In or Out: Malin Akerman in Lacoste

Posted on March 23, 2012

Here is a little psychological test for you to take, the results of which will determine whether or not you’ll ever be happy. No pressure! THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A WRONG ANSWER. Remember that.

When you look at Malin Akerman’s dress, do you see:

Malin Akerman attends the Lacoste launch of Women’s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection in West Hollywood.

Lacoste Spring 2012 Collection/Model: Monika Sawicka

a) An ’80s video game;

b) A high school math or science textbook cover; or

c) A sexy motherboard?

Us, we see kind of a cute dress. True, it’s practically a digital roadmap to a gynecological exam; and true, everything else about this look bothers us. Those shoes make us cry (and they look like they’re probably making her cry as well). Also, the eye makeup’s just a little on the scary side of things. We would have suggested a cleaner face, sleeker hair, a cocktail ring and sandals. We’re gonna have to say IN on the dress, but OUT on everything else, sadly. Kittens get the final say.

Vote Now!

IN! That dress makes the look!

OUT! She didn’t stick the dismount!

The kittens were appalled by Debra Messing’s wallpaper dress and big hair, voting the look OUT.

    b. high school textbook. But I’m sure that’s generational.

Cute dress, but out. If it’d been a few inches longer I might have had to agonize.

    • Ms_Flyover

Yep – She is a beautiful, tall woman.  It looks like a cute shirt on her.

    • AGREED. Out simply on hemline.

  • ericgoesgaga

The hair doesn’t bother me. The make up is a bit much and the silly putty shoes too lol. I do LOVEEEE the dress though

  • ccinnc

    PacMan.  But I like it.

    • buildmeatower

       PacMan, exactly.

  • Out based on length and nude pumps.  Love the “dress”, because honestly it should be classified as a shirt if it’s sold that short.

  • Andrea Rossillon

I see what you’re getting at with the science/math book cover, but that’s from the 70s/early 80s–textbooks covers started to go in for actual pictures starting around 1992. But I have an older brother, and I remember. And it does look like them.

The thing that ruins this dress for me is that the shoulder things are not just a part of the fabric pattern, but are some sort of sailor collar/vest thingie. Ick. If it were stitched down, it would look much better.

    • Andrea Rossillon

Another thing the dress looks like: stereotypical Southwestern patterns, as manifested in Tron.

      • AlieMichelle

Yeah, it looks like the patterns on kachina dolls/Native American artifacts to me. Cultural appropriation certainly is all the rage lately!

        • Kayceed

          I saw totem pole designs…

    • RebeccaKW

Yes, I agree.  From the side, they flip out all weird.

    • NinaBoo

The shoulder thingies plus the pattern made me think art deco.  The hair and make up do nothing for the look and those shoes make the angel babies weep.

  • Gonna have to say OUT.  I love the textbook reference, but that does not a good dress make.  And it needs an extra 2-3″ on the hem.

  • R. L.

I see a quasi-Native American art influence but this is OUT.  Anything that close to flashing your hoo-ha is an auto OUT.  The shoes are something we have talked to death and noone seems to like.  Her hair is a mess and she looks like she stayed up all night.

  • Verascity

IN. She looks super cute to me except the shoes.

  • Mayan calendar with tit flaps! Out.

  • ChaCha_70

Totally agree with your assessment, TLo. Very cute dress but tragic makeup and shoes. OUT.

  • In_Stitches

If it was just a basic shift dress with a kick ass pattern, it’d be an easy in, but that boob-peplum/vest is just….odd.   Gotta go with an OUT on this one.

  • MoHub

    Girl forgot her pants.

  • halleygee

80’s video game, it’s the Ms. Pac Man dress.

  • serenitynow02

I see a weird shirt. OUT.

  • Sara__B

Great little dress (video game), but it’s too short. Blech shoes. Ratty hair. OUT for getting the details wrong.

