      Of course.

    • charlotte

      Of beige!

      • http://profiles.google.com/ameliaheartsu Amelia Logan

As an as the nose on plain’s face (not really I think it’s pretty despite her desperation).

    • http://www.katidom.com/ Kati B

      Blech. Of course.

      • http://twitter.com/herong Heron

        Of blech.

    • http://twitter.com/jeremiahcapz Jeremiah Capacillo

    • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

I don’t hate this. Be nicer in a colour though. And those shoes in late November?

      • filmcricket

        Basically my exact reaction.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Lucía-Gavello/1253586868 Lucía Gavello

And it would be nice if she’d stop playing with the slit. (There has to be a less dirty way to say that but you get the gist)

        • kschwarting

That was my reaction!  Look at the gown on the model–it’s a wrap skirt.  Then look at it on Lea and she’s literally holding the slit open (my, that does sound dirty), forgoodness’sake.

          • Kristin McNamara

“There has to be a less dirty way to say that” hahahahahahaha laughed out loud :)

    • warontara

Oh I do not think this is her color.

      • gabbilevy

The color sort of takes this into “Lea Michele, accepting her Lifetime Achievement Adult Video Award” territory.

    • http://twitter.com/NormDeplume720 Norm Deplume

She’s got great boobs, it’s true, but I knew what I was going to see before I clicked the link.

    • pattyw

Wow, I would have never guessed that was Valentino. Recent collections have been so “Little House on the Prairie.” Trust Leah to turn it into “Little Vamp on the Prairie.”

      • Kayceed

Valentino has been so un-Valentino since Valentino retired. Le sigh.

    • http://twitter.com/strangebride Joanna Strange

Never surprising, that one.  Same dress requirements: boobs and legs.

      • Kristin McNamara

It’s like she does it so as to desperately try and prove that she IS, in fact, a woman. Because let’s be honest…. she does look mighty draggy in that last photo. I was definitely in need of some convincing.

        • Kristin McNamara

And where’s her NECK in the first photo?! She looks like a bobble-head doll. A slutty one.

    • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

“Look at my leg! LOOK AT IT!!!”

      • DeborahJozayt

I think I’ve seen her boobs and legs more than her boyfriend has.

      • deathandthestrawberry

I know, right? I think she looks pretty good here, but she is ruining it with her vamping.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

It’s a nice leg, Lea, now STFU.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

Straying from simply saying “of course”….the color is wrong, and honestly even with all that chest showing, had she not pulled a Jolie with the slit, this wouldn’t have been so bad. Why do women need to prove there is a slit by sticking their leg out.  Lea here one ups it BY HOLDING IT OPEN. It’s just not necessary.

      • Elizabeth Silverstein

      • http://twitter.com/bkiersten BridgetK

         1,000 ‘likes’ to you, Jessica.

      • Kayceed

Start looking at women who are ever so slightly pulling up the hem of their dress/skirt in magazines, catalogs, etc. It is crazy-making. I am in the market for the garment, not your sexual favors, dear lady.

      • kschwarting

Should have read yours first–that was my comment exactly.  She’s holding the damn thing open!

      • formerlyAnon

Oh, I’m sure she’s not proving there is a slit. She’s proving she has a leg. Lest we had forgotten.

    • bookish

I can’t tell if she’s trying to prevent the slit from opening up further or holding it open to make sure we see her thigh. Either way, it looks tacky. The earrings are pretty, though.

      • out for a walk

The earrings are pretty, but horrible with this dress. Or perhaps more accurate: the dress is horrible with the earrings. Way too matchy.

      • j_anson

Come on, does one really have to ask whether Lea Michele is holding the slit open or closed? :)

        • bookish

And after taking another look at the photo of the model…yes, she’s clearly holding it open, unless the dress was modified. :)

      • NC_Meg

I thought it looked like she was trying to hold it shut a little more but that is so un-Lea of her. I love the back. I wish the slit wasn’t there because with the back AND the slit AND the cleavage, it’s a little much.

    • Dhammadina

Of course but in an early Laine Kazan way.

    • Sobaika

I can’t believe it, but I don’t hate this. She has the right skin tone to wear beige, and I love the sleeves. It’s a bit different. Shoes are ALL wrong.

      Still can’t with her preening.

      • mshesterp

I’m with you–with the right accessorizing, this could have been pretty great, in my opinion.  But what’s with all the white/nude accessories?  The dress needs zuzhing!  Give it something!  I don’t think the color is bad on her at all, she just muffed the landing.

        Ugh, Lea–the slit pose.  Really?

      • B_C_J

I absolutely agree with you. The dress is very complimentary to her skin tone and both the sleeves and the back make it interesting. The shoes are definitely out! Her posing, however,  is simply an atrocity and completely distracts from the fact that she looks very nice here.

