In or Out: Angie Harmon

Posted on May 24, 2012

Question for the Kittens: Is Angie Harmon looking fierce here, or looking a little scary?

Angie Harmon attends the 37th Annual Gracie Awards Gala. Shoes by Christian Louboutin.

Christian Louboutin ‘Un Bout’ Pump

Because, hey, we’re all about the fierce-looking ladies here at T Lo Fierce Assessments, Inc., but we also think that ladies who project a natural fierceness (like Angie here, or Jada Pinkett-Smith) need to be aware that there’s a thin line for them, and that it helps if they go soft somewhere in the look to prevent it from looking severe.

Now, that’s a pretty sharp dress, but it’s also stiff, armor-like in the bodice, and loaded with print and color. We’re thinking the dress suits her fine, but the shoes were what took this from being fabulous to being a bit harsh. A dress like that doesn’t need pointy-toed red shoes with plastic sides and toe cleavage. Something simple and less focus-pulling (not to mention something that complements the colors of the dress) was called for here.

Also, her hair is a mess.

Vote Now!

IN! Gimme a fierce muthafuckin AMAZON any day!

OUT! But please don’t tell her I said that. She looks like she can hurt me.

The minions agreed that Jessica Chastain’s “sexy secretary” look was a little bit “droopy secretary,” but they voted the look IN anyway.

OUT! Super scary. That dress is an eyesore.

      • bitchybitchybitchy

There is way too much going on in that dress to make it an IN in my book.

    • BuffaloBarbara

The dress is okay by me–I’m not crazy about it, but I wouldn’t give it an out.  What pushes it to OUT are the see-through plastic/vinyl shoes.  It is not fierce to see the curve of the toes, or to wear, essentially, a tough plastic drop cloth on your feet.

      • http://twitter.com/jennsaysmeow Fifi LaRoux

I totally agree. Those shoes need to be taken to the desert and left there to die. And by die I mean melt in to a clear puddle because they are freaking VINYL!

      • miscorrections

SO many people have been wearing those sweaty shower curtain shoes and they’re frankly gross.

    • Frank_821

a marginal out. she went too far. Probably all in her quest to play She-Hulk in the movies

    • suzanne77

In. She is naturally fierce and the shoes don’t bug. Her hair is messy, but a more structured hair do might have pushed this into super bitch territory. Hard call, but ultimately in.

      • AudreysMom

My ‘like’ for suzanne77′s post is my vote. IN. Love the craziness of this dress.

      • Louise Bryan

I give her an IN.  She’s a fierce looking woman who can work a fierce look.

    • DaveUWSNYC

      Hair in the bosom-carapace…OUT!

    • famousamy

Ugh. Out. Those shoes can’t go away fast enough. And that hair is worse than my 5 year old’s when she wakes up.

The dress almost looks frankendress-like to me.

      • http://profiles.google.com/anplica Anplica Fiore

Agreed – I almost wonder if the extra glue from putting the shoes together has been stuck in her hair…

Agreed – I almost wonder if the extra glue from putting the shoes together has been stuck in her hair…

      • mshesterp

        Agreed on all points.
We’re seeing those shoes on EVERYONE.  I don’t think they’re terrible, but i’m awfully tired of them for seeing them so often.  Go away, shoes.
The top doesn’t go with the bottom, and the top looks like a hard shell and that it’s digging into her armpits.  No like.  She could do way better.

    • http://joyouslifesf.wordpress.com Kiltdntiltd

I’m going with OUT on this one.  Sorry Angie, that is not the right color combo or styling for you.  It looks like you’re shedding one layer of scales to grow another. (ick)

    • MissAnnieRN

Out. Sorry, Angie. I’ll still maintain my girl crush on you though. Those shoes are everywhere these days. I loathe toe cleavage on myself, though it doesn’t look as bad in photos as it does in my mirror. But plastic on shoes will never not look cheap to me. Even though Loubs are as far from cheap as it gets. Love the bodice of this dress, hate the skirt with it.

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jessica-TallGirl-Freeman/1043623567 Jessica TallGirl Freeman

OUT. The dress is terrible, but paired with the red and clear shoes sends it way over the edge.