  • Violina23

80’s video game all the way, I was thinking it before I even read the choices.

I think it’s a cute dress, but too short for her… I say out, but not egregiously so

  • kolokOlchik

I see Aztec symbols.  And a dress that’s too short, hair that’s too messy, face that’s too shiny, shoes that are too horrible.
    I see a lady who’s out.

  • Beth G

I’m sorry… but that dress is Cindy-Brady-The Early-Years short.  There is NO way she’s sitting down in that thing without… well… you know.

And seriously?  Silly putty shoes?  Snore.

  • another_laura

80s video game.  And not in a good way.  Out.

  • janetjb

The dress is too tight. I like it better on the model because of the a-line silhouette.
(The hair, makeup, shoes, etc. aren’t doing her any favors either.)

  • nannypoo

I like the dress. I’m curious to know the reason for the shoes. Almost anything else would look better.

  • IN for me. Dig it all. Very cute dress. Make-up and hair don’t bother me and neither do the shoes.

  • Jessi03

Motherboard.  Even before you gave me the option.

  • ballerinawithagun

    Video game.

Cute dress but needs to be longer on her. Horrible hair, shoes & make-up.

  • Anathema_Device

I  LOVE that dress. Shame that it is about 2-3 inches too short and that she paired them with those stupid shoes. Hmmm…the fit is off, too. She doesn’t seem to have a shift-dress figure. It pulls at the hips and gaps at the waist, which is what it would do on me b/c I have a pretty small waist in proportion to my hips.

Okay, because she messed up the awesome dress, I’ll vote out.

btw, I see pure mod grooviness.

  • 80’s video game. Cute dress that got spoiled with the styling. Out.

  • RebeccaKW

Out.  I think the dress is too short, and the top-what’s going on in that side view?  I agree with an earlier comment-the vest or bib or whatever is throwing it off.  The shoes are making my eyes twitch.  The hair and makeup are too fussy for a fussy dress.

  • Joseph Davidson

I’m seeing Tron goes to the country club.  Not my favorite but I don’t hate it.

    • h0n0rb

I’m so glad someone else went straight to Tron. Tron with sailor suit flaps.

  • Those shoes suck (why didn’t she go for something graphic and fun?) and I want to attack her face with a wet nap because that shadow and bronze is kiiiiiiiilling me. And why does that dress look so short on Malin? I’m sure the model has a few inches on her but only Malin is making it look like a tunic.

IN, but barely. Mostly because I just want that dress in my closet. Hey, I’m probably a good six inches shorter than both, I could work it.

  • I would like the dress better if it were a tad longer. You know what’s worse than silly putty shoes? PLATFORM silly putty shoes. I am so bored with platforms.

In case we are tallying, I vote B. Practical Mathematics, 4th edition.

  • Terence Ng

  • MilaXX

Pacman all the way to an OUT. I don’t know if she is wearing the dress a size too small, had it fitted to her or the fact that she has actual thighs as opposed to the slimmer model, but I like the slightly looser bottom on the model much better. It could also stand to be an inch longer. She’s wearing the wrong shoes and the hair and makeup are too much for this outfit. Makeup’s heavy and hair is too big.

  • Revenge of the Southwest china pattern. Please take the return slip to JC Penny and go find a real dress. OUT

  • The dress is absolutely amazing but brought down by those boring, out of places shoes. I’d still give this an IN though.

  • twocee

Sexy motherboard just made me laugh out loud.

I see 80’s vid game.  Maybe that’s why I like the dress.  But why in the name of all that is holy would you wear those shoes with that dress?  Out.

  • sagecreek

IN. She looks adorable. And hey, I’m cranky today, so that’s high praise.

  • out. way to short, and that pattern is giving me a headache.

  • BrooklynBomber

I think it’s a super cute dress on the model, and a super cute tunic on MA. On MA it’s tight at the hips, whereas on the model it flares out a bit. Either way, super cute. I love it (but would lengthen or add pants in the MA version).

