    • PeaceBang

Gorgeous from the neck up and the shoes are great but that’s way too much visual interest for one outfit. I’m suffering vertigo just looking at her.

      • ballerinawithagun

        I love each piece individually.

      • j_anson

        This.

    • http://twitter.com/kimbelsp kimbelsp

Is that a hole in the shirt I see?

      • http://twitter.com/SuzBald Susan Baldwin

I think it’s a hole, and I think her bra is orange.  I certainly hope I’m wrong on both counts.

        • pop_top

           No such luck…

        • https://twitter.com/Gayer_Than_Thou Gayer Than Thou

Those are two major problems here.

      • http://twitter.com/Wint3rhart Winterhart

I think it is, too.  It looks like the sheer knit got caught on something (front-clasping bra?), in one of the worst possible places. :(

I just can’t with the shirt and skirt together.  Either of them would be stunning with a solid, but together?  It’s just too much.

        • ballerinawithagun

That might be the explanation, or else just a fingernail as she was adjusting it to the right position.

    • http://twitter.com/NJPaganelli NJPaganelli

Personally I would be intimidated to wear something modeled by Joan Smalls…

    • mshesterp

The top is giving her a belly!  No like!  I think the skirt is very cool, and she has the right look to carry off that kind of pattern, but i hate the top.

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

I like the jacket and shoes.  The skirt not so much.  Makeup is good, but the hair is too “Little House On The Prairie”.

    • Rand Ortega

She’s a gorgeous lady but that dress needs a serious dose of anti psychotic medication. & a larger size (I think it’s ripping at the bust).

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/John-Spodick/100000711112594 John Spodick

It’s handlebar moustache vagina guardian man!

    • Sobaika

It’s flattening her chest and broadening her shoulders. No.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=34001565 Juliana Anderson Wilkins

It’s no good when your shirt is unraveling in full view of the cameras. Although even intact her stick-on bra is fully visible. Ungood.

    • charlotte

I can’t not see a giant alien skull face with eyes on her boobs.

      • http://www.facebook.com/people/John-Spodick/100000711112594 John Spodick

Now there’s a buddy movie for you!  Giant Alien Skull Face top allies with Handlebar Moustache Vagina Guardian Man Dress!

        • Rand Ortega

Careful! These 2 could be Marvel’s newest comic heroes!

          • http://www.facebook.com/people/John-Spodick/100000711112594 John Spodick

            They could join The Avengers!

      • BrooklynBomber

And I’m seeing the love child of a spider and something with antlers.

    • Janet B

I don’t find the pink lipstick fierce enough for her outfit.

      • http://twitter.com/foodycatAlicia foodycatAlicia

The pink lipstick is the only bit I do like!

    • Imasewsure

Wow I do not like those two pieces together and clearly they were designed that way. Still she looks beautiful (and I love the two pieces separately)

      • http://profiles.google.com/gillianholroyd gillian holroyd

I know, the square gap for the peplum is just odd and doesn’t relate to the skirt at all.

    • RebeccaKW

That is so unfortunate.  That face!  Those legs!  And she chose to wear this monstrosity?  With an orange bra?  No.  No. No.

      • MilaXX

I wonder if the stylist got her a tan bra thinking it would match her skin tone.

        • Celandine1

How the heck did the stylist think zebra pumps would complement this outfit??? Let’s throw one more competing pattern on the fire and see what happens!

    • dress_up_doll

She’s absolutely stunning. However, proportionately speaking, this look is doing strange things to her body — particularly her torso.

    • Lilithcat

There’s something odd happening in the cut-out, as though it were filled up half-way.  Also, she should have found a bra with a color closer to her own skin tone.  And I’d have chosen a solid black shoe.  Lord knows there’s enough pattern in the dress already.

    • AlexisPayne

With a different top this would be a fabulous look. Hair and make-up are fantastic.

    • http://profiles.google.com/marteani Barbara Guttman

“Excuse me, but I think you have a run in your cleavage…”

    • MilaXX

Bless her for trying but this look either needs to stay runway/editorial or be broken up and paired with other separates.  Then again this is part of that hideous Etro collection that Lake Bell wore a dress from.

    • Kate4queen

The two parts just don’t seem to ‘go’-maybe its just me…

    • RocknRollmom

Beautiful woman, hideous outfit.  And she looks miserable, like she is trying to put her best face forward in an outfit she knows is just a disaster.  Hopefully, she walked off the RC and immediately fired the stylist who did this to her.

