The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 Red Carpet
We’ve highlighted most of the major players, so let’s do the rundown on everyone else at the Twilight premiere. Or at least, the ones we feel like talking about.
Hit it, second stringers!
AJ Michalka in Keepksake
That’s a great color for her, but that lipstick is giving us agita, the hair looks ridiculous, and sheer skirts over other skirts are only marginally better than sheers over granny panties.
We love the construction on the bustier but the skirt feels like an afterthought.
A pretty dress in a great color. We go back and forth on whether we like the shoes.
Kudos for wearing a print but this looks a little bed-sheety.
Ashley Tisdale in Free People
Enh. Feels a little 2008.
Bella Thorne in BCBG Max Azria
This is a little mean – like that’s ever stopped us before – but the dress looks kind of cheap.
He looks fine, but we’re sick to death of grey suits with black shirts and black ties.
Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.
Jacket doesn’t fit and the boots are painfully wrong. But hey, at least it’s not a black shirt.
Christian Serratos in Zac Posen
Pretty. Classic. No complaints here.
Trains stapled on to mini-skirts will never not be tacky to us. We kind of like the skirt, but the bodice is terribly overdone.
Elizabeth Reaser in Carolina Herrera
Pretty color. Kinda wish she’d worn her hair up, or at least away from her face.
Jackson Rathbone in Calvin Kein
Okay, let’s amend our earlier complaint: we’re sick and tired of shirts and ties that match the suit.
Judi Shekoni in Ilja
Pick a skirt and stick with it. Had this been a gown, we’d like it a lot more, even if the bodice looks a little Star Trek-y.
Julianne Hough in Kaufmanfranco
YOW. Cray-cray on display. This is AWFUL. Ryan Seacrest is crying salty tears.
Kellan Lutz in Z Zegna
Okay, now we have to amend our complaint even further. Dark suits with dark shirts and ties are bad enough, but when you match your shirt, tie, lapels and shoes, you should be sent home to start over.
Very sweet. Love the POC with the shoes.
Maggie Grace in Bibhu Mohapatra
We’re seeing a lot of this shade of green lately on the RC. It’s a tough color to pull off, but Maggie’s the right girl for it. We think the dress is slightly overworked, though. And that pink lipstick feels wrong.
This girl desperately needs some advice. We get that she has religious reasons for remaining covered up, but you can do it without looking so frumpy.
He looks like a porn director.
Molly Sims in Naeem Khan
Way too loungey-looking. We don’t like that print at all.
Nikki Reed in Versace
That dove grey is a pretty color, but we don’t like the embellishments in the bust and bodice.
Saoirse Ronan in Simone Rocha
We’re trying to come to terms with the manshoes trend. These are cute, but we really don’t think they work with such a sweet little dress.
Well, she’s certainly sticking with the vampire theme. We don’t love the dress, but it would look so much better if she got rid of those boots. If you have to wear boots, fine; but camel was not the right color to go with.
Taylor Lautner in Z Zegna
Fairly close to perfect. We would’ve liked a tie that provided more contrast, though.
