Miranda Kerr in NYC

Posted on November 26, 2012

She’s just fucking with us now, right?

Miranda Kerr carries her adorable pup as she makes her way around New York City.

Like, it’s not enough that she looks so spectacular walking down the street that we don’t quite believe she’s human, but now she’s got to add a ridiculously adorable dog to the mix too? That’s not playing fair, girl. The ladystars who get papped on the way to Starbucks looking like shit? They all hate you right now.

My dog would *freak out* if I attempted to carry her around like that, but she’s a bit larger…18 pounds or so. Also her legs look outrageously long (in a good way) in those jeans.

  • StellaZafella

This IS her looking like shit… I’d be mad but I just can’t.
And the dog is almost stealing the shot…almost.

    • I honestly believe that she would read this post  and go: “Seriously? My bun is semi sloppy and I’m not even wearing kitten heels!”. She could come out of a colonic looking like that.

    • Terrie_S

       Eh, my dog’s cuter.

  • So cute. Brilliant use of flats.

    • RebeccaKW

I love the shoes, but I also love that even a gorgeous model can look look like she has canoes on her feet when wearing loafers.  My size 10s look ridiculous in anything pointy-toed or with a long toe like this (I don’t know what that part of the shoe is called, but I hope you catch my drift).  I don’t feel so bad now-I look like Miranda Kerr!*

*We both have 2 arms, 2 legs, a head and torso.

      • mellorcr

I was thinking maybe it was a side-effect of the skinny jeans, but I think your reasoning makes sense!  Canoes is right!

      • Seriously. Every time I see a model with ridiculously long-looking feet and think, “Ooh, she looks amazing, and I love her shoes,” I get over my complex about my size 11s a little bit more.

        •  Seeing as models are usually quite tall, I’d guess that you’d find MANY size 11s among them.

      • Orange Girl

Ha! Yes, I look just like her too….from the ankle down.

  • How nice that she chose an accessory, um I mean, pet, to perfectly accent her shoes.

    • Deb_Lynn

she has a whole wardrobe full of ’em

      • I figured as much.  There’s a kennel, attached to the dressing room.

      • DeborahJozayt

        Oooh. That’s a wardrobe I wouldn’t mind having!

  • Nice how she coordinated her shades and shoes with the dog.

  • Introspective

so loving the glasses, the flats, the bag that doubles as my mortgage, the super skinny jean and the oh so adorable dog. all that shit makes me happy despite my burning envy for miranda’s superhuman abilities to look fab in any and all contexts…

we can all give up trying now. thanks.

  • Deac82

That dog has a Vogue cover…google her Vogue Italia cover “Vision of Femininity”

  • It took me a moment to realize that papped meant papparazzied and not pap smeared.

    • charlotte

       Same here.

      • DebbieLovesShoes

        Same, here here!  Ha.

  • charlotte

Just imagine her other arm carrying her ridiculously adorable child! We’d all be fainting.

  • l_c_ann

The rest of us, mere mortals that we aspire to be, would find that lovely blouse shredded by little doggie toenails.  Please don’t tell me her dog has a manicurist to solve that problem.

    •  And a colorist, and a stylist, and a publicist.

  • filmcricket

Black sheer shirt, skin-tight jeans, & a purse dog. These are all things I despise, and yet she looks pretty damn fabulous. That’s what separates the models from the mortals, I guess.

  • lalahartma

    Those jeans look painful.

  • kathryn_dc

Is it the angle that makes her feet look huge? My mother once told me, “You don’t put tutus on elephants.”

    • bookish

I checked Wikipedia out of curiosity and it says she wears a size 8 US shoe, which is pretty average. But then, it also says she wears a dress size 6 and I really doubt that’s right.

      • PastryGoddess

That’s a fashion size 6 which is closer to a size 2 in real life

        • bookish

Thanks, 2 is the size I would have guessed just from photos from this site.

      • Wow, same size shoes as me. Other than the XX chromosomes I think that may be the only thing I have in common with this woman.

    • kimmeister

I think it’s the juxtaposition next to her super slim legs.  I seriously would’ve thought they were like size 10 shoes!

    • RebeccaKW

I think it’s the shoes.  I commented on that too.  Certain shoes really make the wearer’s foot look long, IMO.

  • LadyCelia

Now I’m trying to figure out how to properly coordinate my shoes and shades to my Great Pyrenees/English Setters when I take them  out for their walk.

  • Lisa M. (ReVoir) Kramp

That ‘Antigona’ bag is everywhere and we wants it, precious!

  • f_yeah_marie

Unlike most skinny celebs, she doesn’t look like she’s going to break in half due to the weight of her purse.

  • Those flats are just adorable, and I love the sunglasses.

  • Louise Bryan

I want her figure and her dog.  The rest I will let pass, but those two I need.

