PR: Judging the Judges, Finale

Posted on October 19, 2012

Hit it, ladies!

Nina Garcia in Lanvin

Lanvin Fall 2012 Collection

She killed it. Her last couple of outfits have bored us just a little, but this is hitting all our buttons. And it’s a great way to work the black she favors while still bringing some glamour to the proceedings. Plus, it looked great sitting down.

This Week’s Score: 5/5

Cumulative S10 Score: 4.26/5

Heidi Klum in Alexandre Vauthier

Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2012 Collection

Not gonna lie: we both laughed in the tent when she came out. She REALLY wants the world to know she’s single and still got it. She made a big deal about the show’s tenth anniversary in her intro (most of which was cut or cobbled together from the two or three takes we sat through), so we get why she went all uber-glam, but this looked really awful while she was seated. A bit much, Fraulein.

This Week’s Score: 2.5/5

Cumulative S10 Score: 3.2/5

Jennifer Hudson in Michael Kors Resort 2013

We wanted to like this, but it’s just not working for us. That’s a great color, but we’re not so sure it’s her color. It’s bringing out the yellow in her skin tone. And while we like the jacket and the bustier top, those pants are doing her no favors at all. The look needed some contrast to break it up. It’s good, but it’s not great.

This Week’s Score: 3.5/5

Previous Guest Judge Scores:
Zoe Saldana: 5/5
Hillary Duff: 3.75/5
Debra Messing: 3.75/5

Heidi, take this opportunity to reflect.

  • Every time Heidi got off her stool to kiss someone auf, more of her ass was hanging out.

    • BrooklynBomber

Yes, Mr. Bomber, who was working on something, looked up while Heidi was sitting in her chair, and commented on the surprising amount of cleavage. I had to stop the tape and show him there was a whole other cleavage situation he was missing out on.

  • HomeOfficeGirl

Oh my gosh, I hate Jennifer’s outfit!  Was it supposed to be so….. “80’s?” you think?  The shoulder pads and color and belt and…pants.  Ugh!  Hate it!!  So out of place for the setting too.

    • tereliz

Is it pants and a bustier, or a strapless jumpsuit? Love the color, just not with that lippy.

      • shirab

I wondered the same thing. I believe it’s one piece–I don’t see a line break (or whatever it’s called–I’m an editor, not a seamstress) between the bustier and the pants. Eek. Looks a little like a tube of toothpaste.

      • Sweetvegan

        I was thinking that – it’s not a bustier and pants. That’s a jumpsuit! So 80s!

  • I was hoping for a special “Judging the Judges” for the finale: Michael Kors versus T Lo!

    • wisenhar

That’s not even a contest.  T Lo have much better personal style than Michael Kors.

      • And, I’ve been waiting for this post all day!

      • UsedtobeEP

Yes, but they are blogging from the comfort of their couches, correct? And with cats in tow. I don’t know that I would let anyone judge me at home on my couch in the evenings when no one is supposed to be able to see me. : )

        • MoHub

They are now, but they were actually at the show—and very likely dressed better than Kors.

      • MoHub

but I think Kors outpointed Klum this time around. Give him credit for that.

  • 3boysful

I will probably be in the minority here, but I loved the fabric of Heidi’s dress.  If it had had some more coverage, it would’ve been great.  As it is, from a seated perspective, it looks like the sleeves of a gold sweater thrown over her bare chest.  Talk about your taste issues.

  • NDC_IPCentral

More fun in this post than those for the contestants, with good reason.  Ah, Project Runway, we knew ye when.   I share Our Boys’ lack of invested feeling as this season wore on, and even last night I spent more time looking elsewhere and reading about our kale fascination in the T Lounge than at the clothes or the manufactured sturm und drang on the screen.

Looking forward to more Judge judging for the All Stars, which is coming almost indecently quickly.  B-M, LT and Heidi, don’tcha know that anticipation can heighten viewer interest?  Oh, yeah, I forgot – Season 10 just wasn’t that interesting.  And I’m forgetting it already.

