2012 MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet – Part 1

Posted on June 04, 2012

Darlings, it was the MTV Movie Awards! And you’re not gonna know who half of these underdressed attention whores are! There’s a metric shit-tonne of these bitches, so don’t be surprised if we restrict our assessments to as little as one word.

Alexander Ludwig

Bad enough he’s under-dressed, but that jacket is too small for him.

Amy Paffrath

 Coffin lining.

Andrew Garfield in Prada

 Cute.

Casey LaBow

 Tacky-ass.

Channing Tatum in Joe’s Jeans

Cute, but a little too undone for the RC. Also, cuffed jeans tend to make the wearer look short when shot from the standard RC angle.

Charlize Theron in Lanvin

 Dead perfect.

Christian Ricci in Christian Siriano

So apparently Christian designed this dress in collaboration with Timex or something like that. It’s all kind of vague. It’s all right. Looks a bit Project Runway-ish.

Crystal Reed in Issa London

Pretty, but a bit heavy-looking and serious for this event.

Holland Roden in Mandalay

 Standard.

Julianne Hough in Sally LaPointe

Awful. She’s obviously got a great bod, but her shape is not right for this dress. Girl, That is TOTALLY Not Your Dress.

Kat Graham in Maria Lucia Hohan

A bit much for the event, but hey, at least she put the effort in.

Kathryn McCormick

Cute enough The shoes are kind of ugly.

Kristen Stewart in Guishem

Pretty much her signature look. The dress is a bit much, but it’s perfect for her.

Logan Lerman in Balenciaga

We were going to complain about untucking Balenciaga, but scroll up and compare him to Channing Tatum. Logan looks downright impeccable in comparison. And we love these colors on him.

Louise Roe in David Meister

 Looks like a bedspread.

Martha MacIsaac in Katharine Kidd

 Looks like a sheet.

Nikki Reed in Randi Rahm

She looks like she’s stopping by on her way home from the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year luncheon.

Tyler Posey

Assuming those are jeans (and thus, not subject to dress pant hem length rules), this is pretty close to perfect.
