Kristen Stewart for Vanity Fair Magazine

Posted on June 05, 2012

K Stew’s one of those gals who simply can’t wear too much makeup. It’s amazing how much war paint her face can handle without looking overdone.

Kristen Stewart is featured in the June 2012 issue of Vanity Fair magazine posing at locations across Paris in couture dresses photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Jessica Diehl.

We don’t care who you are, Twi-fan or hater, you’ve got to admit she looks pretty amazing here. The dog’s kind of distracting, though.

Inside, Miss K is a potty mouth:

“I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph,” Kristen Stewart tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Ingrid Sischy in July’s cover story. “I get some serious shit about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like shit in half my photos, and I don’t give a fuck. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ‘She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.’ I don’t care about the voracious, starving shit eaters who want to turn truth into shit Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!”

Voracious shit eaters! My, she can turn a phrase, can’t she?

Anyway, our point is, K Stew can wear ten pounds of makeup, this editorial is fabulous, and potty mouths are fun.

And yet I still can’t stand her.

    • prettybigkitty

      She doesn’t care.

    • Beardslee

You and me and, judging by all the “likes” you got, many of the readers of this blog.
      She confuses charmlessness with sincerity.

      • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

oooooh yes yes yes yes yes
but she’s only just a kid.  still, you’d think her agent or handlers or someone would help her here.

        • Beardslee

Agreed, she needs help. I am sure I was also an idiot when I was that age, but I like to think I was a positive idiot.  She is so dreary and negative.

  • Jason M. Galloway

Looks gorgeous in the Gaultier.  Still can’t stand her-it was the “teachers failed me” line she puked out a few months back-I’ll never get over it. Then her back pedal-so awful.  The dog’s the star of the cover , though.

    • Miss_Magpie

I read a follow up….she meant they actually failed her. As in gave her Fs. Makes me hate her her a teeny bit less, but not much.

      • Asmith610

What a difference a little context makes!  I’m not surprised she failed classes in school; she’s never struck me as the studious type.  I didn’t come away from the Twilight movies thinking she was an amazing actress, so i’ve been pleasantly surprised that she’s had some pretty good roles since them, and more to come from what I hear (looking forward to On The Road). And i’d much rather read quotes like that from an interview than all the boring, scripted stuff most actresses say. She’s just being true to herself – nothing wrong with that!

        • Jason M. Galloway

          …and Kerouac wept.

        • Jason M. Galloway

          …and Kerouac wept.

      • Jason M. Galloway

That’s the back pedal of which I speak.  She said something stupid and mean about her teachers and then came up with that story.  So transparent.

        • Elizabeth San

  • jilly_d

She’s on my irrational celebrity hate list, but that Dior gown is stunning in blue.

    • HM3

Its model looks strangely like Betty Draper. Although maybe, it’s just me.

      • snarkalicious

No, I agree.  Also, her fellow model looks like a circus performer.

      • How to Faint

No, I thought so too. It took me a while to remember January Jones shills for Versace (which will never not rhyme with face for me, so thanks, Showgirls).

      • Verascity

I said the same thing before scrolling down and seeing this. I thought it was January Jones at first!

  • MzzPants

She looks great, though she’s not on my ‘highly annoying’ list.  Looking forward to seeing her age…the photos will be smoking’ hot.

  • j_anson

Oh geez. The editorial’s very striking, but I wonder if she realizes that when she says stuff like that, it just makes her look like she IS obsessing about how she looks, in a hipster sort of way. Yes, yes, K-Stew: you’re too cool to pose for pictures. We get it.

  • joe_tey83

I can’t stand her, not because she doesn’t look “perfect” in every photo. But because she’s a fking actress, she basically paid millions to emote and all she does is wear a perpetual sulk and be so uppity about shit. For goodness sake, just go look at a mirror, study your face and practise some other emotion than sourpussing.

    • MK03

      THIS. SO MUCH.

