IN or OUT: Selma Blair in Skaist-Taylor

Posted on October 09, 2012

Oh, good. Something simple.

Selma Blair attends the Third Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in a Skaist-Taylor teal jumper paired with Marc Jacobs sandals.

Skaist-Taylor Resort 2013 Collection

There’s no sense in talking this one out. You either love it or you hate it. We kinda love it; first, for not wearing the dead muppets, and second, because there’s something kind of appealing about the simplicity of the look. The sleeves are really what take it away from being boring and the shoes make a nice bit of punctuation for the look.

So let’s hear it, judgmental kittens:

Vote Now!

IN! I LOVE it! She’s like Chloe Sevigny’s nerdier sister!

OUT! Oh, please. She looks like a go-go dancer at a religious cult compound.

Many kittens agreed that there were problems with Queen Latifah’s Ethel Merman dress, but their love for The Queen won out, and she was voted IN.

    i kinda like it.  IN

  • I like it! That first picture makes it look like she’s got a ninja turtle backpack though.

  • Kristalbailey

IN! So glad she tamed it down from that model’s look.

  • Jill_3

If you can’t pee in it, it’s not worth wearing.

    • alyce1213

      I think it’s 2-pc.

      • Jill_3

Really??? Well I still don’t like the romper illusion. That’s the only part of this that’s putting me off.

      • 3boysful

I’ll give it an IN, so long as it’s 2 pieces.  Otherwise, I’m with Jill_3–if you have to totally undress to pee, it ain’t worth it.

    • claudemtl777

I think peeing in it would wreck the look. Why not remove it before peeing?

      • LesYeuxHiboux

Space suits are the height of chic, darling.

      • PeaceBang

What’s with all the obsession with peeing on here lately? The Bitter Kittens are obsessed with incontinence.

  • Sam Corbett

Simple, chic, with some visual interest. IN

    • Lizzyisi

Yes. “Simple, chic, with some visual interest. IN”.  LOVE the shoes. I still wish it were pants or a skirt, instead of shorts.

    • Agree. Seems very her.

  • formerlyAnon

Out. There’s a reason why dress shorts never catch on. The proportions just look off.

  • The muppet shoulders were undoubtedly weird but they supplied all the edginess. What’s left isn’t working for me.  Not loving the shorts here.  Out.

  • RL McGruder

    Love it.  Sexy schoolmarm.

  • mshesterp

I think she looks just adorable–it works for her aesthetic.  IN.

  • IN!

It’s a cute little look, and the shoes are perfect.

  • Anathema_Device

Out. I’m totally over shorts on the red carpet. This would be fine for shopping or lunch or whatever, but OVER short on the red carpet.

    • tereliz

Technically, this was at a polo match. So no one knew how to dress for this event, apparently.

  • uprightcitizen

It’s adorable, and really shows off her great legs. The color, combined with her hair color and cut, does give the whole thing a bit of a Chairman Mao, communist China in the 1960s look, but it’s still and IN.

  • HomeOfficeGirl

In!  She looks really sharp.  LOVE the shoes.  This look is not for everyone – I don’t want to see many others going for this because it could fail so easily, but Selma is making it work.

  • sweetestsith

I love it, she looks crisp and fun, great shoes for this. IN!

Earrings or a blingy ring or something would have been nice though.

  • teensmom99

OUT but not for the reasons you think. I think the blouse’s proportions are wrong for the shorts.  It’s just strange and makes her look stubby.  I do love the tailoring of the top and also her sandals paired with this but it just doesn’t work. Sorry, Selma.

  • j_anson

Oh please is right. Out. I’m not against shorts in principle, but shorts for dressy occasions just always look weird. The proportions are always bizarre. In this case, top-heavy.

    • alyce1213

But it’s not a dressy occasion.  It’s a mid-afternoon polo match and she’s dressed quite appropriately, imo.

      • j_anson

It’s not inappropriate. It’s unattractive (poorly proportioned, top-heavy). I mean, she’s a pretty person, she’s never going to look that bad. But it’s not doing her any favors, other than the nice color.

        • alyce1213

          • j_anson

Well… I mean… yes? Isn’t fashion pretty much always a matter of opinion? I’m not suggesting there should be a LAW against her wearing it.

          • alyce1213

Of course.  I just thought it wasn’t inappropriate in the context of the event, which was a sporty thing.  I’m not nuts about shorts, rompers, jumpsuits, etc., but I kind of like this on her, not sure why.

