Cannes In or Out: Jessica Chastain in Hervé L. Leroux

Posted on May 23, 2012

We can’t tell if we love this or not. No, really. We’re actually having a hard time forming an opinion.

Jessica Chastain attends “Lawless” Photocall during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Hervé L. Leroux. Shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti.

Hervé L. Leroux Ready-to-wear Collection

Giuseppe Zanotti Patent Leather and Calf Hair Platform Pumps

On the one hand, we love a good take on the “sexy secretary” look. On the other hand, this kinda looks almost too literal. Also, it would really help if she followed the T Lo maxim: Chin up, tits out. Or maybe she needs better support in that area. Either way, the little chastains are looking a little droopy in this.

But it’s a cute dress, non? And we dig the daytime hair and makeup, which help play down the “sexy” in “sexy secretary.” We can’t help thinking the platform slingbacks bring the look down a little bit. And we realize she’s going for a clean, day look here, but a bangle or necklace might’ve been a nice way to punctuate the look.

Basically, we think it’s cute, but not as well done as it could have been.

Vote Now!

IN! It’s cute, bitches.

OUT! Miss Chastain, please hold all my calls.

The kittens reacted as one to Berenice Bejo’s spastic fingerpainting of a dress, voting it OUT.

IN, but not perfect, for all the reasons you listed, T Lo.

  • IN. I also like how the top resembles a bathing suit. Perfect for the Riviera, non?

The colors are a little unusual but totally great on her, and those are quite the shoes. I can’t decide if I like them or not, but they are certainly quite.

    • bookish

“I also like how the top resembles a bathing suit.”

I tried on my bathing suit last night because I’m getting ready for a vacation, and my first thought on seeing these photos is that the top looks exactly like my suit!

    • ChristySchiff

  • allisankelly

In. Very cute dress. Maybe a bit droopy in the bust, but that could be posture, not the dress.

  • I love the dress. LOVE it. I love her make up. She photographs better with light makeup, I think. Not crazy about the hair or shoes, but neither are a travesty. So why the hell doesn’t this work? I don’t know, but I say OUT.

  • AwesomeMargie

Posture would have sold this look.

    • carolynmo

I agree. I’ll give an IN. The shoes are fabulous.

  • VioletFem

IN. She looks really good. I like the shoes but I’m not sure that there the best match for this dress. Her hair looks cute though.

  • Nicole Chubb

In – needs improvement, but this is definitely her look! I don’t think I’ve ever seen her look this good. She looks pretty and comfortable. I love her hair!!!

  • RzYoung

Hmm IN but it’s what can only be described as an over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder. Still I like the colouring on her. Damn this girl is hit and miss

  • Jennifer Hofstetter

Love everything from the neck up. The top of the dress looks like a mom bathing suit and the bottom is just standard pencil skirt. Shoes are like office attire on crack. I can see why it’s a hard decision, because she certainly doesn’t look BAD. But I would still say OUT.

  • Scimommy

    In. Love it on her.

  • IN – Just seems to be missing an accessory or …dare I say… two.

  • In. With quibbles.  Its a wonderful color combination for her.  The halter neckline is flattering to her shape. My quibbles are few, but pointed.  The skirt length cuts her at just the wrong place, making her look wider than she is.  if it were an inch or so shorter this wouldn’t be a problem.  And I really dislike those shoes with this.  They look too heavy, and certainly not right for Cannes in May

    • ballerinawithagun

In. I agree with your “quibbles”.

  • SpcilK

IN, cute on her but like you said the lack of accessories make this a bit drab. Different earrings would have really added to this look.

  • TieDye64

It’s IN, but her girls are looking a little sad.

  • cheesebomb

    I seriously love this dress.

  • In, I think she looks great in this.

  • ΙΝ

  • bailey debruynkops

its boring therefore it suits her, in

  • I love the makeup, don’t love the hair, love the dress, wish it had accessories, don’t like the shoes.

The dress is pretty killa, though, and none of the flaws are egregious. IN.

    • NinaBoo

Oh thank you!  I don’t like her hair at all.  A couple of days ago she did a similar twisty thing with her hair and now it’s braided.  My nieces’ stylist would do the same thing with their hair at 7 and 8 years.

