  • Interesting dress, not sure its right for her. But GAWD do I think she looks better when she has her bangs off her face.

    • NC_Meg

She really does. I was starting to think maybe the bangs weren’t that bad but now I remember how much better she looks without them.

      •  I’ve always thought that the bangs squeezed the proportions of her face too much, making her look like her head was short and square, which it is not at all.

        • MarinaCat

Just about to post the same thought. I’ve always thought her bangs were just too severe and a wrong fit for her.

Love the back of the dress; the front, not so much.

        • kikisayshi

I completely agree. I’m surprised she’s kept the bangs for so long. They really do nothing at all for her. Look how pretty she is when you can actually see her face!

    • Candigirl1968

ITA.  I don’t think she can pull off something that funky.  But if this were an IN or OUT page, I’d give her an IN just because I didn’t have to look at those silly bangs.

    • Lily-Rygh

I couldn’t agree more.  She has a perfectly serviceable forehead; no need to hide it with those ridiculous booms.

  • marilyn

COnsidering she is going to a Hitchcock movie, I get the dress.  It is very elegant, but almost vintage in feel.  The back makes it modern.  She is uncluttered, and gorgeous.  Tippi Hedron, eat your heart out!

  • Sobaika

No. You are not a fashionplate, Jessica. Stop trying. You have quite the body and it doesn’t deserve to be hidden under boob flaps.

    • NinaBoo

If I were her, none of my clothes would have a back to them. Dayum.

    • call_me_schmeg

this look minus the boob flaps would be sleek and sexy. you might make the argument that halter tops aren’t her friend, but i’d forgive that and the subsequent side boob for rocking something along the simple/classic. girl needs her some calvin klein.

    • gabbilevy

      Bless her, she does try.

    • kschwarting

Agh, I just noted the boob flaps above!  Should have read down first.

    • I know, right? Oh, Jess. She should really just go simple all the time and call it a day. It wouldn’t be exciting, but at least she wouldn’t look completely insane every time she appears in public.

  • She looks like a halibut, but I like that hair.

    •  I was going to go with sting ray, but halibut is more apt.

  • Yuck, I do not like the “wings” on that gown one bit.

  • Nicholas

She looks like an X-Men character.

  • Puck Thornton

Very good, girl! Away with the ugly makeup and bangs, you look very handsome, although you could do with a stronger lippy. The dress is interesting, shame it not more defined or more flowing like on the model. Now it is a bit of a miss. Great clutch and shoes.

  • jw_ny

She should keep her back to the crowd in this getup…it’s her best side. (I actually like the back view and peplum.)  The front…a ridiculous black sack with wings.

She could’ve used a bit more eye and brow makeup..otherwise looks pretty, especially with her bangs up and off her face, although I don’t particularly like her hair like that.

  • zenobar

Not sure about that flappy-openy effect.  Reminds of something that’s been eviscerated.  Or would that be more of a flayed look?  Yes, that’s it.  A very stylish flaying occurred here.

  • amian3

I think this is a fantastic look. The dress is maybe a tad long but that is the only complaint. Dhe dress is interesting but doesn’t distract from a fantastic body. Her hair and makeup are perfect. Perfect. Even the clutch is good.

For such a beautiful woman she frequently bombs on the red carpet.

This is a slightly unusual look (no January Jones nonsense) and she looks really pleased and confident.

  • Susanne Hale

this girl just does not know how to dress

  • It’s ok, if you like looking like a vagina.

  • 2 shapeless looks in a row = she wants to start pregnancy rumours. I am not on board with the boob gills.

    • Lori

Oh gawd. I’m not sure I can deal with a Biel bump watch, but you know it’s coming. I used to be more or less indifferent to her, but I think I’m officially totally sick of her now and just want to her to go away.

  • nannypoo

I don’t get the front. I would have to see it in person to be sure, but I think I hate it. It reminds me of a National Geographic special on the mating habits of exotic birds.

