“Will you hold my bouquet for me while I say my wedding vows?”
Dress is total bridesmaid. And wrinkled. Shoes are ugly.
Even worse, it fits her like a sack, which really? You couldn’t have this tailored?
Wrinkled satin with pleats? Puffy hair? Lack of make up? Anna, go and try again.
Yeah, why on earth would anyone wear satin?
I agree about the dress, but I like the hair and I think she has plenty of makeup on.
Pretty sure this was last week’s entry on Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids. At least there it wasn’t a wrinkled mess
Yikes. Wrinkled Christmas wrap.
That is all.
It’s a perfectly fine dress, but that fabric wrinkles SO easily.
However, I follow her on instagram and those are earrings in her hair. Cute.
I’d be afraid the earrings would fall out.
What jeweler in her right mind would suggest wearing two oval-shaped diamond earrings on a the side of a whomped-out hairdo? I sometimes help my clients adapt diamond brooches into hair ornaments, but this is ridic. Fail.
Color is lovely, wrinkles are awful, hooves are also awful.
I love her hair clip/accessory. Everything else is pretty bad.
Oh, see and I was going to say that the earrings in her hair are a little much….
And I like them. I love dress clips, too.
wrinkled, dated( seriously, is it Dior I’m looking at?), ill-fitted and shiny. The 1997 Southern prom hair doesn’t exactly help and that brooch… accessory… thing on her side, why?
oh, and the shoes are extra bland.
out if I ever saw one.
Share your wonder/worry that that’s a Dior, that Dior would make so many odd folds in the skirt and that Dior would choose a fabric that only looks good on a hanger.
Are those earrings in her hair?
It does have that reworked bridesmaid’s dress vibe to it. I like the color, but don’t like the wrinkly fabric.
Looks like an 8th grade dance dress.
Love that color.
I like the color of the dress and her hair. That is all. Except…I would think that major designers who create backless dresses would build in support for the girls…why, time after time, with this style of dress does it look like they’re just in there, roaming free and unsupported? I am confused.
That phrase is a keeper. Perfect!
Actually, oddly, even though this dress is a mess, I don’t think I’ve ever seen her look more beautiful.
Pretty color, horribly fitted and wrinkled. The bridesmaid factor wouldn’t bother me so much if it weren’t a black tie event.
Ugh. Bad bridesmaid dress. Although SHE is looking lovelier than ever.
Why are starlets going to David’s bridal to get their dresses. Is there a dress shortage we need to know about?
Wait! Is she the first bridesmaid who was actually able to wear the dress again?!!!???? All she had to do was shorten it, and voila! a party dress!!!
Did her 11 year old sister do her hair? Good job. For an 11 year old.
Change the fabric and I love it. With this satin, not so much
It would be perfect if the dress were made of anything but satin. Otherwise, she looks lovely.
Hooray, she’s not wearing nude or blush! This is, however, a bridesmaid dress.
The color is fabulous, as is the hair clip, and the makeup is fine. But everything else is a complete mess.
Jolly Green Giant’s dinner date.
High School production of “The Boyfriend”.
The back view is cute, but the front view is wearing her instead of vice-versa.
Bridesmaid wrinkly mess.
Cheap-looking, wrinkled bridesmaid dress, sloppy mass of hair, and boring Minnie Mouse shoes.
Wrinkled and boring with bad hair. Pretty hair accessories, though.
It’s too bad she had to settle for the last dress they had at David’s Bridal.
My grandmother made me the identical dress for my high school jr/sr banquet. She had an iron, so I didn’t have to go looking like I slept in it.
oh my freaking gods, NOOOOOOO
Christian Dior? It looks like a high school student’s first attempt at sewing a prom dress.
I think she looks fabulous. I only wish the hem was a scooch longer, and the dress wasn’t wrinkled. But the silhouette is great on her, and I love the hair.
Lovely color and pretty hairbobs. That’s all I got on this one.
Color is gorge, wish the fabric was too.
Maybe the bow on the back?
NOPE, still ugly and unflattering!
Pretty color for her though.
More like Robert Hall, 1963.
Wrinkled, looks like a shortened bridesmaid’s dress (St. Patrick’s Day?), shoes are too heavy, hair is pretty but there’s so much of it!
1960s Wrinkled Prom Queen. Yick!
Love the earrings in her hair!
i had the full length version of this dress, same color, same fabric, (bow on the butt though) for my maid of honor duties in 1986…apparently you really can wear those bridesmaids dresses again!
This is so sad it makes me wanna cry. The hair is just atrocious and the dress has no redeeming qualities other than the pretty color. It’s unfortunate because she can do so much better. Definitely not a black tie gala look.