  • In_Stitches

I love everything from the neck up-she’s really figuring out what flatters her skin tone and unique bone structure.   It’s all incongruous with the somewhat uptight dress, but  not so much that the effect is jarring.  Still, I don’t love the dress.  A high-waisted pencil skirt is no one’s friend.  She gets an IN, but I’d suggest she go home and find the starlet equivalent of a white sundress and some espadrilles.

  • Carla_Charlton

Those shoes…ugh!  And the dress looks good when the top is pulled up and it doesn’t look droopy (as in the photo showing her from the waist up).

    • angryparsnip

I so agree with everything you said.
But those shoes, it looks like she needs help to walk in them. They are very clumsy looking and and her posture suffers.

      cheers,  parsnip

  • bookish

IN. I think the dress is adorable, even though the shoes aren’t great.

  • In. Totally appropriate and cool.

  • janetjb

I like her hair and make up.

She needs some confidence to make it work, instead she looks unsure.  Out.

    • mjude

I agree with the confidence & looking unsure but i still think i will give it an IN.

      • janetjb

I think she needs a few good accessories including better shoes.
Sometimes I’m soft-hearted and this could earn an ‘In’, but over the last few months I’ve tried to be more critical (grumpy) and only give an ‘In’ when everything works.

  • I was having so much trouble figuring out what it was about this look that was bothering me until I scrolled down and read “chin up, tits out.” YES. I’m going to give her an IN, because she’s SO CLOSE.

  • IN. Love the shoes.

  • AlinaValero

in. adorable dress, yes, but she could have done more with it.

  • Melissa Brogan

The girls need a lot more support. And I hate the shoes. And I think she looks like she’s on her way to a lunch meeting or photocall than a Cannes appearance.

    Grudgingly IN, though.

  • mrssage

IN, it’s cute. not trying to be anything more than photo call cute.

  • AnaRoW

Is that Guy Pearce standing behind her?

    • Eclectic Mayhem

Yes, and Nick Cave.  Not sure why they’re all together but that’s them!

      • Guy Pearce is also in the film and Nick Cave wrote it!

      • pattyw

Nick Cave wrote the “Lawless” screenplay; Guy Pearce is one of the movie’s stars (along w/Chastain).

    • Shia LeBouf is in there, too. Thank you, Jessica Chastain for standing in front of him. Seriously, he is so gross.

  • marilyn

IN.  Very clean, and colorful.  My only issue is with the dress, not Jessica.  The striped fabric on the bias creates an optical illusion that she is wide in the middle.  Like she has a muffin top.  We know she does not, and is as trim and thin as possible.  So, my IN is with reservations about the dress, not the wearer.

    • Eclectic Mayhem

    • kimmeister

I’m 100% with you on the diagonal stripes across her middle.  But I don’t particularly like the dress anyway, so I’m giving her an out.  The shoes are great, but not with that dress.

  • BrooklynBomber

No. Good on the model, but not on her.

  • gabbilevy

Damn! If Miz Chastain, whose boobs are much smaller than mine, can’t wear this neckline sans droop, there’s no hope for me. Sadface, because I would otherwise KILL in this dress.

  • MsKitty

The saddlebag effect up top is unfortunate but I’ll still give her an IN.

  • kelsita421

She cute and the dress is cute, but the state of the girls make it a very small IN.

  • schadenfreudelicious

i will give her an IN, but i do think the shoes are all wrong, far too heavy for the look

    • I agree. I love the dress on her even if her boobs need a bit of a lift. But I am SO OVER platforms.

  • ChiKat67

IN!  She looks really young and fresh without trying (had no idea she was 35!!!!)

  • Jessica O’Connell

IN because it’s cute, as you said, and I think the hair and makeup look much better than usual. I wish she’d worn a necklace and maybe some different shoes, but all in all I think she looks great. It’s definitely a step up from her average RC performance.

  • Mostly in.  The bust needs more support, and though the shoes are fab, I don’t think they go with the dress.

  • phrenk

Love the dress, bored by the shoes, swayed by how pretty she looks: IN.

  • deathandthestrawberry

Her droopy shoulders are ruining the look. I want to like this, but I also think her complexion and hair color isn’t working with this dress. And maybe adding some jewelry would help. OUT.

She also looks uncomfortable and self-conscious, like she knows the dress isn’t working.

  • ChristySchiff

IN, but hate those shoes.  Shoes are too hookerish.

  • IN. super cute!

  • Anna Tree

OUT. Does terrible, terrible things to the girls.