          • j_anson

I agree it’s not inappropriate! Just unattractive. In my opinion. 🙂

  • fnarf

Super in. Selma Blair can do no wrong, and this is adorable. Hott. My lord, she still looks like she’s 18, and she’s 40. Gorgeous outfit.

    • dress_up_doll

      She’s FORTY?!? Dayum! Love it.

  • SewingSiren

I love the way it’s styled in the look book. Without the fur piece , boots, and the hat , it falls flat.

  • In. It’s quite funky and I love the shoes.

  • It’s very interesting, and Selma is quirky enough to make it work. IN. Shoes are killa!

  • IN

  • Jangle57

As I started scrolling down, I was wondering  if someone sent her to a nunnery but then I hit the shorts and realized obviously not.  I think it’s cute.  IN

  • Out. It’s like Casual Friday in Sunday School…

  • L.

IN.  The sandals prevent it from looking like Soviet pajamas.

  • alyce1213

    IN!  Chloe Sevigny’s SANE sister.
Is this a jumper?  I don’t think so.  It looks like separates to me; see especially the last photo where the top does not appear to be sewn to the shorts, but covers the top of the pocket.I like it, even though I’m not generally a fan of shorts. I like the restraint, the tailoring, and the color, which on my monitor appears to be a deep French blue, not teal (which normally has more green in it), but who knows?  It’s also quite appropriate for the occasion.
    She’s a stunning woman.

    •  That sort of range of colours seems to be a bitch to photograph accurately though. I’ve seen a bunch of pictures of dresses that I know to be blue which photograph green & vice versa.

  • msftmargarita

    In- I like the color.

  • MzzPants

    IN.  Nothing wrong here.

  • Daniele Paulding

  • In. There’s something very sexy sci-fi officer uniform about it that I love. It needs something to break up the wall of blue, though…

  • ojosazules

  • leftcoastpickle

In, I don’t know why I like it, but I do.

  • OH GOD I AM CONFLICTED. I like the formal shorts, unusually, and I love those shoes and I LOVE that it isn’t Chloe Sevigny wearing some god awful clumpy boot-clog hoofs. But the blouse isn’t nice and I love Selma more than this. But this really is a “I lost the baby weight, cast me please” outfit. I come down on the side of… I don’t know.

    • MilaXX

Isn’t she on Charlie Sheen’s new show?

      •  Is she? I don’t have a TV & I am not in the US so I miss these things. Last time I saw pictures of her she was enormously pregnant.

        • MilaXX

I don’t watch the show, but I’m pretty sure she is. You could c heck IMBD to be sure.

        • MilaXX

oh and the kid is a year old and she has since broken up with the baby daddy.

          •  Everything I know about popular culture I learn on this site!

  • Jeremiah Capacillo

The dress is cool and easy chic, and nice shoes (although I don’t appreciate her toes splayed all over). Still an IN though.

  • charlotte

    In. Methinks she looks pretty.

  • Laylalola

OUT. Too fancy for a shorts-jumper (and with long sleeves? Just … weird).

    • kimmeister

I *might* be able to live with the long sleeves if it weren’t for the high collar.  The top and bottom halves of this jumper are just too incongruous for me.

      • luciaphile

Out. For the reasons you stated….

  • jw_ny

    IN…it’s cute

  • Wendi126

Love it. Love her. Total in

  • The point is, she’s got the body to rock this. Looking good, Selma! IN!

  • in

  • I love that shade of blue, the shape of the sleeves, the collar and the shoes. So, IN.

  • IN. Actually cute.

  • PeggyOC

In.  It’s unusual, but not wackadoodle.  I don’t particularly like the waistband on the shirt, though.

  • Not sure what is going on with the hair, but I love the outfit. Her legs look awesome in it.

  • jorinde

    in in in. looove it.

  • SO IN! She looks Fan-tas-tic!

  • Vanja

Out. I like the colour on the model, the harsh light kind of washes out the colour on Selma’s. The top is nice, but I hate shorts with that mid-thigh or knee length. I think it’s got something to do with proportions, they always look awkward, even on models.

  • SO IN!

  • No. Just no.

Actually, not just no. Long sleeves with shorts just looks silly, especially when the blouse looks super secretarial. I hate dress shorts and I really hate shorts with high heels. Shorts are a casual thing. They look ridiculous on the red carpet. And this entire outfit is just boring. Boring color, boring style, boring, boring, boring.

