Lindsay Lohan in Donna Dashini

Posted on November 21, 2012

Lindsay celebrates her no-doubt short-lived return to relevance in her usual inimitable classy and elegant way:

Lindsay Lohan attends the premiere of her new movie ‘Liz & Dick’ in Beverly Hills, California in a Donna Dashini gown accessorized with vintage jewelry.

We’ve seen classier gowns at the Adult Video Awards. We’ve seen better makeup jobs down at the docks at 3 a.m. We’ve seen better dye jobs on easter eggs.

And we’re just gonna say it (as if we’ve been holding back before now): She looks dirty. As in, smelly. As in, she needs the full Silkwood treatment.

Clearly, whatever gays she still had lingering in her sphere have long since left, because we can’t imagine any gay allowing her to go out looking like this.

And can we please, FINALLY dispense with the oft-mentioned defense of “Well, it’s sad, because she’s actually kind of talented.” She is not. If she ever was, her addictions and drama have long-since obscured or eradicated whatever talent she might have. “Mean Girls” was a long time ago.

ugh.  the whole getup just screams “low blue book”.

    • JosephLamour

At least her hair is red again? And not AVN blonde?

      • lovelyivy

This is the only positive thing I could come up with too. Too bad her extensions are insane and a little bit pink.

      • StillGary

AVN? (I bet this is good!)

        • margaret meyers

          Adult Video Network?

          • JosephLamour

I knew it! LOL. What are you trying to say? 😉

      • Louise Bryan

I saw all those freckles and thought to myself, okay, she really IS a redhead.  The overall look, though, is sad, pathetic, desperate.

  • Vaniljekjeks

Is she sharing fashion secrets with Jackie Stallone?

  • decormaven

Child, I sincerely hope someone put back the dollars you got from this upcoming Lifetime movie, because it looks like the last paying job you’ll get. In the film industry, anyway. There’s more than lipstick applied to those lips. And the beading detail on that dress looks like teardrops of blood. It only reinforces the pain of seeing you toss away opportunities with two hands.

    • tereliz

There’s always the ADULT film industry! Which seems like the natural progression of things at this point…

      • YoungSally

Especially now that she is an adult.

      • lovelyivy

        She’s already done playboy, right?

      • charlotte

Now look at the title of the movie again….

    • Mismarker

“teardrops of blood” Yes! Even her dress is crying.

    • charlotte

Teardrops of blood or bloody bottle openers.

  • Srw27

Perhaps we should measure this in degrees: as in she looks “less smelly”, “less cracked-out”, “less 3 am hooker-ish”….

Okay, never mind.  She’s still a hot freaking mess.

  • Pants_are_a_must

Every time I see a promo of any kind for “Liz and Dick”, I want to punch someone. The absolute WORST Liz Taylor casting EVER. Even for Lifetime.

    • For Lifetime, it was perfect casting. They chose the most calculatedly ridiculous fame-whore jackass they could come up with with the tiniest acting chops to make a film with no pretense to actual artistic merit so that people who are interested in prolonged trainwrecks and snarky judgement of woefully misguided individuals (Lifetime viewers) would be compelled to watch. A travesty, to be sure, and a shameful treatment of Liz’s career and life story, but that’s not what they’re going for, so LiLo fit the bill perfectly.

  • homespunner

On a positive note, I like the freckled decolletage.

    • curiouserandcuriousest

Agreed. There’s a whole lot wrong here, but I don’t like kicking a person when they’re down.

      • Mike Owens

If you don’t kick her when she’s down, you’ll never have a chance to do it at all.

  • xmixiex

Like with Brit, I just don’t get it.  So much money, natural beauty under there somewhere, yet I look better on a slumming it to work the day before a holiday day.

    • Lori

One of the (many, many) problems she has is that there isn’t much natural beauty left under there. She has messed with her face so much that she doesn’t look like herself any more and never will again.

    • snarkykitten

I feel sorry for both of them because it’s obvious that no one in their circles is interested in their well being.

      • Britanny has family who forced her into the ucla psych center, and have had her in guardianship for years now. Her family cares. Lindsay Lohan has the worst family EVER!

        • snarkykitten

yeah I was gonna add that it seems like Brit’s family has realized she needs help (and helped her get it, and supported her) LiLo’s family, ugh.

        • librarygrrl64

Reprehensible parenting in her case. So sad.

          • AtticWife

I think the phrase “letting the fox guard the henhouse” was coined for the Lohans. Letting the exploitative, amoral, freeloading foxes guard the henhouse they’ve handily filled with coke and hookers.

  • My exact words on seeing this were, “Oh my God, what the,..huh?”
    Nuff said.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

Nuff said about sums it up.  This young woman could have been so much more.

  • formerlyAnon

Better hair, lose the dangling red things in the cutouts and a less blowsy makeup job and she’d look just fine in a retro ’30s cheesy sex bomb way.

Unfortunately, none of those are present. And she wouldn’t look a lot like the original Lindsey Lohan, but that ship sailed a while ago.

I still think it’s sad. And on a related topic, maybe I’ll google Paz de la Huerta to see if the portents are good or bad, there. Or, maybe not.

    (edited for misplaced apostrophe)

    • MilaXX

Paz was on either fug girls or gawker recently looking just as crazy as ever with a slightly bloated belly that many were hoping wasn’t a pregnancy bump.