    • Kelsey Albrecht

IA. Her pics don’t say “she’s cool” or “she’s honest” and they DAMN SURE don’t say she “has/had a good time”. She needs to stop getting high on her own fumes. (And judging by the perma-sneer on her face, those fumes come from her ass.)

    • Rachel S.

I agree. I saw Snow White and the Huntsman over the weekend and I don’t understand why studios keep trying to sell her as a lead actress. She had her standard 2 faces and that was it. There’s no warmth or passion to her at all.

  • clatie

I’m so glad there are no interviews of me at 22 years old running my mouth about the world.  I was just as insufferable as she is.  Sure didn’t get to wear any couture, though.

    • Lisa_Cop

      Indeed, she is insufferable.

    • janedonuts

Seriously! Me too. I would have been perceived as an utter lunatic.

    • TieDye64

Ooooooo, you’ve got a point. At 22 I was pretty full of myself, had major attitude, and thought I was the shit. Not to mention being very opinionated and mouthy. It’s a charming combo. Ha.

    • LuisaNL

yeah, me neither but I was just as annoying.

  • NinaBoo

    • amf0001

I watched snow white and all I could think was ‘mouth breather’ – she never closes her mouth!

    • TieDye64

    • AthenaJ

      (quoting another PUF) “wabbit teef”

  • MK03

KStew, it’s not the photos of you that people have a problem with. It’s your “whatever, fuck the haters, I’m so above all this posing-and-acting shit because I’m so cool” attitude.

    • Bob Sponge

I totally agree. She has no idea why people dis her. And she doesn’t have the charisma to pull off her potty mouth.

  • Little_Olive

What is that on her lap? The love child of a puppy and a teddy bear? So cute. Nothing to do with the picture.

That heavy eye makeup is great on her. That’s all.

She started off boring. Now it’s just ridiculous.

    • HengRu

To me the cute li’l critter looks more like the spawn of a dog and a cartoon hedgehog. And Kristen appears so oblivious to him or her that it looks like the doghog photobombed the picture, an effect that I find hilarious.

    • snarkykitten

Ever see the Dark Crystal? It makes me think of the yappy thing the female gelfling had

  • Kiltdntiltd

Who is that man with you, K Stew?  YEOWCH!  I couldn’t even see her in that shot.   And her statement does not deserve a response.

  • kingderella

haha, “k-stew”? jennifer lopez has a lot to answer for. ^^

her face looks very good on the cover, which i otherwise think is just ok.
    the dior shot is amazing.
the gaultier shot leaves me scratching my head.

    • Little_Olive

It’s amazing all the production that went into the Dior shot… just for that shot. Or was she in the movie set?

      • judith traherne

Testino… wasn’t he in the Valentino doc at the end? I was surprised at the amount of chaos and randomness on that shoot. This is a fantastic setup; can’t really see her face in this clip but that’s a LOT of dress. I hope she carries it off.

  • Martha Jackson Deutsch

So, she dresses like a drunken sailor and she talks like one, too. Shocking.
    Good pics, though.

  • SpcilK

    Irritating still, but Gorgeous editoral!

  • Hannah Prutton

i weirdly love her. despite her distinct lack of talent…

    • buildmeatower

Same. If there’s an opposite of the irrational celebrity hate list, she’s on mine.

  • WendyD

I think she’s fierce. And the dog looks terrified.

    • turtleemily

I thought that about the dog, too.

    • schadenfreudelicious

it also looks seconds away from piddling on the Armani….

  • Lexie

Love the makeup, love the clothes, not in love with her as a person/actress/model.

On a side note, I’m having trouble deciding whether or not to see Snow White, because I can’t stand her but I love Charlize and I have a soft spot for the huntsman. Any input from kittens who have seen it?

    • janedonuts

It’s not a great film, but it’s worth seeing. It’s a fun summer movie and the costume design and sets are pretty amazing. Charlize is over the top fabulous, and Kristen is more or less innocuous. And yes, Hemsworth is hot.