    • AudreysMom

Agreed. Out from Audrey and I for the optical illusion effect on the girls.

  • Lina_bee

Undecided. I love the bodice and wish there’d been a built-in bra because girlfriend *needs* a bra. I like the hair and makeup. I hate the fit of the skirt and I hate the shoes. She rocks those colors and looks fabulous from the ribs up, but from the top of the skirt down it’s a fail.  Disappointing.

  • EliseC

    IN.  She’s really pretty.

  • Aly Light

I took one look and knew you were going to say something about saggy tits. I really don’t care if breasts looks like their natural shape– in fact, I kind of like it. I can’t figure our why her make-up always looks just a touch off, but this is one of the more flattering things I’ve seen her in. IN.

  • TheOriginalLulu

    It’s cute. She’s IN bitches.
My only complaint is that I want to march up to her and tell her to stand up straight and stop squinching her shoulders like that, but I feel like I’m always saying that about these people.

  • Love it.

  • DaveUWSNYC

    IN, droopyboobs notwithstanding

  • unbornfawn

OUT. The problem here is not the dress, it is the styling. Definitely needs different shoes, those are way too clunky.  Absolutely a cuff and more statement making earrings, even if it is daytime, and the hair, ouch. It looks like Mommy couldn’t get it combed and put a bobby pin in it to keep it out of her face. Don’t like the lip color and some architecture in that bodice to hold those girls up sure wouldn’t hurt.

  • olympedegouges

    Nick Cave! Anyone?

  • AlexisPayne

In, it’s pretty close to perfect

  • PeggyOC

In, because it’s a general step up from her usual and because she’s smiling so nicely.  But yes, she needs some more support in the chest region, and the the fit could use some improvement.

  • guest2visits

Think no.  The back may be more attractive than the front. But she is very pretty and so are her shoes.

  • RebeccaKW

In.  I think the shoes are wrong and she does look droopy in the faraway shot.  But upclose it’s not so bad.   A bangle would be nice, but I love bangles and wear them with a tshirt, so I might not be the best person to judge that.  But hair and makeup are pretty and overall it’s a good look.

  • Jangle57

She’s wearing a color that doesn’t wash her out and it’s a cute dress   – IN

  • Vickiefantastico

IN, although I agree with you about the accessories. Anything would have been nice.

  • BazoDee

IN – needs a bra or tape or something but still IN

  • Spicytomato1

Love her hair and makeup. The side part in her hair is a revelation to me…so flattering! “LIttle chastains” cracked me up, and they are the first thing I noticed, too, poor things. It’s too bad they don’thave more support, but still I say she’s IN.

  • Out.  The top is incredibly unflattering.  Makes it appear that she has back fat, which she does *not*.

  • Le_Sigh

    IN.  But barely.

  • Super_Red

I’m saying out, purely for the boobage slump.

  • Beardslee

In because it’s a great dress and I like the way it fits her.  Hate the hoof shoes though.

  • Laura Nugent

IN!  I like it.  And I always so want the best for her, and she so often misses terribly, but this is really quite good.

  • MzzPants

The dress is great and her hair and makeup are great, however I don’t think they go together.  I think this dress required some sexy hair and makeup.  OUT.

  • I don’t think the combo of orange and black can ever NOT read Halloween.

  • BigWhiteGrannyPanties

IN!  Gorgeous and different and she looks all fresh and happy and relaxed.

  • IN!  love it!

  • IN. Quite love it…my minor quibble is the animal print on her stilettos.

  • amywinns

IN to the dress, hair and makeup.
OUT to the shoes (maybe better with something else) and lack of other accessories.

So, overall IN but it’s a squeaker.

  • I’d love it more with a fuller skirt in the same fabric as the top, instead of the black pencil.  Out – it’s too blocky.

  • I think it’s a cute IN. She looks fresh, except for the shoes, but there is a good “I have a complete look” air about the ensemble.

  • IN!

  • Srw27

    Love the shoes-IN

  • Cathy S

    It’s very cute. IN.

  • cmb92191

If only I could get away with that dress and shoes..  I do love the dress, but it wouldn’t work for busty ladies without some design changes.

  • Gorengirl

    In, she looks adorable!

  • IN.  For fun use of stripes and braids.  It’s not perfect, but outfits so rarely are.

  • j_anson

IN. I like it, even if I don’t LIKE-like it.

  • IN! she looks cute and sexy.

