Top Photo – close your legs, girl. You look so great. don’t distract me.

    • HomeOfficeGirl

I don’t know if I love the dress and I do not love the shoes – but her make up and hair are grogeous.  She’s selling it.

    • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

Fondly known as the “paint splatter” dress.  Glad she opted for the even hem.  Oddly, I like the shoes although I imagine most everyone here will think they are distracting.

      • e jerry powell

The shoes are a little too precious, to my eyes.

      • miagain

Look again… I don’t think that hem is even.  And I like the shoes, too.  But then again I’m a sucker for bows on shoes… it’s the 7 year old in me!!

        • http://www.ellenciompi.com/ NurseEllen

In looking at the first full-length photo, I thought her left hand was pulling the skirt a bit so that the hem looked a little uneven in consequence, but the second full-length photo shows clearly that you are right, the hem is a little scalloped.  It sure doesn’t seem as thigh-exposing and wildly irregular as the hem on the model’s dress, though.

I’ve been inducted into the T-Lo school of “she needs a nice cocktail ring,” so — yeah — I think she needs a showy cocktail ring.  Also, the shoes are terrible.  Give me a nice sandal in a metallic and I’m happy.  I actually enjoy the dress and think her hair and make-up look pretty great.

    • http://profiles.google.com/gillianholroyd gillian holroyd

You can see that it’s a gorgeous, lustrous fabric. I just wish the print was better thought out than “random splotches”.

    • ThaliaMenninger

Dress is very cute. Makeup is nice. Clutch is fine by me. Hate the hair. And what the hell is on the back of those shoes? One bow wasn’t enough?

    • Imasewsure

She looks like a broken doll. Dress is pretty but she always looks too underfed for my taste

      • MilaXX

I think she has lost weight in the past year since she films sex scenes for her show.  The weight looks fine on tv, but in pictures she looks noticeably thin.

      • http://twitter.com/monapily monapily

My god, THANK YOU. She looks super unhealthy and malnourished. The length of her head appears longer than her shoulders, and no amount of flouncy A-line skirt can balance that out. There’s a lot of tension in her neck, so you can tell she’s doing the “big girl face pose,” which is when one lengthens one’s neck and juts out the chin to create the illusion of a more prominent jawline. She’d be a beautiful woman if she wasn’t determined to look like she’s at death’s door.

    • PastryGoddess

Why is everyone posing like that!?!

      • alyce1213

This could be the successor to the gotta pee pose.

    • MarissaLG

She’s standing really awkwardly, and I feel like the shoes have one too many bows, but the dress is really pretty and interesting.

      • http://twitter.com/k8twolf Katie Wolf

She is beautiful but I like the length better on the model.

    • Sobaika

Hem length would be my only adjustment.

    • Tatiana Luján

Why on earth did she paint her eyebrows like that? Did she think nobody would notice?

      • MilaXX

Bad makeup job and/or lighting. Most celebs fill in their brows, it just takes a deft hand to make it look natural.

        • Tatiana Luján

This is far from filling in, she has more amount of bare skin covered with paint that the amount of skin covered with hair.

    • Lisa Kramp

      Pretty dress, really distracting shoes.

    • Annabelle Archer

She gives the vibe of someone who has just stopped having fun with it all.

    • Trisha26

First reaction was “pretty!” But the shoes are too busy for the print. The print looks like bird doo. I don’t like the high-low hemline. Still, she’s covered up & looks pretty.

    • http://kingderella.tumblr.com/ kingderella

cute dress, but those shoes are ridiculous. dont love the hair.

    • MilaXX

Very pretty, but the shoe borders on twee and I hate how she’s posing. It’s the same broken leg look Elizabeth Moss did earlier this week.

    • Qitkat

Her awkward posing really threw off her looking more sophisticated. I actually like the dress hem on the model better. I’ve discovered I rarely look at shoes, probably because I’m doomed to flats and the slightly orthopedic look, also known as *old lady shoes*, lol, so I had to scroll back up. Some one is bow happy.