    • mozzer0906

I actually like the top on her, but then you really get some massive scroll down fug (thank you fug girls).  The skirt and the shoes push this into OUT.

    • http://twitter.com/lareveuse lareveuse

She looks greasy. Dewy is done–a bit of blotting would go a long way here.  Hair needs a good brushing, and that dress is trying way too hard. The top would be OK if the bottom weren’t so much. Hate the shoes. Stank toe. Can practically hear her feet screaming. OUT.

    • http://twitter.com/mcterzakis Marianna

I think that she herself looks fabulous, and she is the only person thus far I have seen to actually pull off those shoes, but the dress is a mess. Out.

    • http://opinionandamovie.blogspot.com/ Deitra S.

Those shoes are skanksville, and far too focus pulling for that dress (and possibly any other dress on the planet).  The shoes and the hair push her from “fierce” territory into “harsh & sleazy.”  No, no, no, no, no.

    • HomeOfficeGirl

She IS fierce and can’t hide it.  IN for me.

      • TropiCarla

ITA. She is a clear IN for me … but then again I might be a bit biased towards fierceness. I am accused of projecting terrifying energy at times – leftovers from my days as a HS Math teacher. lol

    • SheWhoMustBeObeyed

Is that a trompe l’oeil ruffle at the bottom? Eeek, my eyes. Out.

      • http://www.djplaw.com/ Tadiana

I was trying to figure out that ruffle.  It looks like the start of a motorcycle race.   Out, primarily for that ruffle.

        • Carlodog

Ha ha motorcycle race ruffle.  Spot on.

    • petalfrog

Out… shoes are awful and the bodice is weird

    • everest19

Out. Everything is just too much. And the shoes are tragic. Her body looks fab though!!

    • http://twitter.com/jaythenerdkid Aaminah Khan

The shoes and hair take this from fierce to frightening. OUT.

    • reddhouston

I was still with her until that hem..it’s crazy, the fake ruffle thing is just horrible

    • http://twitter.com/predecessors Rina

The dress looks like the concept pictures for an ad for a new Ben and Jerry’s ice-cream- maybe a honeycomb, chocolate and toffee combo. Pity it would make for a better ice-cream flavour than a dress.

      • ballerinawithagun

Good description! All of this digital imagery is just making clothing look like a graphic design project.

        Out.

    • http://twitter.com/lenabena_ Elena

I was hoping you guys would feature this look because it’s such an OUT. Everything sucks here, I’m sorry.

    • http://twitter.com/ohmybears48 Michelle Argento

Out. She looked like she hulked that dress and its print.

    • MaryMitch

I do not care for that dress at all. Too much going on there. And the hair IS a mess.

IN.  It’s a fierce dress and she looks beautiful (she doesn’t age!).  I don’t like the shoes either, hate the toe cap look, but wouldn’t mind if it was another gorgeous pair of red.  I see where she picked the color up in the dress.  The bodice is stiff but I guess that’s the price paid to be on red carpet.

    • CPK1

Frankendress as someone else said!! As for the shoes, she has super slender ankles and feet so she can carry them off but I still think they are unnecessarily tacky. Also, I think its funny she is standing in front of a sign that says sexy hair when her’s is anything but

she may have been going for “beachy” but that hairstyle smacks a little too much of freshly f*cked” for the red carpet….

      • janetjb

I agree about the JBFness of her hair. That dress calls for something equally fierce and “beachy” isn’t fierce.

        • schadenfreudelicious

incorporating “JBFness” into my dialogue immediately…:)

I’ve seen those shoes in several posts now and as much as I hate criticizing a Louboutin shoe, these are just ugly and, as MissAnnieRN said, cheap-looking. Despite the shoes, I was wavering until I looked back and realized that the backdrop read “Sexy Hair” all over it. When you are going to be photographed in front of the words sexy hair, you really should make an effort with your own. Sorry Angie, you are out.

It looks like a frankendress to me. Out. Why do so few of these women wear shoes that fit?? I’m baffled.

    • kimmeister

Small in.  Not in love with the style of the shoe, but the coral color itself works fine.  I think what bugs the most is the asymmetrical hem.

out. she herself looks great, the dress is too extreme. and by extreme i mean ugly.

