Stacy Keibler (x2)

Posted on October 08, 2012

We’ll say this for Miss Stacy: she definitely knows how to dress for the occasion. For instance:

Stacy Keibler attends the 4th Annual Variety’s Power of Women Luncheon Presented by Lifetime in a Theory dress accessorized with Jimmy Choo shoes, Neil Lane earrings, and a Carla Amorim ring.

Theory Bonbi Fit & Flare Dress

An industry luncheon for women? Why, here she is breaking out the super fresh and clean look. She looks lady-like, demure, and yet somehow kind of kickass with those gorgeous shoes.

But when it comes time to show up on the arm of her boyfriend for the premiere of the film he produced?

Stacy Keibler attends the premiere of ‘Argo’ in Los Angeles in a vintage Azzedine Alaïa dress accessorized with a Valentino clutch, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, and Neil Lane jewelry.

Valentino Va Va Voom Noir Small Flap Bag. Giuseppe Zanotti 120mm Silk and Swarovski Sandals.

BAM. Sextastic trophy girlfriend on tap.

It’s what we always say about what constitutes great style: Know the venue, know the image you want to project, and sell it, sell it, sell it.

Somebody in her sphere really knows what they’re doing.

She is stunning – draws the eye away from Clooney – I wouldn’t have thought it was possible.

      • HomeOfficeGirl

Kick ass muscles too – girl’s got it.

        • margaret meyers

Looks she did a couple of reps in the limo before she hit the carpet.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

This is the first time that I think Stacy has actually overshadowed Clooney when they’re doing the RC.

    • Zippypie

Love her lunch outfit, sans pee pose.  It’s sharp and crisp and flatters her immensely.  The premier dress looks like she’s ready to climb back into the ring.  That gets a big OUT.

    • christinewithanx

Wow! Too bad it isn’t her job to look good all the ti…nevermind. I’ll just be over here quietly envying.

    • MajorBedhead

I like the first look a lot better, but that’s mostly because I don’t like how far the backless-ness of that dress is coming around to her front. That said, she’s got a slammin’ bod for that type of dress.

    • bristlesage

That Alaia was made for her.  She’s keeping it on the right side of the sexy/trashy divide, possibly because of the simple makeup and hair.  Love it.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

Word. This is how you wear this kind of body-conscious look.

    • mjude

      i am impressed.

    • e jerry powell

At least she knows that at her height she doesn’t need the goat hooves on her feel.  I give her that much.

      I hate the goat hooves.

She needs to get her paws off of Clooney before I slap her.

    • l_c_ann

The black dress is a target dress and it looks great on her.  Which is why most won’t notice that her arm candy is looking a bit tired today.  And that may be the purpose of the dress…GC…looks ok, until you focus back on him.  As I did.

    • poggi

      Even her feet are pretty.

    • MzzPants

She’s got the perfect legs for the pointed pump…long and elegant.

    • ccinnc

I love that he apparently doesn’t mind that in those heels she’s 3″ taller than he.

      • glennethph

        Unlike Tom Cruise? lol

    • PinkLemon

I’m guessing Clooney’s been paying out the ass for a top notch stylist for her…there’s no way she’s doing this on her own.

      • lulukittie

She’s one tall drink of water.

      • Nelliebelle1197

Based on her earlier appearances, yes, you are correct!

      • Nelliebelle1197

Based on her earlier appearances, yes, you are correct!

      • boomchicabowwow

I’d go one step further and say that Clooney HIMSELF is styling her. 😉

    • charlotte

Wow! She doesn’t even look like the same person.

    • dress_up_doll

I find her incredibly boring, however, she does look pretty amazing in both looks.

    • Judy_S

I really like the simplicity of both looks. The black dress, when seen from the side, feels less “oh, stupid cutouts” and more like a serious swimsuit on a top athlete. Well, sort of serious.

    • afabulous50

      She looks fabulous (x2)

    • MilaXX

FAB! Love the freshness of the first look. As tired as I am of cut outs, she looks great here.

    • Stella Zawistowski

See that first outfit, Heidi? THAT is how you do legs.

    • cocohall

I can hear “She’s a brick house” in my head with the second look.  Gotta give it to the girl.

    • TieDye64

Stunning. I think the entire length of my body is shorter than her legs.

    • NC_Meg

She looks great in both BUT the length on the second dress isn’t working for me. It hits at such a weird spot.

      • Snailstsichr

I wondered if it was so you could see more of those killer shoes.

        • NC_Meg

The shoes ARE awesome. I would have saved them for another time and have this dress floor length.

    • MandyJane

She is all kinds of WOW.

    • Jessica TallGirl Freeman

I saw her in the premiere photos and was like, DAMN girl.  I’m kinda sad it’s not floor length, but who the hell cares when she wears it so well.

    • gabbilevy

I will say this–she’s hung onto George a lot longer than anyone expected. Girl knows what she’s doing. (While I prefer the first look, she looks slammin’ in both.)

    • nannypoo

The white dress is adorable, but I disagree with apparently everyone here. She’s too old for that flirty little skirt. Put it on Hailee Steinfeld or Kiernan Shipka, or dip it in a vat of dye and put it on a Fanning, and it would be perfect.

      • alyce1213

I agree with you, absolutely. And I don’t think it’s appropriate for an event called Power of Women.  Power of Girls maybe.

    • chelwi

      “But this is an Alaia!”

      • Stella Zawistowski

        An a-what-a?

      • Little_Olive

        Like, a totally important designer!

        You made my afternoon.

    • SapphoPoet

Love the fact that she is taller than Clooney.

