Stacy Keibler in SoHo

Posted on October 11, 2012

This is head-to-toe fabulous:

Stacy Keibler doing some shopping in SoHo in New York City.

Tory Burch ‘Bernadine’ Wool-blend Peacoat

MICHAEL Michael Kors Color Skinny Jeans

We’ve got nothing else to add. The shades, the jacket, the jeans, the sweater, the shoes and the giant bag are giving us life. It’s pretty much a perfect fall daytime look. And the perfect capper to this styled-to-within-an-inch-of-its-life look? The total bitchface. As if she found it annoying to have her picture taken while walking down the street when it’s as obvious as the nose on her face that she dressed specifically to get her picture taken while walking down the street. Attagirl. You’re an A-Lister now.

How the hell does Stacy “Mile-Long Legs” Keibler find jeans too long for her?! HOW!?

      • MilaXX

When you have money I doubt finding jeans in a long length is that much of a problem

        • nancylee61

She sure has expensive clothes for a Dancing With the Star participant. Do you think she is being kept??? After going to that “I Am A Strong Woman” luncheon the other day.
What does Stacy Kiebler do for a living? Inquiring minds want to know.

          • rivula

She’s mostly famous (in the fashion world, at least) for being a kept woman, right?  I doubt her wrestling career put her on Michael Kors’ (or TLo’s, or mine) radar.

          • Kate4queen

She had a career before she met George Clooney as first a cheerleader and then a professional wrestler, so she was quite well known in her sphere even before her DWTS days and Clooney capture. I doubt she needs his money. :)

            • nancylee61

I doubt wrestling or DWTS have put her in the clothes, and especially the gowns,  she regularly wears. I think George has more to do with that.

            • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

Not necessarily. Her high profile and jaw-dropping body would have practically any design house throwing their wares at her.

            • nancylee61

I do agree that now that she is in the public eye, she is a magnet for people giving her clothes. But her profile is high because of Clooney, not her own accomplishments. She offends my sense of feminism, which I know is not the nature of this post. Sorry for the sidetracking!

            • curiouserandcuriousest

But what would you like her to do? Reject the clothes since they are being offered to her on the back of accomplishments maybe not her own? And go out to A-list events wearing only dresses she can afford and paid for herself, just to make a statement? Guess it would be refreshing …

Anyway, yes, to stay on topic, I love the colours here, especially the pop of the turquoise necklace and its contrast with the jeans.

            • Kate4queen

well sure, being in the public eye and on George Clooney’s arm I doubt she lacks clothing choices these days, although celebrity networth has her at about $4.5M which would be good enough for me :)

            • joything

celebrity networth?  Is that a web site?  Please say yes.

            • Kate4queen

              yes, yes it is :) celebritynetworth,com I believe :)

          • MilaXX

I think WWE wrestlers make a decent penny, but I think Clooney cash has certainly come in handy with her current RC and public outings.

          • formerlyAnon

You never know, but she doesn’t even have to have made all that much money (by celeb standards) to have more than she needs. She started as a pro football cheerleader before she finished college (which she did, with a respectable record, supposedly) and had a big WWF career.

It would have been easy for her to learn how to manage her money and who to hire to take care of it for her, just by listening to the men she would meet at official events for sponsors/organizers/advertisers.  She probably wouldn’t even have had to really date them.

I’m a tall girl too… I usually get “long” or “extra long” lengths when I buy pants or jeans. Lots more retailers and designers are offering them nowadays.

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

Tall Girl 3 chiming in to say, surprisingly even Target and Wal-Mart carry long lengths now.  You know, just when ‘ankle’ and ‘cropped’ become fashionable. Of course.

        • Tall and Salty

The link to those jeans says that they have a 31.5 inch inseam.  Her pants look much longer than that.  Dear Duchess, please make these available for the rest of us.  Thanks!

          • instantkarmalr

Amen!  I’m 5’11” with a 35-36” (35” for skinnies, but that’s it) inseam and I would LOVE it if more pants were available in my length.  There are tons of 33-34” pants, but 35-36” is much more difficult to find — especially for an even relatively reasonable price.

        • LesYeuxHiboux

Agreed, those are long enough to not ride up and show a bunch of ankle when sitting. Great for autumn.

    • Anathema_Device

I don’t even like that color jean, but I love this look. That’s how fabulously put together she is. Can someone forward this to Jessica Biel?

      • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

With particular side notes about the hair?  lol  My only tiny quibble is that the pants are an inch too long, and its making them bunch a little.

        • http://www.facebook.com/andreas.stahl Andreas Stahl

I actually like that length of pants. It means that she can sit down with them without them getting too uncomfortable or exposing too much lower thigh/ankle. All in all: Well done.

          • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

We think skinny pants actually look better with a little bunching at the ankle.

            • Anathema_Device

Aw man, I was going to say the same thing! But here I am, merely agreeing with T Lo, as usual. ;-)

I like the slouchy look of a little bunching, but not so far as puddling,at the ankle. Also, it makes the jeans work with different shoes that way (lIke over a bootie).

            • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

Agree with TLo here. Maybe it’s a personal preference, but I prefer a little extra length on my skinnies, too.

            • NC_Meg

Me too. Which is good because I am 5’1″ and all pants bunch at the ankle on me.

          • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

I hadn’t considered the sitting issue.  Thanks!

          • http://profiles.google.com/ameliaheartsu Amelia Logan

True! I go to alanon meetings and apparently there is a rule that if you are 40+ you must wear pants that bare your ankles when you sit down. Men and Women both.

            • formerlyAnon

First laugh out loud of the day!  Thanks.

          • http://twitter.com/Alloyjane Alloy Jane

Exactly. If they stop at the ankle, they ride up a bit when you sit and then start exposing your legs at the unflattering point of the lower calf.

        • kimmeister

I don’t like ankle bunching, but that’s because I have thick ankles!  Then again, I don’t generally wear skinny pants either so I might as well bow out of this topic.

    • MilaXX

      She look great. Full stop.

    • gabbilevy

Brava! Snaps up, girl! I LOVE this look.

    • nannypoo

She does look good. She’s kind of a ridiculous fame whore, but she looks good.

    • SewingSiren

      I thought it was Posh.

      • stellamaris73

The little screencap made me think so, too. It’s the severe hair and big sunglasses, I think.

    • http://www.djplaw.com/ Tadiana

Great look.  I’m rooting for her.  I guess I just want her to be the one to break George Clooney’s heart at the end of his string of trophy girlfriends.

      • nancylee61

She has a good ride right now, she is not going to be the one to break it off. The girl was practically unknown before dating Clooney, who really looks silly with such young women recently.

    • jw_ny

It’s a great look. She usually gets it right.

       Love the “bitch face” :D

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

      WERQ.

    • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

Do we think the man next to her is a bodyguard/handler?  Or just some random guy with a tote?  Just curious.

I love the navy/orange color combo, still really striking without being as halloween-y as black/orange.

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_2CNDPMVO4W23R5TVC2QMTJ5BZE Heather

From what I can see of him, he looks more like a Shopping Companion, if anything.

    • Judih1

I like everything but the necklace – it looks cheap to me.

    • Rand Ortega

Wish I could get a better look at the bag. The handle seems very unique. Any idea on the brand? BK’s? PUF’s?

      • http://profile.yahoo.com/OHRGWHCFMKTE6SHS7GJRZ674B4 E

        It’s YSL. http://www.shopstyle.com/item/yves-saint-laurent-mytheresa-hobos-roady-leather-bag/348966463?pid=22161&pdata=onsugar1922261,25386410

    • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

I love orange and turquoise in the same outfit.

    • AthenaJ

The pants remind me of creamcicles… or an orange julius.

    • Pants_are_a_must

Fantastic, super-styled daytime look, but she needs to work on her bitchface. Less sour mouth, more tight eyes.

    • twocee

      WANT that coat.

    • kschwarting

It’s mostly great, BUT I cannot get behind the gumball necklace or the sweater that looks like something I wore in the 80s.  With that said, I envy her figure!

    • fungstyle

I don’t feel like this is styled within and inch of it’s life… it’s simple and chic, is it so hard to believe she can put a sweater, jeans, and jacket together with some cute accessories all on her own? Certainly she was prepared to be photographed but sometimes you also just want to look cute, even just running around town.

      • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

        Aren’t you cute.

        • fungstyle

Why thank you – I suppose my young minded simply isn’t jaded enough yet (as evidence by the fact that my day has been completely made just by getting a snarky comment from my favorite bloggers!)

      • lbl

I’m with you on this one. I was actually surprised by that comment because this is basically my fall uniform once it gets chilly and I thought a lot of other girls dressed this way too. I’d just get rid of the sunglasses and switch to a bright sweater with dark jeans combo because I don’t have her shape.

    • afabulous50

I’m not a fan of the jean color – but stylewise she looks great.

    • Imasewsure

Never liked her RC looks much because she seemed like a more casual type so I am loving this. She looks great! I want her sweater and necklace (pants too but I couldn’t rock that color!).

    • IMNAngryLiberal

Any idea where that top/sweater came from?  I basically think colored skinny jeans are hideous, but that peacoat and top/sweater are awesome!

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/OHRGWHCFMKTE6SHS7GJRZ674B4 E

I’m curious about the sweater too! I love it!

    • melanie0866

I disagree.  Those jeans are too lightweight for October, and the sweater and Grandma necklace are ugly.

    • Annabelle Archer

I feel like someone should send this pic to Heidi Short and Tight Klum.  She seemingly can’t dress for casual and Stacy is giving me Heidi-esqe feelings.  Overall, very well played.

      • l_c_ann

I’m afraid that look might not translate to Heidichen.

We should all look 1/5 as good.

    • Jennifer L.

She looks gorgeous – love the texture of the sweater with the jeans – but I totally thought this was Victoria Beckham at first glance.

    • Dhammadina

Cream of pumpkin soup pants. Fall is really here.