      • formerlyAnon

Thanks, that’s as much as I needed to know. You’ve saved me 5 minutes on the google, which inevitably turns into 15 . . . or 30.

  • joancarol

    Poor baby…

  • LadyCelia

“Rode hard and put away wet”

    •  Sadly, not been put away, at all.

      • Anne At Large

More like rode hard and got left out in the rain afterwards. Those aren’t freckles anymore, that’s rust.

        • tereliz

          RUST! ROFL!!

  • ugh. i so badly want her to get it together! also, this movie looks like it’s going to piss me off with it’s crappiness but i will def not miss it.

    • tereliz

You can always make a drinking game out of it!

  • jerseyginger

She looks like the featured dancer at your local strip joint.

  • BrooklynBomber

What I want to know is what you guys were doing at the docks at 3 a.m. 😉

    • AthenaJ

If they told you, they’d have to kill you.

  • Lindsay Lohan USED to be talented. Then the drugs and hardcore life fucked her up. I still have hope for her. I see Robert Downey, Jr. and Drew Barrymore with a second (and in some cases third) career life and I go, “Hey, if they can do it so can Lindsay.”

    *fingers crossed*

With that being said, I ain’t watching the Lifetime movie. Only because I don’t watch Lifetime movies.

    • Mismarker

You know what is really sad? Watching her in the 1998 remake of Parent Trap.  She was adorable in that movie.  So vibrant and winning.  How far she has fallen.  I hope someday she is able to accept the help she needs.

      • J. Preposterice

oh. I can’t watch that anymore.  I get so upset for her.  Poor girl.

    • MilaXX

I so disagree. She was Disney kid cute before her troubles, but that’s it. Both RDJ & Drew made movies were they stole the spotlight. Drew in ET and RDJ in movies like Less than Zero and Chaplain. I still prefer the original Parent Trap over Lilo’s version and Means Girls was just an average movie to me. I feel bad that the fresh faced freckled child star from Mean Girls became this hot mess we see today, but i don’t see any great Whitney Houston style legacy being left behind.

      • Considering that Lindsay is only 26, she can definitely change it around and start something anew again. With the right help and people behind her (which does not include any of her immediate family members). And how did Whitney Houston get in the convo? lolol. Lindsay is light years BEHIND Whitney. Also, Whitney was recognized more for her brilliant singing than acting. That’s why I compared Lindsay more to RDJ and Drew. Meanwhile, I think Lindsay was phenomenal in “Parent Trap”. To the point that for years I thought she actually had a twin. “Mean Girls” is an awesome movie and I agree with someone below saying that Lindsay was not the sole reason why the movie was great. But she did a great job in the movie.

        • MilaXX

I added Whitney because she’s another one that was brillant as a child, but lost it due to addiction. I just think Lilo was an adequate child star. She was good in those movies, but I never saw the spark that I saw in RDJ or Drew. I sometime think onder if the buzz she garnered back then wasn’t more from her fresh faced look than any real genius. Either way I think whatever it was is gone. I think there’s an ever decreasing chance she can turn things around enough to have some sort of working career, but that’s it.

          • tereliz

It had to be her face, not her acting, that got Lindsey The Parent Trap. The accent she used for the British twin was horrendous and all she did as both girls for the first half hour of the movie was scowl—at herself, once they put the frames together.

But she was a cute little thing back then, wasn’t she?

          • And the truth is that “Mean Girls” is a good (not great) movie not because of her, but actually is a good movie despite her performance.

      • Little_Olive

Yes, all of that. Thank you

    • “Lifetime movie” is one of the reasons I won’t be watching Liz & Dick.  “Lindsay Lohan” is another.

    •  I think this too. I really hope for her, because she was talented and really vibrant. I really hope she gets the help she needs.

  • NC_Meg

    Lord have mercy. I can’t.

And about “Mean Girls” being a long time ago…it was eight years ago. Almost nine. Kind of crazy.

    • tereliz

Look how far Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams and Tiny Fey have come since then. Look at Lizzy Kaplan. Even Lacey Chabert has a pretty busy animated voice career, and she’s been in the entertainment industry since she was very young, too.

Lindsey has gone nowhere but down the tubes.

      • NC_Meg

Right? That movie is just a bullet point on everyone else’s resume but it turned out to BE Lindsay’s resume. (Not counting The Parent Trap because she was a kid.)

        • H3ff

EXACTLY. And considering how AS and RMA have become “serious actresses” in the meantime, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are even a little embarrassed about Mean Girls.

          • Mismarker

I really hope they aren’t embarrassed about a movie which was written by Tina Fey, did well at the box office, got mostly positive reviews and helped to launch their careers.

          • H3ff

Oh, you. I meant that it is very unlikely that they will do a similar film again. I love Mean Girls like nobody’s business, but it’s not quite Oscar material.

          • Mismarker

Both actresses have movies on their resume which have done less business and/or have received worse reviews than Mean Girls.  Movies like Jennifer’s Body, Red Riding Hood, The Time Traveler’s Wife.  My point being if they are going to be embarrassed by any of their work (some actors are not) perhaps there are other films on their CV they would choose to forget.  And whether or not either actress would deign to be involved in a similar movie remains to be seen.  Natalie Portman followed up Black Swan with No Strings Attached.  Anne Hathaway followed up Rachel Getting Married with Bride Wars.