    • Call me Bee

Wow–bringing it at both events.  Could it be that she’s grooming herself for…being single again?  I keep hearing that the two of them are on rocky ground right now…

    • kolokOlchik

Didn’t think they were still together 😉

    • Julie Chase

      That luncheon look is perfect.

    • Trisha26

I find that second look exceptionally vulgar. She’s pulling it off, but guess “sextastic” doesn’t do it for me.

    • Wellworn

Her best accessory?  Clooney’s hand on the small of her back.  I want one!

      • kimmeister

I second that motion!  (He does have two hands, after all.)

    • Wendi126

It’s always fun to see what she has on and I hope she gets to keep all the clothes. I can’t imagine who she will date next when GC is done with her. I wonder if she wonders every day if this is the last day. Probably worth it though

      • EEKstl

I think GC’s girlfriends typically have about a 2-year shelf life, so I think she’s good for awhile.

    • ojosazules

Her luncheon look is perfect. It’s so nice to see someone in a sharp little dress that isn’t three sizes too small.

    • NurseEllen

AND she knows what to do with her hair.  If those two looks had been reversed, it would have been unhappy.  Down for demure, back for bombshell.  Nice job!  Nice boyfriend, too.

    • kcarb1025

Why is she at a Powerful Women in Hollywood event when she doesn’t do anything ? Does being an A-lister’s flavor of the month really make you a mover and shaker?

    • GTrain

She looks amazing in both! However, unless she was standing next to George, I couldn’t pick her out of a line up.

    • Joyce VG

She’s fabulous!  I hope she still gets invited to red carpet events after George dumps her because she’s stunning!

    • formerlyAnon

I guess this is one of those times I am just too hetero.  I LOVE the lunch outfit, but the only thing sexy to me about the premiere ensemble are the shoes. The dress looks too much like sports gear and her body just looks toned to me, not alluring.

I can get sexy out of the luncheon dress, the other, well . . . it’s as if somebody tried to make a dress that would look good on an athletic, androgynous woman by starting with a swimsuit or a triathalete’s top and adding a skirt to it.

ETA: I never thought I’d say it, but last spring’s photos weren’t a jet-lagged, bad cold, etc. fluke. Clooney is starting to age in ways that reflect the genes of a mere mortal. He’s still handsome, but he’s losing that supernatural ability to look older without looking like an older man.

    • Qitkat

The Kluminator could take lessons from Stacy on how to dress sexy but not slutty. She is always so gorgeous.

    • MinAgain

I love that first look, head to toe.  The second, not so much–too much tan and a weird length on the skirt.  That said, those are some killer shoes with the second look.

    • Cathy S

I’m not crazy about the black gown, but that white dress is fantastic on her.

    • Heather

Love how she’s a head taller than him in those shoes.

    • NatalieD28

She is just so stunning. I actually always find myself looking at her first, and then Clooney after! (But I’ve never really been a huge Clooney girl anyways.) I was pretty young when she first became popular, and was in my awkward phase as I was just so darn tall, and I always loved having another tall girl who (at least seems) proud of her height who’s gorgeous to boot to look up too!

    • Courtney

Being Clooney’s current gf has done wonders for her. She’s getting invited to events and interviewed as if she’s actually relevant or currently doing anything worth speaking of other than serving George his little blue pills before doing the horizontal tango for 15 mins twice a week.

    • frankystein123

A lady at a prestigious (or not) venue and sex-on-legs at a red carpet event. Nice.

    •!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

It’s what we always say about what constitutes great style: Know the
venue, know the image you want to project, and sell it, sell it, sell

      Words to live by!

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

She is very attractive.  But – what does she do?  Is she an actress or a model or what?  I’m so out of touch.  I supposed I am so old that I still think that people who are in the media are somehow there for a reason.

      • Lisa

I have no idea – I know she did Dancing with The Stars and that’s about it.  But nevertheless, she looks amazing!

      • littlemac8

She was a lady wrestler!!!! for God’s sake!!!!!

      • Bozhi

I do not know who 99% of these people are, so I look some of them up on Wikipedia.  She was a wrestler, NFL cheerleader and did some acting.  She was also on Dancing With the Stars.

I still never heard of her.  I don’t follow any of that.

    • FourPointOhMyGracious

She has a FORTY TWO inch inseam. That’s insane.

    • Vera

Sensational. I’ve had a girl crush on her since Dancing with the Stars,  George is a fool if he dumps her.

    • guest2visits

Just amazing in the white dress – sexy and classy in equal parts. The black dress looks like a very glam bathing suit.

    • quiltrx

Her luncheon dress is SO cute, and very flattering.

The premiere dress looks like an extended bathing suit.  Ugh.

    • ccm800

DOUBLE WERQ Caps intended!  Yikes girl! you look slamming!!!!!!!

    • thecitysleeps

She looks beautiful but I find the whole Clooney situation disgusting.  I mean sure both get the benefits, but yuck.

    • J. Owen Dickson

It might be somebody in her sphere who is responsible for her consistently spot-on styling choices, but she probably brings a lot to the table as well.  Remember that she has a background in pro-wrestling, which is an arena where, quite often, costume is character, because there just aren’t that many ways to convey a character in that environment.  If you think about the episode of Project Runway where they made the wrestling costumes, you could see it there, too.  Those women all knew “This is who my character is, so it needs to look like _______.” It doesn’t surprise me that a woman of that background would retain that skill and be able to utilize it on runways.

    • Carly Warnock

She is seriously gorgeous. Oh, what I would do for that Theory dress.

    • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

Love both dresses – love the hair, makeup, shoes in both looks.  Gorgeous!  (but I thought they broke up?  Was that just a nasty rumor??)
