Very nice! Nicer than the model version, but then I love Mary Katrantzou’s work.

    • Gabriella M

      I waaant this dress.
      Oh and she looks good.

    • bertkeeter

      OVER all these mural prints!

      • Kristin McNamara

Didn’t TLo feature this dress a few months ago, when some other starlet wore it, and we all hated it for looking like a “postage stamp” dress? I feel like that was this dress….. And I still don’t like it. haha

    • foodycatAlicia

I preferred the print on the one Kerry Washington wore, but this is a better shape. I think this is how it is supposed to work, challenging, eyecatching shape on the runway, modified for real world wear.

      •ía-Gavello/1253586868 Lucía Gavello

I agree, I also think the colours looked better against KW skin tone. But Bella here looks very pretty nonetheless, love the clutch and bracelet too.

    • Wendy Ann

Love the updated version with the cap sleeves.  Mary Katrantzou’s work is great, it makes me smile :)

    • mjude

i like the fitted look so much better

    • Janet B

The model is wearing the beach towel version of that print.

    • Sobaika

I’m glad that at least hers is fitted, as opposed to the models.

Her hair is a bit of a mess.

      • Cassie

Yeah, the hair is weird. But the dress is fabulous and looks great on her.

      • ankali

The hair is the only thing not working for me here. Instead of sexily tousled, it just looks unbrushed.

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

This looks great.  I just wish she had brushed her hair.

    • DeborahJozayt

I think if the birds got into a fight while on the dress, that’d rock.

    • Julie Chase

      Love this!

    • lrober03

I love the way the clutch’s spikes call back to the print on the dress.
I wish she’d known the carpet would be black so she didn’t wear matching shoes.

    • sweetlilvoice

I adore her and the dress is lovely, very ladylike. Great makeup too.

    • Introspective

really great fit and the print is cute without being girly. accessories are good, as they dont compete, and while hair/makeup could be better it does the job.

      overall nice work bella.

    • Insidiously

      Shoes? What shoes?

Her feet have been dipped in invisible ink!

She shoulda taken one of the less dominant light colors and made that her shoe, because right now you can’t see it.

      • foodycatAlicia

There’s a sort of teal colour around the waistline which would have been perfect for the shoes – it’s almost the same colour as her eyes look in these pictures.

    • shirab

Totally thought that was Alexis Bledel (is that her name, the younger Gilmore Girl?) from the thumbnail.

      • Tatiana Luján

They are very much alike. It’s the enormus blue eyes.

      • schadenfreudelicious

If Alexis Bledel and Heather Graham had a baby….

        • foodycatAlicia

… it’s have eyes like Amanda Seyfried!

    • MilaXX

      Better than the model

Ugh. I get so tired of the “brush your hair comments”. My hair is the same color and texture as Ms. Heathcote’s and I can tell you that is exactly what it looks like when you brush it. Y’all are giving me junior high bully flashbacks.

That said, she’s a movie star and I have to believe that somewhere on Earth there are people and products that can make hair like mine look polished. She is making this dress work! It is fantastic with her hair and eye colors and the shape is just right for her figure. Lovely. I keep going back and forth on the clutch but I think I’ve landed on “like it”.

      Satin shoes are yuck.

    • Victoria Weinstein

Never heard of her, thought she was Zooey D. Very cute outfit, love the dress fitted.

    • Sara Leigh Merrey

I love this dress! She looks cute.

    • Darren Nesbitt

I thought these intricate prints were meant to fool the eye into a small waist with curvy hips. She looks like Ms. Boxy-bottom McGee from the waist down. (Or is ‘curvy’ a code word for fat today? if so my bad)

    • Sarah Caponigro

      Love and clutch lust.

    • Jessi03

She looks incredible.  I love this dress!

    • sleah_in_norcal

what’s inside the envelope near her crotch, a love letter?

      • kschwarting

Yeah, that’s the one thing that bugs me about the dress–the framing of the crotch.  With that said, she looks great and is pulling this busy dress off with aplomb.

    • Jessica O’Connell

Kind of love it… would never pull it off, but I want anyway!

    • Jellybish

      Love this, love her.

    • Sarah V.

I love the shit out of this (and her).

    • Molly

God, she looks just like Rory Gilmore.  And the dress is gorgeous.

    • belfebe

Lurve.  She looks better than the model.

    • tereliz

Definitely an improvement over the runway look. I find that I shake my head in confusion during her RTW shows, but then I wind up loving the iterations that wind up in the real world. Still, Katrantzou is one of my favorite designers right now just for the fun factor and her ability to match patterns that, well, just shouldn’t go!

    • jw_ny

amazing how that bold print does not overwhelm her…she looks great.

    • BobStPaul

Much better version than the runway one.  She looks great in it.

    • Ass Kicking Adviser

Better on her than the model. Love the cap sleeves and the purse. Love it!

    • marilyn

It is a fitted dress on her, which makes it better than the runway version.

    • Louise Bryan

I’m glad someone got around to putting on a shoulder.  It looks much better with than without sleeves.

    • marlie

Cute dress! I like the version on Bella better than that on the model.

    • Vera

      Super cute as always.

    • Allison Woods

I like it quite a bit except for whatever is going on atop the ladybits.

Well…if she had brushed her hair, maybe. And changed the shoes. I just really love the dress, jewelry, and the clutch.

    • A. Lure

The design is so elementary (even with the little sleeves) as to rely entirely on the print. And the print– this a matter of taste– is too busy for me. There’s some beautiful motifs there, and the print depicts a wonderfully evocative narrative, but in the aggregate, it’s a bit too much to look at. So many elements that may be connected in narrative are non-congruent to one another in the aesthetic placement.

    • librarygrrl64

I’m glad she went with a more tailored version of this. She is tiny, and the original would have been wrong proportionally. Love the clutch.

    • RzYoung

loveitloveitloveit. I want to be this girl, it’s ridiculous!

    • decormaven

Cute dress, but she looks a wee ticked off in the pics. “Me, pose for a photo?” Hon, you’re there to have your photo snapped. You’re not being asked to do anything more than look pleasant. A little smile in the eyes, and this look would be elevated 1000%.

    • Cathy S

This is a fabulous dress. I like it with the modifications too, better than the model version.

    • Nancer

      Absolutely perfect.

    • RocknRollmom

I generally don’t like prints.  I love this dress and on her.  The version on the model—not so much as it looks like a beach towel.  I covet the clutch.  Is it a Bulgari?  Perhaps Target will make a knock off for me!

    • guest2visits

Very cute.  And much nicer than the model’s beach towel.