    • NurseEllen

It’s completely irrational but despite everything she is pulling off this look.  IN.
(I also tend to forgive a lot for those lucky folks with dimples; they just slay me.)

    • http://melissahess.com melissahess

IN, but the dress should be a smidge looser and the shoes need to go…

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/K3O2QNXDJIU3AJINAGNJRYWDZ4 mrspotts66

      not crazy about the dress.
      hate toe cleavage.
and for pete’s sake, someone hand her a brush!

    • CheriCPat

Out.  Hate the dress, hate the shoes.  How can she walk with all that extra shoe in front? Oh, and brush your hair.

    • formerlyAnon

Out. That dress is competing with itself and it’s not in colors designed to set her coloring off.

    • MilaXX

OUT! This isn’t her dress. I don’t mind the print or even the curved bodice, but I don’t like that hem on her or that shoe. A:so the hair is a mess.

    • http://www.lippsisters.com/ Deborah Lipp

It’s close, but the hair dangling inside her bodice crosses a serious line. Out.

    • janetjb

      Out.

The bodice looks a little tight, as in “can she breathe?” tight which lends to another layer to the scary factor.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1551171308 Gali Golan

I think she was trying to do what you usually recommend with busy dresses – pick one of the less obvious colours in the dress (there is a bit of red in the ruffle/curtains thingie at the bottom) and go with shoes in that colour…

    • Joanna Schuth

      OUT. Future Real Housewife.

In, because I like the ‘Spirit of the Beehive’ dress for being so different.  I’ll just look at the last picture, where I don’t have to see those hiddy shoes.

IN. I love this look from head to…ankle, or thereabouts.

    • Kristy Evans

Oh that dress makes my eyes cross. And then the shoes…and the hair. No, Angie. OUT.

It’s that same weird bodice that ScarJo had on a while back —  is this also a Versace No-no?

Dress is a bit odd but those shoes are fuggly!!

    • Judy_S

I will give her an In. I like that dress and not many people could wear it, I suspect. I dislike the shoes quite a bit but I dislike most heels these days and I think that, if that pair has to exist at all, this is the place for them.

    • Jessica O’Connell

I HATE those shoes! They look so cheap and the push the entire look into that category. OUT.

    • Christina Brennan

IN.  I like the look.  I agree that the red shoes were not the best choice, but I like the dress on her and her messy hair softens it up for me.  So, IN.

    • Bozhi

In.  I like the idea of red shoes with this dress, but not those red shoes.  I have yet to see someone make those shoes work.

    • gabbilevy

Her hair looks truly sad, which is doubly insulting since the wall behind her is screaming “SEXY HAIR.” Like the dress though. Still–OUT.

    • Jennifer Hofstetter

I think she looks super fierce. Hair is a mess, but IN nonetheless.

    • http://twitter.com/hdl_b Heather Barkman

OUT! Good lord I hate those stupid shoes. The people who are paying $795 for them should just give me the money. I’d whip them up something equally ugly for like $20 and keep the profits.

    • MsKitty

Between the shoes and the collarbone-crushing bodice I’m in pain for Angie. OUT.

    • Anathema_Device

Out. As much as I love print and dresses with multiple prints, this one is just plain ugly. She is wearing it really well, but it is not a good looking dress. Then, I add in the shoes (hated them the other day, hate them here…plastic on shoes looks cheap to me) and the wind-tunnel hair, and yeah, out.

    • http://twitter.com/tthobe tara thobe

      out.

    • Mexxoo

      Where to start…
I have never been a fan of “Lunch Tray Tops” – you know… the kind of top which looks like someone took a lunch tray and held it up on front of her chest?  It has no movement, but if she bends over, she can shove 3-5 extra pudding cups onto the tray and no one will notice!  Well, this Lunch Tray Top is about 4 inches too high.
And the dress is one size too small.  I wonder if Angie can breathe at all?
I like the idea of the dress – it’s interesting, but it’s just not working on her.  I want to lower the top and put it on someone else.
      OUT.

    • Judy_J

OUT. The whole outfit looks uncomfortable and unattractive.  And I REALLY hate those shoes.