  • PeaceBang

I almost started crying because I was so scared for her and of her. And then I realized that she’s totally channeling Jessica Rabbit with that horrific hair and then I had to laugh. And then I had a gay nervous breakdown and had to go for coffee. Jesus H. Christ, Miss Lohan. Jesus Herman Christ. Who let you out of the trashed hotel room looking like that?

    • joancarol

I wish I could like your post 5,000 times!

    • greyhoundgirl

Honey–you’re taking this WAY too seriously.

      • PeaceBang

Honey, you’re taking me WAY too seriously. Put on your TLo goggles and get back in the fun end of the pool.

        • greyhoundgirl

YES!!  I think we’re on the same page here–let’s have fun!  And thanks!

  • Little_Olive

She looks like a (somewhat precocious) brothel madam getting ready for bed after a busy night.

The thing is, it’s not even sad anymore.

  • dharmabum8

Well, she went back to red from the overprocessed blond that didn’t suit her. So, there’s that. Otherwise this is pretty garrish. I mean, I can see the outline of the giant hem sewn into the bottom of the dress. Sad.

    • RebeccaKW

That’s about the only positive comment I had for this.  At least she’s back to red.  Yea, not a great red, but then again, with the condition her hair was in, this is probably the best that could be done.

This ‘gown’ looks like a slip a day-hours stripper bought at the Goodwill and home-sewed into a stage costume.

  • Little_Olive

Something in me still roots for Brit. This one lost me completely (if she ever had me to begin with).

ETA: this was meant as a response to xmixiex up there… I don’t know what happened.

  • I assumed the eye make-up was a nod to Liz in her heyday.  The hair is unfortunate, but it’s those open diamonds with beads of blood that really make this a look from which to recoil.

OTOH the earrings are actually pretty good.

  • afabulous50

She does look dirty, hardcore and a mess.  And you’re exactly right…she has no talent.  I’m no longer sad for her.  She’s had plenty of time to clean herself up – physically, mentally, whatever…and has chosen not too.  She’s no longer a misguided teenager.  Time to grow up.

  • Yep.  Agree with every word.

  • Rachel Council

IA. And in reference to Mean Girls: Lindsay Lohan was not what made that movie great.

    • ChiliP

THANK YOU! I’ve always been a bit mystified by the whole “but she was so good in Mean Girls” argument. She was fine in Mean Girls. Most of supporting cast carried the movie and elevated her performance- she just had to be passable with the funny script she was given (frankly, she had the most bland character in the movie anyways).  Take away the excellent supporting cast, and a script not as witty or well-written, and I seriously doubt anyone would talk about LL’s performance in that movie.

All of that being said, I am very sad to see her struggle so publicly with what I assume is an addiction problem. It’s painful to watch, and I wouldn’t wish what she is going through upon anyone I know.

  • Actually I find it all very sad.  She was good in Mean Girls and Freaky Friday and she once was a truly gorgeous girl.  She destroyed her looks with plastic surgery and substance abuse and I blame her family actually.  No one stepped forward to take control.

    • Tamara Hogan

Her childhood may have been sh*t, but she’s now an adult. The responsibility for stepping forward and taking control is HERS.

      • Responsibility might be hers but the brain is a complex thing and she clearly isn’t getting the professional help she needs.  Support systems are not in place.  And its still okay to feel compassion for another human being, even her.

        • Wellworn

Yep, I still feel compassion for her.  It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth to kick anyone who is down.  Albeit down is still living a privileged actressy life, with much more money than I have.  I just think of how people made fun of Amy Winehouse (yes, way more talented, but still) and others who struggle with addictions, and I can’t.

          • formerlyAnon

Unless there’s someone taking better care of her money (without actually taking it) than there is taking care of her, I wouldn’t be so sure she’s got so much more money than you or I, were assets, debts and liabilities balanced out. If somebody thinks the privileged actressy trappings are good for publicity, and several other somebodies still believe there are future well-paying jobs out there for her, she could be living on smoke, mirrors and credit.

          • Wellworn

Oh, she has more money than I do.  Most people have more money than I do.

          • formerlyAnon

It is all relative, isn’t it? We’d probably neither of us take her money if it came at the cost of being her. I have less than many, but am fortunate in having enough materially and more than enough in other ways.  You sound (sorry if I presume) as if you are ‘coming from a good place’ as they say, and I hope that’s so.

          • Wellworn

Well actually, things are pretty dire for me right now.  I have lost my marriage, my home, and my job, am living thousands of miles away from my family and friends and am hanging by a thread, lucky to have a roof over my head (this month).  But I wouldn’t trade places with her.  I still have hope, faith, my sanity, and peace.  And my little dog.  So in that way, I am in a good place.  And grateful because it could be worse.

          • formerlyAnon

I wish you well, as little as that can mean from strangers on the Internet.

          • Wellworn

Thank you.  It actually means a lot.

          • “Down?” She’s on the red carpet at the premiere of her highly talked about TV movie, for which she’s been making the press rounds. It’s not like she’s wallowing in the gutter here, even if she does look like it.

          • Wellworn

Yes it isn’t down compared to many others (including my own life right now).  I mean the seeming mess of her emotional issues, family drama, legal screw ups, and possibly addictions that she is suffering with, that makes her down.  It’s all relative in Hollywood, but she’s not in a good place, and that is what I meant by down.

          • And she’s not being made fun of or criticized for any of those things. She’s getting the exact same treatment any star gets here.