    • http://julia_here.livejournal.com/ Julia

That is such an excellent sweater, I wish we knew who made it. I’ve been poking the internet hoping somethig would fall out, but there’s a lot of not-quite matches (Michael Kors has a mixed-blue marled cashmere sweater, but it’s solid color and a single stitch).

    • joything

I meant to comment in the previous StacyK post – it’s charming how George Clooney picks girlfriends who could probably pick him up and carry him to the car if his back acts up.

      • formerlyAnon

You are my fleeting Internet crush for the next 10 minutes on the strength of this comment. I will periodically smile to myself as I work [assuming I get off of this site and DO any work], thinking of it.

    • miagain

shoes shoes shoes…. any idea who made the shoes? Are they Coach??

      • IMNAngryLiberal

Maybe Manolo’s — he makes a quilted ballet flat with a patent leather toe.

    • LauraWL

Eh. I actually don’t like this look. The pants look thin and cheap and that washed out orange doesn’t go well with her skin tone. The jacket would be alright with a dress maybe? I dunno. I don’t love the jacket. Maybe it needs to be shorter? Longer? I think her hair looks fine and the glasses are adorable but she needs some color on her lips. If she had done a bolder colored pant (maybe a wide leg) and a bold lip I would have liked this.

    • Qitkat

werq. Lower case because it’s casual.

    • Myra C

I want it all.  I don’t even like orange skinny jeans but I want it. I never thought I’d say this about Keibler but she looks hella CHIC.  Like how Audrey would dress if she were still alive.  Did I just type that?!?!

    • http://heartprintandstyle.blogspot.com Vivi N

      I’m not impressed.

    • alyce1213

She’s dressed like many chic women in SOHO, only with much longer legs. It’s nice to see her without a gummy Clooney grin on her face.  She’s really great looking.

    • lasavage

What brand are her sunglasses? I love those.

    • LesYeuxHiboux

The cutest outfit! Love a blue and orange combo, and that print is perfectly deployed. I’ve really enjoyed seeing Ms. Keibler pop up here so much lately, because we have similar body types (tall, curvy/athletic) and it helps me play pretend dress-up to have a gal like her popping up in the schmancy designer wares. The accessories are great as well, I’d love to have that necklace and those shades in my wardrobe.

    • Vanja

That’s a great coat and I want those glasses. I don’t really like the trousers, but that’s because I used to own a long-sleeved jumpsuit in that same colour. *It was the 80’s okay?!*

    • Rebecca Jay

I hate colored jeans, and that coat looks like it belongs on a little boy.

      Cute sweater, though.

    • formerlyAnon

I think she looks fabulous. Thank goodness because I rarely think that well of her RC looks.

She so often looks [to me] like a really  athletic, competent and pleasant woman – like the pro-but-not-at-all-famous tennis player who shops at your grocery store and with whom you discuss the ripeness of tomatoes – decked out in dresses that stop in some awkward place between sex kitten and Rockette.

I think the shades are what put this ensemble over the line into notable.

    • KathKo

I guess she didn’t got the bag for free, or else she would do a better job showcasing it.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_F73LIJ3SJGI5AJQMXMWXCKILHI Pamela

Is it cold enough yet for a wool peacoat on top of a sweater?  I think not.

    • Zippypie

I like the outfit, hate the necklace.  And the bitchface is perfect.

    • Magatha

Like it a bunch, the whole look.

But I wonder if I am the only one whose second thought (after “Ooh, fabulous!”) was, “Is anyone writing an R-rated screenplay starring Stacy and Charlize Theron, and if not, why not?”, because if I *am*, well, I guess I’d better get started on the script. If the idea is too blonde for y’all, we could add Morena Baccarin. Now I am way OT, so I’ll be in my bunk.

    • http://twitter.com/cornekopia Shawn EH

Very sophisticated. Looks slightly less plastic and Anita Bryant-y than in her runway pics. I think it’s the blonde hair I usually hate. Too Playboy girlfriend.

    • julesj

I don’t understand covering someone because she is the girlfriend of…

    • quiltrx

At 5’11”  I have a horrible time finding jeans that cover my ankles.  How does this Amazon get them TOO LONG!

    • RzYoung

      Stupendous!

    • http://vhanna26.typepad.com Vera

Not feeling the necklace, but everything else is super duper fab–especially that coat.  WTG Stacey K!

    • AutumnInNY

Great outfit. A figure to die for, a succesful career, George Clooney and from all accounts a wonderful life…too bad she has nothing to smile about.

    • kcarb1025

An A-lister? For WHAT? Again… why are we seriously treating her like she’s industry royalty when all she does is beard for an actual A-lister who does actual WORK???

      • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

Switch to decaf. No one’s treating her like royalty.

        • kcarb1025

When you call someone an “A-lister” – as you did her in the post, I didn’t pull it out of thin air – then you are in fact calling him/her industry royalty. Who else would be? The C-listers? Clooney absolutely is A-list; she is not.

          • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

No, you decided to interpret that as “industry royalty.” We meant it the way it’s normally used: a celebrity who is getting a lot of press and going to the right parties.

    • Candigirl1968

I want all of this. Right now.