  • Yeah, not perfect, but cute. She gets a slightly hesitant IN.

  • IN  she looks really good

  • snich11

    Stand up straight!

  • erinbinek

I love it. This is the best she’s looked in ages.

  • Scarlet39

For me, it would unquetionably be an IN if it didn’t make her chest look so droopy.   Sorry, because of that I give it an OUT.

  • golspie

The tits are fine, it’s the dark lower half of the dress that’s a drag. But I think she make-up, hair and shoes all work.

  • Sunshine16

In.  But can someone get the lovely Ms Chastain some support for the girls please?

  • You don’t love it.

  • Synnamin

In! Love that dress, and I think it looks comfy and flattering. A little downstated, but still appropriate for the Riviera

  • Pants_are_a_must

I think the proportions of the dress are off, to be honest, but I agree that once again, the girls needed a bit more of a lift. IN, but I’m meh about it.

  • OUT, because it looks like her breasts are lower than her bellybutton.

  • In. I love her hair and her make-up is flawless (i.e. almost nonexistent, but appropriately so). I’m not loving the dress, but it’s doing its job.

  • TSkot

    She looks great: IN

  • Forget Jessica Chastain’s semi-cute dress! I saw Guy Pearce and Nick FREAKING Cave in the background of these pictures and realized I’m now TERRIBLY interested in this film “Lawless.” Written by Nick Cave and directed by John Hillcoat? I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS FILM RIGHT NOW PLEASE.

  • Joyce VG

    It should be an IN?

  • Forget Jessica Chastain’s semi-cute dress! I saw Guy Pearce and Nick FREAKING Cave in the background of these pictures and realized I’m now TERRIBLY interested in this film “Lawless.” Written by Nick Cave and directed by John Hillcoat? I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS FILM RIGHT NOW PLEASE.

    • Nick Cave! Nick Cave! Who cares about the dress??

  • IN: it’s a great skirt, some great colors keeping focus above the waist, and some low-key styling to contrast. Does she look unsupported in the dress? Yes. Is she maybe a bit too under-made-up for this dress? Maybe. But I like the impact it leaves.

  • 3rdsister

In — especially as seen in the 3rd photo.  She looks charming.
Not a fan of those shoes, I have to add.

  • VicksieDo

IN.  I could never walk in those shoes, must bow down for that!

  • In

  • IN despite the shoes

  • In, yes.  But the shoes belong to Dita Von Teese, not Jessica Chastain in daytime Cannes mode.

  • Out. The proportions are way bugging me.

  • MilaXX

small IN. She’s looking better to me these days. I do agree the boobs need a bit of support and a small bangle wouldn’t hurt, but I like the outfit/shoes and really love the freshness of the hair/makeup.

  • sashaychante

OUT  The dress is not bad, but the shoes are tacky!  It’s out for the shoes alone.  I am so SICK of seeing these ridiculously high heels with the odd platform on the front of the shoe.  It’s very stripper-esque…icky!.

  • saanrio

IN, but only just.  I don’t really like this one, but it kind of, almost works.  There are a few problems, and it is hard to tell if the puppies are falling asleep there, or if it is partially an optical illusion thanks to those stripes.  This is so close to an out, I almost feel like I should be voting both.

  • OUT. The details are fine but overall it’s a mess.

  • ringthing

IN! But yeah, a bangle is called for.

  • Sad boobs. Out.

  • benjamin478

    In. But a flawed in.

  • Sabrina Stern

In–There are fit issues but not enough for it to be an out, and considering what she normally looks like, this is great.

  • pattyw

The way the colors combine at the top of the straps is like some form of optical torture – my eyes literally hurt from looking at it.

  • I agree–IN but not perfect.  Haaaate the shoes.

IN…This is a really good step in the right direction for her!  🙂  I think the shoes are too heavy though, maybe the Jimmy Choo’s that EVERYONE has been wearing lately!  And her girls definitely need some support!  But aside from those 2 little details I think she looks beautiful!

  • crash1212

Hair and makeup – IN. Shoes – resounding OUT. Dress…looks like a high end swimsuit on top (wish sad boobular area) with a pencil skirt tacked on – it bugs – OUT. Guess two OUTS = OUT. Sorry Jessica.

  • IN! Love it!

  • Ali

Love the dress, hate the shoes. So sick of fugly, ginormous platforms.