    • cmb92191

The dress looks like a Charo reject.  And the shoes– with a plastic insert?  Good lord, it’s like they were those $2 jelly shoes from the mid eighties.   Nice shoes like that do not need plastic.   And again, I am a size 9… so any shoes can find a home here– I don’ t mind :)

      Forgot to say OUT

    • http://twitter.com/delysia_lafosse Delysia LaFosse

Oh god. I really hope those shoes aren’t going to be a mini-trend on the red carpet. First KStew and now Angie…

    • http://twitter.com/starlounging Ann M. Erickson

I hate those shoes. HATE. So out, obvs

    • yulaffin

Don’t like the dress or the shoes but I just love her, especially her voice.  Wonder what her voice would look like in couture?

    • Sunshine16

OUT – go up a size, brush your hair & ditch those nasty shoes that are making their ropunds for some unknown reason.  K Ang?

    • DebB_Rocker

IN, BUT, with Christa B Allen’s shoes swapped in. That dress needed some camel brown sandals, IMO.

    • BrooklynBomber

Wow, that’s it, exactly: fierce, or a little ferocious?

She does look amazing, bod-wise and attitude-wise. But this must be a bad shoe day at TLo Fierce Assessments, Inc.’s subsidiary, TLo Shoe Evaluators, LLC.

    • megohd

I can’t see past the gorgeous smile on her face. For that reason, she is IN for me.

    • NCDFan

So many ugly shoes, so little time to wear them!  I like the look except for the shoes. Those pointy toed monsters look ready for some butt kicking pain. But I can’t give her an out for wearing $800 shoes.  In

OUT I don’t like snake skin and these “un bout” shoes are ugly when they are worn. Maybe it’s because I’m French and can therefore appreciate the subtlety of their name which illustrates their concept perfectly, but I love the idea of these shoes. It’s futuristic and both sharp and fun. However, we’ve seen them a couple time this week on lady stars, and it’s always  horrible. So please put them in

That breastplate she’s wearing looks uncomfortable and there’s too much going on below the waist. OUT.

    • poggi

    • AlexisPayne

      Out.

    • crash1212

Waaaay IN to my eye. And I like the hair…it’s the ‘softness’ you were looking for. I love the idea of the shoes with the dress – the color and the style – but they’re monet-esqu…good from a distance; up close…plastic inserts??? GAH!

    • sleepycat

The dress to hair, everything looks terrible, OUT. I going out on a limb here and saying that I love the neon green shoes.

    • deathandthestrawberry

I like the print, but hate how high the corset sits on her chest. It does give the impression of a breast plate. Maybe she should have accessorized with a sword and gladiator sandals, and left the cheap-looking plastic shoes at home. OUT.

    • erinbinek

      Yes, exactly what you said.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_YAMNQMUGFM4NNSPAQLZRODSD5I Angela

No NO NOOOOO!!! The front of that skirt looks like the entrance to the Holland Tunnel! What’s in there? Oh, it’s your lady cave!

    • http://twitter.com/Nancer Nancer

Totally IN! I love a strong fierce look like this.

    • RebeccaKW

Out.  I don’t like the skirt and I still hate the shoes, I don’t care what color they are.  I do like the fact that the bodice covers her girls instead of squeezing them out of the top like toothpaste.  But overall, it’s a bit of a mess.

    • marilyn

IN.  This dress looks great on her, and I don’t care about the shoes.  They are annoying, but not a dealbreaker.  This would be a great dress for clubbing, and she looks great in it.

    • golspie

She personally looks glamorous and glowing but the dress doesn’t keep up with her.

      Out!

    • jjfg

Out.  The shoes are still god-awful (hopefully they’ll be over soon) but I can overlook them; the dress is busy but sort of works for her – but the hair!  Jeezy creezy.  Looks like she just washed up on some distant shore.  Totally drags the overall picture down.

    • Beardslee

OUT.  It’s too much of a muchness; it makes me want to have a cup of tea and a lie down, as I’m sure she will have as well once she has taken that dress off and can bend again..  Plus,  those shoes are a plague upon us all.

      • Pennymac

        Word

    • Hetha Innis

Fugly dress! She’s so hot that she almost sells it.

    • EEKstl

OUT!  However, she is so gorgeous that she ALMOST makes it work.  Is it me or are those shoes AT LEAST a size and a half too large for her?