    Big, fat OUT from me.

  • I don’t hate it. Wish she had worn some cute earrings or something. Love the shoes. IN.

  • tereliz

IN! She’s making it work. I love Selma unabashedly, and this might be the chicest romper I’ve ever seen. Plus her legs look great and I love those sandals.

  • She’s at a polo match.  It’s perfect.  In.
And oh, how I wish I could pull of that outfit for our annual charity polo match.  Alas, my short stumpy legs won’t allow it.  *sigh*

    • formerlyAnon

What IS correct attire for spectators at a polo match? In photos I see everything from garden party to dressage queen casual (that is, dressed as if to do actual barn work but in the most expensive brands).

I assume if it’s a charity do it runs to the dressy end?

  • MilaXX

IN! I love the look. Minor quibble; I think red pumps would have been better if she didn’t want to wear booties like the model.

  • minnye

I think it’s kewl & love the shoes, so IN. I’ve never gotten her as a ‘fashion plate’ though.

  • Lola67

In. An interesting piece of jewelry would have helped.

  • Erin Herndobler

     I’m going to say IN.

  • StellaZafella

Kinda’ sexy…kinda’ 40’s dancer in rehearsal, without being too literal or a costume. In some way it seems the closed neck and long sleeves with the shorty shorts are all what, together, make it cute sexy, not vulgar sexy. IN

  • Pants_are_a_must

No. Dress shorts are always a no. And the top is really sister-wife. The color is crazy-flattering on her, but really now. OUT.

  • In – love!

  • Introspective

Oh so IN. Im a sucker for shorts, and this looks understated but still fab. Selma has always had a good eye for fashion.

  • I don’t HATE it and I quite like it? Causing confusing thoughts but I’m gonna go IN just because I would wanna wear something like this

  • Soviet Flight Attendant.

  • Sunshine16

    Love it, major IN!

  • susan6

Formal shorts and a sister-wife shirt.  Bad on their own, horrible together.  OUT.

  • Elizabeth Silverstein

    LOVE IT. IN.

  • ChelseaNH

Sorry, OUT.  I want it to be separates so I can get rid of the shorts (or pair them with something else) — it’s a vast ocean of blue fabric otherwise.

    • alyce1213

      It is separates.

      • ChelseaNH

The caption says “jumper” — which to me, says one piece.

        • alyce1213

I think the caption is wrong.  Look closely.  The top is not attached to the shorts.  In the last picture, especially, you can see how it lays over the pocket.  The top is very well fitted and  there are no gaps or space between the top and bottom.

It wouldn’t make any sense for this to be one piece, none at all — not with that neckline and those sleeves.

          • tereliz

Since when has anything to do with rompers made sense? 😉

          • alyce1213

            True dat.
Funny how T-Lo’s first line “Something simple” turned out to be anything but.  Quite controversial, judging from the comments.

  • IN! She looks really cuteI love the top, but remain unsold on the shorts (especially with the top and in October). However, I am just itching to run up to her, grab the hem at either hip, and yank that blouse down for her to fix the armpit wrinkles.

  • Allyson Wells

I think it needs more jewelry… earrings maybe?  Still, it’s an IN.

  • MissMariRose

    Love it. IN

  • LuxuryLime

IN. Love the shoes. Surprisingly don’t hate the romper.

  • librarygrrl64

Meta e meta, or, as my Neapolitan grandfather pronounced it, “metz e metz.” Rompers on adults are pretty much an automatic OUT for me. But Selma Blair is often an automatic IN for me. There has always been something about her that I’m liked, plus she is such a strikingly pretty woman. I can’t decide.

  • Judy_S

In. But who calls this a jumper?

  • Imasewsure

Love the whole look. Cute but not twee. IN

  • I really like it. IN.

I just wish she had worn a fun ring.

  • rkdgal

This is not the kind of thing I would normally like, but I like it on her!  IN.

  • frannyprof

  • AuntJentie

  • Out. It’s a bit twee for her age.

  • Cathy S

    I think it’s cute. In!

  • Love. In.

  • Trisha26

    Out. Hate the “shorts look.”

  • TheLaurenJean

    Love it! In, In IN!

  • In. Love the color and the fabric. SO glad she opted out on the bizarre fur shoulders. And her shoes are perfect! They’re unique-looking without being outlandish.
Again though, for the millionth time, why no accessories? The stretch of pure blue is screaming out for neck jewelry. This lack of jewelry is becoming an epidemic. I’m disturbed.