          • Wellworn

Hey, it’s great that you are doing the fabulous job you always do, giving your opinions and critiques.  And I agree that she looks like a mess here.  It’s just your last paragraph, and then most of the comments here that gave me pause.  She is a sad case, and I just can’t this time.  But I love you guys!

          • We love you too, sweetie, but we just don’t agree with the idea that she needs to be treated with kid gloves. She’s a grownup – and has been for some time now. She’s endangered lives and cost the people who took chances on her quite a bit of money with her antics. She’s stolen, crashed cars, and has an all-around reputation for being quite nasty to deal with. She’s more than aware of her own problems and refuses any and all opportunities to change herself for the better and, against all reason, keeps getting opportunities and second chances that most people in her predicament would never get. All of this, and she’s never really proven herself to be any kind of major talent.

This isn’t to say that she should be vilified. We get that she has a host of issues and a shitty family, but we just don’t see her as some precious thing that needs to be coddled.

          • Wellworn

I can’t move beyond those first 5 words.  TLo loves me!  All is good.

          • You can feel sorry for someone without coddling them. It’s called Tough Love. I don’t know the girl but seems to me she and the rest of her family suffer from serious mental health and addiction issues. They’re pathetic and dangerous and should all be hospitalized/removed from society but I still pity her (not her parents-they’re just shitty people)..

          • Honey, we’re bitchy fashion bloggers. “Tough Love” is not in the job description.

  • Janet B

    Well…she’s wearing a nice earring.

She was a cute child, but that was so long ago.

  • annrr

Her eyes say it all, she makes me sad. What is with the bilateral thumb tattoos?  I’ld love to know what inspirational message she came up with at 5 a.m. when tattooing your thumbs sounded like a good idea.

    • RebeccaKW

“This is your left hand” and “This is your right hand”

    • Little_Olive

“Always remember: you have opposable thumbs. You are more than a primate” .

  • bookish

I still think she’s sad because she *was* talented way back when. “Mean Girls” came out when I was in college, and I have fond memories of going to an on-campus screening of it in one of the large auditorium classrooms with a really responsive audience laughing and cheering. It’s the lost potential that I find sad.

But yes, she looks plain ol’ horrible here, like a sleazy video game or cartoon character.

  • Damn Girl, you look like Paz De La Huerta cheaper poorer cousin. Get help.

  • I can see where she was going with this. The idea isn’t horrible, but the execution is and a pale dress against pale skin is always distressing. She wanted something vampy, stunning, and grown-up, a way to reinvent herself as a Grown Woman ready for Serious Things. Alas, she comes across as a trashy lingerie store model wannabe.

Can she afford to hire some gays? Someone with an ounce of fashion talent or sense? That would be nice.

    • BrooklynBomber

It’s funny because that’s pretty much my skin tone, and I would never, ever wear the color of that dress. But I have to say there’s something dramatic and old school about the white/beige-plus-shock-of-red. It kind of works, if in a Christmasy sort of way. (That doesn’t mean I think she looks good; just that the color story is effective.)

      • formerlyAnon

         Completely agree.

  • decormaven

In my fairytale world, I’m still hoping for Dolly Parton to step forward as her “guardian movie star” (Designing Women). But that’s in my fairytale world, where I’m a lot taller, thinner, and richer. Sigh. I’d say I’d like to see the footwear paired with this look, but my nerves probably aren’t up to viewing it.

  • Victoria Sharoyan

Oh God, the hair is frighteningly bad.

  • mjude

its all really tragic & then she looks like a complete mess.

  • tereliz

The dress is horrid, the makeup frightening, but I can’t see past the hair. She looks like she scalped the Little Mermaid, Buffalo Bill style. You know she was standing in front of the mirror earlier going, “I’d fuck me.”

She fucks herself, all right. And she keeps fucking herself. Over and over again.

  • Allyson Wells

You are so right… and she wasn’t even that good in Mean Girls! I’d say “Parent Trap” was a long time ago.
She is such a mess here… the hair, the makeup, that dress, it’s all just awful.

  • Dot

I honestly did not recognize her…she’s become a parody of herself.

  • bertkeeter

How old / young is she? I cant figure it out anymore….I like her carrying a tad more weight…but please lay of the lip fillers and botox…and the makeup is sort of freaky?
The dress in a better reincarnation ( w /o the  ruby dingle dangles…jesus?) may have been glam. Looks like she forgot to change out of her night gown.

    • Mismarker

She looks much older than her 26 years.

      •  Oh my gosh, she is only 26? That is sad. I figured she was at least 10 years older. I wish she didn’t get all of the press that she does, maybe then she could calm the f— down and get her s— together.

As to the dress – really trashy. She needs gays now!

    • Dot

She is starting to look like that plastic-surgery addicted cat lady.

      • CozyCat

I know.  My first thought was that she looks like someone in their late forties who’s “had some work done.”

  • Ugh.  You can’t have cut-outs in bias cut gowns.  The fabric can’t support the cut-out because it’s on the bias and it looks shapeless and cheap.  She just looks like a hooker down on her luck.  Her lips are an unnatural shape and she looks on the downside of 50.  Sad.

    • Adriana_Paula

Thank you for sticking up for properly executed bias cut gowns!  Jean Harlow is weeping right now.

  • Mismarker

That dress looks like sad, dirty lingerie.  God speed, Ms. Lohan.

