Top 15 BEST 2012 Red Carpet Looks, 10 to 6

Posted on December 27, 2012

Kittens, what we like about this list so far is that it’s full of people who don’t exactly have stellar red carpet records. In other words, there are a lot of “personal bests” on this list and that fills our hearts with warmth because we’re all about the positive reinforcement here at T Lo Worrying About Celebrity Feelings, Inc.

Onward, bitches.

10. Robert Pattinson in Gucci

Robert Pattinson attends ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ World Premiere in a Gucci suit paired with Bally shoes.

You don’t have to wear a beautifully fitted green Gucci suit to get on our list, but it definitely helps.

9. Tina Fey in Vivienne Westwood

Tina Fey attends the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in a Vivienne Westwood dress paired with Fred Leighton jewelry and a Roger Vivier clutch.

A polish and sophistication she hasn’t shown before; or at least, not on this level. This is such a personal best for her that we find it hard to believe she’ll ever be able to top it. The very definition of “looking spectacular.”

8. Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe.

Karolina Kurkova attends the Met Gala 2012 in a Rachel Zoe Collection gown paired with Sergio Rossi shoes and Fred Leighton jewelry.

Because sometimes, you just need a supermodel to show you how to have fun with your fashion. It’s all a game of dressup and we all have our own full-length mirrors to vamp in front of.

7. Carey Mulligan in Prada.

Carey Mulligan attends the Met Gala in a Prada dress and shoes paired with Neil Lane Jewelry.

A choice that surprised us, but she really nailed it on how to take her prim, English Rose style and glam it up for the New York Fashion World. She’s serving up 21st Century Hitchcock blonde here and prior to this, we wouldn’t have though she had it in her.

6. Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji

Octavia Spencer attends the Oscars in a Tadashi Shoji gown.

The world shouldn’t need yet another lesson in how women over size 6 can rock the high-end fashion, but Miss Octavia was more than game to demonstrate it once again, showing up at the Oscars in a personal-best look for her.