  • Love it!

  • call_me_schmeg

    IN. the end.

  • i’m gonna vote in but i have to ask, if anyone here has worn a romper past the age of 5, what does one do when one needs to use the bathroom?  i mean…don’t you have to pretty much strip entirely in order to pee?  doesn’t that seem like poor planning?

    • formerlyAnon

“don’t you have to pretty much strip entirely in order to pee?  doesn’t that seem like poor planning?”
Yes, and yes. But it’s easier than with a long pants jumpsuit, because it’s less likely to puddle on the floor.

But at the dressing-to-be-photographed level, I imagine practicality takes a back seat to effect. Even mere mortals wearing department store spanx can regret it when wrestling with ones attire in the toilet stall.

    • StellaZafella

I think, though they’ve called it a jumper(?) – it looks like separates…the pocket seems to be going up under the hem of the top on my monitor…in addition, I can’t imagine any other way in or out of it. A zipper wouldn’t work with the collared neck.

      • tereliz

I think it’s a one-piece with a back zip that may have a split in the collar to accomodate the zipper. OMG, wouldn’t buttons have been cute down the back, though? (Although then she would have to have a diaper on under there because there would be no hope of peeing. At least not without help.)

        • alyce1213

Look closely at the last picture and see how the top comes over the pocket — the top is not attached to the shorts.  Pretty sure it’s separates.

          • tereliz

Hmm, I looked pretty closely before after the first comment about it being separates, and I think it’s pretty obviously a one piece.

In the section where you see an overlap, I see a seam with a little reinforced stitching. There’s no overlap, and the only way separates could work and still keep that smooth silhouette is to tuck in the top, but there’s no sign of “tuckage”, either. Add that to the way it lays so flat down the front, and then tugs at her armpits and it looks like one piece to me.

I never thought I would say someone looks chic as hell in a romper, but Selma does it!

  • jhedman

This outfit is schizophrenic: completely covered up top paired with 99% leg exposure.  The model look mitigated this problem somewhat by wearing booties (not to mention the muppet shoulder pads), but since Selma went with strappy sandals (very nice ones, too), she made the problem worse.  Modify the sleeves and/or lower the neckline and this could be awesome.

Plus, the hair is not helping.

  • Rand Ortega

    Cute. Simple. IN.

  • I like it. Simple, chic and flattering.

  • juliamargaret

  • PinkLemon

    fashionmoment. IN.

  • In. It’s cute in its simplicity.

  • Sara__B

IN. (But it has NOTHING to do with Chloe Sevigny!)

  • gabbilevy

Love it. Great color, chic look.

  • Larkin21

IN! I think she looks great. I kinda want a belt or something to break up the column of blue but otherwise, just perfect. I’m in love with those shoes!

  • samo_samo

IN…I like the look on her.

  • elemspbee

    so INNNNNN! love it.

  • Karen Dickerson

    Simple and adorable! IN.

  • Good fucking god she looks INCREDIBLE.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

Out.  Which is a shame, because with the right styling this could have been a WERQ.  Get rid of the Miss Crabtree hair, open up the collar, push up the sleeves and add some jewelry.  I like the shoes. AND…my champagne cravings are back.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

Chorus girl in Springtime for Hitler. OUT.

The chorus girl look is really on the rise with all these short-shorts and heels combos.

  • IN!

  • Jessi03

    In!  Cute!

  • IN. not loving the shoes, though.

  • IN!

  • sweet_potato

No, just no.  It’s a clumsy outfit.  Even the model version looks bad.  I’m sorry,it’s all sad proletariat clown. OUT!!

  • msdamselfly

  • Judy_J

  • IN for the shoes alone. I need those to be in my closet now.

  • In. It’s a jumpsuit with sort of a Chairman Mao flavor, but it’s chic and fits her well.

  • voter1

The top looks like it has stains on it – in both pictures.

  • OUT … It looks like a uniform or a work outfit in a totalitarian society where pretty women are forced to show of their legs.

  • Bozhi

In.  She looks great, but why is everyone wearing shorts in October?

  • Judih1

IN – BUT it does look like a go go dancers outfit at a religious cult! But Still an IN

  • OUT. Laura Ingalls up top, Billie Jean King on the bottom. What the hell kind of freaky resorts do Skaist & Taylor go for fun?