  • karena10

Out.  The dress could be in if it were a little longer and did not have that flap on the bodice (the bodice looks find from the front, but the flap is distracting from the side).  The shoes and hair are ‘meh’ enough that they don’t add or distract from the look.

  • I like the design, but I hate the length. I hate dresses that look like the woman cannot sit down without showing the good china. So that is an out for me.

  • Farthingale

Motherboard. It’s a stealth out. At first I’m all like “in”  because the dress features her bangin’ pins, but then you see that if she had to raise her arms above her head she’d be nsfw so out. And the model’s legs are absolutely nauseating. Blech.

  • piecesofconfetti

  • Roz

Ooh, she’s beaming like she just won that slumber party game where the hostess brings out her clothes from 3rd grade and all the highschoolers squeal and each one tries to squeeze into a dress.  OUT!

    • Kayceed

Slumber parties have sure chaged. We used to do seances and tried to raise the dead. Harmless fun!

    • Kayceed

Slumber parties have sure chaged. We used to do seances and tried to raise the dead. Harmless fun!

  • Kate4queen

I’m torn between text book and video game and showing my age. It hurts my eyes so out.

  • ampg

    TRON fights for the Users!

Anyway, I love this dress, but agree that pretty much everything else is wrong, so OUT.  Too bad, because I think she really could’ve pulled it off.

  • Bridget Dierks

Out. I feel like I can see the place where leg starts to meet hoo ha (esp in that first picture), so it is FAR too short.

  • DinaSews

It’s an automatic OUT since the choices made me realize how old I am.  Woulda, shoulda, coulda.  All words that imply that she just got it wrong.

  • AlexisPayne

    A) 80’s video game
The dress is great but all the details fall flat. Out.

  • cmb92191

    b) to the 80’s math/computer textbooks

It is a very cute dress.. IN

  • fireontiger

I hate the shoes, and I agree that the eye makeup isn’t great, but the dress is really doing her a lot of favors. We’ll give it an IN, but the next time I see those silly putty pumps…

  • Srw27

Love the dress but the hair & shoes are a hot buttered mess.  OUT

  • she looks like she forgot pants.  don’t care for it.  out.

  • Cute at first glance. But why the little shrug thing at the top? Why can’t it just be one piece?

Also, those shoes need to DIE. And the dress is way too friggin short.
Black tights and booties (both of which I normally hate, but are totally called for here) and this would be IN.

But as it is, OUT. O-U-T.

  • butterflysunita

    a.  video game, and barely IN.  It looks so great on the model–for some reason it’s longer on the model than Malin, which is unusual.  And I love the model’s shoes.  But I still say IN–partly because she looks good overall and partly because her dress brought back fond Pac-man memories.

  • Little_Olive

Agree with TLo… on a second thought, I’m on the fence with the “youngness” of the dress. She has the figure for that silhouette, though.

The shoes are indeed tragic. But I have to say a more pointed toe makes a difference to the better in the silly realm of silly putty pumps (not that they are acceptable anyway).

  • Laylalola

Ha! I was thinking, is it Pac Man or Space Invaders that this dress is reminding me of? before I saw TLo’s multiple choices. OUT

  • kirble

I dunno, I love the relaxed, beachy vibe she’s giving off. Except for the shoes, which make her look like she is barefoot with no toes.

I’m gonna have to go with IN.

  • Maluca

I was so into this until I saw the side pic and saw the “flaps” coming out of the dress. WTF is that?

Still I say IN cause she looks good from the front!

  • elmhurstgal

    Another vote for PacMan!

  • Synnamin

    c) sexy motherboard

I would have liked it better as a single print (as opposed to a dress with added shoulder/back pieces), but I don’t hate it. In

  • sarahofalessergod

    Where’s Pac Man?