    • UsedtobeEP

I am actually really looking forward to All Stars. It’s like BM and the contestants threw caution to the win and said, “OK, there are a few contestants here with real talent (Uli, I am looking at you!!) and several who might really cut each other with those scissors, so let’s bring out the crazy—death match competition with Wendy Pepper and Ivy, refereed by Josh!”

  • Teri Brinson

Nina’s dress was amazing but the shoes could have been more exciting than black platform pumps, maybe metallic pewter strappy stilettos or something. Jennifer looked pretty as usual but I’m not into the monochromatic look, can’t wait until it goes away. Heidi, oh Heidi, please put some clothes on, it was so awkward watching people try to hug you with all that bare flesh everywhere. Also, that dress reminded me of J-Lo’s disaster Versace dress so long ago.

    • Nina’s Dress – didn’t give her the hips that the model had. Looks great on her!

      • Susan Crawford

The tailoring of the dress was definitely toned down for Nina. She is quite tiny, and those exaggerated hips would NOT be to her taste. And she has AH-MAZE-ING taste, doesn’t she?

  • When Heidi came out, I laughed and my 12-year-old son said, “Wow, why is she wearing that?”
“Because she just went through a divorce and…”
“She wants all the boys to know she’s available?”
    “Pretty much.  Yeah.”

And as for JHud?  Holy cameltoe, Batman. (I know it’s not actual cameltoe, but in that first picture… wow.)

    • ballerinawithagun

Yes, it is just laughable especially when it is always MK commenting on the crotches when the designers have no time to re-fit them. His team would certainly have had time to correct this problem.

  • DaveUWSNYC

    That crotch is insane.

  • Darva Sutra

La Nina is perfection!!  Heidi is gorgeous and her body’s still bangin, but that dress pulls her girls down.  After a certain age and 4 kids, bras are your FRIENDS, honey.  Her look as a whole made me gasp *desperation* when she walked out.  It doesn’t need to be this way.  The judges often talk about the “taste” or “styling” miscues of contestants… Michael and Nina need to tackle Heidi and do a fashion intervention on her.

  • crash1212

Man, that dress on Heidi was tragic – Doesn’t even look good on the “real” model – and, seated…well, it was just embarrassing. Reflect, indeed. Nina really brought it for this episode, and all season, really. Don’t care and never did about “guest” judges at the finale – they are usually irrelevant and Jennifer was even more so…although I do like this color on her, it’s just such a LOT of the same color.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

I think I actually prefer  the short, shiny and tight  fasion version of Heidi to this cougaresque display of desperation.

      • grouchywif

Pop Jenna Jameson’s head onto Heidi and she’d fit right in at the Porn Academy Awards.

How Heidi can lecture anyone on taste is beyond me.

  • Scarlet39

I suppose I have to stop asking myself why PR is picking the guest judges they do.  I like JH just fine, but what qualifies her (or 99% of the other celebrities) to be a judge?

  • PastryGoddess

Woo hoo Nina for the win!

And Fraulein Klum either show your tits OR your legs.  You’re getting a bit old for the sequined bath towel looks.

I think Michael Kors should wear cowboy boots next season

  • Heidi’s girls aren’t as perky as she thinks they are any more. That gown is not helping her sell the goods.

    • And her orange tan didn’t help either. She blended with the outfit.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

Waaaaay too much spray tan -I’m not sure which is more troubling. The tan or that laughable excuse for a gown.

    • ballerinawithagun

Definitely not perky. There must have alot of tape in use.

  • Sobaika

I’m sorry, but if you’re fair-skinned, you should NOT be wearing anything the color of Heidi’s dress. It looks so much better on the model than on her.

  • No question, it goes to Nina!  Heidi looked, well, desperate, and Jennifer ended up looking like the roof of a old Howard Johnson’s. Too much of one color, with no texture variance to break it up.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

When a guest judge’s outfit results in a HoJo reference, that is not a good thing.