  • KathKo

    Nothing to say, indeed. In.

  • harleydear

I’m going to say IN. It’s basically perfect for attending a polo match (although Julia Roberts’s brown and white spotted dress with the sassy hat from Pretty Woman will always be the standard bearer for polo chic. Obviously.)

  • Caveat In: If she had worn a long necklace, something pewter-y like the shoes, this would be a werq for me.

  • Lilithcat

I love it, but.  It doesn’t fit her properly; look how it’s pulling across the upper body.  And the shoes are too skimpy for the look.  That said, I’m glad she didn’t add any jewelry.  The key to that design is its simplicity.

Of course, on the minus side is my usual complaint about jumpsuits and rompers:  how the hell do you go to the toilet in that?

  • Kate4queen

    In-sort of…

  • poggi

She (or someone she paid) styled this very simply and well.  I really like the shoes with it.  It’s weird, but she got all the details right, IN.

  • IAmJ

I love this look. Nice and chic. The shoes are gorgeous too. IN, of course.

  • In! I like the color too (not as bright as the model’s version). Chic!

  • luluransom

Love. Chic and suits her to a T. IN!

  • Tracy_Flick

My mother-in-law just sent me a box of my husband’s kid clothes from the 70s. Apparently she also sent some to Selma here. Boring, polyester-looking, and ill-fitted. At least the ones I got in the mail had Lowly Worm on them. OUT.

    • Qitkat

Ha! my kids and I always loved Lowly Worm.

    • formerlyAnon

So much love for Lowly Worm!

  • homofascist

In!  Super cute and fun.  A little contrast somewhere in the monochrome middle would have been nice, but I am sure in person it didn’t look so flat…

  • Love it & love Selma Blair in general.  She has great style and knows herself well stylistically.

  • IN. It’s different but still cute, and I really like the shoes, except that they don’t fit her. It would drive me crazy to have my toes hanging off like that.

  • kategs

I don’t know about this one…long sleeves, high collar and then shorts and sandals?  I do however, like the color on her.

  • Jenna621

My first thought was “No.”  And I’m sticking with it.  I’m not a fan of the sleeves or the collar treatment, certainly not together.  OUT.

  • I like it.  In.

  • Louise Bryan

IN! And I love the dead Muppets comment. I was so boringly thinking furry shrug, and how I didn’t like it.

  • In.

  • piecesofconfetti

  • Hetha Innis

Love it. Love the color, the collar, the shoes, everything!

  • butterflysunita

What is a Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic?  Sounds deliciously snooty.
She’s OUT.  This judgmental kitten thinks the outfit is ugly.

  • IN! Love it. Love the color, love the sandals. Tres chic – which we must all agree can be rather hard to pull off in shorts.

  • TSkot

    Sexy Comrade:  IN

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

      Lol, Comrade Snape’s sexy sister!

  • RocknRollmom

In!  Love the color, love it on her.  I would look like….well let’s just not go there.  It would not be pretty.

  • Out. She looks so/so, but I stand on the principle that no one over the age of 3 should wear a jumper.

  • Samantha Irene

    Love it! IN!!!

  • phrenk

I think she’s making it work.  IN.

  • kikisayshi

IN. It suits her. Though I’m not sure comparing her to Chloe Sevigny is ever a compliment. Just sayin’. 😉

  • B_C_J

It’s definitely a different look. It’s making her stand apart and she’s taking a risk which I admire.  However, I think that with that nude lip, more pronounced eye makeup would have made the total picture a bit more edgier. She’s a tad washed out from the neck up.

  • crash1212

OUT. Hate the jumper and the way it hikes up over her boobs, HATE the shoes with their over-exposed toes falling out, and hate her hair. This is one Bitter Kitten filled with hate this afternoon. Perhaps I need a Martini and a nap.

  • IN!!!

  • I like it, but only Selma Blair can wear it.

  • nannypoo

If she’s not going to wear the muppets she needs to do something else to make this boring outfit look interesting. Her fellow comrades-in-arms would at least have brass buttons and a perky little hat.

  • BazoDee

    Teal??? IN

  • margaret meyers

In.  That’s about as good as that look gets.

  • VicksieDo

    Love it. IN!
The color, the simplicity! Goes with her sleek hair so well.

  • altalinda

    Love it!  In.

  • love it!!

  • Lisa Kramp

    In. It’s chic and adorable.