  • AthenaJ

Well, Malin is certainly airing it out, isn’t she? Coulda been a cuter dress if a) it were a bit longer, and b) if it fit better. Those shoes are ugly AND painful – a pointless combination. I can at least understand painful gorgeous shoes, but these? Feh. Not liking the messy hair and overdone makeup – it makes her look young, but not in a good way… more like a teenager experimenting with hair dye and makeup. A shame, because this dress (aka shirt) IS interesting from a design standpoint. Too bad the overall look does not do it justice. Tally up all of the mistakes (you could even do the math on the dress itself!) and it’s an OUT.

    • KC

I disagree. I think the length is fine because she’s so thin it doesn’t look vulgar. I also think the fit is supposed to be a bit loose and casual which is why a pony tail and sandals would’ve worked better. But I totally agree that her hair does not work and those shoes are a COMPLETE mismatch. I have no idea why anyone would choose them to go with THAT dress.

      • AthenaJ

The length isn’t as bad when she’s standing, but let’s hope she didn’t have to sit down – or God forbid – drop something and have to pick it up!

  • fungstyle

I agree that the shoes, makeup, and length are all pulling this look down, but girlfriend is WORKING that smile. I say she gets an IN for confidence and a sassy little dress, though she definitely needs to get some help in the detailing department.

  • KC

I love the dress. I’m a fan of weird video game style dresses. But I totes agree with everything else. I really love a nice pony tail on the red carpet. She could’ve gone with a simple casual pony tail and it would’ve made the outfit much cuter.

  • marilyn

    IN.  It is cute.

  • i like the dress, but it is too short! i feel like her butt is trying to escape the ancient ruins or something. and the shoes make me want to projectile vomit. OUT. she would have been an in with better shoes and a slightly longer hem line.

  • newleaf1

Gyno dress.  Don’t sit down.  Love the sandals on the model.  NO to nude pumps.  Out.

  • Allyson Wells

The hair doesn’t bother me so much, but the makeup and shoes were definitely a bad choice. Love that dress though!

  • IN until she sits down anyway. Tribal rug.

  • C. It looks like the little guy from Zuma Blitz.

….I need to spend way less time on facebook.

  • Pants, what?  For me it’s Tron.  And out.

  • howdoilook

    Cute dress, but out.

  • jw_ny

I didn’t see any of the listed options.  Interesting graphic that sort of has an Inca or Aztec feel to it…maybe?

Anyway…she looks cute.  The hem length is a bit too short, but it doesn’t bother me since she’s covered up top..not pulling a Blake Lively! (boobs & legs)  I’m ok with her soft & slightly messy hair, but agree the eye makeup and shoes were wrong choices.

  • IN! Though the model beats her slightly, it’s totally a Malin style dress. Maybe a trifle small on her? And those shoes are sad.

  • librarygrrl64

    a) An ’80s video game;
    b) A high school math or science textbook cover; or
    c) A sexy motherboard?

You forgot d) A shirt. She needs pants or a skirt. OUT.

  • B. I know that’s what all the over-40’s are going to say. amitrite?
I’m feeling cranky so I am going to say OUT because the dress is adorable and would look better on me since I wouldn’t be wearing those shoes and certainly would not, um, do that, to my hair or face.

  • ChaquitaPhilly

Love the dress but it’s too short!

  • Stefanos Mantyla

Not sure if the hair, face, and shoes detract from the dress, but they are part of the picture.

    Low-level IN.

  • Thank you for flying TronAir.  I’m Malin, your flight attendant, over and OUT.

  • allisankelly

Cute dress, but it can’t save the overall look for me.

    Missed it by this much.

  • Don’t like the the way the fabric is pointing up where her bosoms are, it almost seems like the dress is too around her chest, yet it isn’t tight. It’s a tad too short and the shoes are ghastly.

  • cute and striking dress, IN!

  • IN. I LOVE that dress. (shoes and hair are feh, though)

  • Pants_are_a_must

OUT. How on earth can she sit in that thing? Or walk? Or not just stand around with her hand pulling the front down all the time?