    • jessieroset

I hate to say OUT since I have a huge girl-crush on her, but OUT it is.  She’s too pretty for all that fussiness.

    • oohsparkley!

There is a lot wrong and a lot of things going on and wrong, but she still looks fierce, so she’s an in, in spite of her shoes and hair.

    • Pants_are_a_must

Can we burn those shoes? Can we? Please?

    • nannypoo

The dress doesn’t fit, it looks uncomfortable, and it seems like someone else’s but I can’t think who that would be. I think I hate it. Also the shoes are wrong for the already-wrong dress, and her hair looks like she just got out of the pool. So in general this is pretty bad.

    • ChristySchiff

OUT. What the hell is going on with that print?!?  I love the cut and fit of this thing, I think the shape and color of the shoes work well, but I don’t understand the dress.

Plus, I have owned clear vinyl shoes (Oh, hi there 1990s) and if there is ever a shoe that deserves the name STANK PUMP, it’s this one.

    • Aurumgirl

Yucky dress and I guess we’re going to be seeing those cheap gangster moll shoes everywhere now.

    • j_anson

Eh, I like the dress. In, though I agree the shoes were the wrong choice.

    • Joyce VG

I don’t like it.  OUT. Angie is fierce though.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_6TDAYXK555ABAKZEEOAJMC25FU Stan

OUT. The backdrop says “sexyhair” not JBF hair! Not crazy about what the bodice of the dress does to her either.

    • Susan Crawford

The dress is overdone – there’s just way too much going on. Between the snake-print, the heavy fabric, the metallic aspect, the scrolling stuff . . . my eyes are rolling in two different directions. And I’ve seen these shoes on a couple of carpet posers lately and (a) they look extremely uncomfortable and (b) for shoes that cost a veritable fortune, they look Payless and (c) toe cleavage on a high-heeled, pointy-toe design looks a bit “lady of the evening” as my dear mother would have phrased it. Sorry, Angie, you usually knock it out of the park, but this is an OUT.

    • BazoDee

More in than out so IN

    • piecesofconfetti

OUT. I don’t really like anything about this look.

Real Housewives of New Jersey – OUT.

    • Chillmer

Her hair is a total rat’s nest. Give the lady a brush!

    • Cathy S

I think she looks fierce in that dress. So so sorry about the shoes though. I’m giving her an In though because she’s pulling off the dress so well.

    • butterflysunita

IN.  She looks fierce.  Weird dress, yes, but her figure looks great in it and she’s carrying it off.

    • librarygrrl64

Dress okay (for her; not my taste), hair AWFUL, shoes bad (Lucite/plastic shoes will never NOT look cheap). OUT.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=508917743 Nicole Merrill

Out. It’s just not working for me.

    • holdmewhileimnaked

the shoes are horrible. apparently they are the it shoes of this season. y o y o y o y? <—–said in txt speak.
the dress is great, even though the bottom looks like the hudson river before it caught fire, i think in the 70s? 80s? anyway, a trash pile going south–or, in this case, i guess, southwest.
still, were it hemmed [i think. hard to tell], it would be a fabulous dress & i prefer saying nice things to awful things so put me down in the good column.

    • allisankelly

      I hate those shoes, too.

Cool dress, but Angie needs to go up a size, though.

    • http://twitter.com/BMoke28 Bernadette Moke

      OUT! That dress has ADD..

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Erin-Hines/620149309 Erin Hines

The dress is awesome, and she is rocking it…..but i HATE those shoes with a loathing I generally reserve for Uggs.

    • Patti Lever

Dress is way too tight, that’s why it is crawling up her body and those shoes…feet get sweaty and sticky in them. Plus they’re just plain ugly.

    • bluefish

In but just barely.  I don’t care for this new neckline — or no neckline — or whatever it is.  Jada PS was sporting it in her orange with gold trim evening gown.  Unflattering–like some kind of weird baby-carrier.   And didn’t we see these same shoes in yellow on someone else?   She’s attractive but the super-black hair beyond a certain point is really aging … a few streaks might not do her any harm.

    • http://twitter.com/crush_onyou crush on you

I personally don’t much like the dress (that hem definitely bugs me), but if someone can pull this off it’s her. Love the shoes, just not with this particular dress. Her hair is fine by me.