      • Alex McGeagh

Agree with everything Janedonuts here have said. I only spent $10 to see it, though. I wouldn’t have spent anymore.

    • amf0001

Chalize was fab and the special effects were great,  and the huntsman was suitably dour and masculline (goodness he has large shoulders!)  and she was meh…   so we enjoyed but it could have been remarkable with a snow who could act…

    • mrspotts66

lexie, i’m just going to ditto you.

that and the more recent mouth breather comment.  😛

    • Ali

The script is godawful and Charlize chews the scenery and then some. Not even Chris’ hotness could save it. KStew’s performance is the least of its problems.

    • MK03

I plan to skip it, because it looks as exciting as watching paint dry. It’s not getting very good reviews, so that’s something to bear in mind.

      • vaughn75

Actually Movie Review Intelligence puts it at 65%, I don’t use Rotten Tomatoes as a guide if that’s what you’re basing that off of. All or most of the top critics liked it. It’s flawed but still an impressive film from a first-time director. Saw it twice, very entertaining and well worth $13.

    • Lexie

It’s decided then, I’ll save the $13 and just Redbox it in a month. Until then, I’ll watch Cabin in the Woods and Avengers again to pacify my Hemsworth craving.

    • LesYeuxHiboux

Hemsworth was better than expected, it was quite action-y, and the sets and costumes are gorgeous. Worth seeing.

    • vaughn75

I actually preferred her performance over Charlize’s, who overacted. Way over the top, and many critics agree.

  • anotherEloise

For a moment I thought that Dior model was Betty Draper.

  • Dr. Derf van der Derf

I, unlike most T-Lo readers it seems, would enjoy sitting down with Kristen Stewart and a large bong. I think she would be fun.
She looks great in the pictures.

    • michael tanner

    • terekirkland

I’m sure she can party like a rock star. Thing is, she ain’t a rock star. She’s barely an actress.

  • sk8tfan

Girlfriend may be a mouth breather but she looks fierce. Camera loves her.

  • AnaRoW

She really looks like Alicia Keys in the cover shot.

I sort of feel bad for her in that it seems that she’s being blamed for Twilight.  I haven’t seen the movies but I’ve read approx. 1.65 of the books and, seriously, Meryl Streep couldn’t have done anything with Bella. Her only “personality trait” is that she’s in love with a vampire.  It’s impossible to determine an actor’s talent when playing a limited role like that.

    • Aurumgirl

Except that a big part of an actor’s or actress’ talent lies in being able to choose the role properly.

      • April

As much as I can’t stand her, I’d say that making the kind of money that she is – (more than any of us ever will in our lifetimes) she didn’t choose that poorly.

        • Aurumgirl

Depends on what you want to accomplish in acting. She started off being born into more much than any of us may ever make in our lifetimes, so she could be as choosy as she liked. But she chose to make a blockbuster playing a character that really has no dimension other than being pretty and vacant and being in love with a vampire. And she could do that because her parents are apparently well connected in the business, anyway. So not a lot of talent was needed.

      • AnaRoW

I disagree.  Michael Caine, for example, is renowned for taking whatever role comes his way. He doesn’t pick and choose. Lots of talented actors don’t pick roles well.  It’s a separate ability.

Also it’s really only established A- and B-list actors that can pick and choose their roles.  The rest have bills to pay.  Yes, Kristen can pick and choose now but before Twilight she couldn’t.  Since then, she’s picked fairly interesting roles (She’s doing better than her boyfriend anyway), so she does appear to have that ability.

        • Aurumgirl

Maybe she is doing better than her boyfriend. Still, I wonder if she’d have the sense to go with a Cronenberg script, if he ever offered her one. If “her boyfriend” were truly less skilled than she, I don’t think Cronenberg would have bothered.

