Yikes.  She is lovely, but this is a tacky cougar swimsuit with mud flaps.

    • wisdomy

Is it just me, or is this kind of… well, “of course?”

      • it’s definitely an “of  course”. Woman loves her skin and her animal print.

      • Jessi03

My thought was immediately “Hahahaha!  Never change, Liz Hurley.  Also, your makeup makes your eyes look stunning.”

        • She wears it well.

  • Tacktastic and… kind of amazing?

    • I see how tacky it is and yet…I sort of love it on her.

      • j_anson

I kind of do too. I could really do without the slits, but otherwise I sort of don’t hate it at all.

    •  Tacktastic and totally her.

    • Sobaika

An example of the right dress on the right person – it would be horrid on most others but it fits her and her vibe perfectly.

  • Wow, that’s a horrid dress.

  • Joyce VG

Only a professional can pull off this dress.

  • Carla_Charlton

Thank goodness she’s not sticking out her leg.

    • I thought the same thing. I’m kind of surprised she isn’t, actually.

  • shopgirl716

    Hideous.  What was she thinking?

  • ceceliadid

    Sweaty cougar.

  • Pennymac

Attention, Heidi Klum. This is how you dress sexy and classy (double slits and sparkles, too)!

  • MilaXX

I hate double slits, but she’s not poking her legs out of them so this looks okay.

  • Imasewsure

It’s not quite tacky since it’s actually fairly demure (by slutty cocktail dress standards) but those patterns don’t work together at all… she looks beautiful though

  • neofashionista

    She still looks amazing!!!

  • sweet_potato

She looks good and it’s a classic Liz Hurley, tacky and that’s alright.

  • LilyPad

The woman does not age…or change her style apparently. I feel like she’s been dressing like a cougar since she was in her 20s. That dress is just plain tacky though…don’t care how much she paid for it. She could’ve gotten something very similar at the mall.

  • guest2visits

It works for her;  but the heavy duty eye make-up makes the whole thing look slightly garish.
I’m afraid Kate Middleton is going to hang unto a similar harsh racoon look for much too long.
Experiment with something new, or find yourself with SJP fighting zombies with deadly blue-photon-eye-lasers.

    • Monabel

Too right! Why can’t they see that the black outline gives them tiny, tiny little eyes?  Infinitesimal eyes.

      • sweetestsith

As a recovered eyeliner addict, once you get used to your eyes with that much liner you don’t feel dressed without it. It’s very odd, and took at least a year to get over. I still have to restrain myself when doing evening makeup. Honestly, its unlikely I would have even noticed if my contacts hadn’t run out (stupid being poor!) forcing me to go back to glasses long term.

If it isn’t something like that though…ladies be cray-cray.

  • editrixie

I feel weird because the only thing I can focus on is that it’s not winter yet. Still fall!

  • abigail3

Her face looks great but it sure doesn’t match her neck. The tyranny of plastic surgery…

  • Noelle Haland

    I think it’s awesome, full-stop.

  • ojosazules

The proto-of course. The Great Holy Mother of Of Course.

  • The hair and makeup totally make the look!

  • briecee

Do not like.  It’s like they took every possible thing that screams TRASHY and shoved it onto one gown.

  • nannypoo

    Saggy boobs.

  • That bodice is doing nothing for her boobs.

  • Real Housewives.

  • Tatiana Luján

    She just doesn’t age.

  • bertkeeter

SHE looks great…dress is sort of run of the mill “gown department” at NM…Nothing extraordinary.

  • This is not a dress to stand around in. This dress was meant to fiercely stride down a runway!

  • RzYoung

    Of course

  • decormaven

Thankful it’s being modeled without calling attention to the double slits. Makeup, hair, and earrings all working together. Good for her!

  • teensmom99

This dress IS Elizabeth Hurley.  I think it transcends “of course” to being what only she can wear.  Yeah it’s cougary and all that (as if Chicos had updated one her old Versace dress) but it works on her.  Ladies, don’t try this at home.

  • B_C_J

She certainly does adhere to a certain aesthetic. However, she looks beautiful and I like the dress. She is not overly exposed. It’s a glamorous event. The dress flows and it sparkles without being cheap or trashy.  I think she looks like a winner.

  • Well. The dress is a hot mess, but her hair looks great like that.

  • quiltrx

She’s SO beautiful.  I think I would like the dress much more if the print were different–I don’t care for animal prints.

  • alyce1213

The print and sequins suck, otherwise the dress has a nice silhouette for her. She’s pretty stunning.

  • Aurumgirl

Reassuring to know it isn’t just us plus size ladies who get stuck with the tacky leopard print and bedazzling all the time.

  • Judy_J

    Very cougar-esque.

  • That is tacky as hell.  Although she herself looks lovely.

  • tereliz

At least she’s not sticking her legs out the slits. In any of these shots…

  • Liz can get away with this, of course.  Watch and learn, Lea Michele.  Watch and learn.

  • Lilak

Some can stick with the same style for years and years and look like this … others, unfortunately, not so much (cough, Duchess of Cornwall, cough) (< but also "bless"?).

  • Bitch don’t age.

  • librarygrrl64

I like like the silhouette on her, but I’m iffy on the print, and I HATE the slits.

  • PeaceBang

The word I’m looking for is “blowsy.”