  • mellorcr

At first glance I thought this was a drag queen doing a broke-down Bette Davis.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

After looking at this, I need a large glass of white wine and a nap.

  • “We’ve seen better dye jobs on Easter eggs.”  I almost lost my coffee over that one.  Maybe you should have a side job as comedy writers, TLo.  Some of your bon mots are tres bon, indeed.

I’m not sure why Lifetime gave her the part of Liz.  Someone in their corporate hierarchy had a serious disconnect when that contract was approved, given Lohan’s, shall we say, newsworthy, personal life.  (Unless this was all very devious, casting one bad girl to play another.)  I’m all for giving folks chances to leave behind bad decisions and start over, but the trouble is, she seems to always start over at the top.  Maybe a few years touring in regional theatre–believe me, those folks don’t put up with her kind of trouble, the schedule is too tight–would be a better way to once again reconnect with her profession and get grounded in reality.  I feel sorry for her, I really do.

Enough sociological musings.  Lohan looks trashy and terrible in every possible way, the very definition of “hot mess”.

  • deathandthestrawberry

Say something nice: Those earrings aren’t bad.

  • Judy_J

What a trainwreck this girl is.  I have no desire whatsoever to see that Liz & Dick movie.

  • silenusandme

to me she looks better than i expected or have seen in the past (i’m ignoring the dress)

  • BuffaloBarbara

The dress might have been okay without the rhinestone cut-outs in front.  Not great, but okay.  But they really make it tacky.  And she can definitely afford a better colorist!

ETA: And I think what’s sad about her is that she did squander away some talent. Not even “Mean Girls”–I liked her in “Parent Trap,” too. But really? These things are not permanent or indestructable.

  • Girl! That’s not your face!

  • Vera L-

Good God, does she have dirty fingernails or just a chipped mani?  Is she standing on the train (cough) of the dress in the first picture?

    Drugs are a bitch.

     Pull yourself together Linz!

  • Ednam0de

This is so sad, it doe sent seem real. Like she said, let me look the worst I could possibly look. And did anyone else notice that she was photographed with the first awful dangling jewel flipped backwards inside the dress. Awful on top of awful. Maybe she did that on purpose to truly make herself look as bad as possible. Get it together, girl!

  • Another website described this look as “Old Hollywood Glamor” and I laughed.

Dirty is right though.  There is a black smudge on her arm!  Couldn’t anyone throw her in the shower first?

    • formerlyAnon

Well, I’ll agree that “Old Hollywood Glamor” is probably what they were shooting for . . .

  • B_C_J

Her look is hard for such a young woman and that is a shame. Satin is a very unforgiving material to wear and the red hair is a bit garish but what truly lowers the look of this outfit are the jewels dangling from the dress.

  • What….what is that on her left arm?  Is that actually a line of dirt?  Or just a poorly covered up tattoo??

I wish she would just stop.

  • She looks like Courtney Love’s slutty sister.

    Well, sluttier.

  • lalagigi

With so many eager, beautiful, rising young starlets in hollywood who are not messed up and strung out, Lindsey can no longer rely on her past performances to keep her relevant in Hollywood.

  • MilaXX

ITA with her so called talent. I never saw it & if it ever was there it’s gone. She looks cracky here.  By cracky I mean this is what Whitney or Anna Nicole looked like when they were still using but not so much as to not be able to function. She has dressed better than this to appear in court. The hair and makeup looks like she did it herself, and not well. What is really sad is I think Lifetime hired her for this not so much for her skills as an actress, but for the attention having her attached to a project would bring. You know there are people who are going to tune into this movie simply to see how bad this movie is.

    • Anathema_Device

I enjoyed her a lot in Mean Girls, Parent Trap, and Freaky Friday. Those are the only movies of hers I’ve seen, I think. She was just so cute when she was younger and had a lot of onscreen presence.

  • kikisayshi

I shouldn’t even be surprised at this, but all I could think was, “What. The. F—?!” Did she get that dress from the back wall of the adult video store? And what the hell is wrong with the part in her hair? In summary, she looks like shit.

  • Bill Curtis

What’s tattooed on her thumbs?  A return address?  Her Do Not Resuscitate directive?

  • Mexxoo

I saw Lindsay’s face next to Raven’s face on the home page… Raven did it better.

  • Doesn’t even look like the same person after whatever procedures she’s had done on her face.

  • frannyprof

    This is just sad.

  • Kristina Toma

Did…did she just match her makeup to her boob jewelry?

  • She looks TERRIBLE. That dress is horribly unflattering (to be mild) and her hair and makeup are TRAGIC. Supeemaeket dye jobs are better than this. And it looks like she applied her lipstick with a paintbrush. And finally, for the love of god, she needs to stop with the cosmetic enhancements to her face!!

  • AmeliaEve

She looks like she got dressed in the parking lot in the back seat. Yikes.

The sad thing is, now that she’s done this movie, nobody is going to want to make another Liz & Dick pic for a while, and they are a great topic for a trashy miniseries. Just not with LiLo.

  • Kenisha Hill Phillips

    Pick up the pieces…

  • ghopping

Really? She’s looked so much worse, I kind of think this is a drastic improvement… I mean, it’s still not good, but on a scaled score for LindsLo, I think this would rank higher than that.

