Dania Ramirez in Rolando Santana

Posted on October 11, 2012

Nothing particularly note-worthy about this look, except it’s all pretty nicely done. Like we said earlier, we’re just a fluffy little ball of love today. What can we say?

Dania Ramirez attends the Tacori‘s City Lights Jewelry Collection Launch Party in West Hollywood, California in a Rolando Santana dress paired with Manolo Blahnik pumps and Tacory jewelry.

Rolando Santana Spring 2012 Collection

Manolo Blahnik Hangisi Jewel Satin Pumps

The neckline’s way too wide, but that’s the only complaint we have. Hair and makeup look good, the jewelry’s tasteful (even if it is tacky how hard she’s working to get that borrowed ring in the shot) and the shoes are a fun way to punctuate the look and add a little color. Attagirl.

    Didn’t Carrie B wear those Manolo’s??  Love.

    • It’s the only thing I can see.  It was in the SATC movie. You know, the ones Big proposed with in that walk-in closet I would kill for.

      • My thoughts exactly when I saw them

      • Sobaika

THAT CLOSET. The only good thing to come from the movies.

      • VicksieDo

Ah yes, that’s why they’re so memorable!  She was married in them and her sweet little white suit.

    • AthenaJ

Yup, I think those are the ones!

    • schadenfreudelicious

yes!, were they not her “something blue?”

    • bellafigura1

That shoe is terrible with that beautiful dress, honestly.  In addition the fact that those are Carrie’s shoes, I must exhort: once again STOP WITH THE RANDOM POP OF COLOR ladies.

      •  Pop of colour is fine but that is the wrong colour and the wrong shoe and the buckle things on them look really dated.

        • 3boysful

I agree.  Pointy toes and that ilk of ornamentation scream 1950s/Liz Taylor at me.

        • chelwi

           Fancy pilgrim shoes.

        • Judih1

      • VicksieDo

These shoes do NOT go with that dress, at all.  Something black, gold, silver, even dark green maybe, but not bright blue.

    • librarygrrl64

Yep! Still loving them. They were one of the few good things about that movie. 😉

  • Monabel

    Oh, dear, no.

  • No.

  • MilaXX

The baby heads kinda ruin it for me.

    • Rachel Sawyer

Me too. They look like rocks with some skin stretched over them.

      • julesj

Too much fake-boob going on (or maybe just young-boob?).

        • iheartbuffy

           fake. fake. FAKE.

  • Lilithcat

I’d like the dress a lot more if it didn’t look as though the girls were going to fall out of it any second.

    • The décolletage is a little too much.  I’m not a prude about these things, but it just doesn’t work here: there’s something demure about the rest of the look, and then we get plunging neckline and lots of inner boob.  (OK, “demure” isn’t exactly the right word — “tasteful,” perhaps, is better.)  And it makes me wonder: are those store-bought or home-grown?

      • I will vote home grown. after all, she’s still going enough that gravity hasn’t gotten her home address yet.

        • Rand Ortega

God, you can turn a phrase.

          • “[G]ravity hasn’t gotten her home address yet” is a keeper.

        • bitchybitchybitchy

She does look young enough for the girls to be her very own rather than store bought.

        • iheartbuffy

oh please. it looks like they start at her collar bone. that’s unnatural if I ever saw it.

      • The tops of her breasts are too round and high and hard looking. The roundness should be in the bottom part, like the models. Fake.

        • Verascity

I’m not sure, I think there’s some makeup going on there too.

      • Those are definitely store-bought.  A woman always knows.  I don’t care what your age is — real breasts don’t lift, separate and hover like that naturally.

        • gabbilevy

No, I think they’re getting quite a lot of help from whatever’s hiding underneath that dress. But that doesn’t mean they’re fake.

      •  As long as they’re not stolen, I don’t see how it’s anybody’s business but the owner’s. 🙂

  • mjude

you boys really ARE a fluffy ball of love.

  • TLJezebel

TLo, are your bitchpants at the dry cleaners?

