the look of the unfinished bodice just keeps me from doing so. If she is going to insist on the lilac hair, I think she should avoid pastel pallets.

  • decormaven

Dearie, this isn’t your dress, not by a long shot. The shiny bodice makes you look thick-waisted and the shade, coupled with your hair tint, is giving me eye twitch. That’s a sweet little clutch, though.

    • Lily-Rygh

       As Casanova would say, “exaaaaaactly.”

  • MarissaLG

I love this! She looks like a classy, punk fairy princess.

  • I love the dress but not on her.

  • Sobaika

    Um… that’s a cute clutch?

  • ccinnc

Those boobies look like they’d cut a bitch.

  • MoHub

The bodice looks like a longline bra, only it’s leaving her hanging. If the bodice were a solid satin shell, properly darted but without the bra cups and seams—and she then had a decent, supportive bra underneath—I might actually like this. Hair and makeup are lovely, though.

    • Cathy S

I’m with you. I really hate this trend of bodices that look like bras. It’s just icky.

      • MoHub

Underwear as outwear. A dead trend that should have stayed that way.

        • TheDivineMissAnn

           Amen to that.

      • sk8tfan

Yes! What is it with this Boadecia about to march against the Romans breastplate overlain with chiffon look? Just make the hurting stop before I get in my chariot and launch my spear at some hapless designer.

    • J. Preposterice

I love her hair — the styling, how shiny and healthy it looks, and the color.  I really like the lilac on her; I get why people hate it but I think it suits her really well, and she’s clearly taking excellent care of it.

Go with the dress or the hair but not both.  Actually, it is past time to ditch that hair color, it may have been fun & quirky but now it is just tiresome.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

I thought I was the only one who finds her hair a bore.  With that hair and dress, it’s a bit too matchy-matchy, as Heidi would say.

    • TheDivineMissAnn

Yep.  T’was the first thing I thought of.  Enough with the bizarre hair colors already.  Take a cue from Katie Perry.

      • capybara_cafe

“Bizarre” hair colors can be just fine if it’s the right shade for the person; which this isn’t, and never has been.

        • TheDivineMissAnn

Good point capybara…but I don’t think she has ever chosen a good shade!  And I like her.

          • capybara_cafe

It’s sadly true! She’s such a cute girl, I’d like to see her in a more flattering color.

    • capybara_cafe

I hate the hair. It’s too pale, so that in most light she ends up looking like she has gray hair.

  • formerlyAnon

She looks very . . . different.  Is it make-up, some subtle “adjustments” or just my unreliable visual memory?

I like everything but the bullet-proof-bustier look of the cups on the bodice.  I think her hair works well, but would work even better with a gown with a bolder iridescent sheen doing call & response with the hair.

(dang, I had a ton of trouble spelling “iridescent.”)

    • Snailstsichr

I think it is the eyeliner.

      • formerlyAnon

Could be. I am terrible at judging makeup.

  • Paigealicious

    Prom dress.

  • Judy_J

She sure loves the lavender hair.  I’m not crazy about the bodice.  Looks unfinished somehow.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

I’m not a big fan of that bustier style.

  • Cloveradams

Kelly is oddly starting to look more and more like Norma Shearer (if Shearer had purplish-blue hair instead of her brunette bob). The harshness of that bodice against the rest of the dress is a bit Bride of the Robot.

  • lehen

her boobs look like blinking eyes.

    • V V

They look like UFOs to me. “Greetings, earthlings!”

    • kimmeister

      I was thinking clamshells.

  • irena matic

like a cheap, kitschy wedding dress

  • Get rid of the lavender mermaid hair, I am begging you!

    • StellaZafella

I like Kelly more since her guest and challenge stints on Drag Race…she can be really very quick and funny. But I agree about the hair…it doesn’t do her any favors. If it was a wig she could wear and take off like LaGaga I might say that’s up to her but this is what MY hair looks like when I leave the Lavendar “silver highlights” rinse in too long…and Kelly, dear, you’re a really pretty GIRL, do you intend to look like this 60 (something) year old retired drag queen at Sunday Brunch?

      •  She does seem to have a predilection for things that are rather aging.  The lavender hair, and many of her clothing choices are often far more mature looking than needs be.

    • MilaXX

I’ve actually made peace with the hair, but lately she’s been looking like Dame Edna to me.

      •  Dressing like an anime character is fine for cosplay, Kelly,….

  • sweetlilvoice

The bust/bra is too low. Kelly, you were a guest twice on Drag Race, you know better than this.

  • xmixiex

adorable.  I know people here love to trash her, but I love her.  i’m pretty sure she’s how i’d dress with the funds/lifestyle to do so.

  • Well the boob cups are unfortunate.

    • formerlyAnon

       Yes. Very.

  • JuliaInBlack

    Girl, that’s Katy Perry’s dress.

  • JasmineAM

As someone that has had pink, blue, purple, and turquoise hair in the past: Kelly your hair looks terrible. It’s splotchy and uneven. You make way too much money to not get it fixed.

  • greyhoundgirl

I think she looks pretty.  But I agree–it’s time for the lavender hair to go.