  • Judy_J

I’m probably in the minority here, but I like it.  I like the criss-cross straps in the back, and the optical illusion stripiness of the bodice gets me in a sort of op art way.  I do wish she would have accessorized a bit, but overall I give her an IN.

  • Susan Crawford

A little more support needed in the breastal area would kick this up to a WERQ.

  • aristida_girl

IN but lord a better bra would have made this outfit so much better

  • JimMcC

OUT! That side braid? Those shoes made of hate? The chest droop accentuated by the top’s pattern? I often feel she’s graded a little harshly, but this time I’m shocked by how nice people are being! I’m beginning to think that when I look at her, I’m bound to have an opinion that is the complete opposite of the rest of the commentariat.

  • lilazander

IN, her body is amazing, I covet the pumps, but I think the top part of the dress makes it a little to casual floppy.

  • Haley Buchanan

IN – there’s usually something about her that I don’t like in photographs, but this is adorable from the pattern of the dress to the chic riviera hair to the animal print shoes.  Well done!

  • petalfrog

In. I would love to own this.

  • SO BORING. I am SO tired of jersey pencil skirts…pencil skirts in general, really.

  • kikisayshi

YES! There is a contrast in color between her clothing and her skin! I can forgive some droopy boobies for the happiness this brings to me seeing her wearing some sort of color, even if it is mostly black. Totally IN.

  • Cuter than she’s looked in quite a while. IN.

  • Lilyana_F

Kinda IN, very pretty hair and make up, cute, if a bit “office party” dress, could have done it better with the right accessories and the right attitude. Own what you wear, girl, you can be fierce enough!

  • GTrain

  • CheriCPat

In.  Would have been an all-caps IN if she had taken advantage of the shoe options this dress presents.

  • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

IN.  Love the hair and the minimal makeup.  The dress certainly looks better on her than on that emaciated model!

  • I give it a marginal “in.” I like the dress, though I think she could use a little more, um, support. And I love the shoes, but I’m not sure if they go with this dress.

  • librarygrrl64

IN. Love everything about it except the shoes (which I kinda hate; can we just give the damned platform peep-toes a rest already?!?).

  • holdmewhileimnaked

is that really nick cave in the background, third photo from the bottom? or just someone who wishes to look like nick cave?
[nick cave the singer not nick cave the dancer.]

    but i like the dress.

    • Yes. Yes, that is him.
But now I have to share: I got thisclose to him at Lollapalooza ’94. He brushed past me (it was crowded, he had to squeeze by) to get to his book signing. He’s really tall. I nearly peed myself.

  • Kelly Kerwin

  • butter nut

IN!  she always looks like she’s trying too hard.  here, she looks fresh & comfortable & the dress really suits her.

  • In. But I would hate to have to walk around in those shoes!

  • Patricia Gillett

IN, but she needs more support up top and I’m not a fan of platforms, let alone patent platform slingbacks. The color and cut of this dress works well on her though.

  • minnye

    Dress is IN!

  • enid soto

Out. Her curves get lost in this.

  • demidaemon

I think this is pretty cute. She could use some jewelry, but it could have been worse, as we well know. IN.

  • jennifervney

    In. It’s cute, bitches.

  • Cute dress, and I’m okay with the shoes, even though they do her feet no favors.  The hair does nothing for me.

  • HobbitGirl

IN. Not perfect, but tailored and it really flatters her figure (apart from the nearly universal droopy boobs). Those colors are perfect for Cannes.

  • IN

  • I want to like it, but it feels too low-key for a press event where photographers are present. It’s cute, but boring, and no actress appearing at Cannes should be accused of being boring. It’s like something a corporate VP wears to the after-work cocktail party PR event after she removed the matching black jacket with striped piping on the lapels and pockets.

  • Call me Bee

Darling dress, even though yes–she needs more support in the bust.  But she looks cute anyway.  IN.

  • quiltrx

IN. She does look cute.  Some tweaking would make this really great.

  • msdamselfly

    IN     Fantastic

  • oohsparkley!

    In. Cute look.

  • CatherineRhodes

  • AWS

I love it.  The girls look fine.  I love that neckline, Marilyn Monroe would be proud.  The shoes are fierce.  Her skin is flawless.

  • Anathema_Device

In. I think she looks fantastic. No quibbles.

  • lizajane1776

In. More support in the bust would be nice, but the bold colors work so well on her nice pale redhead coloring.