    • ballerinawithagun

Howard Johnson’s! Ha ha! With her orange lip color, it is exactly HoJo. This color combination could be good on a trendier design but MK clothing is only meant to be in classic colors.

  • I think you guys need to include Tim in the judging for next season. He’s a judge of sorts, just prior to the runway. And I’m interested to see what you guys think of some of his pattern mixing between the suit, tie and handkerchiefs he wears. Also, totally agree that Nina killed it, and just don’t get Heidi’s looks at all from this season.

    • tereliz

The first suit he wore in this episode was so snappy! When he told Christello to stop being petulant. Loved it.

      • I agree. That was awesome. And totally fitting with the maturity he brings to the show. Plus, he was so spot on with that.

  • BrooklynBomber

I like the color on Hudson, but agree the pants are a little not right.

    Heidi’s dress is just ridiculous.

  • BrooklynBomber

Nina really is tiny, isn’t she? Mr. B has seen her a couple times, once in NY and once in LA, and he said she’s very short. I didn’t realize it (I guess ’cause she’s got a big presence), but next to HK & JH, I realize it’s true. (And JH is tall!)

    • Lattis

Yeah, on that “big presence” thing – one time I was on an airport shuttle sitting behind Michelle Bachman of all people. I’d recently seen her on tv and thought she must be big and tall because of her big presence. She was tiny. (tiny and scary)

      • Girl_With_a_Pearl

Bachman is scary all right, but I don’t think it’s just her appearance.

        • Lattis

          amen, pal.

      • BrooklynBomber

        Haha – “tiny and scary.”

  • Dear Lord..Heidi..the girls are closer to your elbows than your ears…get a bloody foundation garment . Saggy boobs flatter no one at any age. Sheesh !

  • Judy_S

I thought that Hudson looked great. I agree about Nina. Actually I did think she could rock Dmitri’s crazy jacket, because she was rocking that crazy dress.
Heidi…. well, it wasn’t awful, just silly and vulgar in a charming way, until she sat down.

  • Rand Ortega

When is a sparkly bedspread tied in a knot a dress? Never. Not even on wanna be sex bomb Fraulein Klum.
What’s wrong w/ yellow undertones? Just curious. JHud should’ve left the jacket at home. A jumpsuit on its own could’ve been very fashion forward & sexy. This just looked like an ad executive just leaving the office. Nice Charlotte Olympia shoes.
    Nina– bitch brought it. Boom!

  • fnarf

I liked Jennifer’s color, a lot, and while it may not work so much standing I thought she looked fine on the stool. Super fine, in fact.

Nina’s dress looked like it was made by Elena. That shape!

  • MilaXX

Agree all around. I’m actually starting to feel a bit sad for Heidi. She really looked desperate this season.

    • kimmeister

The lip color clashed terribly with the color of the pantsuit.

  • Valdri8

I think it would be fabulous for TLo to do a post with a series of screencaps of Nina looking at Heidi with her secret thoughts written below the photo. Come on, TLo, we know that you know what Nina is thinking.

  • mjude

did. not. like. heidi’s look at. all.

  • Lattis

Even orange-ing up her skin didn’t make that color look good on Heidi. It looks so much better on the darker skin of the model.

And every time I see Nina killing it in the company of tall tall tall tall women – I smile.

  • alyce1213

A NEW LOW FOR HEIDI.  That is one of the most vulgar, ugly, unflattering shmattas I have ever seen.
As if the mammogram-ready chest opening were not enough, it’s also overly revealing on the sides and back, and the color and fabric are awful. A desperate, ridiculous look. I was embarrassed for her.
    I give her a solid 0.  I take it back — I give her -1.

Jennifer’s jumpsuit is boring and dated.   I agree with the 3.5.

I like Nina’s dress, but she’s looked better.  Her hair is really starting to bug me.  I’d give her a 4.0 this week.

  • Anathema_Device

As  I said in the Lounge last night: Hudson looks like a sexy Girl Scout leader in that pantsuit.

Heidi needs to reassess her clothing choices on this show. (She looks great in her casual outfits.)

Nina for the win, as usual.

