  • Can a person be both color and pattern blind? UGLY.

    • Little_Olive

Well, Peter Pilotto clearly is. This is not the first fashion shenanigan we’ve seen him put out.

  • nc17

I don’t like the dress, but the hair and make up deserve a WERQ. That’s hard to pull off.

    • Paigealicious

See, I thought the hair and makeup AND the dress were pretty much a fail.

      • HomeOfficeGirl

        And the clutch.

        • Magatha

Also the shoes. The model’s shoes were better.

    • Sobaika

I’m with you on the makeup, but not on the goofy topknot. Tuck the ends of your hair in, girl.

    • maggiemaybe

Loving the hair and makeup too. I wish I could wear that color lipstick…

  • Emily Giovanni

Ooooh, I like it! Sassy. Not a fan of the hair though.

  • eowyn_of_rohan

An acid trip in dress form.

  • ojosazules

The dress confuses me. Love those shoes.

  • kalisa

I thought Holliday Grainger was going to be Hermione in a Christmas dress.

  • random_poster

The lazy bun should never be an option for the RC.  That dress is hideous.  Does someone not like this girl?

  • Jessi03

Methinks Miss Lucrezia Borgia needs a new makeup artist…and stylist.

  • Sobaika

She’s got a great name and great lipstick. That’s it.

  • 3boysful

This dress is simultaneously too small and too long.  It’s cute on the model.

  • decormaven

Not a red carpet look; more of a press junket luncheon outfit. I do like the cuff, though- but not with that look.

  • Too much pattern, too dark a lip (and exfoliate your lips, sweetie) and I don’t like her hair. Nice eyemakeup though.

  • That is an ugly dress.

  • Imasewsure

Dare I say that the model looks amazing in the outfit so I think you need to be a true blank slate to wear this well – and have kick ass shoes – this young thing (and I still don’t know who she is) should go for something much simpler

    • Pam Winters

I think she was one of Stabler’s daughters on Law & Order: SVU. That’s what made me look. I might like the dress; I’m not sure. But I’m notoriously tacky.

  • One seriously hiddy frock, that.  Whew.

    • rumrum

      whew..sound or exit

  • EEKstl

    I think she looks adorable.

    • pattyw

I’m going to hide under your cover, EEKstl, and say that I too think this is adorable.

  • i’m not much of a pattern person but i think it’s all working for her…she’s radiant. Although she should’ve gone for a shorter hemline.

  • Love everything but the hair.

  • JasmineAM

I do my hair like this when I am going to sleep. STEP IT UP MS. GRAINGER. Hermione would be disappointed.

  • Teri Brinson

I like the dress and the messy bun but not the make-up or cuff. The dress print is way over the top, but the shape is simple and fitted and everyone needs a crazy dress now and then. The shoes work with it too, but the make-up is too dramtic and the cuff should be simpler.

  • MilaXX

Cute enough, hate the hair. I think I would have preferred a pointy toe shoe.

  • Call me Bee

Something about the length of the dress or the shape of the shoe is making her look a bit chunky-legged.  And I’m sure she’s just a whisp of a thing…The proportion is off.
Also, while I dislike full-on Oscar gowns at movie preimers, this feels a bit too casual for the event.   Love the hair and make-up, though, and the interesting clutch.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

She looks like a deranged parrot.  Who is she?

  • PinkLemon

the hair looks utterly ridiculous and that bag is just plain weird.

  • Trisha26

She’s very pretty but that messy health-club hair & mismatched print outfit are awful.

  • unbornfawn

Kind of a china doll make-up. I hate the pattern mixing here.

  • kimmeister

    1. The dress is too busy.
    2. I love me some Mary Janes, but for the office, not movie premieres.  Plus, the straps on hers are too high up on the foot.
    3. The clutch looks like it’s in its own museum display case.

  • Anathema_Device

I generally like Pilotto and his prints and print mixing, but the bedazzled pinwheels on the shoulders are too much. Really dislike her hair and make up. Way too heavy on the eyes, lips, AND cheeks. The hair just looks dumb.

  • AnnaleighBelle

Her makeup seems to be wearing her.

I actually like the shoes and the clutch-in-a-lockbox….

