The skirt is lovely, but I wish this was in a pretty jewel tone.

    • Sobaika

It seems like she was the best dressed of the bunch, but I don’t think this is doing her much good. I don’t think light pink drape-y fluff is necessarily her look.

    • http://twitter.com/Nancer Nancer

      Very pretty.

I like the top, but then it just looks like the dress is falling apart from the waist down. I still think she looks pretty, the dress is just…odd.

It’s official “The no color dress” red carpet!!! She looks pretty!

      • kimmeister

At least her dress isn’t the exact same color as her skin, like with the other two.

        • RebeccaKW

At least we can’t see her ass cheeks!  That’s a win here.

    • http://twitter.com/jentanner2 Jen Tanner

absolutely LOVE the dress, especially the top half of it, but not really loving the pepto-bismol nail polish

      • DeborahJozayt

Me, too! It’s too neon for this dress.

        • bitchybitchybitchy

She needed a shade of pink nail polish that was complementary to the pale pink of the gown.

    • eowyn_of_rohan

Silky toilet paper.  A big basket of meh.

      • mmc2315

That is exactly what I thought!  It’s the toilet paper game at a bridal shower!

    • hyperionic

      Ugly.

    • LesYeuxHiboux

If this were a deep emerald green or raspberry, it would be a werq. As is, she looks pretty (fabulous, compared to others on that carpet).

    • gabbilevy

Take note, KStew. This is how you do a nude colored gown. Hair, face, jewels: all gorge.

      • l_c_ann

Strange world it was (in many ways) when to win, you only have to look prettier than the much touted above the movie title starlet.

    • LLuL

I don’t know about the dress, but SHE’S beautiful.

    • Judy_J

I have come to really dislike the Wilma Flintstone one-shouldered dresses.

    • nannypoo

I like it, but I’d like it better if it weren’t one-shouldered. Our angry middle aged blond fan (second picture) appears to not like any of it.

      • eowyn_of_rohan

That blond fan should really become a meme.

I am so sick of pus-colored dresses.

    • random_poster

Did this crowd think they were invited to the CMAs?  It seems that everyone at this movie premiere tried to outdo the other in the over-the-top department.

    • http://twitter.com/astrosexy єℓιzαвєтн。

I think everything is working here except for the colour of the dress. Shame.

    • ChelseaNH

Did the invitation specify “washed-out dresses ONLY”?

      But otherwise, not bad.

      • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

        THIS.

    • Billie_Dawn

Pretty, but is she wearing some kind of light-colored oil or lotion? Her skin looks really shiny, particularly on her upper chest. Maybe it’s just the reflection of the lights.

    • http://vhanna26.typepad.com Vera

She looks good enough, but the dress reminds me of mummy wrappings.

    • jw_ny

      Pretty.

There is enough color in this as well as enough contrast to her skin tone, that I think this works beautifully…unlike Kristen & Elle.

    • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

That top is awful – it makes her boobs look like they’re headed in two separate directions. The skirt isn’t much better. She looks like she’s farting chiffon.

    • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

I shouldn’t like this, but I do.  She looks all princessy and floaty.  The jewelry is amazingly stunning!

Was there an “unearthly colors only” dress code for this premiere?

    • MilaXX

Very pretty, my only very minor quibble is I think the ring is too big for such a girly look.

    • http://eclectictsunami.blogspot.com/ Cassie

It’s pretty, but I don’t think this fluffy, foofy drapey stuff really shows her off to her best effect. She seems to do better in semiformal settings when she can bring the fierce. Also, her hair looks kind of weird.

Still looks a hell of a lot better than K Stew, though.

    • j_anson

      Shiny.

    • marilyn

      Totally beauty pageant

    • B_C_J

It’s not a horrendous dress but it is a very BUSY dress. The bodice is weaved, the top is one shouldered with some sort of shoulder ornamentation and the skirt is complicated with multiple layers/strips of fabric.  Some editing with regard to all of these elements would have been a good thing.

    • http://twitter.com/#!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

Maybe my expectations have been lowered by the other nonsense worn at this premiere, but I think she looks really pretty here.

    • Little_Olive

Good in theory, but no. Not the right shape for her -especially the titscrepancy-, her makeup is overdone, the fabric lacks weight, the head portion of her hair is kind of limp… no.

      Shame ’cause she’s so pretty.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

It’s a pretty dress, but nothing remarkable about it. Her hair and makeup are beautiful, though.

    • decormaven

Take the ring. Leave the cannoli.

    • Imasewsure

Lose the boring tissue paper dress. Keep the jewelry (and I mean keep it… don’t let them take that from you, Gurl!)

    • margaret meyers

At least we can’t see her underpants.

    • oohsparkley!

Very pretty. Don’t like the nail polish.

    • Candigirl1968

Was there a rule to wear something flesh colored?

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_F73LIJ3SJGI5AJQMXMWXCKILHI Pamela

Could we BE more tired of all the pale, flesh-colored or pale pink or skin tone, beige-y, gawdawful gowns?  I think not.  Take those & the putty-colored platforms AWAY, please!!

    • Zippypie

      Shredded caucasian-flesh colored frippery.  Yuck.

    • http://twitter.com/aidanboleyn Aidan B

Meh. Too fussy, plus I don’t like the (lack of) color on her.

    • Hetha Innis

It reminds me so much of Demi Moore’s Oscar dress, which was gorgeous. I think this is fantastic and she has the right coloring to pull this non-color off. Beautiful.

    • librarygrrl64

The style is interesting, but the color is blah. She looks gorgeous from the neck up, though.

    • jmorino08

It’s overworked, but she can actually pull that color off I think because of her darker skin tone.

    • quiltrx

By far the prettiest no-color dress on this RC.

And what possessed her to wear the Barbie-pink fingernail polish? I’m all for natural nails (as in not acrylic, etc), but that color makes her hands look like a teenage girl’s.

And to finish the compliment sandwich, I love the earrings.

    • RzYoung

What an unflattering hair style, if you can call it a style

    • guest2visits

A perfectly beautiful, frothy, feminine gown and she looks wonderful in it. That is quite the star sized Bulgari-bauble she’s wearing.
I would have prefered both shoulder straps, or none at all, though.    Oh the humanity (behind her). The cast must be fearless by now.

    • Matt

She looks like she’s having fun, despite her old-lady hands.
