Color us SHOCKED, darlings.

Because we normally hate what she wears in public and we really love this look. Like, REALLY love it; possible personal best for her. You see, like so many starlets, Carrie Underwood is allergic to color and has a tendency to only go out in gowns that are white, silver, or some beigey neutral. For a relatively pale-skinned blonde, it made for a succession of looks that were either boring or unflattering, washing her out and making her look, at best, like a glamorous bride wearing too much makeup and jewelry.
But THIS, darlings. This is the kind of thing that makes T & Lo so very happy after literally years of bitching about the same thing. We really enjoy the pretense that these little attention whores actually listen to us, but the fact of the matter is, there’s a “color moment” happening on the red carpet right now and like all red carpet “moments,” (or, in fact all moments, period), this will be short-lived. We give this one an unreserved IN but we have to give the Bitter Kittens something to do or else they’ll destroy the furniture, so we’re turning this over to you, darlings.
IN! Gorgeous and colorful!
On the Oscars red carpet, Meryl’s gold gown was voted IN, Michelle Williams super-twee red gown was voted OUT, and Rooney Mara’s corpse bride dress was vehemently argued for and against, with the final vote coming down to OUT.