  • filmcricket

That is an exceedingly impressive back. Well done, Ms. Biel-Timberlake. Unfortunately, the front of you looks like a sting ray.

  • neofashionista

Gross dress great hair though so glad the bangs are plasted back

  • MissMariRose

    Fashion victim.

  • Allyson Wells

She needs some makeup, and i’m not sure that clutch was the right choice. Wish we could see the shoes better… they look pretty fierce.

    • RebeccaKW

I can’t figure out why she keeps allowing herself to made up to appear she has the flu.  I don’t know if it’s lack of mascara or the wrong color eyeshadow or both, but these are not good choices.  She’s very pretty, she doesn’t really need makeup, but if you are going to wear it, why wouldn’t you want it to be flattering?

  • Anathema_Device

Love the fourth pic down where Hitchock is about to stab her in the back!

Jessica you can’t pull off the captial F fashion dresses. Sorry. The side flaps are stiff (and silly) on you. But you do look good from the back.

  • Kristin McNamara

Oh good Lord. What the crap is stapled to the front of that dress?!

  • If the dress had a bit more shape in the midsection, I think it would look killer on her. It’s visually interesting, if a tad odd with the flaps. But I think they’d work if the rest of dress wasn’t so shapeless. Also, love her hair.

  • Sara__B

Like her hair. Wish she’d gone for either a strong lip or strong eye makeup. Love the sexy back on her fit body. Don’t know what to think about the armpit flaps.

  • TonyGo

The top looks like a folding car windshield sunshade.

  • I think this is up there for personal best.

  • decormaven

The waving action around the bodice reminds one of a sea creature, a nudibranch. I like the fact that the hair style harkens back to this waving effect. However, the dress doesn’t seem well suited to her – maybe it’s the color, not sure. Those are some killer shoes; would have liked a peek at the full shoe. A more elegant earring would have been a nice touch.

  • kschwarting

Wow, she has a gorgeous back.  But in two words:  Boob flaps.  Enough said.

  • Interesting dress, but that’s a mighty high slit in the back.  Her hair and make-up are pretty, but she whiffed the ball on her jewelry.

    • kimmeister

I’m glad someone else noticed the slit.  It’s terrifying!

  • QuincyTKatz

Wings are for maxi pads- not dresses!

  • BrooklynBomber

All I see is a sting ray going to a funeral.

  • kayleymaybe

What an improvement from the neck up.  Neck down, not so much (although I love the back).

  • To me this dress says “frilled lizard”. I’m sure it looks better in motion, i.e. on the catwalk.

  • charlotte

She must have found this dress in the same costume room where Naomi Watts found hers. Both dresses must be for a play about animals going to a funeral.

  • I love it from the back and the side- not from the front.

  • Annabelle Archer

It is as if she actively seeks ways to be a fashion victim.    Her celebrity perfume could be called Desperation.  From the gossip surrounding her relationship to her try hard wanna be fashionista choices, everything about her is simultaneously boring and exhausting.
    I hate her makeup too.

(wow, I am aggressively against this poor girl. sorry.)

  • ankali

That dress is absurd in a lot of ways, but it’s kind of working for her. The clutch doesn’t so much read “evening” to me, but I like the color and the sleekness with the dress. Hair is SO MUCH BETTER, and makeup is OK. All told, I don’t know if I’ve seen her look this good in… ever?

  • MilaXX

This is vast improvement jut based on the hair alone. Can she not see how much better she looks without bangs? My biggest quibble is she needs a better earring than plain gold hoops.

  • stoprobbers

No. If it has something that can be construed as “armpit wings,” the answer is no.

  • the clutch is to die. way to sporty for the dress or the event, but to die. lose everything except the clutch, and then give it to me.

  • B_C_J

Interesting dress – from the sides and the back, it looks very beautiful, like flower petals opening up and revealing a beautiful woman.  From the front, the dress is quite shapeless and not very flattering considering that the wearer has a fabulous figure. It is good to see her without bangs. She is much prettier without them. I do not care for the eye makeup. A dress as dramatic as this one requires a stronger eye.