  • charlotte

Why is she everywhere? Rhetorical question… It’s like asking why Stella McCartney “designs” (rephrase: does things to) clothes.

  • MilaXX

It’s a pretty look but I find these super pointy boobs on dresses distracting. No one makes pants for men with built in cod pieces, so why torture women so?

    • MoHub

       That’s Madonna’s bodice.

    • Qitkat

Uh-oh, won’t we be horrified if that trend is next for men?

      • formerlyAnon

Yes. (Alternating with vastly entertained. The boys will never be the same after giggling and snorting follows their progress through a crowd.)

  • hape_dex

Her hair looks like grandma purple (I have no idea if it happens in other countries but here tons of older women have grey/purple hair, I have no idea why) and it has been lookng like that for a long time, can’t she at least fix it to make it real purple?

  • alyce1213

Ugh, ugh, that shiny, corset-like bodice is ruining a potentially prettier dress.
I just can’t take her hair anymore.  She really needs to get rid of the lavender/multicolor and go back to blonde — not everyone looks good blonde, so she should embrace it. And shorter.

I don’t dislike her, but I kinda love it when she messes up, which happens occasionally (sometimes she does get it just right). I find her “expertise” on FP dubious. But she’s cute.

  • Too pale!  Pale!

  • StellaZafella

Love the little clutch…the Ava Gardener cantilevered boob cups would make Howard Hughes proud…but I think they were meant to have a top over them.

  • Tracy_Flick

It’s a gorgeous dress, but the proportions are all wrong on her. The way the bodice is constructed, it looks like her breasts are located somewhere around the bottom of her ribcage. Saggy: not a good look at any age or size.

  • Ruth Preston

Walmart shower curtain and extrusion-molded boobs.

  • I like this dress and I like it on her, but FFS I wish she would stop matching her frocks to her hair! This would look much better in a teal, or if her hair wasn’t Mrs Slocombe purple.

  • Anyone else over mermaid hair?

    • jw_ny

honestly was just going to post the same!

  • She really needs to stop coordinating her dresses with her hair.  Honestly, that’s all I can see in these photos, it’s so distracting.

  • nannypoo

I love that she serves as a fashion commentator and then has the nerve to come out like this. That hair! Those tit cones! Ugh.

  • Imasewsure

Like the clutch. Hate everything else including the hair and cone bra…

  • annrr

That is almost he exact fabric of the dress on the angel from my Christmas tree.

  • kschwarting

A good example of the classic axiom “Never match your dress to your hair.”  Particularly not that dress, which looks surprisingly frumpy on her.

  • deathandthestrawberry

The skirt is pretty, but I really hate the top, especially that sleeveless lacey see-through portion above the bodice. Maybe if the dress were strapless I’d like it more. The dress also really needs a belt. I’m also getting a Jessica McClintock flashback. Not good.

Yeah, the lavender hair needs to be retired. NOW.

  • B_C_J

I like this young woman and I am slowly getting used to the lavender hair but I do not care for this dress. I think the waist is too high and therefore it is thickening her silhouette.

  • And yet she makes fun of other people for what they wear?  Irony at its best.  The whole outfit is just gross and cheap.

  • OrigamiRose

I was watching “Fashion Police” over the weekend (no judgment!) and at least 3/4 of the panel, including Ms. Osborne, selected Kerry Washington’s Peter Pilotto atrocity as the best look of the week (or whatever terminology is used there).  So, with that in mind, it does not surprise me that she’d walk out in public looking looking like this with absolutely no self-awareness whatsoever.  She is a horrid arbiter of fashion for others as well as herself.

  • It looks like a Blanche Devereaux nightgown. All she needs is the satin cover-up for midnight cheesecake.

  • FrayedMachine

I think if the dress were shorter, it would fit her way better.

  • No.

She’s on the border of matronly looking here, despite the lavender hair.

  • jenno1013

I like the dress fabric…too bad Temperley forgot to sew a bodice out of it.  Having her corset show like that is awkward.

  • Jillaine13

Looks like she put her satin strapless longline bra on top of her dress to be daring and kicky.  Fail.

  • libraangel

Her breast look like missiles ready to be fired

  • This dress, from certain angles, makes her look really…wide?  Yes, I think so.  Also, I’m not really loving this type of bodice with the weird geometric boobies.

  • GorgeousThings

Boy, Temperley London has been making more misses than hits in the last couple of seasons.

  • I thought she would tire of that hair color by now, but she seems intent on keeping it.  The dress is pretty, but not terribly flattering.

  • afabulous50

She looks like her boobs could fire bullets or death rays ….  or something…

  • belfebe

I totally loved it at the Golden Globes broadcast.  It looked much better on tv than it photographs here.  I noticed that the bust was a little bit tight, but other than that, one of Kelly’s best looks IMHO.

  • Fordzo

She has really committed to this hair color, hasn’t she?

    • l_c_ann

We won’t know the extent of her committment until she either does a porn shot, or has a forgot-to-wear-underwear moment when she has a meaningless show to push.