  • Lina_bee

What perfect choices in terms of costume. The Gaultier runway shot is pure circus acrobat bride — hilarious.  Interesting to see her presenting herself as the 22 year old kid that she is — that and the costumey clothes are a great commentary on people’s loud and unfounded expectations of who she “should” be.

    • who me

co-sign. It’s so interesting how passionately people despise her when she just comes off a bit awkward and self conscious to me. I think a lot of what she does is her being self conscious but defiant. There’s worse tendencies in this world, times that by 20 in Hollywood. People holding her to quotes she made at 20 cracks me up.

    • terekirkland

I bet she loved the circus outfit because she could say “Take that, Reese Witherspoon! Who looks better in slutty circus wear? This bitch! Also, stop kissing my fucking boyfriend in that elephant movie!”

  • myblackfriendsays

    too much cursing.

    • Spicytomato1

Yeah she needs to clean up her language if she wants to be taken seriously. It’s obnoxious. But she does look pretty, open mouth and all.

    • Little_Olive

Really, and does it have to be “shit” all the time? Seriously, if you curse so much, get creative.

It’s so sad when people ignore that actual words can be much harder than curse words.

  • Ali

Rob Pattinson made a comment that KStew gets a bad rap, in that she has the reputation for being sullen and people perpetuate it – bitching that she doesn’t smile and only showing photos of her not smiling, when in fact, there are plenty of good pics of her from the evening. I’ve even seen it on TLo posts here.

Girl’s still a mediocre actress, but I do think that she gets a lot of undeserved shit for her supposed attitude, which is backed up by selective photos/press.

    • vaughn75

I agree re the selective photo posting. The media has such power to shape public opinion and perpetuate certain stereotypes about people, though no one wants to admit that. I disagree that she’s a mediocre actress, but that’s a debate for another day.

    • SapphoPoet

Yeah, but quotes like what we read above don’t help her. She probably enjoys being known for attitude.

  • BazoDee

Her face looks flawless but she still doesn’t look comfortable in her own skin. She just always looks like she’s outsider her zone to me.

  • cteeny21

I don’t really get the haters. What did she do that made people hate her? Do an over rated film? Many actors do. I think she has redeemed herself in other films. I really liked her The Runaways. Anyway, just thought I would put that out there.

    • Ivona Foster

      She was awesome in Runaways!

    • vaughn75

Some recent articles defending her try to explain (Moviefone, Daily Beast thank you Marlow Stern)) it’s different for different segments of haters. There are those in the Twilight fanbase who lust after her boyfriend and hate her for getting in the way of their fantasies; then there are those in the fashion industry who resent the fact she can take or leave fashion, even though she’s grown to appreciate it; then there’s the male segment who prefer their women to look, act and/or talk like Kim Kardashian or Pamela Anderson; but I’d say the ones who have sent her death threats, i.e. the most voracious shiteaters,  most likely fall into the first category. I met her briefly and she couldn’t have been nicer. Softspoken, kind and drop-dead gorgeous. She’s not perfect, none of us are, but I find her refreshing because she’s not afraid to be imperfect. What matters most to me her commitment to her work, her appreciation for her fans and what her colleagues have had to say about her. I wish I had half of her self-confidence and self-awareness at her age. This editorial truly is stunning. Could have done without the pup, cute as it is.

  • Pattie knitter

I didn’t understand the K-Stew hate until I watched the MTV Movie awards with my daughter last night.  She couldn’t even string a sentence together.  We decided she was under the influence of the sourpuss gene, aka too much of herself.  I’ll take the little pomeranian.  At least he can breathe through his nose.

    • katie conroy

How is being inarticulate interpreted as too much of herself. I think she needs to work on her communication skills big time, but that really has nothing to do with being a sourpuss or too much of herself.

  • Anathema_Device

She does look amazing here. When I first glanced at the top pic of her, I thought that pomeranian was a graphic print on the dress. Whew. Glad my eyes were toying with me.

  • Alyson Lamble

Actually, I disagree about the makeup – she can, and she does, wear too much makeup all the damn time.  There’s such a thing as warpainting one’s face in excess, relative to one’s outfit, and hair.