  • hair:  demented.
    makeup:  painted doll.
dress:  lose the starfish epaulets and the peter pan collar.  the skirt is FABULOUS.  (fan of prints here)
shoes:  cutie pie.  plays up her curvy calves.

  • Judy_S

No clue who she is but I clicked because Peter Pilotto is always entertaining.  Looking at the pretty gal in the complicated dress I am thinking however he is only entertaining when dressing sticks. I don’t like whatever is happening in the vicinity of her hip with that white strip. Otherwise, entertaining.

  • B_C_J

Beautiful makeup, pretty hair, wretched dress.

  • Love the dress. Hate the hair.

  • tereliz

Wow. That’s the same hairstyle I work to clean the bathtub. And her dress looks like my shower curtain!

  • That purse is stupid.

    • roadtrip1000

       And cheap looking.

  • I love the whole look but maybe it is a bit casual for a major red carpet premiere.

  • aquamarine17

i like the dress, but it’s not for her. some dresses are just made for hair down and flat shoes. i think this is one of them. she needs to start all over again, makeup and all. she has a good blank slate to start with.

  • Thats a dress?

  • SHE looks beautiful, but that dress is a major fail.

  • librarygrrl64

Not my taste, but I think she is rocking it! And I like the hair with this. Just simple enough not to compete with the dress.

  • quiltrx

I can’t decide about the dress.  My first impulse was to kind of like it, then my eye began to twitch as I realized the blues in top and bottom don’t match.  It would definitely be a blouse and skirt I would like with something else, but I’m not sure about the whole thing as a dress.

And I hate that clutch.  Looks like it was in one of those security boxes at Best Buy and they forgot to take it out for her.

  • quiltrx

And I forgot to say how absolutely horrible her hair and makeup look.  If she paid someone to do that, they owe her a refund.

  • alyce1213

    Hall of Fame hideous.

  • Joyce VG

Ooooh pretty girl!  I love the dress.

  • theblondette

Who is this girl? Holliday Grainger? She sounds like a made up person, like a Mary-Sue in a Harry Potter fanfiction.

  • jenno1013

I like the way the untucked topknot references the decorations on the blouse.  And the cuff is nifty.  But please pair the blouse with a white or midnight navy skirt instead of that neither-matches-nor-goes-with abomination.

  • aristida_girl

I’m gonna strike out on my own here and declare that I like this look… I think the dark lippy balances well with the bright, contrasting patterns of the dress, which are indeed unconventional but I feel also are a bit of genius, as they are just enough apart to move well together… I don’t really like the hair but that is about it on the negative for me… not saying this look is for mere mortals but this young starlet is pulling it off….

  • Pattern and color on the red carpet! ….I’m surprised this was hiteboarded.

  • I beg to differ with… well, everyone.  I love this, from that funky hair right down to the fabulous shoes.  LOVE.

  • guest2visits

This dress does not fit her.  No to the clutch, no to the shoes, and no to the cuff.

  • PhillipWilde

The dress is too long, the hair is a joke, and the makeup belongs on a 16th century whore.

  • RzYoung

Wow! I love this, I really do. Not mad about the bag though

  • Lisa Kramp

Love the bangle and the shoes. The makeup is 1980’s silly, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I’m coming to have the same feelings for Peter Pilotto that I have for Stella McCartney. Burn in hell!

  • briecee

What’s the opposite of WERQ?  An ARGH?

  • Alexandra W

The skirt on that dress is aggressively ugly.

  • crash1212

I’d give this a WERQ, if the ends of her topknot were tucked in. I really love this dress and all its funky glory and I like the shoes she chose better than the ones on the model and I love the clutch – just live it on its own – but even more with this outfit. In reading some of the other comments, seems I’m in the minority!

  • littlemac8

No NO NO!!!  Not more of the beastly petter pan collars!

  • Altogether unattractive. I think the bun unfortunately matches the whirligigs on the shoulders. The dress? I’m not sure who this would look good on and for what function.

  • judybrowni

    Mismatched separates from The Limited.

  • michelle shields

I can’t get past the name. Holliday? Really?

  • jw_ny

I could probably be on board with the dress if her hair, makeup, and shoes weren’t so clownish too.