  • Susan Crawford

Why, oh, WHY didn’t Michael Kors provide Miss Hudson with a gown or a chic little cocktail dress? In that resort piece, she looked as though Heidi and Nina hijacked her as she headed to the Ivy for lunch with her agent. She deserved better. As for the suit, I had to chuckle because isn’t it our own Michael Kors who is always ready to jump on pants where the crotch is kinda wonky? Why, yes, I believe it IS. And he put the guest judge into pants that were all kinds of wrong?

I liked the color of the outfit, but honestly, I must take issue with whoever did JHud’s makeup, because those screaming orange lips with that turquoise/teal color? Scary!

    Nina? Perfection. Just perfection.

And now: Heidi. OK, let’s look first at the elephant (or elephants) in the room. And by elephants I mean breasts. Yes, dear Heidi, you have pushed four children out, and you have an incredible body. But after a certain point, we ALL need a little help in the chestal area. Granted, the dress was barely there, but that is what our old friend TAPE is for. And a built-in bra. And during the auf walk, we were dealing with some heinie cleavage, weren’t we? Yes, we were.

Over the course of this season, the Kluminator went way overboard on the short, tight and shiny. She embraced the cut-to-the-navel look. She bound herself in glitter Ace bandages. She wore a green satin dress that proved once and for all that she has quite a prominent navel. Let us all pray that in the coming year, she marries that hot bodyguard so she can relax a little and put the good china back in the cupboard.

    • alyce1213

She won’t marry the bodyguard.  She’s too shrewd a businesswoman for that.

      • Susan Crawford

Probably not. Unless she can market him somehow.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

Amen to that….no way is that guy going to be anything more than a studly boytoy. I agree that Heidi is far too shrewd to legally entangle herself to a lesser mortal.

    • Jennifer Coleman

JHud was more like Hojo with that turquoise suit and orange lip. I don’t mind the turquoise as an accent, but there was entirely too much of it. Add The Duchess’ crazy crotch and the fact that the skinny leg is not a knock-kneed girl’s friend and you have much to be desired.
Please somebody, get Heidi a super hot, hot boy-toy to marry & kick out another kid or 2 so she’ll dial the hoochie look down a notch.Nina, well, I just salute you.

  • granddelusion

God, Heidi, you have a bajillion kids. Grow up, already.

  • hughman

    Dear Heidi –

Copying J-Lo’s Versace dress won’t get you the menz. Has it done her any good?? Exactly. C’ya!

  • We suggest Heidi drop the pretenses and wear all her Victoria’s Secret outfits for season 11. Ms. Hudson looked like a spokesperson for Dottie’s Uniforms. We detest strapless so can only give Ms. Nina a 4 out of 5. Plus she looked rather tired, her hair flat (not that we blame her. She was probably just as thrilled as we were the season was ending)

  • MissAnnieRN

I do not get why all the lady stars are wearing shoes of that design.  That platform just reminds me of a horseshoe.

  • With the shoulder treatment, I swear Heidi’s dress looked like she took a pair of drapes, snapped off the extra curtain rod, and arranged it to cover her bits.
    Ugly drapes, too.

    • NDC_IPCentral

Scarlett O’Hara did it much better, and she got the man and kept the mansion.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

      • MoHub

As did Bob Mackie for Carol Burnett.

  • “Tlo said: Heidi, take this opportunity to reflect.”

    And buy a bra.

  • i actually liked jennifer hudson’s outfit. it’s pleasant on my eyes, though for some reason i can’t stop looking at the crotch.

  • jmorino08

Isn’t that the same designer Heidi wore to the Emmys? I remember his name because it’s so close to Gauthier. I think she found her fashion soul mate!

  • Sam

If I was ever a guest Judge on this show I’d wear an all white suit, I’d be a reverse Micheal Kors.

  • peacockprincess

Sorry boys but I have to deduct points for Nina’s hair.  I know she loves her mane, but it looks awful in these pictures.  If you are going to give her 5 out of 5, then everything should be rocking.