  • MilaXX

She looks good in this editorial but her interview made me want to give her a big old slice of “ho sit down”. Her love/hate relationship with fame is tiring.

  • Ivona Foster

Love her! Love the attitude, and the potty mouth… she seems to have pretty good taste in music too and she looks fabulous here… hate Bella and Twilight

  • rose88

I don’t care what anyone else thinks of her because she looks fierce as shit in these pix!

  • Gina Christian

Simply gorgeous! And I still like her.

  • Liz Fox

I like her. She’s different and we need more of that in Hollywood, imo :)

  • Vera

She does look great, but I find her a big bucket of Meh.

    • AthenaJ

Agreed, she has potential, but the dead eyes ruin it.

  • Lisa Dugan

Gorgeous!  The clothing is amazing and her makeup is fabulous.  It’s true, she can wear the most elaborate eye makeup and liner and it still looks great.

  • Sarah Adams

All that editorial did was convince me she’s as dumb as she looks. And it’s not the use of curse words either – plenty of intelligent people curse. But if she can’t recognize the difference between being asked to be a perfect barbie on the red carpet (which nobody wants from her) and being asked to stand up straight and not look like a spoiled, petulant child all the time (which is what makes her so obnoxious) then she’s stupid and so are her handlers. She’s not “honest,” and she’s certainly not edgy. And she’s not a punk either, except possibly in the very old fashioned sense of “spoiled adolescent whose arrogance is based on nothing much.” She’s a moderately talented actress who hit it big in a horribly lame movie. She should grow up and get some perspective. And some humility.

    • jen hovelsen

meh, she has a point regarding the red carpet stuff. Actually she IS expected to act like a Barbie. She walks the red carpet, close-mouthed smiles, and it’s interpreted as bitchy. Her co-star Pattinson walks the carpet wtih the same expression, and it’s called brooding and sexy. Her other costar(the wolf kid) walks the carpet, smiles more than both of them, and is called a twink. Those twilight kids are an interesting commentary on gender role-d expectations and the rigidity of them.

  • giiiirrrr

Can’t we just enjoy the pretty?  Cause, pretty!

  • Candigirl1968

I find her potty mouth tiresome.  At some point, learn some new words.  And the seemingly endless “I don’t care about the haters” rants are starting to sound like the lady doth protest too much.

That having been said, the Gautlier picture may be the finest editorial shot of her I have ever seen.

  • PaulaBerman

If she and her boyfriend washed and combed their hair and smiled a little, there would be a lot less criticism sent her way. Does it make me a voracious shit eater that I said that?

  • TieDye64

You guys are right. She really does look pretty with all the war paint.

  • jen hovelsen

I think she’s a girl who is somewhat gangly right now, still looks like a teen, but will be smoking hot by 26 or so. Hopefully her awkwardness fades a bit too and she learns to play the game with a little more saavy. I get a feeling she wants to be all authentic and “real,” but that can’t happen when you are an actress who has to hawk her movies and herself like an informercial whore. I think with time she’ll learn how to be herself more graciously. She’ll figure it out – I don’t really get all the heavy handed criticism for someone who is at least trying to maintain some sort of sense of self in such a soul-withering industry.

  • jabes

I think she looks like Elizabeth Hurley in that photo with the Gaultier bodysuit-thing.

  • VicksieDo

Oh, so she’s too cool for things like posing, making a good showing at the red carpet, and very worried about what people think of her.  Um, ok.

  • Verascity

Is it just me, or does the runway model for the Dior look EXACTLY like Betty? I thought it was actually JJ for a second.

    • sekushinonyanko

Me too! I was like what is Betty doing here?

  • Sau-Chih Feng

I always love an actress more if she has a potty mouth. Case in point, Keira Knightley. I fucking love her.

  • frankystein123

I think she is a terrible actress, but I have to admit though, she does look fab here.

