The dress and accessories look great, but I do wish she’d gone for a looser ‘do. Shoes are a little bland as well.

    • bookish

I love a black and gold combo.

    • Clueless_Jock

      No critiques from me…

    • JasmineAM

Visual Ambien from the waist down.

Totally! Somehow she took all the sex out of the look even though she styled herself similarly to the model. Killer earrings though.

    • pookiesmom

I really love this. Chic, simple, fun. She looks great.

    • Sobaika

Cute but boring. Needed better makeup, jewelry, shoes, and hair.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_3JSTXMWWVZN2QNP2UEKJMTWD7U Isabel

But the earrings are fab, no?

        • Sobaika

Very fab. She still ends up looking empty. I feel like she needs bangles or a necklace or something.

I think she looks great – LOVE the dress. Shoes could have been a little more interesting.

And I HAAAAAAAATE her show. Finally watched a few episodes a couple weeks ago and I wanted to shoot myself.

I would have gone with the models shoes and risked getting ding-ed for being too “off the runway” b/c those sandal-boots (?) have kick while those assistant bank manger, patent leather pumps do nothing for me.

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

Cute.  Not earth shattering but, still, cute.

    • LindsayGoon

The earrings don’t go, but otherwise, she look amazing!

    • charlotte

Pretty, but she should have accessorized differently.

    • filmcricket

Those shoes are described as sandals in the caption. I’m presuming that’s direct from the publicist, but in what world are those plain black pumps sandals?

      • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

They’re pumps. Just a typo. I blame it on my cold that is likely causing me to be a bit delirious.  L  : )

    • kimmeister

She looks perfectly lovely.  I’m so glad she’s not wearing the abominable open-toed boots the model is wearing.

    • wisdomy

She looks great, but the runway picture is hurting my feelings.  Can we please, PLEASE, as a society, get together and agree that sandalboots are an abomination and need to be killed with fire?

      • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

        YES, YES, YES!!!

      • mhleta

        Oh, fug yes!

    • jw_ny

Very pretty.  I’m not crazy about those earrings, but do think that it is the perfect look to go with a bolder earring.

    • teensmom99

She looks like a grown up here (in a good way).  I would have said more exciting shoe and I would have kept the jacket.  It needs something up top but hard to imagine the jewelry that would work with the gold.  But really great as is–not a WERQ but with a few tweaks it would be.

    • Qitkat

      Perfection! Love it completely.

    • nannypoo

Beautiful dress and it looks great on her. I like the shoes with it, too. Not everything in an outfit needs to traffic-stopping. The model’s distracting and absurd footwear is an example of what I mean by this.

    • MilaXX

      should have worn the jacket

      • tereliz

        Bingo

    • http://www.facebook.com/darva.sutra Darva Sutra

Love the dress, earrings, and her makeup is perfection!  I don’t hate the severe ‘do but it is giving her a bit of the pinhead, and the shoes look possibly too big/clunky?  She needed more interesting shoes to balance out the very pretty bodice of this dress.  I agree, sandal-boots are WRONG 99.999% of the time.  The sheer amount of confidence, fierceness and bitchface needed to carry them off doesn’t exist in the regular population.

    • gabbilevy

She looks great. I like that she kept it simple–chic.

    • ThaliaMenninger

      Way too old for her.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1401197785 Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

I wish she had opted for the jacket, but I love the earrings with it!

    • Imasewsure

Looks boring without the jacket… like gladiator day at the office…

      • l_c_ann

Are we sure the jacket has sleeves, or are those just flaps?

        Love the top, anyway.

        • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1355527007 Rain Jezek

Huh, that’s really interesting. I like how it looks, but I wonder if it has tiny little zippers so you don’t get a cold breeze across your back all winter. If it takes off as a trend maybe they’ll become very stylized like in this portrait of Elisabeth of France: http://www.gogmsite.net/iberian_dress_in_the_1600s/subalbum-isabel-de-borbon/1615-elizabeth-of-france-by.html

    • Maluca

I really like everything about the look. Simple and chic!

    • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

Love the top of the dress. The skirt, though — all that seaming makes it look like a suit skirt, which makes it look like her top half is going to a soiree and her bottom half is going to the office.

    • mhleta

Interesting top, fabulous earrings but the overall effect is oddly pedestrian. Something different on the bottom could have kicked this to another level. Like…leather pants or…a black skirt with some texture to it? Those toe sandal/boots on the model are kinda gross. Loved them till I saw her digits sticking out.

    • http://twitter.com/SharonAJJ Sharon Jessup Joyce

I love it. Just enough glitz with the top, earrings and heels of her shoes, and everything else simple and classic.

    • rloliveira

Oooooh. I like. Elegant, clean, perfect.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Julie-Chase/731391326 Julie Chase

      Very pretty.

    • procrastinatrice

That is a classic and beautiful look. AND she is glowing. Nice job!

    • http://www.facebook.com/AdriannaGrezak Adrianna Grężak

What I always like about her pictures is that she looks so genuinely happy to be there

    • jmorino08

I really, really love this look. She is gorgeous to start with and this just seems to suit her perfectly!

    • Snailstsichr

I think she is finding her style!

    • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

She looks pretty and I’d cut her for that jewelry, but I really don’t like the material on the skirt. Even on the model, it looks faded.

    • marilyn

      She looks great

    • http://twitter.com/delysia_lafosse Delysia LaFosse

I think better shoes would make a huge difference to this look…

    • mmc2315

      I approve!

    • Natalie Bryan

I think the dress is beautiful, but am I the only one who thinks all those little embellishments would catch and pull your arm hairs? Ouch!

    • librarygrrl64

Simple is the way to go when a lot of metallic is involved. I think she looks great.

    • http://twitter.com/TheRunwayQueen Amanda Fields

One thing missing? A red lip!

    • LLuL

Boring until the close up. Love the detail on the top of the dress! I bet she looked amazing in person.

    • quiltrx

I love the top.  I can’t figure out what I don’t like about the rest.  But something just isn’t clicking.

    • H3ff

This girl usually dresses well. She is pretty and she has a slamming bod. My problem with her is that she always looks like a deer in headlights. Her smile just looks so forced; it is really more of a grimace than anything. She may just need more time in the spotlight though.

    • Frank Lithium

      Not bad.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000905542323 Rhonda Shore

Prefer it with the jacket but it gets hot under the lights…

    • neofashionista

      gorgeous as always
      I love her
      and I covet those earrings