    • sashaychante

OUT.  Angie is very good looking, in a sharp way.  I think the dress is, especially the breast plate top, makes her look too severe. The dress seems almost too tight.  I’m not sure who could pull off that breast plate thing.

SICK to death of those shoes.  Everyone in Hollywood has worn them now.  Stylists – show some originality please.  Whoever is paying these people to wear these shoes has certainly gotten their moneys worth.

    • Qitkat

A little of both I think.
IN because that is a really cool dress, and because it’s really fun to do the *Bitter Kitten Judge* on someone new here.

Her hair really is a bit too mussed though, and those are killer shoes in a really baaaad way.

    • Larkin21

I love Angie but I don’t think she looks fierce or scary here. Just kinda … eh. Out.

    • altalinda

      Out.

    • TheOriginalLulu

She WOULD have looked fierce if she had just combed her hair. She looks like she had her head stuck out the window on the freeway on the way over. The shoes are fug. I hate shoes with clear plastic.

Still, I’m giving her an IN because her body looks slamming in that dress. This bitch is forty.

    • mjude

      out

    • Candigirl1968

Hate the shoes (I guess we’ll be seeing them in every color and rolling our eyes as we work through the rainbow this summer).  The hair needs improving, but that dress is made for her.

    • http://frankbettecenter.org/ sleah_in_norcal

talk about scroll down fug!  the dress is fab until you get to the hemline, which looks deliberately messed up (somewhat like the part in her hair), then you get to the shoes, and you better start running before she kicks you in the shins.  those things look lethal!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1401197785 Jennifer Peters-Ahnberg

I do love her, but yikes. OUT. *runs away*

    • BeeBeauNYC

IN – I think she’s rocking an edgy look. She sat at a table next to me a few years ago at an NYC restaurant – I can confirm that she is drop dead gorgeous in person.

    • Jangle57

I’m really on the fence here but in taking another look, I get to the shoes and that pushes me off the fence into OUT land

    • cleep1000

It just looks so uncomfortable. OUT.

    • newleaf1

      Dress is heinous.  HEEEEY-NUUUUUS.

    • Carlodog

OUT.  Don’t care for breastplate bodice on her, on Jada, on anyone!  And yes the shoes look cheap too.

    • http://profiles.google.com/sara.e.munoz Sara Munoz

No. NO no no no no.

The dress is just tacky. They took some (okay, a LOT of) interesting textural elements– and screenprinted them on. I don’t get it. This is just an ugly dress, and I hate those shoes.

    • http://twitter.com/Merneith Merneith

Out. The dress is too busy and the shoes are all wrong.

    • lilazander

Out! Her hair is a mess and the dress looks like it’s going to pop in the seams any minute.

    • TSkot

A beautiful lady in a hideously ugly dress:  OUT

    • TieDye64

OUT.The shoes must DIE!!! and the hair’s messy. The dress just looks a bit odd to me.

    • ringthing

IN for me. I’ve never thought much of her as an actress, but I think she’s drop dead gorgeous and I don’t get to look at her enough. The Un Bout pump needs to be destroyed.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=610791985 Aniela Marie Perry

OUT. She looks like she’s molting.

    • siriuslover

my gut reaction on scrolling down to the first pic: “oh dear god, no!” and I don’t usually react like that. OUT

    • http://gabyrippling.tumblr.com/ Gabriella M

Is that a Marie Katrantzou (pardon my spelling)? IN because I love her weird schtick (or whoever decided to ape her).

    • girliecue

Must be Scrolldown Fug season. Angie Harmon is one of the most beautiful ladies in the world, but this time she’s OUT.

    • http://www.youtube.com/user/toodleskitty79?feature=guide AWS

The dress does not fit right.  The shoes do not fit right.  She looks like she got fucked in the limo on the way over and we are seeing “after glow” hair.

      OUT

    • http://twitter.com/cornekopia Shawn EH

Out! Too much dress. But I like the shoes.

    • http://www.facebook.com/samuel.j.donovan Samuel Joesph Donovan

Dress is heinous and is WAY too tight on her.

      The shoes are doubly heinous.

    • jw_ny

      Fierce…I mean…IN!