  • jfrancais

I used to irrationally hate her, but I have to say I give her some credit. She’s expressed that she struggles talking in front of other people, so I would much rather her just relax and be her sarcastic self like she does than put on an annoying fake mask. She keeps Hollywood interesting.

  •!/Space_Kitty Space Kitty

Love her makeup on the cover and the Gaultier does amazing things for her body.  Credit where it’s due.

  • Liana Brooks

Yes, well, obviously we aren’t fans of each other. I can’t find anything redeeming about her and she… needs a dictionary so she can expand her vocabulary.  She’s not a rebel belle, she’s just a foul-mouthed, uneducated girl with too much money and not enough restraint or class. At least you aren’t featuring Snooki.

  • guest2visits

Beautiful pics; she looks amazing.  Except the dog. Notice how her hands are not really touching it.
Wonder why they placed such an inherently irritable, fussy animal in her lap.  I would never see this as her pet.

Would love to see the royal Catherine in that beautiful Dior gown.

  • MinAgain

Is she congenitally unable to hold her shoulders back?

  • MinAgain

Is she congenitally unable to hold her shoulders back?

  • quiltrx

Ah, another from that gorgeous Dior collection.  I adore black/white/grey, always, but it’s really stunning in that blue.

And she looks gorgeous on the cover…really old-school glamour girl.

  • Sara__B

I think her mouth is actually closed in the photo with the over-the-top, gorgeous Dior gown. And yes, she looks amazing in these photos. But then she had to speak, and I’m once again surprised at how immature she is. She talks (and usually looks) like a girl at least six years younger. I keep waiting for her to get over her teenager mentality, but she’s 22 and she’s still there.

  • Marie Ee

I can’t even understand how anyone would think she looks good on the cover. Second shot, I’ll admit she looks great. The cover makes her look like an amnesia patient! And also reminds me of that comment TLO once made about “this is the section for girls with spinal problems”.

  • Victoria Pavlova

Incredibly  pretty on the cover. Love the look on her.

  • Aurumgirl

Nothing’s as convincing as someone who repeats that she just doesn’t care.

Still, she’s never looked better.  I wonder if they had to pose her like a doll for each shot.

  • Lauren Lynch Fox

  • altalinda

Nice photos.  She doesn’t bother me, except I think her red carpet photos would come off much better if she’d stand up straight.  Like they say in figure skating, extension.

  • Kylara7

Meh…to me she will always be “that Twilight chick” and thus get the automatic -64000 point deduction.

  • Larkin21

I don’t like the cover picture at all. Her face looks incredibly flat, which is an impressive feat for someone with amazing cheekbones like hers. The other pictures, though, are amazing.

  • sweetlilvoice

I hate to be rude…but does she have an adenoid problem? Or maybe a breathing issue? Because her mouth is constantly open…

  • mozzer0906

This is a fabulous editorial and you are so right about her being able to wear a ton of makeup and not look overdone.

  • Jessica O’Connell

I hate her with a burning passion and I think her potty mouth sounded like she’s a fake going for shock value (I mean really, I’m from New Jersey, I know how to curse and she just sounds like she’s trying too hard), but I’ll admit that she looks great here.

  • HengRu

Kristen is wearing both outfits better than the models, IMO. She must be longer-waisted than FauxBettyDraper, because she looks great in the Dior, while poor Betty looks like the skirt is slowly rising up to consume her. And she carries off the Gaultier better because she has at least a little more meat on her bones than the runway model does.

  • TheOriginalLulu

She certainly doesn’t look like shit here. She looks gorgeous; not as stiff on that cover as she usually looks when all glammed up. Maybe it’s the puppy that’s making her more comfortable. I agree with another commenter who said she prefers to read a little potty mouth attitude than the pre-packaged drivel that most starlets spew when they do these things.

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

I don’t know.  She just doesn’t do it for me.  I think she looks like a basic sort of teenager to me.