  • hmariec19

It is a cute dress, but I think this is a case of Girl, That’s Not Your Dress.  It bugs on her.  OUT.

  • ThaliaMenninger

IN. I like everything but the shoes. Yeah, a bangle would’ve been nice. And better posture would help. But I love her hair and overall look, so… In for me.

  • IN, even if it’s not quite a WERQ. She looks fresh-faced and sexy.

  • Twinzilla

In.  She looks too good to be out.

  • OUT. gut reaction.

  • Totally in.

  • Zippypie

I like the dress, just not on her at this event.  It’s a little too “secretarial day dress” for Cannes.

  • Super super cute. IN.

  • formerlyAnon

    Out. Somehow lackluster.

  • Lexie

In, but a bra and different shoes would have helped immensely.

  • It’s such a continuation of improvement, though!  Just like the pink gown, this is in service of her looks and not fighting them.  IN.

  • suzanne77

It’s cute bitches, but really, her breasts look fine to me. I do not see what you see here with her lil chastains or “chest-ains” as the case may be.

  • NCDFan

  • jw_ny

It’s ok.  The stripper shoes look odd with this dress, and the midriff stripe looks like it’s bulging…I know it’s an optical illusion.  More good than bad though…she looks pretty.

  • Nonnah

  • Char Crop

  • Sophie Collier

The midsection band causes a rather unfortunate illusion of bulge where there is none.  And the skirt seems to start a wee bit too high on her, which makes her boobs look like low-hanging fruit.  It’s almost a cute dress but it’s doing wonky things to her figure.  Not sure I even like it on the model.

  • altalinda

  • cleep1000

    The shoes are ridiculous. OUT.

  • In.  And I fervently hope someone got that poor model a sandwich (or four or five) the second she took off the dress.

  • Louise Bryan

I like it, mostly, but it’s unfortunate that she’s an unsupported actress.  Still, just for the color and pattern, I give it an IN.

  • I like this dress and think that it looks fabulous on her….I think she is lovely

  • No. No no no no no no…. OUT.

  • butterflysunita

    So very IN.

  • understateddiva

Out.  “little Chastains” made me giggle.

  • leave_Blake_alone

IN, though I agree it’s not perfect. I still like it an awful lot though.

  • It isn’t a total knockout, but it’s a big step ahead for her. Needed jewelry, and ditch the Payless shoes, but in.

  • fungstyle

out, those platforms are trashy looking.

  • In.  I love that dress!!!!

  • NurseEllen

Totally IN.  Yes to support (love your use of “the chastains”) and yes to some jewelry and yes to better posture but these cavils do not add up to anything much.  A great look!

  • IN. Sexy and cute.

  • LilyPad

The stripes hurt my eyes, and the fit doesn’t seem to flatter her shape, especially in her mid-section. The shoes are too generic to even mention. I vote OUT.

  • I think she’s looking pretty good. IN.

  • Lisa_Cop

OUT! Cute dress ruined by the lack of a supportive bra. And I don’t like the one sided braid; save those braid for the 14 year olds.

  • Verascity

Not perfect, but I like it. IN.

  • LordZoe

god. out. terrible shoes, awkward length and stiffness of skirt

  • Beth G

It’s doing weird things to my eyes.

  • Samantha Irene

IN, but does need a bra and perhaps a gold lace style bangle…

  • littlemac8

Love her lip color!  I  think she looks soooo pretty in daytime light!  IN – although not a WERQ, still nice daytime look.

I wish she had better support in the boob area, but any photo shoot that involves Nick Cave in the background = automatic IN.

  • In! So cute, I like the proportion of black to the little hints of red. I like her better away from too much red.

  • Aurumgirl

The vertical stripes make it look like her breasts are sagging.  If you look at the back view, the dress seems to fit her perfectly, but it’s not flattering up front.   She shouldn’t take it personally, though; it’s equally distorting on the model as well.

Totally totally IN.  She looks great and the dress is fabulous.

  • IN. I love the colors of the top with her hair and skin. Not perfect, but quite lovely.

    Those shoes look lethal…

  • sweetlilvoice

In because I love her smirk in the first photo, I would look that dorky too on the red carpet.

  • Allison Woods

Not nuts about the shoes, but love the dress. IN.

  • PeaceBang

I love a cute little braid but not with this look.

    IN. It’s cute, bitches.

  • Same.  I like it then I don’t.  I think what’s throwing me is her coloring against that stripe….