I really dislike the clear part of the shoe…like that she paired red with this dress.  She looks great.

    • AnaRoW

I like the bottom half of the dress and the colors/pattern. I hate the bodice on it though. I don’t like the shoes although I’m okay with the color.  I’m also not a fan of hers. So it’s an OUT for me.

    • VioletFem

Is this a dress by Mary Katranzou?

    • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

I’m going to have to say OUT.  She looks like the ultimate cougar, and the shoes are what is doing it.  Not an attractive dress, either – just too many elements.

    • Srw27

I hate that “crumb catcher” thing on the front of her dress.  And her hair is just tragic.  OUT

    • annamiklo

I’m going with IN.  She looks fierce as shit.  I love me some Amazon.

    • greyhoundgirl

Like the beehive bodice–HATE the skirt part.  The shoes are so ugly.  That = out.

    • http://aldonsusi.blogspot.com/ Susi R

      OUT.

    • MaryMG

Out. It looks like she can barely move. Shoes also ugly.

    • CarolinLA

The bodice throws it off.  It comes up too high over her boobs.

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/JO2ZPMWZR7BENRHIQ7DYGJP2HQ Melanie

Out.  Scroll-down fug.  She looked great in the thumbnail, but the skirt is painful to my eyes.

    • MzzPants

Yikes!  She’s all bony and pointy-toed.  Plus, the dress (which I kind of love) is too tight.  OUT

    • Lina_bee

Out.  Snakeskin print on the bodice. Crocodile print across the skirt. Weird angular geometrics. Weird angular hair. Weird angular shoes. All with her natural facial angularity? There’s no balance here. It’s like she’s covered in sharp corners. It crosses the line from fierce into in fact dangerous to approach.

    • http://cheekypinky.wordpress.com/ Rebecca

Yup. The shoes are just too much. Good call, TLo.

    • http://twitter.com/dollsaga Dollsaga

Out! it looks like these easy cheesy strapless Barbie dresses made by Amateur seamstresses on  ETSY.com.   really Ugly neckline–this part is worse than these made by Amateur sewers.

    • prettybigkitty

      Frankendress OUT!

    • suzq

The dress is ugly, which is a shame because Angie looks marvelous.  I’m not ready to put a lace gown on her, but perhaps a solid color would be better than something that looks like someone was rooting through the Joann Fabrics bargain bin.

    • SapphoPoet

Out. This isn’t fierce–it’s just angry.

    • butter nut

OUT.  if this was a solid color, or a subtle textural print, this could have been slammin’.  but the print looks like shit & the colors don’t suit her.  also, it might be a size too small.

    • saanrio

OUT.  That dress, ugh!  Not even caring about the shoes, the hair or the makeup right now, that dress is the thing that killed this, and not in a good way at all.  D:

    • http://eclectictsunami.blogspot.com/ Cassie

I love the dress, actually, but the styling is a big miss. OUT.

    • LambeeBaby

What is the graphic on the bottom of the dress? It looks like jockey’s racing horses? and the top is a honeycomb…odd.
Not so good. Those shoes are the same one’s that Kristen Stewart was wearing in florescent yellow. I dig the shoes, but the dress is a big Rorschach test.

    • Cheri Lee

OUT. I can’t with this dress and I agree about the shoes, too harsh with a dress this “busy”

    • Nonnah

Fierce from the waist up.  Insane from the waist down.  But I’ll give her an IN.

    • http://twitter.com/nkk Nikki

OUT those shoes DON’T fit…. hellllooooo… and that dress, it’s okay, but she needs a softer color/print than snake skin, she’s kinda intense herself

    • AngelaGreen

I like the dress for the most part, but OUT because that 8-foot-high neckline makes her chest all weird.

    • GTrain

i didn’t mind the shoes so much. i think she would have gotten an In if she wasn’t so bony. OUT

    • Judih1

Out for all the reasons you stated. Great dress but the hair and shoes ruined it

    • demidaemon

I love me some Angie, and I think this dress is actually supercool, as the elements flow into each other rather than fight each other. The shoes are pretty awful, but I still love this look. IN.

    • CatherineRhodes

      OUT

    • another_laura

Going with Out.  I applaud the idea of the dress but not the execution.  And the shoes, those horrible shoes.