  • UglyCasanova

I don’t get it with all the hate she gets.  I think she’s -kind of- awesome, she won me over in the movie Into the Wild and still despite all the Twilight nonsense.  She only needs to get rid of that RPattinson.

    • terekirkland

I don’t even remember her part in Into the Wild, even though I know she was in it.

      • UglyCasanova

I’m not sure if you meant that as a jab but I’ll explain anyways.  She played a supporting role, a horny teenager after Chris (Emile’s character) in some camp-village in the desert.  She also sang too, she can actually carry a tune (assuming they didn’t use auto-tune), not saying it’s a voice that would make clouds part, flowers bloom, with birds chirping along or anything.  Small role but still great, I thought.

  • Call me Bee

Yeah–she looks nice.  If she closed her mouth.  And, obviously, never gave another interview.

  • elleg929

She looks a bit stoned on the cover.  Eyes a little more open, mouth a little more shut and this cover could be amazing.

Girl definitely has her persona down and as terrible as it sounds, I think it’d probably be rad to get some drinks and talk shit about celebs with her all night.

  • up with pod people

Love her. So tired of the “give me a smile, baby” double standard foisted on female actresses.

  • andreawey

I admire a creative potty mouth:)

  • donkeygospel6

Her horrible personality is more distracting than the voracious shit-eater on her lap.

  • Eva_baby

She never, ever, ever looks comfortable in her own skin.  It makes me annoyed with her.

  • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

What an insufferable twerp.  Shut your mouth, clean up your language, and learn how to act.  THEN maybe you’ll deserve all the crap that is thrown at you.  Jesus Christ on a breadstick.  I cannot stand that girl.

  • DominoEstella

I enjoy her interviews.  She does look good, I wish she would actually do something with her hair on the RC.

  • Rebecca

I wish she was more gracious. It’s just…you sound like a total douche, KStew. You may not be, but that’s how you come across.

  • Pamela

Why does she always look like a mouth-breather?

  • snarkykitten

The dog looks deeply concerned about her uninspired potty mouth

  • CatherineRhodes

I may be the only PUF to love Kristen Stewart, but I honestly do (knowing her only through her indie films, her portrayal as Joan Jett and not having seen any Twilight movies). I dig her take-no-prisoners style. She looks amazing on this cover. I even approve of the dog.

  • Laughingworld

For once she doesn’t look like Elvis in every picture.

  • Laughingworld

For once she doesn’t look like Elvis in every picture.

  • PeaceBang

She’s a vapid idiot, she’s over-indulged and over-exposed, and she can’t shut. her. damn. mouth.

  • emily

if she would only close her mouth…

  • LinXGUA

Yeah, yeah Kristen. She isn’t slouching so the photos are really pretty. She’s a gorgeous girl. Now, isn’t cute the Cirque du Soleil guy or what? Thanks for posting!

  • pugluv

The shoot is pretty…but it is ruined by the interview…these shit eaters who criticize her pictures on the RC include T LO who do not in any sense resemble that remark.  She is self absorbed and very immature and she may end up with studios that do not want to take a risk with her because of her mouth and her perpetual foul demeanor.

  • Renaissance_Man_ATL

    She’s stunning in the Gaultier!

  • landwlkr

    Close. Your. Mouth.

  • Diego!

I like her. And I love this editorial. I’m not a fan of the books or movies but she looks fierce here.

  • rebecca

What everyone else said. She’s highly insecure and trying wayyyyyy too hard not to care. THe sulky act is just too punk rock – lite for me when you know she wants it to be harder. Sweetheart, you adore the publicity, we all know it. And you need it because you and everyone else knows your acting is sub-par.

  • drdarke

Ehh – I can take or leave Kristen Stewart.

She’s nice-looking, but not really to my taste – seems more like the kind of girl my younger brother (the one who was into motocross without a helmet, smoking a lot of weed, and broke every bone in body at least once by the time he was 21) would go out with.