  • the_valkyrie

Rachel Mc Adams was the talented one in Mean Girls…

    • charlotte

I still think it’s hilarious that Amy Poehler played her mother.

      • the_valkyrie

It was the first time I saw Amy Poehler’s work (I was an ignorant teen when the film came out). She was fab in that role. Lohan was just pretty and vacant during the whole thing.

  • How about: She was really adorable in The Parent Trap (though Haley Mills was better, as was that movie)?

  • Sara__B

At least she looks clean. She doesn’t look as if she slept in her gown. Her makeup is nice. Her hair is red. (She’s the same age as my daughter, but Lindsay looks like a well-maintained 45-year-old. So sad.)

    • formerlyAnon

I’m with you but for the makeup.

  • Ick on LiLo, but I’m curious about he co-star, Grant Bowler…

    • Rand Ortega

Every review I’ve read says he’s the movie’s secret weapon.

      • Thanks. They don’t show enough of him in the previews.

        • Rand Ortega

ITA! Bowler’s very underrated. & while no 1 can capture Burton’s magic, he’ll at least make the movie watchable.

  • Jessica Rabbit on meth.  Jesus wept.

  • kayleymaybe

My god, she’s only 26 years old!

  • Wellworn

    Mean Boys, mean.

  • It’s difficult to believe, looking at these photos, that she is only twenty six years old.

  • I still love her; people shat all over Robert Downey Jr too when he was down in the dumps, but he sorted out his life and is the golden child again. She’s been dealt a tough hand of cards in life, and I think it’s the easy way out to keep picking on someone who is already down – she truly is talented, and if she’s lucky enough to meet some genuine and lovely people to stand by her while she gets away from her parents and sorts out her addictions, she might have another chance to shine yet.

    • AnaRoW

Thank you. You just summed up my feelings exactly. It’s weird how people hold RDJ up as some shining example of how to do things right when he was just as bad off as Lindsay was for years.

I do hope she stops doing whatever she’s doing to her face, though.  She’s not doing herself any favors.

    • I disagree very much. I don’t think you can compare RDJ with her, he did showcase talent before his dimise, what has Lindsay Lohan done? Meangirls? Her album??? I agree with TLo, there is nothing there to say “what a shame”. I am sorry for the twentysomething throwing her life down the toilet, but the world is not missing a major talent because of that.

      • Agreed.  Also, by all accounts RDJ has always been a sweetheart to deal with, and whatever his problems off-set, a total professional on-set.  You can’t say either of those things about Lohan.

      •  Yes – and he has come back to show that the faith people had in him was justified.

  • allyc

Let us at least rejoice her paleness and freckles. The rest is truly unfortunate.

    • Agreed.  That’s the one thing I’ve been thinking reading the comments – at least she’s not spray-tanned to death like usual.

  • random_poster

Way to go, handlers.  That’s the way to boost up her self-esteem.  NOT!

  • jw_ny

So…now we know TLo attend the Adult Video awards and spend time on the docks at 3am…the personal details keep slipping out.  😉

As for Lindsey…egads!   A failed attempt at old Hollywood glam.

  • The dress is like an Etsy Twilight-themed wedding gown. Just needs an apple.

  • Jillaine13

She looks cheap.  That dress and the cutouts with a bead hanging in each one like an advent calendar just takes it to another hellish level.  And is that her navel in one of the windows?  I’d say call the fashion police but she already has a date in real court looming.

  • prettybigkitty

What were you guys doing down at the docks at 3 a.m?

  • KC

Man…she looks like a desperate older woman (again DESPERATE, there’s nothing wrong with being an older woman) who just divorced her husband and is looking for a fresh young man to make her feel better about her life. He daughter is probably pissed that her mom keeps flirting with her boyfriend. At least she got a good chunk of change in the settlement.

  • hape_dex

She doesn’t even look like Lindsay Lohan, I had to look really hard to recognize her.

  • allaboutthewalterbenjamins

The Razzies need a new category. Worst casting. Also nominated is Zoe Saldana. Elizabeth Taylor is turning so hard in her grave that it will turn into a space rocket.

  • Anathema_Device

The dangly bits are just insane. And with this outfit, that’s saying a whole hellavua lot.

i do like the dark red hair, though.

    • i just wanna reach between her boobs and straighten out that top jewel.  then i’ll have to wash my hands.

  • warnerave

  • QuincyTKatz

On a positive note, now that she is no longer heroine chick thin, her body looks pretty slammin!

  • Colleen Robinson

Normally I look at pictures of celebs and feel worse about how I look. With Lohan I actually feel better about the way I look. I can’t believe she was cast as Liz Taylor, even in a Lifetime movie.

  • sweet_potato

Child needs to go home and get a muthaf*kin grip.

  • If you rewatch Mean Girls, she wasn’t that good in that either. The movie is pretty much entirely carried by the much more interesting characters played by Lizzy Caplan and Rachel McAdams.

  • If you hadn’t labeled this as being Lindsay Lohan, I wouldn’t have known who it was. She’s unrecognizable.

  • SewingSiren

What a shame. It could have been so pretty.

  • TieDye64

This girl is tragic on every level. And damn she looks OLD. The movie, on the other hand, looks like bucket loads of unintentional hilarity.

  • traceyishere

That dress looks like it was hiked up over her hips five minutes ago in the limo.