  • patticake1601

Please don’t kill me for this, but I like Heidi’s dress. It is totally not the place to wear it though. It’s tacky, too much flesh, but I love it, it’s so Heidi. Again please excuse my bad taste, I am not usually into uber hoochie fashion.

Nina looked gorgeous, Jennifer was ok, I don’t hate her suit. But I don’t think it was her color either.

  • I love N.G., but please, if you’re going to wear your hair like that all the time, use more product to get rid of the fly away hairs that show up in every shot.

  • Jennifer Hudson’s pantsuit looks like hospital scrubs, in color and in fit. I loathe it, from head to toe. She’s got a freakin’ Pinterest braid, fer cryin’ Pete.

Nina looks smashing but she needs to do something about the flyaway hair. She can definitely afford the best of hair stylists. Do something about that.

Heidi. Oh, Heidi, Heidi, Heidi. You are rich and beautiful. Stop dressing like a $25 hooker.

  • Stefanos Mantyla

I can say I called the 5/5 for Nina! Go me!

I guess I was a bit off on the other two, though, huh? Though it seemed to have to do in part with how it looked in person. Hudson I thought would get a 4.5 for something telegenic, but I can see why it might be less impressive in person. And I never got to see Klum sitting down. I predicted a 3 just for being that much better than the Wookie dress, which got 2.

  • Contralto

is that a JUMPSUIT? Do not love.

  • Trisha26

I couldn’t stop saying OMG each time the camera showed Heidi. I mean, seriously, grow up. I barely noticed the hein jumpsuit on Jennifer Hudson, I was blinded by that ridiculous coral lipstick. Between that & the teal fabric it was Miami Vice in more ways than one. Nina looked fabulous as always – would expect nothing less.

  • afabulous50

Lemme tell ya something – If I could look even half as good as Heidi wearing that dress I’d be happy.  I know its a little “much” but come ON.  Some praise has to go to the woman – 2 kids (or 3?) and she can still pull that off?  Kudos to you Fraulein.

    • schadenfreudelicious

      i believe she has four!

    • No, sorry, but she still needs a bra, I ‘ll agree that she looks great, but at some point, you need to commit to foundation garments, it would improve her look (not so desperate)…nothing wrong w/ being a lady of a certain age, but you need to look presentable, & this just looks like she’s trying to dress too young…

      • bitchybitchybitchy

I understand that Heidi’s got a great body, but she could pick one body area to highlight-do the plunging back, but a more covered bodice, or do the covered top and a slit….just not all in the same dress.

  • Aw Heidi, sigh.  Really?  Ridiculous amount of boob cleavage for her age.

  • Rachel Sawyer

Jennifer looked like she borrowed her clothes from Blanche Deveraux. Plus it was way too casual when standing next to Nina and Heidi. The less said about Heidi, the better.

  • YoungSally

Wait — wasn’t there a similar post right after the shows….I remember hating JHud’s teal pantsuit.

  • Nina was the only one who passed- Miss Hudson w/ her cameltoe violently green jumpsuit, & Heidi, w/’the burlap slutsack, did not impress…

  • batshitmomma

I know we’re supposed to be judging the clothing, but I was waiting for TLo to say something about how truly horrendous JH was as a judge. Why, oh, why do they pick a random celebrity for Fashion Week???

    • BrooklynBomber

She really didn’t have much to offer, did she? At least not as far as they showed us. It must be especially difficult to come in as the judge on the final episode because they haven’t seen the designers’ work all along.

    • khh1138

I felt badly for her.  She had nothing to say, but at least she was trying to be so nice and supportive.  She didn’t make an ass of herself (she didn’t project a bad attitude or anything, cough cough MONDO) – she just didn’t seem to belong there at all.

  • Judy_J

Of course Heidi wore the dress in such a way as to expose the maximum amount of flesh allowed on basic cable TV. Taste issues, Heidi?