      • Fordzo

It took me until now to “get” your point. LOL. Now I’ll have nightmares.

  • Snoskred747

Kelly, you are a young woman, not off to the nursing home. You want to be cool, you want to be fashionable? Try hot pink. Lime green. Dark (and I specify) DARK purple. NAVY BLUE.

Or hello, a lovely auburn or chocolate brown would be so beautiful and such a departure and we would all sigh a big sigh of relief, and then probably throw some kind of party.

  • Stubenville

That MORONIC hair color makes her look like an over-Botoxed grandma. OUT, OUT, OUT!!! Be gone!

  • peachy

it’s a so-so dress on kelly. not bad, not great. fwiw, i do really like her hair. she struggled with it for so long, this is a lovely compliment to her face and coloring. i did, however, prefer the lighter lavender of several months ago.

  • marilyn

Hideous.  The tattoos.  The purple hair.  Her purple hair matches the dress.  The ‘merry widow’ bra/girdle top to the dress.  Is she street or  GWTW (Gone with the Wind)?  This is what is referred to as a ‘hot mess’.  Yikes.

  • Zippypie

    She looks positively day-glo.

  • I really really really wish she would pay someone to get that hair color right. It always looks like it was WAY better 3 days ago…

  • Throwing my grandma’s longline bra over said grandma’s best lacey curtains is not a good look for Kelly.

  • Candyland the Movie has found it’s Queen Frostine. I like the white with periwinkle embellishments, but it comes off more as a lacy ice cream cone than lady like.

  • poggi

I love the skirt on this dress (the yellow cream and then the silver/blue outlined white flowers).  I wish the bodice was different and that her hair was different and perhaps that a different person entirely was wearing the dress.

    • l_c_ann

  • I am so bored of her purple hair. Please do something else. Please.

  • Scarlet39

    I can’t believe that’s a Temperley dress.

  • PrunellaV

When the first thing you notice is the shiny tits, it’s not a good dress.

  • Not her dress. Maybe one of the Fannings, or another 20-ish starlet.

  • EverybodysStarling

My 3 year old is really into Handy Manny at the moment. Unfortunately her breasts look like Turner. That is one disturbing image I need to get out of my head.

  • Scrollup fug.

  • Carla_Charlton

Is it me, or does she always look exactly the same?

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

    A hot mess. Ick.

    • libraangel

I agree: so why is she a judge on ‘Fashion Police’ ( and getting a huge salary!)?! At least the other judges look reasonable.

  • crash1212

At least there’s no side boob (either side), under boob or a gaping keyhole in the chestal region.

  • Susan Collier

  • Adorable.  I can’t imagine this working on many people, but she looks so fresh and sweet, and I even think the purple hair works with this, although I’ll be happy when it’s gone.

  • rloliveira

Nothing about the dress flatters her.

  • capybara_cafe

It seems like the bustier top is about 4 inches lower than it ought to be. It could be the sheer neckline is creating some kind of optical illusion, but I just want to pull the damn thing up on her.

  • ojosazules

The hair and the dress are hating on each other.

  • Shiny hypno-boobs

  • guest2visits

I like this on her, even if it’s a little bit prom.  It’s especially pretty from the waist up. It’s another pale, delicate fabric that probably
looks better up close. I want to scrub off the tattoos; they are always in conflict with the outfit.  The one universal fact.

  • Trisha26

Not as figure flattering as her GG red carpet/hosting dress – but that dress was hein. This is very pretty but isn’t flattering. Can’t with the hair.

  • BookishBren

She has had the lilac hair thing too long. She needs to do something else, something that is much more flattering on her.

I actually think she is cute and she has clearly worked very hard on herself in the last few years. Bravo to her for that. But that lilac hair does her no favors.

  • quiltrx

I like it EXCEPT for the tit weirdness!  Did she and J Law shop together?

    • LambeeBaby

Change purse TITTIES are the new trend.

  • kathrineb

The colour of the dress is not working for her. There is something about the seaming of the bust cups combined with satin that is really off-putting.

  • RzYoung

I’m starting to admire her persistence with the lavender hair. At least she’s not a cookiecut version of someone else.

  • Why is this person a celebrity? Years ago, I watched the Osbornes (or whatever their show was called) and was mystified. Ozzie was at least a curiosity, but Kelly was just a spoiled child. What is her claim to fame? Is she a singer? I’m confused. And I hate her hair. The dress might be alright on someone else.

    • libraangel

I agree: she and all of the Kardashians should be banned from t.v. – and the world! What really angers me is the huge salaries these people are raking in, without any talent, having vacations, etc. while some families are struggling.

  • Boy, has she fallen off my fashion pedestal. Girl has lost the magic.

  • librarygrrl64

It’s an interesting and pretty gown, but the hair is competing with it and making her look like she’s a My Pretty Pony.

  • How she ended up on a show telling other people she hates their outfits, I’ll never know.

    Does she smell like grape?

    • LambeeBaby

Yes, but if you have to scratch her head

  • ThaliaMenninger

Her girdle slip is a fashion slip, too.

  • Rebecca Jay

Was she trying to match the dress to the hair?