  • maggiemaybe

Math book, but a super cute math book. She looks adorable.

  • shiftercars

Hair and makeup are the results of last nights drinking binge, as is the fact that she had to borrow her 5’4″ BFF’s dress. Dress is probably super cute on her 5’4″ friend. OUTs on her.

  • Rebecca Zmarzly

Out. I like the shift part of the dress as a tunic top, and the colors are okay (totally 80s video game), but SHOES! If you feel you have to go with a neutral, what’s wrong with basic black?

  • StrandedFashionista

    I’ll give it an in.

  • JackieOBlue

80’s video game was my first thought.  Besides that, OUT.  I like the dress, but a dress alone does not make the whole look.  Bad make-up, hair and shoes cancel out the cute dress.  Enough of cutting these celebrities so much slack, they have boat-loads of money, clothes, shoes and jewelry thrown their way and their own stylists.  There should be no excuse for looking bad.

  • GTrain

I’ll say “sexy motherboard”. It’s a cute dress but not on her and damn, her shoes look like they’re 3 sizes too small. OUT

  • chitowndg

Out, the dress is just too short.  Would be an in if the dress were longer.

  • I like the dress but it’s too short and everything else sucks. OUT.

  • onyxkatze

i see the color scheme and user interface of mass effect 3.

  • onyxkatze

i see the color scheme and user interface of mass effect 3.

  • Those lapels on the side overkilled it for me, OUT.

  • JasmineAM

    Tron Meets Sailor Moon

  • charlotte

I see a labyrinth game for children…lead the mouse to the cheese!
Although I like the pattern, it is definitely too short.

  • In.  Love the dress and I’m willing to overlook everything else…

  • Shoes are horrid but love the ones on the model. Dress would totally benefit from wee Pac-Men chasing their way up and down the stripes. Hair is bad, makeup looks dirty (as in unclean, I just woke from my nap and was running late). OUT (in case I seemed ambivalent).

  • LuisaNL

OUT! hate the dress, shoes, hair and make up. great legs, though.

  • In.  It’s a great dress on her.

  • 3boysful

TOTALLY agree with your assessment–and am not just sucking up!

  • She’s in, but her dress still looks like TRON.

  • Cassandra Jolin

I see a mix between the textbook and the motherboard, sexy as it is.
I gotta say out.  It’s a cute dress but everyhting else just seems like a mess to me.

  • alyce1213

    It’s a dress?

  • The dress is cute, but her shoes blend with her skin tone so much that she looks like she has weird pointy feet.

  • saanrio

I’m having TRON flashbacks… the original, not the new one.

  • Eclectic Mayhem

I’m still reliving my 80s crush on Bruce Boxleitner so I see Tron, I’m happy to see Tron and the blouse dress is IN.

    • holdmewhileimnaked

i know someone [entirely too well] whose entire career has been spent analyzing tron. decades of it at this point.

      • Eclectic Mayhem

*much laughter*  Yeah, my interest in Tron pretty much starts and finishes with Bruce Boxleitner so I applaud your position.

  • LesYeuxHiboux

OUT, cute from the front, terrible from the side. She also has rather curvy hips that change the line in an unfortunate way.

    Plus, I hate her.

  • MzzPants

In, ‘cuz I love the dress.

  • joe_tey83

It’s like how Katy Perry wore a Smurf dress to some Smurf movie event. She’s wearing this dress to some Pacman movie event. Except she’s not Katy Perry and people expect her to be kind of sane even when at a Pacman movie event.

  • littlemac8

EEEEEk!!!!  Don’t bend forward or back, left or right and whatever you do, DON’T go to the blackboard to write the solution to that math problem or you’ll be in big trouble!!!

