We swear we’re not in a bad mood today. No, really. It’s just that everyone we’re featuring today is disappointing us on the sartorial front. Besides, if we were loving and complimentary all the time, you’d stop reading, wouldn’t you? Admit it.

Disappointing. On an epic level. Yes, it’s another grey-on-grey look but that’s not what’s setting us off. True, it doesn’t help the look, as far as we’re concerned, but what’s really making our eyelids twitch is the fit.
Look, we’re not dogmatic about fashion. If something is currently the style and you don’t think it suits you or you just don’t like the way it looks, we’re not the types to criticize for that, so long as what you do choose to wear looks good on you. Tightly fitted suits are all the rage right now but that doesn’t mean every man should immediately go out and have all their suits altered. It’s not a look for everyone. But we’ve gotta say, when you’re in possession of a bod as slammin’ as Hugh’s it’s kind of an offense unto God that you would hide it under a gigantic banker’s suit. He’s practically swimming in that jacket. It mostly fits correctly, although it looks a tiny bit long to us; it’s just that it’s cut in a less-than-flattering way. And let’s face it: he would ROCK a tightly fitted jacket. But fine; let’s say he was feeling bloated that day or he just didn’t want to play up the bod when he’s poledancing for such an Oscar-bait of a movie. Go ahead, Hugh; wear the business suit cut. But at least pick an interesting shirt or something. Maybe a patterned shirt, or a vividly colored one; put on a V-neck sweater or a tie – anything to make this outfit look less drab.
Also: shave. You’re not Wolverine.