        • CozyCat

Yes.  If she hadn’t done the show-off-the-leg pose this would have stayed out of “of course” territory.  But the poor dear thing just can’t help herself….

      • http://twitter.com/purpleprose78 purpleprose78

I was thinking her make-up looked good and that is something.  I don’t hate the dress either.

      • http://twitter.com/k8twolf Katie Wolf

I’m with you. I was surprising myself my how much I liked her look until I scrolled to the last 1.5 photos; I love the face she’s giving in the penultimate but waist down… no, and that last one… dear, no.

      • http://twitter.com/hmbscully WendyD

The dress looks much better on her than that poor skeletal model.

      • TonyGo

So by right skin tone, do you mean spray-on orange-y tan?  I keed, I keed.

    • ralish

Fix the top, put the leg away, and change the color. Then I’d approve!

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gabriella M

To accompany your Beige Barbie (see Taylor Swift recently), here we have Beige Teresa! With Angelina-leg-vamping action!

    • http://profiles.google.com/scaponigro Sarah Caponigro

UGH. She could have looked pretty and not trying too hard if she would close her mouth and stop opening up the damn dress. Also I picture this in a jewel tone on her instead.

      • j_anson

I actually really like this particular beige on her. Maybe I’m crazy, but it makes her look all… caramelly.

    • Nariya

Honey, we’ll still think you have legs if you allow the dress to cover them. Promise.

    • Valdri8

Lea Michelle holding a slit OPEN; that is something that you do not see every day.

      • Girl_With_a_Pearl

Apologies for disagreeing, but actually I think it’s a rare day when Lee Michelle is not exposing her legs and all her other parts.  I’m beginning to think this girl has self esteem issues.

    • In_Stitches

I am not an opponent of nude colored dresses, particularly when there is a sheer or lace element in play.  This dress, however,…oof, should not be nude.  It has volume.  Why would you want to wear something that is close to your skin tone that adds volume to your frame?  In a maroon, navy or jade?  This could have been a moment.

    • lehen

there is nothing i hate more than a star that holds the slit of the dress open for all the world to look inside.  SO TACKY.

    • http://www.facebook.com/JennaM.Olson Jenna Olson

I could get behind this in a color.  Oh, and maybe if she wasn’t obviously holding her dress open to expose her entire thigh.  But that’s a minor detail for Lea….

    • Joyce VG

      This is funny!

    • rivula

      Lay off the cleavage-shimmer, girl!

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_VZLU6YVO4BRTELTTH3GRAAMWZQ Dot

      The quasi-Angelina pose is unfortunate.

    • penn collins

where is the LOOK! LOOK! LOOK at my vajayjay! slit on the model’s version? and did she get color swatches beforehand to match the background that perfectly? oh Lea, stay home…

    • Cloveradams

With her skin tones, that dress looks like nothing so much as a a large and unwieldy Band-Aid.  Lea, one further step toward becoming the Charo of Our Time.

    • Annabelle Archer

Lean and show the tits….bend the knee and show the thigh…big smile…repeat

    • AlexisPayne

      Well, she does look golden.

    • MoHub

      Of course

    • bertkeeter

      Finally Valentino does a “V” neck…Hallelujah!

    • Sarah Dickerson

I would love so much to see a video of her posing in this dress.  I’m sure it would fill my laugh quota for the month.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/KM5F6YLMLXS3AIQ5H3BIIIVABA fabulous

Of course, with a side of “blend that fucking concealer on top of your tit!”.

      • kimmeister

Oh, that’s what that is!  I was starting to think it was calamine lotion on a bug bite!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000393765005 Garcia Loca

The dress is pretty enough, even though I can’t stand sleeves like that – but WHITE SHOES with it are killing me! Also, homegirl has no idea how to pose in a dress like this. Do not hold the slit open with your hand — let the leg peek out naturally.

    • SewingSiren

She so unashamedly artificial. Like some old lounge singer from the 1960’s. I think that’s what I like best about her.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=14301272 Kate Gorton

      Everyone together: OF COURSE.

    • GorgeousThings

(clamping hand over mouth) Mmmmmf… mmmmmmf…… OF COURSE!!!!!!

    • teensmom99

This dress makes me long for her other dresses.  Really unattractive.

    • Mike Owens

At least she’s dealing with those obnoxious and ridiculous bangs.

    • BeeBeauNYC

Lea, your leg is not sticking out far enough.

    • elemspbee

oh that last photo. oh. uhm.

    • Scarlet39

Thigh high slit on an otherwise modest gown?  Sexy.

Holding thigh high slit open?  NOT sexy.

    • golden_valley

That’s a cougar dress and a cougar pose.