    • BrooklynBomber

What a pretty woman. But that outfit, yeesh. Terrible.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1314255041 Irina Ryabchuk

Her antler boobs are scaring me.

    • mjude

      blech

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_VZLU6YVO4BRTELTTH3GRAAMWZQ Dot

Each piece is fierce on their own. Together, they are a travesty.

    • kolokOlchik

Way to many competing patterns.  And a hole on the blouse?  That’s just too much

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/DNWEFT2SVBX5T3NPMROQCT4U2U jennyv

Oof, no. Her face is gorge though.

    • Qitkat

Well, it works…if you like having your breasts tattooed.

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

Maybe the designer was inspired by his Mom’s x-rays…

    • kimmeister

The only things I like about this look are her makeup and shoes.  Hair is ok too.  Everything else is a big fat NO.

    • 3boysful

What a lovely woman, but please someone get her another outfit, STAT.  The nude/orange bra is awful, and the way the vertical black lines run down to the peplum gives her a tummy roll at the waist that’s probably an optical illusion.  Shoes are way too busy for such a busy outfit.  Some stylist did her wrong here.

    • http://twitter.com/watchinginkdry Krysta

She’s so pretty!  Like Beyonce, without being so lacquered and boring.  It even makes me happy with some of the crazier outfit details. . .

    • FashionShowAtLunch

Oy. Way too busy.  Headache-inducing. Love the makeup, though.

    • DinahR

I love this.  But the snag in the sweater is unfortunate.  Also, she needed a lining or something because the bra is not adding to the look.  Possibly that sweater is not meant for real-world wear.

    • http://twitter.com/PhDKnitter marlie

I like her look, but I think she should have gone with solid-colored shoes. And I appreciate that she went for a nude bra, but it’s the wrong shade of nude for something that’s *completely* see-through.

    • boweryboy

      Are peplums a thing now?

    • http://twitter.com/KiraMac Kirstin McAulay

      Dear Carmen

You are Fabulous.  Hair and Make-up gays are on your side… stylist is clearly working for someone else…. fire them immediately!!

    • quiltrx

I know it’s the way it was on the runway, but I’m inclined to say “one or the other, not both” to this one.

    • Trisha26

Disaster all around. The black fabric is torn at mid-bust – how in the world was she sent out that way? The dress/outfit is not flattering. Either that top (in a fabric that won’t tear) with a plain black skirt or the skirt as is with a matching/plain top. And black or some other color plain shoes.

    • DTLAFamilies

TLo, in case you don’t know, the Whiteboard and Celebrity posts don’t show up in the mobile version of your site for some reason.

      • http://www.tomandlorenzo.com/ Tom and Lorenzo

Fixed. Thanks for letting us know.

    • lrhoff

The top is ripped in the valley of her boobs.  Not liking this on her at all.

    • ThaliaMenninger

That dress is ugly and unflattering.

    • guest2visits

Two different dresses slapped together. The bottom could be an awesome skirt, but not with this top.

    • decormaven

Oh, honey. A tangerine bra under that top? Shades of the Great Pumpkin!

    • plinkiedoodle

      Out…

    • PeggyOC

That is a dress you have to believe in 100% and wear the shit out of.  She doesn’t look convinced, and thus no one else is either.  This dress is a degree of difficulty or three above her comfort zone.  Pack it up, honey and send it to an expert.

      • MarissaLG

Totally agree. I really like this outfit, but she’s not feeling it like I am.

    • HK4Seven

Love the skirt, love the shoes, just don’t love them together.  HATE the shirt.  HATE HATE HATE the shirt with that skirt.  But her makeup is really pretty.  If she’d done a black skirt with the shirt I’d be happier with this entire outfit.  Or a completely different shirt and shoes because really that skirt is stunning.

    • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

      um – who is this?

    • EEKstl

LOVE the skirt.  The skirt with that top and those shoes was a very bad call.

    • B_C_J

The skirt is BEAUTIFUL but it does not work with the top.  I am also not loving the orange? bra underneath.  It is very distracting.
Also, is there a rip in the blouse dead center?  I looked at the model and there does not appear to be an opening and yet there is definitely an opening in Ms. Ejogo’s blouse.

    • boomchicabowwow

Oh hell no.  She didn’t look in a full length mirror before she left the house, that’s for certain.

    • Jessica O’Connell

Anyone else notice that the blouse is ripped…?

      • alyce1213

        Yup.

    • alyce1213

What a mess.  An example of not mixing patterns well.
I don’t like either pattern particularly, and certainly not together.
