The peplum (?) looks as if the top were dipped in dirt, and only the top above the waist got washed.  The color difference on the runway is at least interesting, but this is just there.

She is beautiful and the dress doesn’t distract from her face, so that’s good, I guess.

I agree the blue/grey combo on the model’s version is better than the grey/yellow-grey combo she is wearing.

  • cooperalden

    yawn to all….(sorry)

    • 3boysful

Absolutely.  And a poorly accessorized yawn at that.

  • That does not fit her well at all, sadly.  It’d be cute if it fit her more like in the model pic.

  • tired_mommy

Why are the top and peplum just slightly different colors–would be cute if it was just the same fabric. Either way it’s better on her than the model.

  • Imasewsure

Wow… boring…. competent secretary who changed her shoes for Happy Hour… ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz

(OW, my head just hit the keyboard…okay, I’m awake now. Seriously, SNORE.)

  • Should have kept the model’s top. She’s too young to be looking so mature.

  • schadenfreudelicious

she bears a striking resemblance to a younger, darker haired Heather Graham

    • thank You for that! I was thinking she looked just like someone…….

    • DeborahJozayt

She reminds me of Twiggy 🙂

  • Boring and unflattering, which is sad because it has the potential to be cute.

  • imperfectlaura

The skirt and peplum proportions are not right.

  • Love the leather cuff.

I thought this was going to be a great dress and then scrolled further and it’s a fine sweater and top but as the masters would say not quite for the red carpet.  I do like the matchy shoes–well executed Barbie shoes.  I kind of feel like the whole outfit is sort of late 50s Barbie-ish–not a terrible thing just not quite for the red carpet.

The fit of the top is quite bad on her — it makes her look wide through the waist, which defeats the purpose of a peplum..
I like the shoes a lot.

  • Where’s the green, or royal blue, or burnt orange, or candy pink, or ANY other color purse she should be carrying?  Would have made a world of difference.  Also, in the first photo, for a second I thought the ring of the Audi logo was a big hoop earring she was wearing, and I couldn’t figure out why she’d be wearing it on only one ear.  Now I’m a little sorry it wasn’t a big hoop earring.  Whole outfit needs some pop, or else she looks like a receptionist at a Park Avenue law firm.

  • Not really digging that get up on the actress or the model. They both look flat-chested and hippy.  But still, is Bella not the cutest thing going or what? Those EYES!!!

  • Sara__B

Such a gorgeous face. Such a dreary outfit.

  • It’s not my favorite, but she looks so cute and put-together that I have to give it a thumbs-up even if I don’t actually like the outfit all that much. This girl really knows how to wear clothes.

Terribly unflattering on the boobs, though.

  • This is a missed opportunity. The outfit on the model was much sharper than the one Bella wore. It doesn’t look special, it looks like something you could buy at a local department store.

  • Rand Ortega

Glad she was able to leave the office in time for the premiere.

    • Exactly. I actually think it’s kind of cute, but I was thinking it was something me or one of the other gals could wear to the office. Perfectly demure but a little fun with the animal print. Not really movie premier material.

  • J. Preposterice

Meh. The changes in the top from the runway version were not for the better, and it still manages to kind of overwhelm her.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

Terrible shape, and perhaps a bit too big? It also seems a little matronly, a little “ladies who lunch” for such a young lady. She’s at a premiere, not a luncheon! Jazz it up a bit, Bella.

  • I like it but I wish it was the original top.

  • B_C_J

Beautiful woman wearing a top that is too big for her.  Additionally, the color difference in the model’s version is much more attractive than the one worn by Ms Heathcote.  This outfit is simply not flattering at all. She is fortunate  she is so beautiful.  Otherwise, in this outfit,  she would be forgettable.

Confused styling here. The top, as designed, is edgy, but the stylist dialed it down for this look. The vinyl/leather cuff reads edgy, but the purse and shoes are both safe/dull choices. The result is a fail, and that’s too bad.

  • MilaXX

Cute enough but I like the blue in the version the model is wearing.

  • MEH. It has potential, but it’s rather unremarkable one way or the other.

  • quiltrx

I love the outfit…BUT the peplum being a ‘dirtier’ grey is giving me a SEVERE eye twitch!  Better to be a more obvious color change, like the model, or even just 3 or 4 shades different in the grey.

  • It’s ALMOST Fierce, but it’s not quite there. I think the neckline the model is sporting would also suit Bella more. Dislike the shoes.

  • Rrroza

Over-modest-ified from the model version. Beyond the obvious loss of the blue, the neckline and shoulders are modified, and the skirt doesn’t look to be leather either. Softened, safer and unsuccessful . Too bad.

  • RzYoung

I could look at this little lady’s face all day long. Cute as a button. I thought the top was stiff and boxy at first but in profile it looks softer so I reckon it was just a funny photo.

  • Aurumgirl

    It’s secretarial.

  • oohsparkley!

Love the shoes! The rest of the outfit is fine for work, not really red carpet worthy.
