Her shoes are cool.  That’s all I got.  Well, that and I don’t like the lipstick matching her dress or the dress itself.

  • I love everything about this.  The dress actually looks better on her than it does on the model.  The shoes!!!  And her earrings and makeup are perfect.  Her clutch is a little “eh” but that’s pretty minor.

I also love that the shoes don’t have murderous heels. I could walk in them, too bad I can’t afford them!

  • kimmeister

The dress would be better without that gathering of fabric on her hip.  The shoes are interesting.

  • I’m not understanding the draping. To me it’s like curtains of varying lengths. But the shoes are rockin’.

  • Her legs are too short for this dress. Everything else is perfect.

  • I can’t get past her face. She’s so beautiful it’s scary.

    • kschwarting

She is gorgeous, full stop.  But she’s so young and lovely that I’d actually love to see her with a smidge less makeup.

  • Sarah Thomas

She looks like a Yoshida doll.

    • Louise Bryan

I get a real Betty Boop vibe.

  • Dot

She looks like a porcelain doll…when you’re that beautiful, who cares about your clothes!

  • homofascist

I love it.  Has a very flapper/20s vibe.

  • Imasewsure

Strange plastic poses but she looks cute even with the matchiness of it all

  • That little lace detail makes it look like her bra straps are slipping. Not a cute look.

    • Cleis

agree!  Looks like it was intended to be a little more loose and wide across the shoulders, and that she pulled it in for some reason.

  • Good shoes, weird dress, bad lipstick.

And every time I see her name, I want to reread those old Victoria Holt novels that I loved as a teenager.

  • Imasewsure

Also definitely prefer her without bangs… her face is so perfect, it’s a shame to hide it (says everyone’s Grandma as she brushes the hair out of our eyes)

  • Sara__B

I get caught in her amazing gaze and can’t escape to analyze her outfit. (I suspect this outfit doesn’t quite suit her age and size, but who cares? She’s uniquely stunning.)

  • Puck Thornton

She’s a pretty girl and that hideous curtain she’s wearing is not doing her any favours. Also, the Louboushoes are fugly.

  • RocknRollmom

Hate the dress.  But the shoes…Oh my, the shoes.  I love them.  She looks stunning otherwise.  Damn shame the dress is not good.  It doesn’t even look good on the model.

  • schadenfreudelicious

her face is flawless, the dress not so much…

I love this color on her; makeup looks beautiful.

  • pookiesmom

How is she SO BEAUTIFUL? It defies comprehension.

The dress looks better on her than it does on the model, but that’s not saying much because it’s still pretty bad.

  • Looooove the shoes. The earrings and clutch are pretty, too; her hair and makeup look nice.  The dress… it’s awful. A great color, but it’s little more than a sheet stapled inelegantly around her.

  • This absolutely should not work as well as it does, and yet…

  • She’s lovely, but the dress looks like something you’d wrap around yourself getting out of the shower. Like the shoes, though.

  • teensmom99

Girl, that is your dress and possibly your dress only.  She looks great and I’m not sure any one else could pull it off.  Just wondering why she is wearing MY shoes.

  • SoThenISaid

Love that she’s not sporting the typical starlet short and shiny dress. I think she looks gorgeous. She’s really becoming someone to watch, IMO.

  • Trisha26

That is one horrible dress. She’s cute though.

  • ankali

She’s absolutely gorgeous, and I love her earrings and shoes. The dress, though, seems overworked.

  • Giustina Pileggi

I like the dress better with the tights like on the those earrings

  • quiltrx

Just a bad, messy-looking design.  It doesn’t look deliberate, it looks like they ran out of time.

  • librarygrrl64

I actually like this a lot! The dress looks better on her, IMO (could be the lighting, though), and I’m kind of a sucker for this color on a blue-eyed, pale-faced lass. Looks retro/romantic, but not as harshly gothic as black. Her hair and makeup are very pretty, and I love the earrings. Would have added maybe a cocktail ring or a simple bracelet. The shoes are very cute, and I like how the cutouts echo the curve of the lace trim on the dress. My only beef is that I wish the…whatever that is outlining the arm holes was either non-existent or a little wider. From farther away it just looks like her black lingerie straps are showing.

  • Jackie4g

She’s a beautiful girl and that’s a stupid dress. Love the shoes.

  • pulpytomato

I’m a Roksanda Illincic fan, but I’m not crazy about this dress (or most of the dresses I’ve seen by Roksanda lately). Whoever this girl is, though, she’s gorgeous and the color looks great on her.

  • Isana Leshchinskaya

ugh. pretty close to perfect. again. some humans are just born to succeed on the red carpet. exhibit A above.

  • This is awfully close to one of those belted terrycloth thingies they give you to wear between treatments at the spa, except the ones at the spa don’t have little crepe winglets fluttering about the shoulders, and generally they’re not burgundy colored.

I do like her earrings and makeup.  The shoes are amazing but somehow they make me think of a toreador outfit.  The next person who designs a production of “Carmen” should take notice of these.

  • siriuslover

I think it’s a really interesting, though ultimately a little too lumpy, a look. Nice color. Killer shoes.

  • snevhead

    Maybe a belt?

  • Aurumgirl

That dress is supposed to look drapey, but it just looks sloppy and with the lace inserts at the shoulders, slovenly.  Plus, the collar detail makes the model look like she’s a hulk on top, wobbling on her thin legs.

  • ojosazules

I don’t understand this dress at all. Totally over my head. It looks like someone tried to make an old bathrobe look styling and failed.

  • Gorgeous hair and makeup.  Killer shoes,  The dress looks like a bathrobe.

  • formerlyAnon

If anyone *could* turn this dress into a WERQ, this would be it. But the draping on the dress itself resolves into something more like bunching – even on the model. And that can’t quite be redeemed.

  • There’s a lot of shenanigans happening on that dress. After I prune it a little, I want to put it on Amanda Seyfried. It needs a tall girl with the opaque tights and booties.

  • I feel like it needs a belt. Like, there was a belt and maybe the little loopy string thing on the side broke and she decided to wear it anyway. That’s what it looks like.

  • l v

Girl has got the perfect eyes for that cat-liner. Fabulous. Kind of meh-ish on the rest of the outfit.

  • decormaven

The collar/bodice isn’t reading correctly here. The way it’s shown on the runway looks more designed; it looks poorly fitted in that area on her. Pretty, pretty girl; needs a different dress, STAT.

  • marilyn

Beautiful woman wears ugly rag of a dress.  Somewhere in the universe, a stylist needs to be fired for convincing her that the rag of a dress is ‘artistic’.  No, it’s ugly.

  • Well I wouldn’t call it a WERQ, but the dress looks SO MUCH better on her than on the runway (which for me is a requirement of WERQ status) and the shoes are amazing.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

  • Does she ever smile, or just look consistently surprised?
Anyway, that’s a good color for her, and I like the hair. The shoes scare me a bit, though.

  • Fugly dress!

  • julnyes

Shoes are lovely, but that is one OVERWORKED dress.

  • NCDFan

Love the shoes, the makeup and hair. Hate the dress with a passion – it looks like my grandma’s robe without sleeves.

  • B_C_J

The only thing that saves this look is Ms. Heathcote’s absolutely breathtaking beauty.  Otherwise, this is a very ugly, awkward dress best used as a dust cloth and matching mop.

  • MilaXX

    Cute dress. Ugly shoe

  • lrober03

Love the color of the dress and the shoes, but I’m not going for the major folded napkin effect going on.
