This one is so much better when he smiles. Love the details on the jacket, even if it’s too small.
Agreed. Even when he pulls faces, he looks like he’s having fun. But I still hate his hair.
Best dressed younger man on the red carpet by a mile of late- the only one giving him competition is the werewolf dude from Twilight. I still kinda don’t get it with this guy, but at least he is impeccably turned out.
I really don’t like his hair and I wish he’d get some media training for these things. I think this is a great dinner jacket, although it is hard to tell the way it is gaping. Is that because he needs to go up a size or because of the way he is standing? Admirable hems, admirable shoes.
He does stand so oddly- always at some weird angle. I’ve noticed it in all the pics featured on this site. Makes me want to tell him in my best school marm voice: Stand up straight!
what a cute little baby jacket!
Saw him in Songbird with Clemence Poesy, and now I swoon every time I see him, no matter what he’s wearing. But that suit is adorable, despite the pull on the obviously too-small jacket.
*Birdsong. DId you like it? Ugh, I couldn’t get into it, and felt pretty annoyed that I spent 4 hours watching it. The book is sooooooo much better.
Yeah, it was pretty boring, and it never really picks up any speed. But Eddie was charming anyway, and those two made quite a gorgeous couple.
Clemence Poesy is the best name I have ever heard. I’ve just spent the last 5 minutes coming up with names for her cousins: Mercy Composition, Lenity Verse, Benevolence Hymn.
I… maybe need a hobby.
The furrowed brow shot is cute.
He doesn’t have his hands in his pockets!!! He must have some sort of red carpet anxiety (not that I totally blame him), because now that they’re out of his pockets he can’t stop clutching them. Almost makes you feel bad for him. But not quite.
Looks perfect, except he didn’t shave, from what I can tell. Not that people are going to notice.
He was born to wear Thom Browne.
I don’t know who this is, but that jacket looks like its a size too small.
Thom Browne suits always look like that. only the young and slim can wear his clothes
can someone please take away his hair product?
I know nothing about men’s clothing, but isn’t the jacket a bit small for him?
It’s Thom Browne. Everything is a size too small. Actually his pant hems lack the designer’s usual flood walker length. To this day I can not understand the fashion swoon for this sort of look on a grown man. It makes a man over the age of 18 look silly.
It doesn’t help that Eddie doesn’t look much older than 18 anyway. He looks like he’s wearing his first big boy jacket.
Yes. I was surprised to find, when I googled, that he’s 30.
god is he teensy?
HE LISTENED! )
Hey, he gets major props for keeping his hands out of his pockets! The jacket is a slosh too short in the sleeve, and a bit tight across the chest. Pants are perfect, though.
Some where a little boy is missing his TUX!
I cannot deal with how short the jacket is.
He looks like he had a growth spurt in between grandma buying him the suit and his actual bar mitzvah. And I hate the hair.
His photos improve by miles when he smiles. And his hair is ALMOST styled into a Quiff, which would look fantastic on him. Instead he has been given horns with his hair on the sides brushed forward like that. Oh, and love the jacket.
you know why his hair is styled like that, right? He could definitely pull off a quiff, but he’s very obviously insecure about the amount of forehead he’s showing.. afraid it’s making him look like he’s got a receding hairline.. those of us with ‘fiveheads’ instead of fore (four) heads are usually careful about how much blank space up there we want to show.
Just how tiny is this guy? He looks Kristen Chenowith size in these shots.
Thank the lord his hands aren’t in his pockets. He looks cute!
What a cute, wee jacket.
He looks a little less odd than he did in the previous post. Still a lot like a cross between Jeff Kober and Ellen DeGeneres.
Overall he does look sharp, but I get a bit of a Pee Wee Herman vibe with the short coat and bow tie, and that ‘Caesar’ hair is kinda silly.
Marginally better than the previous shot- but the jacket is to small, and he’s overdoing the “Look at my watch” pose…and a well dressed gentleman would have a dress watch to wear with a tux.
Hate the JBF hair.
It looks like he’s trying to wear his big brother’s hair product and his little brother’s suit.
I can’t get past that bizarre hair. Here is a man with a great head of hair and he just looks silly with those matchings wings! What’s up with that?
Ok, I thought maybe some stylist had just done his hair like that once, but this looks like an ongoing trainwreck. Please just STOP!
OMG STOP THE PRESSES HIS HANDS AREN’T IN HIS POCKETS!!!! It’s an early Christmas miracle!
That hair is all kinds of insane and the jacket is comically small. Oh, Eddie. Bless ya.
I think they must have put the wind machine in the wrong place, since it was clearly blowing into the back of his head, rather than from the front.
After seeing him in iridescent blue and teal velvet I’m a bit disappointed in this one.
The jacket is a little small, but I love the design of the tux.
he looks positively fetal in these pictures!
If you’re intentionally wearing a jacket with a “too small” look, why not go whole hog and wear the high water pants as shown on the runway?
That’s a real question. I’m wondering. Because it’s an awkward look this way that makes me wonder if the jacket is intentionally thus or just does not fit. Probably those more in tune with men’s fashion wouldn’t be wondering, but I do.
Like most of the world, he looks even better when the smiles engage his whole face.
Hair still bugs.
I see he’s been working on the sexy smile (as I suggested LOL)! Love the 4th pic…looks like he’s practicing his James Bond face or something!
The blazer is much too short – still looks okay – he looks about 12 in those first few pics where he is smiling. Reminds me of a private school boy who’s growing out of his uniform too quickly.
This one cannot stand straight. But he looks better with a smile.
I’ve tried but I don’t like this dude at all, either on the RC, the TV or the movies
He reminds me of Joel Grey. Soon as there’s a remake of Cabaret, he’s got a part waiting for him. Great tux; jacket a wee short on him, but he’s pulling off the look.
I guess when they can’t tell Eddie, ”Take your hands out of your pockets!”, T and Lo don’t really have anything to say to him. Sadly, “Hem your pants!” doesn’t fit, either.
he is just sooo adorable
ugh.. stop fidgeting and be confident in your great look and that gorgeous tux… now we know why his hands were stuffed in his pockets in the McQueen suit.
Too bad about the stupid hair. He’s so cute — I wish I could kiss him on the his little freckled nose.
I can’t help it — I love Thom Browne! It’s all very school boy and I like it.
FINALLY no hands in pockets!!!
I find his hair so confusing.
He is trying so very desperately to keep his hands out of his pockets.
Well. His jacket doesn’t fit. But he looks adorable.