  • TieDye64

Dayum, wish my back and shoulders looked like that. Anyway, the back seems to be the best part of the dress, as the front ruffly, wingy things looks odd and awkward. Also, please banish the heavy bangs. They’re not your friend, girl. I’d wear my hear pulled back every single day if I had a face like that.

  • Hair and make-up look great. Not sure what that dress is supposed to be doing.

  • I sure hope that dress looks better in motion than it does when the wearer is just standing there.  Her hair is a glorious improvement over past efforts, brava.  Makeup, not so much.  Love the clutch.

  • Janet B

Teen says “hideous dress she looks like a duck”

I, on the other hand kinda like it.

  • bertkeeter

“I want a dress that will make me look short n dumpy? And I want to wear it with a daytime clutch!” She got her wish!

  • judybrowni

    What the…?

  • Hai Yen Nguyen

She is beautiful but her absolute inability to dress herself is really getting on my nerves.

  • with a slit that high up the back, you better hope you don’t drop your clutch.

  • pookiesmom

  • Kenisha Hill Phillips

Her shoulders are too strong for this dress.

  • That is goddamned ridiculous, but she’s working that back.

  • PrunellaV

She looks kind of like a manta ray here.

  • sweet_potato

Methinks Mrs. T needs a new stylist and makeup person.

  • readdiefreddie

From the front she looks like a stingray, and from every other angle she looks like an awkward ballerina who got stuck in her tutu.

  • Leslie Kim

    black armpit vaginas…? o.O

  • Her hair looks fantastic, and I love the clutch. I’m not sold on the dress, but I don’t know who could pull that one off.

  • ChristinaRi

Her hair looks so much better without the bangs!

  • quiltrx

Look out!  Your dress shields are EXPANDING!

(this is just a weird dress. The ruffly bit either needs to be bigger or more subtle, I can’t decide.)

  • It moves better than it stands…

  • librarygrrl64

I’m not sure how I feel about the dress, but get a load of how much better the hair looks!!!!! I also love that clutch.

  • Armpit labia.

  • Wish the dress was as pretty in the back as the front.

  • demidaemon

I’m sorry, but she picks some truly hideous clothing. It’s like there was a rack of great dresses and she zooms in on the ugliest, weirdest, most inappropriate dress for her and weras it. Why, Jessica? WHY?

  • She looks stunning. I think the bodice side ruffles help balance out her shoulders, Hair is perfect, She is WERKing those back views.

  • Sadie-Ann

This lip, while maybe not strong enough, is much better than that nude she’s been using recently. Her makeup in past post made her look like she was dying of consumption or something like that. Much better.

The dress is a little much, but overall I think she gets most improved.

  • Why would anyone wear this dress?

  • turtleemily

That’s the dress I’d wear if I was going as a nudibranch to a fancy Halloween party.

  • kikisayshi

Spread your boob wings and flyyyyyy!!!!

  • MarissaLG

The dress doesn’t even matter. She’s stunning. Clear example of a woman wearing a dress instead of the dress wearing her.

  • PeaceBang

This is all about hosting a fondue and key party, circa 1975.

  • guest2visits

The front view of the dress is terrible.  She really shines from the side and back angles.

  • poggi

What are those lizards called that have those big neck frills that open when they get alarmed in order to ward off predators? Jessica has been threatened and is employing her boob frills to appear larger and more menacing.

  • leave_Blake_alone

The fuck is wrong with this girl? The hair is goofy (but at least it’s better than the bangs) and the dress is goofy (on her). Can she get anything right?

  • This is just gorgeous! Love the interesting dress, she is strong enough to pull it off, it isn’t wearing her. Also, that HAIR. That is an updated, lady greaser look and I AM DIGGING IT.

  • Look how much better she looks with her hair off her face (bangs) and shoulders (cocker spaniel). Girl should look this clean and pretty ALL the time!

  • Lilak

Attractive back and arms (and a lot less scary than Keibler’s legs).  And keep those bangs banished for good, dear.