  • G

I am getting sick of babyheads… small, medium and large… all on display.
And for some reason, this whole look appears cheap to me.

    • Dagney

Sigh, yeah.  LOOK!  At my TITS!  They aren’t completely awful, but bringing that neckline in one inch on each side would elevate the dress to next level of sexy AND ultra-classy.

The shoes are fine, but the “pop of color” is a little random on a look that is not meant to be random.  I would like to have seen the color tied in subtly, maybe change out the gold bangle for something with a sapphire.

  • I’m not loving the shoes with dress. Both are killer on their own.

    • kimmeister

Yes!  I love the shoes, but don’t think they have anything to do with that dress.

  • WANTS THE SHOES. Don’t care for the dress.

  • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

How old is she?  She looks like a kid wearing her mom’s favorite dress.

  • JillSpill

I think with just a little adjustment it could be much better.  The straps need to be shortened so the the bottom part of the V is right at her bustline – like it is on the model.  Then you would see much less boob and no underboob at all (and the length would be better).

    Otherwise she looks beautiful.

  • BazoDee

Can’t get past the baby heads and it being a skootch too long. And she’s having some concealer issues, don’t love the nude lip. Overall impression when combined with the posing is “trying too hard” –

*slaps screen* Come on guys – get your bitch on!

  • She has a tattoo that says LiveLoveLife.  ZOMG so . . . so . . . unoriginal!

  • RebeccaKW

I love those shoes.  I want to put them on and sweep into a room with a glass of champagne, with my skirts billowing behind me.

    • Shoelover1512

Me too! What a great image I have in my head now.

  • susan6

Between the “Boobs Ahoy!!” and “those are Carrie Bradshaw’s Manolos” and “that tattoo looks like dirt”….all of these things are combining to make me not look at her face at all.  Is….that the effect she was aiming for?  Probably not.

  • That dress is too fabulous for the “girls” to be mashed like something out of Dangerous Liaisons.  Unless she’s planning on trashing her dressing room after, then I’m on board.

  • Judy_J

I thought she was showing off how her nails matched the dress!  I’m not crazy about that plunging neckline, but I love those shoes!

  • sashaychante

That neckline is ridiculous and cheapens the look…IMO.  Otherwise, she looks pretty.

  • jw_ny

just tacky.  she’s really pretty…doesn’t need to try so hard to be sexy.

  • TieDye64

I can’t get behind that tacky neckline. All I see are boobs. No. Just no.

  • Zippypie

Way too much boobage!  Destroys the look.

  • margaret meyers

Say No to the Tattoo.  That’s going to be my show!

    • 3boysful

I am all for self-expression, but I guess I am too old to get past how visible tatoos for me bring down a dressed-up look.  Plus, when you visit our beaches and see them on women who are now “of a certain age” (and even men, for that matter), seeing exposed droopy tats are enough for me never to want one.  And you can never totally change your look the way ou can change your size, hair color and style, clothing, even eye color.

  • It looks like someone pasted a freshman yearbook picture on a Vegas restaurant hostess wearing the shoes from her older sister’s wedding.

  • frannyprof

You boys are definitely in a soft & fluffy mood. This look is okay. Just okay.

  • Scarlet39

I’m all for a pop of color, but I just don’t think it’s working here.

  • ballerinawithagun

Hate the shoes with it. Answering in general to the below–They don’t look like baby heads at this size. They don’t look smashed.  I hope they used some double stick though!  Don’t like the obvious posing and I would have liked some color for the nail polish. I was gifted a pair of Manolos in satin and I feel like they look cheaper than my satin Carerros.

  • grapefruit halves on her chest

  • Imasewsure

Love it on the model… not so much on whoever this is… I think it would have to be Heidi-Klum-tiny to work with the babyheads she is sporting….

  • That tattoo is silly.

  • Have I mentioned how much I LOATHE tattoos?  Does anyone really need “Live, Love, Life” on their forearm FOREVER?
The matchy nail polish has to go, too.  The shoes are a great color but scream bridal party to me.
I guess I’m making up for TLo’s “day of love & lollipops”.