Where the open back meets the waist band does not look well finished. frankly, this looks like home-sewing, not Dior.
I liked so many other people’s comments that I have nothing left to say.
Yikes. I think the cut of the dress *could* be interesting, in a vastly different fabric, but this shiny, wrinkly mess? nuh-uh. I would never have pegged it as Dior.
So so so wrong. She & ms. Ritter must have made a pact to show up to this thing in the fugliest getups they could find. Find being the operative word.
This is a much better quality of wrinkled shiny than we usually see.
She is just a bit of a lass… 5 feet tall. It must be hard to find fabulous dresses that are proportional to her height – given that they are designed for folks with at least another 10 inches. Someone made some poor choices for her… Maybe when she gets her RC legs things will get better.
She has such an odd little ET face
A wrinkly mess. The color is rather drab, as well.
Prom. JUNIOR HIGH prom.
In the original version, there was a red bow, and it was a Christmas dress for a preteen.
If that dress is DIOR…my name is Doroty Parker! What a rag!
This dress is a DISGRACE to DIOR! What the hell are these large companies doing to the most venerable names in fashion history? It is beyond sad when a house like DIOR has crap like this with it’s name associated! MERDE, merde, MERDE!
Cheap prom dress, made from some of that shitty satin they keep finding at Mood.
I’m trying to figure out how anyone can make their hair look like that, and the best I can come up with is that she’s glue hair extensions to her hairline. Not even my Barbies had hair this bad.
That is a gorgeous color on her, but color alone does not a look make. Anna, give that dress to the next maid of honor you meet, and find something else to wear in that beautiful, saturated forest green, because it makes your eyes smolder.
Neck up- gorgeous; neck down- disaster. I don’t even know where to start. Just burn it all.
Ugh… I love her so much, and this color is so great on her, and the shoes are great… but the hair and the fit and the wrinkles are so, so, so bad.
Is she very petite? Something always seems a little off with the scaling. This looks great though, lovely colour and beautiful hair clip
Too shiny, too short.
Is Dior designing for David’s Bridal now? She got this entire look off Pinterest. All she needs to complete the look is a wine goblet made from a Mason jar.
Looks like a bridesmaid dress you rent from a wedding rental store.
Like the color, as it shows up her reddish hair, but the fabric must be cheap as it is wrinkled! wrinkled! wrinkled.
I love this color on her, and the shape isn’t bad either. It’s a fine going-out-to-dinner dress. I honestly think women don’t realize how much those wrinkles show up in a flash photo and this probably looked perfectly adequate in person. This is a “black tie gala” however, so a gown with a bit more pizzazz would have been far better. The hair’s edging toward helmety, but I kind of like the hair jewelry. I give her a 6.5 out of 10 for this.
Her face and hair are gorgeous. The simple makeup really brings out her beauty. Too bad the dress is a disaster.
What can I say? I like it. She looks great and she looks very real which is refreshing. And to all of you who thinks it looks bridesmaid-y, all I can say is that I wish I had been given something like this to wear when I was a bridesmaid.
The shiney, it hurts!
Cute. Pity she couldn’t have arrived standing. TLomobile, to the rescue!
Hmmm. Looks like what Chloe Dao did on PR way back in what, season 3?
Very pretty dress and the color is great on her, but when will ladystars remember that unless they have a personal gay trailing after them with a steamer that satin is NOT their friend on the RC?
pretty color on her tho.
The fit of this dress is clearly not good. The area of the bust appears to be constricted by too small arm openings. The only nice things are the color itself and the diamonds in her hair.
Christmas was last month honey.
wrinkles aside, love it. love the color. love the neckline. love the back. love the bow. love the pleating. the shoes are a little iffy — maybe nude next time instead? and please wearing your earrings in your ears and not in your hair. that’s odd. and add a bangle or two.
terrible. wrinkled. disaster.
This is what the Fug Girls call “The Evils of Satin,” and for good reason. It’s a great color on her, but the fabric and the shoes are tragic.
I like the color on her but the dress…not so much.
Lose the front bow, invest in an iron.
Did she borrow this from a slightly larger somebody who’d already been wearing it for a few hours?
Cheap prom dress and her BFF did her hair.
Bridesmaid who just got back from having wrinkled sex in the limo with a groomsman.
I want to like it; but it’s kind of a mess. Pretty girl, pretty color and material, but it’s massively wrinkled and it’s not fitted; needs
some extra length too, to give the satin some elegance.
She seems like a sweet girl. I just can’t abide the hair. It looks like it was from the night before.
All I see are wrinkles.