    • http://twitter.com/MajorBedhead MajorBedhead

Something about the top of the bust is making me twitchy. And yeah, bird poop fabric. Not a good look.

    • PrunellaV

On the runway it was unusual and intriguing. Off the runway it looks like someone ran into her with their milkshake.

    • Zippypie

The dress looks like a Clorox disaster victim.

      • l_c_ann

Don’t ask me why the Chlorox disaster was first thing I though of, too.
Then I saw the hem and a major mistake I made in the third thing I sewed came back to mind.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/55YPC3HCOPINXJVRKIQUO4VSFI Gordons

      Shoes are too matchy.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

As much as I like her, this just isn’t working for me…..

    • Tricia Landis

The dress seems too much for her, I’m just now grasping how tiny she is.

    • maggiehuck

Will someone PLEASE teach this beautiful woman how to pose? She looks like she’s gonna give birth and step & repeat.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

Wrong shoes, and the clutch is too matchy, but the dress is adorable! The hair is a bit running-errands-ish, though. I love Kery Washington, and if it were anyone else I might not be so generous, but I think she looks good.

    • http://eclectictsunami.blogspot.com/ Cassie

Pretty, but is she allergic to jewelry? Showier earrings? A bangle? SOMETHING.

I have a newfound fondness for her because she appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher a couple of weeks ago and acquitted herself quite well – she was well-spoken and well-informed and that is rarely the case with celebrities called to speak about politics.

    • quiltrx

Cute dress…but you have to see the skirt, because in a bodice-only thumbnail it looks like “honey? A bird shit on your dress.”

    • annrr

Yikes, she needs to go to posing boot camp and have Miss Jay show her how its done. Seriously she is making me unfomfortable.

    • decormaven

Don’t know what the technique is called, but she’s got a different type of nail treatment, with color on the base of the nail bed. It makes no impact when she’s got her hands against the dark background of the dress. Jewelry, some jewelry- please! This look just needs some minor modifications to get it into WERQ territory.

    • CPK1

she is gorgeous here (and everywhere else, and really smart). Love absolutely everything except the shoes.

    • Knightley

Bless her, she really should have chosen a more flattering hair style.  The dress is nice, and the shoes are ok, but I’m distracted by the horrible hair and makeup job.  Fire your hair and makeup people and start over.

      • Jennifer Coleman

Maybe she’s trying to recreate the model’s equally jacked-up hairdo.

    • miagain

What a pretty dress…. such a shame someone spilled white paint all over her!

    • guest2visits

This is gorgoeus dress – she looks wonderful in it. Might be even better with hair up completely; but it’s still pretty as is.
I love the shoes with the dress, although I think one floppy bow per shoe would have been enough.

    • afabulous50

      I. Just. Can’t.

    • jabes

Again and again, I find myself wishing that she would wear a darker or brighter lipstick.  It’s the first thing I notice with her and I just can’t get past it, for some reason.

    • ZnSD

Kerry, darling, I adore you. But please, for me? Eat something.

      • EEKstl

I know.  I am not one to typically comment on this stuff (after all, it is so ubiquitous in Hollywood these days), but I caught her on Real Time with Bill Maher a few weeks ago and was struck at 1. How fiercely intellegent she is and 2. How scary skinny she was.

    • Rachel Council

Love the dress and the clutch, hate the hair and the shoes.

    • LilyPad

I think everything here looks great except the shoes. The bows are just weird.

    • http://www.thechipsterdiaries.blogspot.com/ Jess the Chipster

Shoes are a bit too much, but I love the dress.

    • teensmom99

The model’s shoes are a better choice for this dress.

    • mmc2315

      I don’t love, I don’t hate.  It’s….okay.  The wonky hem is distracting.

    • EEKstl

Would have been a knockout if:

      1. The hem wasn’t uneven;
      2. She chose a classic red or hot pink pump vs. those fussy things;
      3. Did something better with her hair (a chignon comes to mind).

      Love the clutch!

    • AnneElliot

She’s so pretty, why is she wearing that childish hairdo?  It’s making her look twee.

And that uneven hem on the model makes my eyes twitch.

    • Bwin51

      Love the print.