  • I see the 80’s video game A. Love the dress. Like her hair (tho maybe a bit too much product?) Shoes are blah, make-up is too much. And DAMN never realized just how skinny she is… she may not be at Jolie level yet, but her legs are twigs. I feel like her ankles are non-existent. This needed a cool bangle. IN, but only just by a sliver because I like the dress. Take off 1/2 the make-up, add some cute summery sandals, and a cool resin bangle and she would have killed it. (Also eat some food).

  • TheOriginalLulu

  • CQAussie

    a. 80’s video game

This perplexes me.  I dislike the shoes and the make-up but I like her hair.  The dress on its own is pretty and I love it but on her, it’s a tad too short.  I didn’t think so till I looked at the pics again.  OUT because I’m terrified of her cooch flashing me any minute.

  • In!

  • That dress is gorgeous, but what on earth does she have slathered all over her face? It’s not just the eyes – her cheeks are bright orange. Not to mention her hair is a disaster – it looks dry, wispy and fried. Shoes aren’t even worth a mention.

What a shame. I love that dress so much.

  • Warmheartedgirl Seattle

I saw a motherboard.  Used to be married to a Microsoft employee…  Anyhoo, IN.  Because that dress is adorable!  Cute enough to overcome those horrid shoes.

  • mmc2315

Love the dress, but on the whole, her look is a miss.  OUT.

  • oohsparkley!

Boo on the shoes!  It makes me sad enought to vote out on a cute girl in a cute dress.

  • A. Video game. LOVE the dress. HATE the styling. Out.

  • pawtley

    Atari’s Adventure.

Same ruling on dress v. accessories; since she looks happy, an IN.

  • Judy_J

The dress is cute, but too short.  Bad shoes, bad hair, bad styling make this an OUT for me.

  • j_anson

Man, I was thinking TRON before I even got to the multiple choice (so… both A and C?). I think that doesn’t bode well for happiness. It IS a cute dress, though. IN!

  • a_liking

    love that dress. In.

  • DeborahLipp

Out. It would be in as a dress, out as a pantsless shirt.

  • “A digital roadmap to a gynecological exam” Perfect lol

  • IN
video game, i just hate the shoes. but i dont mind the dress i would wear it

  • demidaemon

I like the dress from the front but it does weird things in profile. Also, agree on all the styling points. OUT.

  • cleep1000

I like the hair, but that’s about it. The dress should be longer and tapered or belted at the waist. She looks like a rectangular box.

  • marywv

Hmmm… IN-ish, but I hate the shoes. And the hair looks like refried funnel cake.

  • kimmeister

Ill-fitting nude pumps with major toe cleavage render this an out.

    (I saw Pac-Man too.)

  • allj

Love the dress, but it needs a couple more inches. Also, I see (d) a tribal mask.

  • turtleemily

I say in as it’s both interesting and she looks pretty. I don’t mind the eye makeup since I think it draws your attention to her face instead of just staring at the lines on the dress.

  • efishfan

I don’t like the flapadoos. It looks like the facings got sewn on the outside of the garment.

  • I seldom get to say this, but she is too tall for that dress! IN nevertheless, and for the record, I see a test pattern.

  • butter nut

    d) none of the above.  love the dress.  HATE everything else.  that hair, girl… get some conditioner!

    so – IN

  • OUT. I hate those primary colors. They should never be allowed together on clothes. Remind me of the eighties in East Europe, when no nuances were allowed – God forbid the people should have fun.

  • benjamin478

IN. All the details are not optimal, but good enough

  • BrightsideSusan

PacMan –  love the colors and they should tack down the vest thingy.  In.

  • in

  • Haley Buchanan

IN.  A little on the Pac Man side but what’s not to love about Pac Man?  It’s colorful, adorable, and maybe a bit short but gal’s got good legs.

  • annieanne

When you look at Malin Ackerman’s dress, do you see:

i see a tunic top and she forgot her pants.
It’s a cute design but its way too damn short and the styling sucks.