    • another_laura

I don’t love the dress, but the color is pretty much working for her.  Shoes a bad choice and she has the traditional puddle of fabric because god forbid somebody should hem a freaking dress.

    • http://twitter.com/iJenmac Jennifer McClory

“Hey, Lea, Imma let you finish, but Angelina had the best stuck out leg of all time.  OF ALL TIME!”  -Kanye West

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

She would probably do a pretty good Swift impression too.

    • PeggyOC

Only Lea.  She can make what looks like Sister Wife on the model go completely to Desperate Flesh Show Town.  It’s a nice little dress (albeit a boring color), but she’s trashing it.

    • http://twitter.com/aidanboleyn Aidan B

Oof, that color is terrible on her!!

    • http://twitter.com/iraki86 IraKi

WHY? Why take a dress that would make you look so great, elegant, sexy and take it to “Slutsville” by putting this slit? And different shoes please!

    • MarissaLG

If she would quit mugging so hard she’d look beautiful.

    • Anne At Large

Either give this to Z. Saldana and let her style it, or, alternatively, give it to me and let me style it. I’m a foot taller than she is so it won’t eat me. And make it red, thanks, I have holiday parties to attend.

    • MissAmynae

I’m in the minority, but I think this is a win….The shape is beautiful, she’s got a dark/olive enough complexion to carry off the color (at least by my monitors- it looks more fawn-y than beige), and its relatively modest, actually. Its sexy and body-conscious without being slutty. There’s no cocker-spaniel hair, and damn those earrings work well with the look.

I think the slit manipulation is more about handling the skirt itself- that train plus rainy weather is a perfect recipe for stepping on the hem.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

WHAT IS WITH THE HOLDING THE SLIT OPEN?! IT MAKES ME CAPSY!! Good LORD I can’t stand that. And Lea took a dress that was pretty, girly, and feminine on the model and turned it into “LOOK AT MY CLAVICLE AND MY LEG!” Ugh.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_WKSM57KFWUGRMKPDUW4SPL3GDM Kathryn

      She looks really, really beautiful!

    • crash1212

Huh. This is actually pretty demure for Lea. If it weren’t for the douchey poses and those awful shoes, I would pretty much love this look. I think the color – at least on my monitor – totally works for her, the hair is good (thank god she ditched the bangs!), good makeup and I love the earrings. I don’t hate the other jewelry and am on the fence regarding the clutch. But, seriously, can the douchey poses girlfriend, you’re better than that.

    • leave_Blake_alone

Can there just be a new tag “Of Course” for posts like these, rather than Fashion/Red Carpet/Whiteboard or whatever? Seriously, every time I click a Lea Michele post I really WANT it to be unique (for her) and not another desperate attempt to bare as much skin as possible, but every time…

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

She looks like an over-the-hill whore.

    • imakeart

She’s better known for showing up EVERYWHERE looking overdone and slutty than she is for the low quantity of work she does!

    • VicksieDo

Would have been a nice look if she’d stop flashing her leg like that.  Has she no self-awareness at all?  Don’t her people check around, see how her outfits are received, how much she is reviled for this?  sigh

    • Judy_S

See! You thought my legs weren’t there any more. But they ARE! Silly you.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/47S737MGWCAZEZ73QOAFKDFEKQ Jill

I absolutely love that dress.  Too bad her facial and body shennigans detract from it.

    • Sara__B

She’s looks so old. Well-maintained, pushing-50-but-I-need-you-to-know-I’m-still-sexy old. She’s a beautiful and talented young woman with a great career. Maybe she’ll relax and stop trying so damned hard before she actually IS pushing 50.

    • LesYeuxHiboux

Stop holding the slit open you massive tool bucket! I like the sleeves for her, but that’s about it. Blanche Devereaux’s dressing gown in shape, but not in fabulousness.

    • Twinzilla

Seriously great bracelets — she should have had earrings in that darker color.

    • marilyn

Looks off the rack, and kind of like a robe.

    • j_anson

I mean, it’s clearly an of course… but of all her of courses, I think this does look really lovely on her. It suits her coloring to a T, and if she wouldn’t keep yanking the slit open and bending over to show her cleavage, it would be fairly elegant.

    • Jennifer Hofstetter

I actually think this would have been pretty in a very deep blue or green or something.

    • snarkykitten

      yuck. what a hideous color.

    • http://www.facebook.com/stacy.clarke1 Stacy Clarke

This was scrolldown “Oh this doesn’t loooof course.”

    • Trisha26

      Can’t stand her, of course.

    • Kenisha Hill Phillips

      Wrong color. Wrong shoes.

    • Qitkat

I like the square bracelet, sort of.

    • nannypoo

      She is ridiculous.

    • hellkell

      Of course.

    • http://twitter.com/irmaladuce_l8ly IrmaLaDuce

Someone needs to step away from the body shimmer.