    • khh1138

Yes, it’s not all the dress’s fault.  I keep comparing her to the original model and it’s hard to see exactly why it looks *so* much trashier on Heidi. It’s a bunch of adjustments she made on purpose.  Oh, Heidi.  The more gaped neckline with unsupported cleavage, the extremely bare sides, and the uncomfortable bracelet (that I might like with a different outfit)…it all adds up to Jabba’s Palace.

  • GorgeousThings

I bet you dollars to doughnuts that Nina has a staff meeting during PR filming devoted to “What can Nina wear that will win the JtJ post on TLo?” And I bet Joanna Coles pops in toward the end to give a thumbs-up/thumbs-down.

Heidi, OTOH, takes iPhone pics of potential outfits and puts them on Whichever picture gets the most hits wins for the week.

  • UptownNippy

I would think La Nina would know how to pose more attractively on the runway

I remember the day I realized that I shouldn’t wear backless dresses any more, Heidi has to
    realize it is her time.

She/we can still look pretty without revealing all of our older skin.

  • Bethany Fairbrother

With Heidi’s I was waiting a “malfunction”, especially when she was seated.  Her boobs looked horrible and she was giving us muffin top from the back.  Nina was great.  Jennifer Hudson needs to dress her body.  That outfit was a great color, but not her color but more importantly, not her silouette

  • turtleemily

Heidi’s dress is somehow both trashy and mother-of-the-bride-y. I almost feel like it could be salvaged with a less severe plunge – the neckline and side cutouts are doing awkward things to her torso.

  • J. Preposterice

I inadvertently yelled “PUT IT AWAY” at Heidi when I saw her.

  • I hate to say it, because she IS genetically gifted, but every time I saw Heidi, I desperately wished the girls had a tad bit more support. Yes, Heidi, I know you still have it, but EVERYONE can use a little support now and then.

  • Linderella

Is it a rule that every guest judge must wear Michael Kors?!

    • Lisa_Cop

Yes, unless the guest is a designer.

  • formerlyAnon

Had more of her been covered, that could have been a sexy and elegantly draped dress. But then, Ms. Klum wouldn’t have worn it, would she? Nonetheless, I may be grading her on a curve but I’d have popped for a 3/5, at least.

There’s an unflattering interaction going on between Ms. Hudson’s slacks & jacket in the hip & groin region. Jackets can create a line, can camouflage and can generally do better than simply framing the area of questionable fit.  Hated the shoes. The score was fair.

Nina’s was of course great, but maybe a little pedestrian, standing? I might have slipped her to 4.5 or 4.7.

    • Grading on a curve, heheh.

  • What? I thought J. Hud looked fab!

  • Alice Temperley was so incredibly gorgeous.  She took my breath away in that blue maxi.  But Jennifer Hudson is so strong; I mean, the girl’s seen some shit and she’s another one (like Kelly Osbourne) who took control of herself and became who she wanted to, physically.  I hate that her outfit reminds me of a Chadwick’s catalog though.

  • Heidi, two words, Matronly boobs.

    • Tamara Hogan

Yeah, the girls could have used some support.

  • AutumnInNY

For Pete’s sake Heidi, give it a rest already. Sluty, sluty, sluty as MK would say.

  • You forgot to include Michael Kors. Why is his shitty yawnfest of black on black not up for criticism? His ensembles always scream Banker on the Make.

  • nannypoo

So apparently Heidi has sparkly gold sheets on her bed. I can tell because she wrapped one around herself for this show. I like Jennifer Hudson as a performer and as a person, but damn she is a crappy judge.

  • Kris Zwack

Whatever. I like whatever JHud has going on the best. Nina’s dress? The proportions are sort of interesting on the runway photo, but I don’t love it. On her? It loses all interest. (Not her fault. It’s just not a great dress.)

  • Rebecca Jay

When someone I can’t stand is wearing something garishly ugly, it just makes my day.  Thanks, Jennifer!

Hair is cute, though.  Shoes are hiddy beyond words.

  • Lisa_Cop

Actually, I give Joanna Coles some credit for Dmitry’s win. Joanna LOVED Dmitry’s collection; and from her mouth to La Nina’s ears.