  • b.), I like that dress so IN

  • Lisa

I can’t get past the overly-tanned face to pay attention to the dress.

  • Allison Woods

    Scrolldown fug.

  • Sophie Collier

I’m with you, I adore the dress but she did nothing with it.  Hard choice, but I’ll say “IN” just to encourage her to pick more cute little oddball dresses.

  • ccm800

Out those shoes look like deformed feet.

  • unbornfawn

OUT. That’s not her dress. And all that other stuff too.

  • I see a really uneven fake tan job on the legs. She forgot to roll up the left leg of her yoga shorts and take off the crew sock on her right foot first.

  • Louise Bryan

Out.  It’s a cute dress, but it’s not hers.

  • Out. All I’m seeing is Optimus Prime.

  • Amanda Gibson

    in. cute!

  • She looks like a bad “Sexy Tron” Halloween costume. Cute dress, but not for her. OUT

  • OUT. Unforgivable shoes!

  • DCSheehan

In. I wish it didn’t have that odd vest thing up top but she’s wearing the heck out of it so well done.

  • FayeKat

The first thing that came in my mind upon looking at that dress was Tron! Then i thought it was kind of cute, or it could be on somebody else! Maybe! Plus, that hair and make up make me cry…So it’s OUT for me.

  • tsid2012

I like the dress a lot but am unsure about the rather odd bolero jacket thingy on top.  Is that attached? It’s a little awkward looking.  OUT.

  • DominoEstella

IN.  Cute and I would totally wear that dress and I might even be able to afford it.

  • jcolli69

The silhouette of dress changes because she (unlike the model) has some hips/ass, which also makes the top look like her armpits are being squeezed within an inch of their lives. Or is that just the math textbook pattern?!?!? Love the color palette, but overall the dress just reads AWKWARD on her. And that shoe choice was made by someone with early signs of depression. OUT.

  • dharmabum8

I thought it sorta looked like Optimus Prime, but I’m also way sleep deprived today.

  • IN. Totally cute dress, looks great on her, and cut these starlets some slack for learning how to elongate their legs via Stacy and Clinton’s lesson on WNTW.

  • ThaliaMenninger

Cute dress (definitely a motherboard)  but way too short. And the shoes make the Easter Bunny cry. OUT for me.

  • plinkiedoodle

Dress is too short.  Hair is a mess.  Like the design on the dress though.  Over and out.

  • Rrroza

the fuck with the nude/putty shoes!!!!!! aaaiiiiiiiiiiiieeeee.

(when I first glanced I immediately thought “Tron” ! so, I guess i vote for a.)

OUT because of shoes and hem way too high)

  • Dress is cute, and definitely Pac Man-ish. LOVE IT. Too bad the rest falls short. Still, an IN for wearing such a wacky, wonderful piece.

  • LambeeBaby

Cute Tron dress. I think it is pretty close to showing “the good china” , should be about 1/2 inch longer.

  • AWStevens

Total IN on everything.  I love it!  The hair, make-up, shoes, AND especially this abstract painting of a dress.  IN!

  • fashionablylate

I like everything but those dreadful shoes. IN.

  • aristida_girl

    IN, Ms. PacMan!

  • Snailstsichr

The dress is too short and the shoes are so dull they would have to work to be hiddy…which I think is actually worse than being hideous.
I think she needs to immediately give me the dress. It would come to just above my knees and look adorable. (Since this is a fantasy, I will just pretend I an a size 2.)

    What is with her EYEBROWS???

  • Dhammadina

How about d. part of a mola inspired placemat.
    Anyway, an IN for me.

  • Kristy Evans

Waaaay too short. She didn’t pass the fingertip test: if it’s above your fingertips when you put your hands to the side, it’s a tunic/top. It it’s at or below, it’s a dress. THIS IS NOT A DRESS. Her hair, make-up, and shoes are pure dreckitude, as ALT would say.  Also, it reminds me of an 80s video game, all the way.