  • Rand Ortega

This may not be an appropriate question but, who is Donna Dashini? I can’t find anything on her via the Google. I wonder if Lindsay has such a tarnished rep, Donna Dashini is the only designer she could procure.
It’s not a good look for her, the dress, the hair, the makeup. But then, what is when you have that much pain to cover?

    • Great question. I couldn’t find anything on a Donna Dashini either. Hmmm…

      • Rand Ortega

Designers w/ pseudonyms? Dayum! You’ve really got to be on the down low to design under an assumed name…

  • Who exactly is Donna Dashini?

    • some flake who was sent home early on pr?  because this gown looks like it was designed and made in 3 hours.  out of fabric purchased in a thrift shop.

  • That dress is horrid, but I think this might be the best her hair and face have looked in YEARS. Which, compared to “Mean Girls”-era LL, is still pretty goddamn depressing, but whatever – gotta find the positive where one can, right?

  • DCSheehan

Hey, but she looks great for her age. What is she, 57?

  • rjeujune

I’m gonna be a sucker and at leat, TRY ‘Liz and Dick’, even thought Lohan as Liz Taylor makes me cringe, and Grant Bowler doesn’t look anywhere near good enough to play Burton. On the frivolous side, what has Lindsay done to her face, and how old is she, again, to have had something DONE to her face?

  • MidgeWood

I just saw pictures of the back of the dress… It made me want to hide under my bed and cry for days.

  • snarkykitten

Her plastic surgeon should be slapped

  • greyhoundgirl

    Oh, that poor girl.

  • The worst thing is the facial surgery or whatever it was/is.  Can it be undone?  It’s distracting and kind of horrific, and with the vacant look, gives the impression that the person she was, was somehow washed away.

  • TheOtherChristina

This is so bad it calls to mind the heyday of Tara Reid. But that might also have something to do with the inflamed cat nipples she’s sporting down the front of her dress.

  • StillGary

At first glance the colors (lip, dress, skin, hair) are all very pretty, like she was stepping in a positive direction — yes, I see how seedy this look is, but am still saddened. Obviously producers were not interested in making a quality biopic and I’m thinking this girl was too dim, drugged or desperate to see she was being used.

  • kittenwithaquip

The one positive thing I can say is: at least she isn’t supporting an aggressive spray tan. That shit is just wrong. And for once a makeup artist didn’t insist on making a redhead look yellow. I actually kind of liked her makeup until the close-up of her face; it looks like her lipstick was stenciled on. Creepy.

  • It’s appropriate that she’s dressed like Satine.  She looks like she’s dying.

  • spooki C

For her, she looks great, from the neck up. That dress is cheap and nasty and would look bad on anyone.

  • In the thumbnail I saw she went back to red and wasn’t wearing a spray tan and had a moment of hope. Oh, Linds.

  • She looks like she’s 40 years old!!! Even anna nicole smith looks better and she is dead!!

  • PrunellaV

This is bad, but the back is even worse. A translucent panel on her backside, and she does not appear to be wearing underwear.

  • Bravo TLO! That’s the way to slap a bitch down!

  • This does not even look like Lindsey Lohan.  At least the LL of her first 20-couple years on this earth.

  • For all the sentiments that she has no one in her corner, I disagree.  She has had incredibly fortunate opportunities in recent years (the Monroe layout, the Ungaro gig, and now the lisanddick shindig.  She has made hash out of all of it.  At what point do her supporters think, ‘hmm, she really isn’t all that good…”

  • Kacper Nedza

You know what she looks like? A Midwestern stripper that some sleazy B-movie director cast in a tertiary role in his tacky-ass B-movie that has a 9% rating on RottenTomatoes, appearing at the premiere and wearing a dress she from Jessica McClintock. “Sheryl Lee Ostrowski, 38, who plays the part of the prostitute Sunshine…”

I think LiLo was actually a really solid, charismatic comedic actress circa Mean Girls but it’s gone – rapidly – downhill from there. The previews for Liz and Dick are cringeworthy – even in the three second clips it looks like she’s stoned out of her mind.

I don’t think that the people around her (except her appalling parents) don’t care about her, really – it’s just that there’s only so much you can do to save someone from themselves. Lindsey’s been pulling this shit for years – can you blame people for giving up on her?

  • It doesn’t even look like her! I am really tring to find her in there, and she isn’t there. She needs the britanny treatment, a 1/2 year in a hard core psych ward where they really treat people, and then a guardian to,run and save her life. Or she is going to die. And she was talented. She could act, sing, and dance. Triple threat, all gone.

  • huh, is the her face? she looks to me like melinda clarke, if melinda clarke looked like ass.

  • Damn Africa what happened?

    • Kristen Williamson

  • Ugh, I thought she was the latest girl to get kicked off of RPDR All-Stars. What in the hell has she done with herself? And better yet, doesn’t she own any mirrors?

  • glennethph

That’s LiLo?!  Doesn’t look like her. I’d say it’s a Jennifer Grey situation but really, I think JG looks more like Baby Houseman than Lilo does with Cady Heron,

  • FoxInSocks

If it wasn’t ‘spoilered’ in the title of the post, I would never have recognized her. I have no idea what kind of future her career has (if any), but I hope for her sake just as a PERSON that she eventually blunders into someone who can help her straighten her shit out.

  • mike__tv

We love comebacks. But I just don’t think it’s gonna happen for her. Too much tanning, too much surgery, too much drugs, too much attitude. Too crazy dress.

  • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

sweet courtney love on a crucifix, this is terrifying.

  • This is sad, but mostly gross.  What’s actually sad is this girl has had nothing but opportunity, and no matter how shitty her family is, let’s remember that there are children out there who are raised in abuse who do much more with their lives than she has.  I hope she cleans up channels her experience into something useful, like helping homeless, addicted teens or something.

  • Laylalola

Also costarring as the titular Mean Girls were … Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried, who are now so many galaxies away from Lindsay Lohan both career-wise and personally that it’s laughable to think of Lindsay paired with them in the same breath now. (Is Mean Girls even mentioned in their lists of hits anymore, it’s so ancient?) (And then there’s the little matter of it marking filmwriting debut of one Tina Fey, who brought aong in several parent/teacher roles friends from SNL, including Amy Poehler).

  • MaryanneGirl

Oh…my…I’ll just choose to use what they say here in Nashville: bless her heart.

  • Rebecca Jay

That dirty, smelly thing…. we call it Fergie Funk.

Even as a child Lindsay Lohan bugged me, starting with Parent Trap.  Not cute, not charming, not talented.  Just pesky and annoying.  I do have moments of pity for her, mostly because of her completely fucked up parents who in turn fucked her up royally, but there comes a point where one makes their own choices, decides their own life path, and “it” ceases to be anyone else’s fault.  So I think about that and I go back to not feeling a whit of sorry for her.
    Undecided on watching the movie.

  • Lily-Rygh

Small consolation, I know, but I love the earrings…

  • quiltrx

Another DIRTY PILLOWCASE…this time in gown form!  And she obviously doesn’t pay someone enough to even press the damned thing properly.  The hem makes my whole face twitch.

And…does anyone but me and my hubby remember the Gary Kroeger SNL skit about being a “spot bleeder”?  I instantly dubbed this the ‘spot bleeder’ gown!

  • I have seen 50 year old tarts who look younger then her, less used up, and know how to dress better.

  • Did she change her face again? I did not recognize this is La Lohan.

    • Melvis Velour

Looked more like Courtney Love to me

  • librarygrrl64

I feel nothing but pity and disappointment when I see this young lady.

  • ccm800

I actually think her face looks better than it has in a long time. She does indeed look tore up from the floor up but somehow better than usual.

  • FridaStaire

Oh no, boys. trust me, I’m a lesbian: she looks erotic. Dirty erotic, maybe, but there’s soemthing….

  • RzYoung

Amen to that TLO, that’s messed up bj lipstick for sure!

  • sweetlilvoice

Dress is horrid but the rest of her looks surprising good. Wow.

  • enonymous

The mere fact that some idiot thought the bitch could be Liz has written her far off of my books.

  • FridaStaire

Beg to differ – I think there’s a weird erotic charge in this. I was going to say, trust me I’m a lesbian, but my girlfriend agrees with the majority that it’s foul. Ok those nipply dangles are a bit much, but the satin kind of does it for me.

  • I just wan’t to shake her and see if I can snap her out of it.

  • One thing to add to the horror…. this ‘dress’ is transparent over the rear panel…. and Miss L is attending sans any of Miss Vicky’s secrets…. there are pictures…. I need brain bleach

  • SoAustentatious

In the first photo especially, she looks like a young, inebriated Ida Lupino.  I think it’s her cheekbones but the lips and hair round it out.

  • I like it.  IN

  • I think her face looks a little better than it has lately (not makeup necessarily, but just “restedness”).  However, the rest is a disaster.  Aside from the obvious problems with the dress (the puckering seam, the fit… it’s too tight on her chest right? and not in a good way), the whole things just reads very white trash to me. I’ve seen other pics on other sites where and her fingernails look gross too, just saying.

I completely agree on her alleged level of talent as well.  I never found her that talented.  However, she did have a certain sparkle in her eyes that made her a pleasure to watch (in Mean Girls, for example).  Well, that sparkle is LONG GONE and now we’re just left with a mediocre actress with the voice of a 70 year old woman.  It is sad, but not because she’s so talented.  It’s just plain sad.

  • ZnSD

  • it’s either a nightie or carrie’s prom gown.

  • lilazander

Is that LiLo, indeed?…meh.. I don’t remember this face.

  • LANDRU3000

I’m sorry but this whole post is mean-spirited, and in spite of Ms. Lohan’s troubles, is itself, dirty, smelly and in bad taste.  I’m disappointed.

  • guest2visits

Holy cow.  What possessed her to alter her face – never mind the sad, cheap looking concoction she’s wearing.
I wonder how old she will be when she finally does the wake-up thing.  If ever.

  • lucasuk82

Well, the red hair color and the losing the layers of fake tan are steps in the right direction. I hope she didn’t pay anyone to do that to her face.  The skirt on the gown is lovely, everything else should be burned.

  • LambeeBaby

Well, good or bad, she looks completely different. I actually thought TLO tagged the thumbnail incorrectly. Never would have recognized her.

  • AVN awards ceremony. She kinda breaks my heart. I’d like to see her parents in jail.

  • she looks like a drag queen.

  • enchanted216

I’m glad she’s returned to the red hair.  It suits her.

  • Mike Owens

Looks like she’s wearing a pair of wax lips.

  • Bias-cut satin must be the hardest material on earth to wear! Girl is not chubby, but it gives her a pooch! Not even going to address the taste issue …