    • l_c_ann

Possibly not.  Joanna’s move to Cosmopolitan as Editor-in-Chief means Nina knows she no longer will answer to Ms.Coles.  (Coles is taking some of her Marie Claire staff with her, but Garcia’s name hasn’t appeared on that list as covered by a number of google news articles.)

  • a_liking

I actually really love the full body turquoise and gold thing Jennifer’s got going on.

  • jjdg1007

I actually liked what Heidi was wearing (based on the Vauthier runway version); the way she wore it was what made it look desperate.
Nina’s was not fashion editor-y. But nevertheless, chic.
J.Hud’s blazer is divine. I wish she paired it with other pieces, instead of being monotonous.

  • Bwin51

I thought Heidi looked skanky. High class ho.

    • MoHub

Heidi needed to be featured on Fashion Police in the “Starlet or Streetwalker” segment.

  • jhud’s pants have, how you say… insane crotch, no??  like she got so moist when she sat down that it stuck when standing.

on to other news.  since there was no judging the judges last week, i’ll ask here: did anyone else notice the hand jewelry that nina wore in finale 1?  someone else was wearing the same type of thing that same week in a post, don’t remember who right now.  it was like a bracelet that went around the palm of the hand, but not the thumb, possibly attached to a ring.  i’m curious.  anyone?

  • I kept repeating over and over again, ‘what the hell is she wearing?’ until my children told me to shut up.

  • That lipstick is not doing J. Hud any favors.

  • I guess gone are the days of the finale when Heidi showed up in jeans. As the way it should be. I actually liked her dress, but she should have had some of those stick on cups or something to lift her boobs. She’s had 3 kids- and though the rest of her looks amazing, her boobs can’t help but be less than perky now.

       Four kids.

What’s with Jennifer’s crotch? What’s up (or down, in this case) with Heidi’s boobs? o.k. – Nina is the winner, but I just wish once, just once, she would put her hair up or something. Wouldn’t it have looked regal and elegant in a low bun with this dress? You ain’t 16 anymore, Nina sweetie!

Yes, why, oh, why not a fashion designer e.g. Alice Temperley, as a judge for the final?!

Heidi Klum walks the runway in pre-open heart surgery attire…

Heidis boobs looked like so odd, so low and ewwww….like they started at her elbow..try it, put your elbow at your side, is that where boobs are supposed to be?

Best dressed the entire season, even though not a judge, was Mr. Gunn.  Some amazing jacket, tie, and shirt combos.  Really great stuff.  Heidi seemed to be going for a Barbara Eden vibe.  That green jumpsuit on Jennifer looks ghastly.

  • My husband thought Heidi looked atrocious and desperate (and he’s a boob man!), and then he wanted to know if you guys would be commenting on this travesty.

I know that Nina’s dress has a lot of embellishment, but I would have loved to see a simple, thick bangle or something. And sorry, Michael Kors, but that shade of aqua always reads “playing bridge in Boca” to me. I also hate head-to-toe same color. Bleh.

I think Jennifer Hudson is beautiful, pre- and post-weight loss, and I’m glad she’s so happy about it, but every time I see her now, she looks stuffed and cinched into “thin-person clothes” that don’t suit her, are a size too small, and look just plain uncomfortable.  This is a step up in that at least she looks like she can breath in it, but just because she’s smaller now doesn’t mean tapered, high-waisted (yes, I know it’s a jumpsuit but that’s the effect) pants are flattering.

I agree with it all. I do love the color of JHud’s outfit, and I do love the top half, but the bottom half has to go. It looks all weird around her crotch.

I thought Jennifer’s outfit fit her beautifully, and I liked the color on her – but it was also very retro 80s’ with her orangey lip color,
the gold belt, and the jumpsuit. Alittle bit dated.
Heidi’s was an overwhelming Flash Gordon style gold sparkle blanket with shoulders and a knot. Really way toooo much Heidi.
This was the first time I felt a little bad for her.  Nina’s for the win.