    • Sophie Collier

I’m okay with the shoes (looks like there might be a little bit of red in the dress towards the bottom?) and the messy hair I can overlook.
      IN

    • luciaphile

She looks like you could strike matches off of her. And no, that’s not a good thing.

    • malvernite

kimmy kardashian wore them, unbelievably, to go tramping about the english countryside. vampire girl wore them in neon. now this person who appears to be related to mark harmon is joining the crew. that louboutin style  seems  popular, considering their perceived faults.

    • Call me Bee

Not crazy about the dress, but it’s so nice to see Angie on any RC, so I say IN.  Her smile makes up for her ratty hair.

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_63FW2Y5BWUARL7PJGWK54TUDGE Carrieanno

      Out.

    • PeaceBang

YIKES! OUT. The hair is scary, the shoes are scary, and she looks like she just murdered someone. Too much. And she’s usually so unbelievably gorgeous.

    • Alisa Rivera

I’ve seen Angie Harmon in person and the bitch is TERRIFYING. Really tall, stick thin and so many angles you could cut yourself on her cheekbones or elbows.

    • aristida_girl

IN..I love that dress and think she looks great..

    • http://twitter.com/grooxcore Marie Ee

She looks like a much older Kate Middleton. Except of course, not so carefully demure. Does anyone else see that?

    • ThatPeterG

      IN

    • Sisyphus .

I love that dress! Not so sure about the shoes, and she definitely needs to re-style (wash?) the hair. I give it an IN.

    • FlamingJune1967

Love the dress.  It makes up for the shoes…. IN!

    • lesmaha

      ugh. OUT!

    • Samantha Irene

The bodice is like something from a nightmare – some evil flat sectioned snake – everything else is okay – still OUT though for the scariness.

    • http://www.facebook.com/janet.selman Janet Selman

Too bad she spilled her coffee.  OUT!

    • Robyn Morelli

OUT – she looks like a Real Housewife of NJ…

    • Vickiefantastico

OUT! That dress is one of the ugliest I have seen in quite some time.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=768540908 Badriya Al-Badi’a

OUT, she looks like a psychotic android and not in the good Audreybot kind of way.

    • lrhoff

In all the way — you go, Angie!  LOVE the shoes…..

    • guest2visits

Completely agree about the shoes; and I’m not liking the way clear plastic was used, in this particular shoe style.
I think the dress could have been wonderful if all the extra work at the bottom had been taken away and left the skirt portion
a straight, less overly-busy, snug sheath.  The top half and the print already has enough going on.
As pictured; the dress looks like it’s trying too hard to do everthing at once.

    • Lilyana_F

I think she’s working it for me :) Fierce dress, kinda fierce shoes, she looks like she’s enjoying it, so… IN, girl

    • http://twitter.com/Eovaai Eovaai

OUT.  Hate everything about this look.

    • ThaliaMenninger

      SCARY.

    • DCSheehan

Out.  Its an in if I cover up the bottom two third of her skirt and imagine it’s all made of the same fabric.  But unfortunately in real life my hands aren’t big enough to hide that horrid hemline.

    • http://twitter.com/Kamilaahh Kamil

      OUT.

If nothing else, I can see myself reflected in her shiny, shiny face and it’s freaking me out. Also? That hair is a mess, and the shoes are horrific.

      So out.

    • LesYeuxHiboux

OUT. This is worse than the scene in Agent Cody Banks in which a middle-aged Angie Harmon enters a full high school boys’ locker room clad in a red leather pantsuit.

    • calimon

She is a beautiful lady and smiling like it, but no, that dress is just no. out.

    • http://twitter.com/pag_baj Paige Boerman

I hate the dress, the shoes don’t go with it AT ALL, and her hair is a mess. OUT.

    • RyzandShyn

OUT! Way too fierce a dress for a muscled bone of a body. Wrong shoes and terrible hair as well.

    • LilyPad

      A clear and obvious IN.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=527150091 Pat Biswanger

She’s looking a lot like Susan Lucci, all sinewy and big hair.

    • http://frockpaperscissors.blogspot.com/ kvlm

Horrid.  She looks like the is a day away from a molt.
