      Bridesmaid dress.

      • Patricia Gillett

        With bridal shoes.

        • Introspective

          And a flower girl’s face.

          • Violina23

Poor thing will look twelve until she’s at least 40… :P

            • http://twitter.com/HeckYeahHeckNo KC

That’s actually probably a good thing in the industry she’s in! She can play teenagers for a very long time!

        • Kristin McNamara

Bridal shoes that are way too big for her!

    • StellaZafella

      Too many bows…so little time.

    • MrsMaxPower

It’s kind of like a mullet in dress form…business in the front and (3-year-old princess) party in the back.

Those two hair wisps are driving me bonkers. I can’t tell if they’re intentional but they’re incredibly distracting.

    • quiltrx

      Cute if bridesmaids-y.

Does anyone else think she looks like one of those big-headed Bratz dolls?

      • Carly Warnock

        yes!!! exactly like that!

      • kikisayshi

Haha not until I read your comment but yes. Much to my kids’ dismay, Bratz are banned in our house. Skanky dolls.

      • shopgirl716

She looks like an anime character to me.  Huge eyes and dark hair.

    • http://twitter.com/aidanboleyn Aidan B

I’d love it without the bows! The mod look works for her, surprisingly. I wouldn’t have pictured that.

    • kimmeister

Now I can see why some have said that she reminds them of Octavia Spencer.

    • TieDye64

Kind of cute, but the big shoes make it look like she playing dress up. Not crazy about the bows.

    • librarygrrl64

I love it from the front; fresh and pretty (although I wanted some statement earrings with it).

    • Trisha26

Between the bun, the cat eyes, the salmon fabric, and the bows I’m on twee-overload.

      • http://remedialstitcher.blogspot.com/ Sara Leigh Merrey

I have to agree. It’s not working for me on any level.

    • http://www.flickr.com/photos/21151157@N00/ rawrgrowlrawr

Cute, but probably not in the way she intended. She looks like an eleven year old.

    • BrooklynBomber

      Meh.
      (not her, the dress)

    • MilaXX

Not crazy about the shoe, but otherwise cute.

    • formerlyAnon

Good shoes might have saved this. I think the hair is good with it – wearing it down would have turned it into a party dress for a sweet sixteen party. One that you took mom or grandma to the mall to help you pick out.

    • kikisayshi

She looks super cute from the front, if not a bit wide in the hips. Love the color. Hate the shoes. Not sure about backless (or semi-backless) on a gal under 20.

      • Carly Warnock

        she’s 22.

        • kikisayshi

Seriously, I never would have guessed.

          • Carly Warnock

it is very surprising! i think i found out when she was on ellen. i can’t believe her costar is only 14 though, arielle winter (i think is her name) looks older than sarah hyland imo.

    • bookish

Cute from the front, but the bows take it over the top.

    • Imasewsure

I could handle the dress with some kick ass shoes and JBF’d hair maybe…. something edge-y to tone down the sugary goodness here. Definitely needed a biker jacket or Doc Martens or at least those black hoof-heels that we’ve seen twice already this week.

    • Imasewsure

NOT the look I was going for at 22 (essentially Chrissie Hynde). I can’t imagine wanting to look like this at that age… I thought she was 14 or something… wow!

    • http://twitter.com/watchinginkdry Krysta

      NO. HATE EVERYTHING.

    • http://twitter.com/yessveee Sarah V.

      Cindy-Lou-Who went to ballet class.

      • filmcricket

I was going to say “…got a party frock” but yes, exactly.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

      Zzzzzzz…..

    • julesj

      Who is she?

      • julnyes

         She is on Modern Family.

    • throwaneyeonthis

She had a kidney transplant earlier this year.  One of the side effects of anti-rejection drugs is a round face which has the effect of making her look younger.

    • crash1212

My first thought was – needs a belt – then I saw the bows. NO. Just….no. Also, those are about the ugliest shoes on the planet and I half expected that they’d be Loubies because every shoe from that maker has some major ugly going on these days. Maybe this could’ve been saved, but something needs to be going on with the front and the hair needed to come down and the shoes need to be burned.

    • annrr

I am ok with the dress, but the hair and shoes wrecked it. With an updated Pricilla Presley up do and any other shoes would have totally worked. Her make-up looks awesome.

    • Isana Leshchinskaya

would be a werq for me if she had interesting shoes and some kind of pretty ear candy.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Bob-Sponge/100000465550991 Bob Sponge

The front is OK, but the bowties on her back make my eyes twitch.

    • http://twitter.com/LianaBrooks Liana Brooks

Isn’t she a glittery little pixie? *shakes head*

    • nannypoo

Her makeup is ridiculous. Actually, so are the dress and shoes now that I think about it.

    • ccm800

OMG not bridesmaid at all – she looks Retro Lulu ADORBS

    • frankystein123

That face is beyond creepy – total expanded version of a toddlers-and-tiara look.

    • RzYoung

Aw she’s so cute ! I’m assuming she’s super young? I would have killed to look and wear something like this at that age. As it happened I was in tie die, DMs and army surplus.

      • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

         22 apparently!

        • RzYoung

Oh blimey! I thought she was 12 or something!?

    • sarah jacobs

I loved how it completely references 1964-66, the shape of the dress, the heavy slightly padded fabric, the make up…in 1964 though her hair would have been sprayed into a nutsy shape.

I  love that it would have been a perfectly appropriate dress for her age group then..and still is.

      • H2olovngrl

As you can see below, I completely agree. Also, I agree that she is dressing just fine for her age. Who cares if she dresses young? 22 is still pretty young, so why do we need to slut her up or matron her up yet?

    • TRSTL

With better shoes and hair, this would all be working just fine for her.  I think she is adorable and has an infectious smile.

    • decormaven

This gal needs a professional stylist. This has no presence whatsoever- no accessories, no hairstyle, no bling. Hook her up with a pro and some real magic could happen.

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

She looks adorable, but sweetie, you’re 22 going on 23, not 16 going on 17…

    • Judy_J

      Cute.  Wish the shoes fit.

    • http://twitter.com/Nancer Nancer

I think it is really cute. Perhaps too heavy on the eyeliner, but very age appropriate otherwise.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1303837450 Lauren Dorsee Dillon

Christina Ricci’s contract with Bratz Dolls has apparently ended.

    • xmixiex

eh, cute, but boring.  needs accesories.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_U5LTVYHX32MGMMXR33G7TOXVR4 Magdalena Monzerrat Ontiveros

She is like a little chipmunk.

    • alyce1213

The fabric is so much prettier up close than from a distance, where you see no detail.
I like it; the shoes not so much.  She’s such a cutie pie.

    • H2olovngrl

I think she looks adorable. Very retro holiday party.

    • LeifBallard

      No thanks way too cutsie

    • j_anson

I have no idea how old she actually is, but she looks about 10 and this is kind of making me feel like an audience member at one of those skeezy child beauty pageants.

    • Polka_Dotty

She looks really happy in this dress. And isn’t that what fashion is all about?

    • Allison Woods

      Hiddy.

    • guest2visits

Kind of cute; but she’s totttling around in mommy’s heavy make-up and shoes.
There’s so much she could wear, but it gets ruined by a style of face paint that does nothing for her beauty.