  • pookiesmom

She looks amazing as usual, but how is she not freezing her size zero ass off? It’s been like 40 degrees this week. Is she also impervious to weather conditions? Life’s not fair.

    • LP

Yeah, that was my first thought. She must’ve gotten out of a car and be walking 10 steps to a door. She doesn’t have to trudge around all bundled up like us New York mortals.

  • Pants_are_a_must

She utterly, utterly intends you to think she’s fucking with you. Because she is. This is 100% thought-out, head to toe. And the little dog too.

  • GorgeousThings

Forget the pooch, I want those shoes!

    •  Nine West makes a very similar and I’m sure much more affordable pair.

  • Judy_J

Very, very cute….both she and the dog.

  • gubblebumm

One, dogs should be WALKING…carrying it around means its a prop, two, that better be a rescue, and three,  she weighs 12 pounds, or just a bit more than the dog

  • I hate her, but I can’t deny that she looks adorable.

  • warnerave

she’s awesome but does she ONLY OWN ONE BAG? lol

    • I wondered if it a bag that she bought for herself and is therefore particularly fond of it.

  • J’adore those shoes.

  • Ow.  I think I broke my envy gland.

  • Allison Woods

At least her feet are too big for her body.

  • nannypoo

The dog would easily fit into that ridiculous bag and then she would have her hands free to do whatever else celebrities need to do. Wave at the fans or whatever.

    • SorayaS

That bag costs $2400!! I wouldn’t even put a pen in there for risk of it leaking!

  • Am I the only one who thinks those jeans turn her legs into sticks? And that they make her feet look big?
She’s physically incapable of looking bad, but it’s not a knockout like some of her past looks.

  • Jecca2244

she must be freezing!! ugh, i feel chubby.

  • decormaven

Fab, head to toe. I’m not even bothered by things that normally bug- huge honkin’ purse & pet du jour.

  • *bows*

  • Only the truly gifted…sigh. That goes for the dog too.

  • MaryAtRealityTea

So… what happened to that kid she gave birth to? Where’d it go? Sorry… I’m bitter. Celebrity moms are always waltzing around looking amazing and giving advice and it’s not fair because they have full-time nannies to watch their kid while they put on fantastic clothes that won’t get spilled on and go to the gym all day.

  • CeeQ

That dog is all kinds of cute!!

  • Esz

    She’s amazing.
And I remember when she won the Dolly model comp in ’97 😉

    Still want those sunnies.

  • quiltrx

    LOVE those shoes.

    Let’s all hate her. 🙂

  • Patricia Gillett

When were these taken because it’s friggin’ winter in NYC right now. She’s running around in tissue-sleeves? It’s not LA.

  • Watched a video of her for a magazine editorial once… it’s kind of cute how her dog was following her everywhere… but that still won’t stop me from ripping that blouse off her.

  • How is this note a WERQ? I’m too blown away to be angry.

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Love bag.  LOVE Sunglasses.  Why do people carry little dogs around as fashion accessories?  Not so keen on the dog.

  • Now that I’ve seen the look on a model with amazing style and a super long, slender body, I can definitively say that I somehow hate skinny jeans with flats in every possible incarnation.

  • the_valkyrie

Where can I buy that shirt???

  • RzYoung

You know what? She’s got HUGE great big massive feet. There, I found something! Phew. It was starting to get me down how perfect she is, but she’s got great big man feet and there ain’t nothing she can do about it!

    • procrastinatrice

I was struck by that too. What are those shoes, size 12?

  • Qitkat

What do gorgeous skinny bitches like her actually eat? do they eat? must be sucking itty bitty calories from the air she breathes. I’ll bet that dog eats more than she does.
    Cute shoes and sunglasses though.

  • She’s setting the bar extremely high for everyone else. Because the more pictures I see of casual Miranda Kerr, the more I’m gonna expect everyone in Hollywoodland to dress like this

  • Liz

I continue to think she is Jenna Louise Coleman.

  • Okay, she has big feet.  I feel a little better about life now. Just as long as I don’t look at her legs.

  • EEKstl

If there were a WERQ for a street look, this would be it.  And, is there some law that genetically perfect humans are mandated to have genetically perfect pooches?  Seems so.

  • Yes, a nice, stylish outfit for walking the dog, uh, walking around holding the dog.  Walking my 90-lb retriever requires sweatpants & good sneakers.  Talk about dressing for the venue….

  • Insidiously

    This bitch doesn’t age.

  • She can’t be human.

  • Lilak

If we know anything about Miss Kerr, it’s that she knows it’s in her best interest to ‘present’ herself every time she goes out.  And she’s one of the few in the business who always, always does.

And she may have large feet, but they’re not out of proportion to the rest of her, esp. with those long calves.  It’s the flat shoes – they are the ENEMY.

  • Where is she going all the time?!