  • Just stop with the barely covered babyheads. Why don’t you stick them on a silver tray and tote them up the aisle all the while yelling “Fresh boobies, get your boobies! Two for a buck!!”

It has not been a good day today and I do not feel charitable to all at the moment.

  • Trisha26

No to the neckline and no to the shoes.

    • out for a walk

Yeah I am not getting all the shoe love hereabouts, but to each their own! The more I look at these photos the more I dislike everything except the fabric her dress is made of.

  • shoes look like wedding shoes.  can not unsee.

  • Carla_Charlton

    Hello, Boobs!

The color suits her, but I think the shoes’ color is distracting.

    Not a fan of tattoos.

  • mayavaly

Only look today that I’m not completely on board the T & L commentary train. It’s mainly the buckle on the shoes that’s upsetting me, and then there’s the ‘in your face’ boobage, and the 6 year old’s handwriting practice on her arm. The dress is exquisite though, and I agree with whoever said that the Kluminator would look great in this. And that’s probably because Europeans are totally ok with, and can pull off?, the droopy boob look that y’all seem to find so disconcerting! (See model above for details)

  • pepper76

Too much plastic tittyballs on display for me. Great dress, just not on her.

  • lrhoff

    Spot on, boys.  Totally agree!

  • NCDFan

I hate these dresses which just scream, “Watch me, I’m going to cause a ‘wardrobe malfunction’!”

  • Patti Lever

    Too much boob.

  • jmorino08

I can’t get over how high her boobs are compared to the model’s. That’s all I’ve got…

    • Yeah!  That’s weird – I wouldn’t have noticed, but now cannot unsee it!

    • instantkarmalr

That’s one of the differences between store bought vs. home grown.

      • DCSheehan

        They look like two goitres!

    • amf0001

I think she’s so much shorter than the model that the dresss hangs lower,  and so her boobs look higher.  If they had shorted the straps,  there would be less in your face boobage and the whole dress would have hung better (though perhaps not in her opinion)

  • I like the colour “pop” of the shoe, but the buckle is no good for me.

  • call_me_schmeg

  • mmc2315

Love the shoes, but not with this dress.  Yep, that’s a lot of boob.  The ring display is hilarious!

  • Larkin21

I like most of it but the buckled jewels on the shoes just make it seem cheap somehow. I they aren’t cheap in the slightest but it still seems that way. Which is a shame because I love the shoe (especially the color) otherwise. The rest of the look is also great.

    • pookiesmom

Yes, the buckle makes them look like cheap prom shoes to me!

  • Myra C

Hmmm… Although I love the dress and she looks great in it, I’ll have to disagree about the shoes.  I love the idea of a pop of color, but blue was not the color.  Maybe lilac or eggplant, or even a dark, deep red?  Otherwise, agree about everything else.

  • melanie0866

Really?  It’s too long, too boob-y and the shoes are bridesmaid’s specials.

  • Mrs

Speaking as someone with a great deal of tattoo work, that tattoo is unfortunate.

  • MarissaLG

I happen to think that both the shoes and the dress are equally ugly.

  • That’s a lot of gratuitous cleavage, but I’m not going to deny that she looks HOT. And I love the nude-ish dress on a woman with slightly darker skin.

  • Jennifer Coleman

I’m not feeling this particular pop of color shoe with this dress. Too focus-pulling. But this actress has gained my enmity for the incredibly stupid character she portrayed on Heroes. I know she just read the lines, but she still bugs me nonetheless.

  • Nelliebelle1197

Did someone just take scissors to cut the hem off that dress??

  • neofashionista

to me she looks like a younger version of J LO and I honestly mean that in the best sense

  • Coralie Legister

I adore those shoes but I just don’t think celebs should wear them for public appearances. It’s like a guy wearing the scorpion jacket from Drive. They will forever be Carrie’s shoes.