    • Judy_J

      That’s a whole lotta beige.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Vienna-Marriott/100001636120960 Vienna Marriott

      Typical narcissistic Broadway diva.

    • http://asskickingadviser.com/ Ass Kicking Adviser

Yes, we see your leg Lea.

    • kolokOlchik

what’s wrong with her, why is she hamming it up in every picture???

    • http://twitter.com/stellaphone Stella Zawistowski

I don’t hate the look of her dress, but I do hate the look on her face.

    • demidaemon

“Oh God,” was my first thought. And is the V lower on her than it is on the model? Or am I just imagining it?

    • Carly Warnock

Too much chest shimmer, in addition to going overload on the beige, low cut shit. Tone it the fuck down girl.

    • ccm800

seriously. Is she a little special needs or something?

    • madelf

I don’t think the dress is that bad, but why does she look so old? She’ looks like she’s in her fifties, or is ready to join that old SNL skit – Leg Up with Debbie Reynolds and Ann Miller. I can’t tell if it’s the dress, the tan or the makeup, but something is going really wrong here.

    • TieDye64

Girl, that color makes you look orange and that pose makes you look ridiculous. Of course.

    • MilaXX

I almost like this. Of course she needs to stick that leg back in, but it’s not as try hard as her usual choices.

    • quiltrx

Funny how you can’t really tell that the model’s has a slit, but Lea makes fucking SURE we see that hers has one!

And sorry, that fabric looks like a compact full of face powder.

    • http://phantomminuet.blogspot.com/ MinAgain

What a dreadful color for her.  And why is she so shiny?

    • SophieCollier

Yes, Lea.  We see your leg.  God forbid we should miss that.  Doofus.

    • formerlyAnon

Perfectly nice – if a dull color – if only she didn’t feel the need to hold the skirt back to make sure we remember that she still has legs.

    • unbornfawn

    • guest2visits

Not at all a bad look for her; except for the shoes.  Just would have looked so much better if she would stand normally and
stop it with the leg thing. She vogues the same pose in every photo.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

Why are designers channeling Pat Nixon era gowns?  This makes me so sad.

      • formerlyAnon

I think there’s something to be said for Pat Nixon-era gowns, or at least gowns inspired by that era gowns, as a change for the young things and not-so-young-things bored with the bath towel dresses, awkward sheer panels and inserts, and various Versace horrors. But I’d prefer to see them worn either with a serene and conscious nod to their earlier era in the styling, or as a modest – until you move right and show a flash of skin – and pretty gown setting off stunning young skin and figure.

Ms. Michelle misses those boats, but I don’t even hate this on her, though it looks kind of old for her in its monochomicity (and especially with those earrings!). I do hate how she’s posing.

        (edited for clarity)

    • Crystal

This really wouldn’t have been SO bad and “of course” worthy if she had just LEFT THE DAMN SKIRT ALONE.

    • http://angryfemur.tumblr.com Andrea Lane

I love how she’s holding the slit of her dress open. Of course.

    • DCSheehan

Don’t change a thing, girl. The more they all hate you the more I j’adore you.

    • dharmabum8

Um, I like her bangles. That said, do you suppose she sings Tits and Ass from A Chorus Line to herself in the mirror each time she gets ready for an event?

    • PhillipWilde

      Of course.

    • Toto Maya

Could we just stop doing these on Lea Michelle until she starts dressing well? There’s nothing even to say about this.

    • RzYoung

“There’s a split in the skirt, here can you see it?”

      • http://twitter.com/mhleta Martha Hicks Leta

“Look. Look, see? See? It’s right there! Look, here it is again. Oooo. See it, everyone?” GAACK!!

    • Rachel Council

If I were her stylist I’d be on slit patrol all night having to slap her hands away from it.

      Oh, that is dirty.

    • decormaven

What she needs as the ultimate accessory is a rubber band, worn around the wrist, that should be snapped anytime she shows too much chest or leg, or mugs for the camera. Go ahead and buy the econo box from Staples, because that band would snap about three times a day due to her incessant mugging and OCC (obsessive of-coursing.)

    • mom2ab

Why is she wearing her moms bathrobe and her grandma’s accessories?  And for the love of god please learn to pose without looking like a 12 year old playing movie star.

    • pop_top

It’s such a pretty dress, I wish she wasn’t so OBVIOUSLY opening the slit…

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Irene-Wroclai/733770581 Irene Wroclai

That is like the ugliest dress I’ve ever seen on her. PFFFF….. Cheap.

    • http://twitter.com/peacebang Victoria Weinstein

      Of course.

    • http://twitter.com/peacebang Victoria Weinstein

That last shot could totally be John Leguizamo.

    • maggiemaybe

Is it just me or did she take the off ramp to Kardashianville on that last shot?