  • Hi!  I’m Selma!  Fly me!

  • lalahartma

    Hey, that’s not bad! In!

  • l_c_ann

The champagne deserves a more elegant look which rompers will never have (not even on Ginger Rogers).

  • I kinda love it actually! IN

  • Anna Tree

I love it unironically. It’s totally a less kooky version of The Sev. The simplicity plus those awesome shoes make this IN

  • Knightley

Eh, her hair and makeup look terrible.  Not too fond of the color either, but what gets me is that somehow it looks like her entire head is abnormally large, which I know isn’t true.  She’s a beautiful person, but not here.

  • YourBaloneyDontGotNoSecondName

What if The Sev has a nerdy sister who is a go-go dancer at a religious cult compound?  Then how would I vote?

  • Emmyllou

    No. Out.

  • In In In, super cute and actually a different idea/look at the same time. Love her styling too.

  • Janet B

Hate the shoes and it doesn’t fit through the bust.

    Bitter, bitter, bitter kitten today.

  • Tatiana Luján

  • CQAussie

I love the shoes. That is all. OUT.

  • guest2visits

    No. The scroll down was disappointing. Thought it was a pretty dress – but no. I think as shorts it’s overworked, or top heavy;
it might have been chic as a pantsuit, I like the color.  I think I hate the shoes.

  • bellafigura1

I love the outfit but it completely breaks down because of the shoes she chose. This is not a strappy sandal, toe-reveal kind of outfit.  It needs the long bare leg and a less bare foot, as shown in the editorial photo. Or, some over the knee socks and a heavier sandal.

  • pookiesmom

    I love this. IN.

  • understateddiva

Nothing the color of a Civil War uniform (Union, clearly) is ever in.  OUT.

  • IN!  So cute, and love the pop of color on the shoe!

  • CarolinLA

  • Lisa Dugan

In.  I want to fix the top a bit since it seems to be sitting strangely but it’s different and she looks great.

    • AnneElliot

I agree, it looks like it’s pulling somehow.  I thought it was just her posture but it’s the same in two different photos.  However, I love the color.  I also agree that some more statement jewelry really would have bumped it up a notch — but I give it a great big IN.

  • out.

  • Joey Melliza

me likey – but she should’ve punched it up a bit with some ear-piece to take it to WERQ-wear!

  • zelavie

    Absolutely IN!

OUT. I hate it. Especially the sleeves.

  • SophieCollier

It’s very cute and childlike, but I don’t particularly like it on her.  I’m thinking a teenager would rock this much better.  But it’s cute enough for an IN.

  • ccm800

    In. I dig it!

  • julnyes

    Adorable – IN

  • in of course

  • PeaceBang

This goes on my irrational like list. IN.

  • It’s working for me. IN.

  • curiouserandcuriousest

Sometimes, it’s all about that first instinctive reaction. I say IN 🙂

IN… selma blair owns it… nough said

  • Feeling it – IN

  • IN!

I kinda wish she had worn a tie. I think that would have been ADORABLE.

IN, though. Those shoes are killa.

  • IN! I like the severity of the look.

  • Rachel Council

I like the shoes but the rest I cannot abide. OUT.

  • Melissa Kramer

    IN for sure

  • aristida_girl

IN, i like the cleanness of the look and the shoes are super cute

  • Coralie Legister

IN. Love the simplicity & the shoes.

  • oohsparkley!

  • I don’t love that collar, but she’s still in for me. It’s a gorgeous color on her.

  • There is so much IN here.

  • OUT! Even if she were tall enough for it (which she’s not) and it actually laid correctly on her (it doesn’t) it would still be awful.  I hate it when grown women dress like children.  I could easily see a four year old wearing this.  Those sleeves are atrocious.  Blech…

  • CatherineRhodes

    OUT. Shoes ruin it.

  • Somewhere, there’s a 30’s musical missing a chorus girl.

  • AnnPopovic

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Love HER, Love the outfit, love the hair, love love love! And it must be her, ’cause I HATE shorts as anything but something you HAVE to wear at the beach but she could probably wear a burkha with a tiara and those backwards-inside-out upside down shoes and STILL pull it off.

  • In. Cute & a bit different.

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

    OUT.  It makes me sad.

  • Love. Simple, quirky, cute sandals.

  • Laura Osborne

A super cute look. Definitely IN.

  • Is there no hem? Is it just cut at the bottom of the short or is that an illusion.
